[Music] hi everyone in this video tutorial we are going to create a 3d model from the 2d drawing as usual the drawing will be uploaded on the Pinterest account and you can find and practice by yourself at first this will be a very good practice to explore the loft command so without wasting the time let's get started with the modeling if you see this portion and this portion in this view they are very simple and easy to create so we will divide this model into three parts create this bodies at first then this and after that we will create this portion using the love command I think that this might be possible using sleep also but let's let us stick to the loft command only so let's begin with the modeling you can download the drawing and write simultaneously so I'll be taking this drawing of this screen now go to the top plane create the extrude so I will select the line again for the cursor on the endpoint of that line it will get converted to our let's sign the horizontal dimension this is 2 inch sorry press shift and select this line it will give n to end dimensioning and this distance is 4.5 it is clear from the drawing he'll escape now the total height is two inch so I'll go and select the midplane and two each but there are two separate bodies of 0.4 each right so I will simply create the cutout midplane so the tutorial cut out will be to minus 0.4 minus 0.4 and I'll say okay okay I could have created the hole inside this sketch only the diameter is 1 oh that's really nice now I will be working on this portion you can see this hole is smaller and the bottom one is larger hole so I'll go in the front plane to create the extrude same we will create thearc 990 dimensions they are same pressing the shift gives me the ability to assign the outer dimensions since I have selected this as the origin and everything is ok I will just this diameter will be 1 now this is point there is the gap of point to one between two extrudes so from the mid plane it will be point zero five inch on either side so total will be point one each therefore I will assign point zero five and we yeah giving this as point four click OK similarly again I will select the plane extrude I will convert this sketch the difference is the diameter which will be one point two and okay I think this should be one and the previous one should be one point to this is under defined because it was not coinciding with the origin and extrude reverse offset same thing Cape remains and click OK I'll just make this one point two now coming to the main portion of this model in this joint you can see that there are no dimensions given on how to control this portion but if you see the arcs or the line or the profile whatever you say are tangent to this face and this face it means if we lift this to section and assign the tangency then we will have this profile now loft is used when you have two different cross sections so we have two different cross sections over here I'll select this and this but you see it is not giving the result we want as I said we need to change the constraints so start constraint will be the first phase and constraint will be the second phase and they will be tangent to these phases now still it is not giving the result we want and for that we need to drag this control point and this should be good now you can increase the tangent plane over here but I think we won't need that this is good click ok let me create another body another low feature yes and it is failing for now so what we need to do is just drag the control points and let's keep it common in both the profiles yes simply again go for the tangency to face tangency to face everything looks good now let's compare in the hidden lines visible mode and our drawing and yes everything looks good over here and you can see the lines are exactly the way we want and yes so that was all about this model so I hope you have liked this tutorial so - please share and comment and hit the like button if you have any doubt you can ask in the comment section I will definitely reply and thank you for watching
