last new show that we're revealing as part of smashed over and basically what we're gonna be doing is playing a bunch of board games RPGs various different card games we're gonna be super nerdy make it twister yeah nah we playing naked twister how many dudes on the chip but anyway today we're playing a game by Riot Games guys their second game ever right they finally earned the S yeah they earned that us finally yeah we're gonna be playing maximum vs. minions a cooperative scenario-based game we play as yordles trying to battle minions to accomplish various different objectives yordle and this game actually takes place in the league of legends were yes that is correct yep basically the way the game works is we're gonna take turns drafting cards the first round to be ten cards and then every subsequent round will be five cards we'll take those cards we slot them into this command line here they'll have different actions on them like move forward turn 90 degrees so you don't have full control over where you move no but you do have control over where you slot the cards so you can kind of plan things out and make that you're gonna be doing maneuvers how you want to do it and then you execute the command line order we each take turns doing that or the minions have their turn and then we keep going until we either die or complete the objective one flips the table or no one flips the table yo test lasercorn is strong enough to flip this table great now this is a cooperative scenario based game so what happens in this particular scenario all right so the way this scenario works is there's all of these power gems here I'm wondering what are the why are you scattered all over the place well in the very this is actually the second scenario that this game offers in the first one we have scenario scenario potato photography here we go yo here we go yo so what so what so what they don't get it you know well lasercorn knows but he's not used so in the very first scenario in the game you had to find a bomb bring it back to your base to contain the explosion well that bomb exploded and it scattered this energy all around the map about energy crystals and now you have to take them and bring them back to the mechs school we lose by uh if all of our command lines fill up and we die or if even one minion reaches our platform yep they get up on a little platform here okay well that's gonna be very difficult way here what means yeah why your mech gets disabled what you will see over the course of the game but if you take a point of damage you might have to slide in a damage card into your command line so if your whole line fills up you're essentially disabled and if you get too disabled there are access ramps all over ya not true well I start with who we are we'll start over at this end of the table I am Heimerdinger and I am a little I'm a little mech guy here I got the orange hair just like me and he's got a he's got some cool steampunky goggles there uh he likes long walks on the beach he likes fire your lawyer too yeah as well yeah multiple parties well yeah you can have hobbies he's in the beach volleyball fair you know I'm gonna be playing as zigs today I just love this dude's he looks ready to explode every stitch oh man you've been you've been practicing your voice actor I'm gonna be playing as porky he looks like he's just an angry old man riding a dinosaur robot straight and to me he's saying to me he sounds like Koki I don't want to deal with you mother that's like Lisa yeah Wow he's Hank and this is all his lawn and he wants everyone get off my lawn I'm juice Donna the grape Queen the Queen yeah it's all about that grape also grimace is my uncle oh that's can actually manage let's get into the first draft with ten cards and this our last by the way times are drafted is a time Draft but because it's a double draft for the first one we do get two turns I hate that pressure I don't see he's good at my eyes okay so we're gonna roll the d6 now to see who gets to draft first is number will draft first I've rolled a five so good really good great that's what I wouldn't Wow wizardry I will be driving first and we'll go clockwise three four five six seven eight we drive all done at once we're gonna drop these all down okay they're out the dress starts now when you're just begun I'm looking for the move but when you draft something right I'm gonna take skewer it's just one right move around oh it's me oh yeah yeah we got plenty of time guys see you're Russian but you know yeah oh I'm smart dock tick tock yes I got like a minute you Lightning I guess lace wizard to Big Bird go for flames fitter because I spit hot fire when I'm on the board my name is Tristan I like grapes in Georgie LaForge I took speed all right we got to we're gonna throw these in the discard pile which will just put over here I got myself a skewer and a Chain Lightning so I can move and do damage all around me it's never good I got plays so I get to move forward and and blaze up two minions on the side you know how we forward my god you know how he believes I went with side because I'd like to turn a radius and he likes knock stuff yeah like oh yeah I got scythes and then I got flame spitter because I relate to it mixtape coming out soon how illegible get right and then I took speed which allows me to move various spaces well where you television and then I got you whole tank which allows me to turn so mostly movement based stuff but if I take damage while I have fuel tank active I can decide to discard it from my command line and make a giant explosion around me in white bad watch this is all actually just an intervention about your speed problem yeah I do have a problem all right so now we we all slot at the same time we could choose where it goes one through six but it does have to be done you're executed in that order so get ready sly he's Latin right he loving explosions I saw fuel thing it was like maybe I'm gonna go with that one I have a feeling that there's gonna be a lot of minions and I would