some work done which is why i'm up before everyone else check this out new york city rents have dropped by 14 and the article ends by saying that new york city rents are starting to tick upwards and there's two reasons for that most restrictions here in new york have been lifted as far as covet is concerned and the second reason is because some landlords think that now that everything is over they can charge more money for something that nobody was willing to pay less money for just a couple of weeks ago does that make any sense no lights but that's okay and the reason that's okay is because we've got some natural light this is a one bedroom for 24.95 this over is the front door where we came in after you walk in you've got the kitchen in the bathroom and then you walk into this which is the living space 15 feet eight inches by 11 feet three inches but after glancing at the kitchen i don't think you're fitting more than a kitchen table in there which means by these windows you should have your bed right here and then on that wall mount your tv and then put a couch horizontally in the middle of the room will this be a walk-in closet oh you better believe it now over here in the kitchen things get kind of interesting stove and fridge look recent but i do not see a sink sprayer love these cords coming right out of the wall above the faucet plus you get these cool counters and baskets dare we venture into the bathroom the tub and all this tiling definitely looks new sinks decent this is a medicine cabinet and then over here you've got the throne oh wow this one's totally different and it's got power but what the heck is hanging from the ceiling in spite of some of the odd design choices i think this might be the better of the two apartments the living room is 11 feet 11 inches by 10 feet 11 inches you can get a couch and an entertainment center in here no problem and check out the view come on all right i got it open this is really something else that is a new york city view right there i think we're on the sixth floor by the way so this one's a little higher up but that's also why it's so sunny which is nice on the other side of that hole we will find the bedroom right over here through this door what is up with these weird lights either way this space is ten feet eight inches by seven feet nine inches i'm thinking bet over here fold your stuff up throw it on those shelves and over here by the door dressers and maybe a small desk the kitchen's pretty interesting tables like this are so practical and that gives you a lot more counter space than what you have here which as you can see isn't much next to the kitchen we've got the bathroom which is different i like how it kind of goes in two different directions and i like these little shelves next to the medicine cabinet that looks useful then over here you got the tub it's a little old school but you could take a bath if you wanted and then you've got this massive window [Music] all right now in my opinion those are probably a couple hundred bucks a month over priced but we are in a popular part of the east village that's why we're looking at apartments here today shout out to this guy nice to meet you nice to meet you too you got little boutiques and shops and the apartment's also on the exact same street as the veselka ukrainian diner this place is famous although i will say i'm not a fan of the borscht but everybody else is i like the pierogies but more importantly than that do you like my new sneakers these will make me look like a dad on father's japanese snacks in here look at this stuff these are for you violet i don't know if you're allowed to eat them now these are from beard papa which has really good cream puffs it's like custard pastry type thing really good [Music] no no don't press that that's the alarm no no no don't press that all right violet we gotta hold hands you ready traveling with children this young in new york it's not