like to explode all we got this all right so we've all slotted yes Oh cards you can't keep a card but later on you'll see that we can get rid of them to heal not necessary right now but now we're gonna go into the execution phase which I'll go first so before we start if everyone wants to grab their minion we actually get to choose where we'd like to place our minions to start just start a platform cheater well joven yeah you went first so you go ahead and place first so you taking that right side uh yeah in the meantime is someone gonna play D oh no one else yeah you stand and deliver I can play the if no one else wants to I gave me bloodthirsty okay I'll play deep I'll play defense let's go ready defense sorry a defense got a shart right next to you I'm gonna plan to go that way okay and we start on the platform yeah you guys who go in this way no yeah alright the number one that way what's up go get him actually you know what if I'm playing defense I just realized closest so starting with joven will now execute our command line alright so starting first I've skewered that has me move forward one spot now no longer safe there and then I have chain lightning which attacks the first three squares in front of me so boom no one there no damage done I've got Omni stumped so one one forward or to either side I guess I'll go round Genesis when I way now and then lady push him I'm gonna push field in forward aha bumps that was actually smart because wait oh wait but now I have to bump him again I bumped you again okay that's fine you're way up there moving down a lot that's no words the rate because of my arrange of attack I'm gonna go with the sides because I got the side turn on your fries I'm just turn that way just kinda the best all I can do flame spitter but ain't nobody listening mm-hmm alright so I'm going to use fuel tank to turn 90 degrees we're gonna go this way and then speed to move one two spaces forward one two and that's what we're gonna be and then we're going to roll this die right here whatever color comes up those minions in that quadrant you can actually see the compass right here indicating which one is which will move an extra space and you'll spawn another row of minions in the back of there so let's start by the way do we spawn an extra row of minions but all the minions there beforehand move an extra spot forward I didn't just say that sarcasm let's move everyone forward one you can do that sign on and now latest point if you'd like to do the honors probably bad Oh who's still on the platform shoot well we'll see what the damage is and now they spawn and so I actually don't get to look at the damage guard before I would decide to use a fuel tank I think I can afford to take one point damage real quick and maybe get rid of the lady so first before we get that far let's get our next row all right so now I'm being attacked for one point of damage so if you'd like to hand me a damage card there we'll see what the damage is all damaged this says your move one space backward and I have to roll a d6 now to see where I slide it we're hoping not a three or four because that would ruin my command line this is a that's not bad that basically just means that I only move one space forward with speed so and that damage is going to stay on your command line until you can repair it using a car yeah if I decide to do so yeah yeah I can kill both those guys next to me though yeah what do we have to worry about this all right it's Draft time draft I live cards and it is laser corns turn to draft one two three four five I do see drafting space becoming a problem it will I need put the time oh yeah I need the spin I do let me get fuel thing so I can do a giant explosion all right yeah you need to move we got a blaze my god blaze will actually move wait again yeah blaze goes forward you not have to rush you but you know time is of the essence whoa no way you're talking to me yeah oh oh here was I have word now I'm gonna give plays you will tank number two all right I'm gonna take my favorite card here ripsaw cool this one goes in the discard pile all right and now at the same time we all slot I will slot this little thing I'm gonna slot scythe up at number one I'm gonna do some damage and now one thing that just came up that we didn't mention is if you have a card of the same color you can slot it in a slot that has that color already and it will essentially do the upgraded version powers up yes right of the card that is on top you override the bottom card so if they were different cards for instance if this was flame spitter in fuel tank I would get the level tool to a fuel tank but I would no longer have playing so you stack colors not actions right all right so lasercorn we should go into our execution phase now we should I'm gonna take damage yeah if I well I I can when everything moves up I'm gonna have a guys slide these are gonna die right now yes I know I'm gonna kill those guys oh here's what I'm gonna do yeah they're gonna slit up if I kill those two I'm gonna take two points of damage are you gonna go after those two joven I will be able to kill one of them yet does this one only slide to here so using scythe I turn this way using omni stuff I move one forward and then i blaze ahead BAM wait blaze moves you yeah yeah this moves up one and then deal damage to targets on either side so yeah I just blaze those guys up first blood goes to me thank you Dad Oh Rambo and this minion kill counter actually tracks our level so every time we killed five minions we will level up from one of the two three four and so on and that'll actually activate these cards here or eventually they're random we don't know what they are yet I didn't look eventually if we get to level 15 that activates our overdrive which may be the overhead camera can see on our command lines I got side so imma turn this way and I'm gonna head on down to where I'm going but ain't nobody there is it way to slash I get to move twice yeah back it up in fact at level two blares two spaces over Corki over here I'm gonna use a fuel tank to turn 90 degrees then speed I'm gonna stop this [ __ ] over here yeah I am damaged so you move for two spots move back ones fine that's like your life oh all right Ziggs is up seems like and then I got tree money nothing I've been saw shoot a rip saw all the way down with the team gear yeah we are level one these guys back in the land of the dead and now it is the minions turn to do their worst and hoping that it's not on here come the minions that's what the minions say and this guy on the way over here man I'm I have to do some work on this yeah a lot of work yeah there's there's work coming in oh man guys I could maybe blow up a lot of people it's really great there's a lot of pressure to roll what's the worst one to get right now I would not like to see blue is the only attack their sides so it's diagonal to your character you do not take damage you get to have a damage card isn't that great yeah it's so exciting I'm Danny a car imaged enough Harvey here discard our slots again slots the way damage works is as he draws the cards he has to then perform that action so he has to roll this guy twice now red pressing your baby's red red and then we'll slot that one so roll the dice that is not bad no okay so follow that in the one slot and then you're gonna do this again so cool slot it up if f you guys six bad I guess or ween I can't really do much and oh yeah protecting the business yeah Flitz it's gonna need some help so yeah someone's might have to retreat I'm about to kill two minions though with one stone okay I'm taking damage to I've got a minion right up in my grill uh so yeah glitch oh good it's a discard reorder your command line swap slots five and six I have nothing in slots five or six so yay for me yeah yeah and that's the discard that's the one you wanted to join yeah that was the good one you drew the bad one it was totally my fault if you wanted to retreat I can literally get that I ate Stern I could stop forward oh man we got a bunch aside when can I repair all right so let's live that time the timer okay ready let's wrestle cars are in the clutch going with the side and you saved me aside I'm gonna take a rip flit it's let's stacked I Lu's skewer unfortunately but now I can turn 180 degrees to come up my buddy I'm gonna I'm gonna put the ripsaw at the end there I'm gonna slot speed right at the end of mine - it's not a huge help to me but you might not want to pick up the crystal because some stuff happens if that happens good but I want the crystal look how shiny that crystal is it is I slot his side on side you are damaged surface you're gonna have a wire rotation all right facing red red alright well I guess I'll be turning 180 kill it with the sign nice nice a blaze stack the size on top of flame spinner and I moved forward two spaces the punx at my side get-get-get blasted off nice yeah they're blasting off again right now you gotta roll your second oh no I gotta turn around in circles wait stop wasting the execute so inky right I am gonna cheat so Hank you know ya don't execute me please alright I'm gonna turn 90 degrees using fuel tank like 180 but that's not what I want to do then I'm gonna move forward cue space to stop stop get your [ __ ] ass out of here then you're gonna move back one space because we got stuck controls but then we're gonna use this here ripsaw this guy's dead we move up in team gear so we're up to level two level dude is that your anyone's gotta change my back to barrel roll it says so do barrel states play when you would take damage take no Jam damage move to an adjacent space and turn to face any is that a one-time use and is a one-time yes adjacent space here's the thing I prepared my my cards here so that I can help Flitz you don't need any help how's it so now I'm stuck turning 90 degrees for 180 degrees this way I could rip saw this guy that's good protection oh no no no I would like it very much if we rolled on this side okay in that case I have to move 90 so I'll do night I don't even move forward anymore though oh you know I'm gonna be fine all right this is great all right so because of the double on side I can move 90 degrees or 180 I'm gonna do 90 this way Chain Lightning has we tagged these three locations nothing happens though and ripsaw shoots all the way this way and whips okay I hit that guy he's hurt he dead yeah in that case out of corpse congratulations here's my move [Music] all right well something happens when we pick up the crystal so yeah nice born because you've picked up your shiny crystal the scenario has actually escalated Oh so based on that when we roll he died now to see where the minions are gonna be spawning in this next minion phase we respond to Rosa minions but they keep the crystal you yes you may have doomed us all and if you take damage you're gonna drop that cousin what yeah that interruption occurred though I finished my command line - I actually have to speed forward one I'm in a little trouble you now need to bring the crystal back to this base right as soon as possible because if you get hit it's gone let's start it so that that is it alright in phase everyone's ready Ford one that guys blocked blue oh that [ __ ] is dead oh yeah I want those next to me okay okay someone's gotta roll the rune die we need this direction blue wait do we now we is always best red is best but if not blues not bad either green that's not what on that Collies action oh wow they just scooted on past so Kiki oh so we don't you don't take damage now I don't take damage but unfortunately I actually kind of wanted to take damage because I would have blown up oh yeah now we are in a little bit of trouble because it's holy crap we're gonna lose oh we had to Rosa minions yeah we're in trouble here Oh - Rose we are going to instantly lose it's very possible Kevin picked up that crystal we're in a very dire situation now gasps also I need to take damage now ok well then take it in go ahead and take it damage right here because this we're only game what it's such a weird day 90 degrees Oh rotate left 90 degrees so I do that 5 oh no my speed and now roll to see what you dropped the crystal I've dropped my crystal blue right on man minion Fred see what you did trying to trim your face me yeah it's pretty fancy the entire game rides on this draft right now yeah if I get a Chain Lightning I can at least save us for one turn from losing to this guy so you need a Chain Lightning scythe is the other one that will also do alright someone want to like blow on these or something or alright you stop it oh now wait cyclotron I think might save us - yep I think cyclotron does save us now that I'm looking at it so the time oh right gonna take cyclotron I think I think that is the one that doesn't so I won't take cyclotron I'm gonna take an omni stuff I think this saves us this is great run that time John do okay I'm gonna take Tommy stop all right I'm gonna take skewer slaughter Eno all rights plug it up alright cyclotrons going over ripsaw guys and I'm stacking up cyclotron at level 2 cyclotron oh I'm gonna slot this thing over here cool I'm gonna scrap this scrap it prepare one damage put that back in the pile and I'm gonna take my one back so I ain't got a rotate unless I choose alright here we go he's gonna save the day so is it yes coquí's gonna turn 90 degrees he's gonna go he's gonna bring it back now y'all cyclotron I'm going to turn 90 degrees once again doesn't matter what direction I turn because I do damage to all enemies in a diagonal direction one space away this guy's this guy's nice he was about to touch the base yeah we good yeah we move up to three they're gonna be able to stop this guy as long as I take damage that guy's dead all right my turn now with the scythe turned 90 degrees or 180 so I'm going to turn 90 degrees this way did you kill that guy not yet oh yeah site then it doesn't damage it around me so this one's dead I'm doing something I'm helping Plus can you throw him on the board cyclotron this way 180 degrees and I shoot diagonally two spots nothing that guy's fine and then ripsaw Bank nice shot tink and push me that'd be cool and I need idea I still need to spend my dad yeah and do my damn rotation so it's right back over to me so that's the end of the turn it is now the minions turn to move forward here come a lot of minions one this guy moves one glorious this time we actually do want a roll green okay we just didn't move yet this guy goes oh I didn't even see that guy behind a mech we roll oh that's bad no it's now it's not bad so we're actually safe from from this bro right now okay what's rolling sorry that that green yeah I was up there yeah well let's see take some damage oh no moves actually get to discard this guy now if I can roll two more sixes you can do that it's possible are also theoretically speaking reorder your command line three and four oh man that sucks does it yeah okay cool move forward three spaces and turn 180 Oh slot or is that a discard not someone you have to do it for it yeah so you're not functioning right that comes in and you were to spin you around 180 spinning around 180 and then so you need a side slotting at the one that's really good because we need to kill these dudes what just happen unfortunately I am going to take some damage right now oh I get to blow up my fuel tank hey so the way this works it says if about to take damage instead of drawing a damage card you may scrap this fuel tank card stack damage to all targets in a two range and that's gonna square around me so want to this guy's dead these two guys are dead this guy's dead and this was that fuel tank damn well we just level rise yeah we we leveled up quite a bit so there's two right there two levels up to five and then this will fill it up again so that's level us up to six unfortunately my fuel tank is gone but I have I feel like I've done my part here good job so good thing you guys that electric backup tank now that also prevents the damage that you would have taken her ex there are a lot of minions on the board still what's the zone is looking particularly if I still got my own what's y'all T play before or after I execute my command line nears target in every direction in at any range max of eight I can blow them up so we're in a jabber in a drop right here one two three I need someone move I've I have no movement get ready look at that time I need like some speed there's one for you right there the Omni stamp flippin go try I'm gonna actually take I'm gonna take speed man I am really tempted by skewer I already have so much movement I'm gonna take this Omni stop yeah three obviously I am do you need it I don't know I have no well yeah I'll take in like let me stop you er Oh buzzer alright alright so this one gets discarded I'm thinking about where I'm sliding my skewer or if I'm slotting it at all and I think the answer is if I slap my spear before my speed here I can actually take out these three guys this turn but if we happen to roll a green I get really in trouble well let's keep you out of trouble I'm going to what the only way to do that is to sit not roll a green I'm gonna go to slop my speed and be able to move three spots like I've slaughtered speed which I'm gonna be able to clear these two guys here but these guys are still gonna be a problem my skewer right up here and the three side oh man I'm put mom you stop in the two slot I have chain lightning I can put it over my speed but I kind of want to get back to base I have to I have to three three movement cards already I'm gonna slot Chain Lightning over my over my speed execute one first I have to move 90 degrees oh no ninety degrees or 180 so I'm gonna turn this way ninety degrees and then speed forward to spot killing him and then ripsaw Oh doesn't move me 90 degrees I just shoot that way right I got a little minion next to me and that's it I guess I have to drop this crystal back at the base correct yeah that is what we are going to do so sight no one near me and then Omni stop the one Omni stop the two ways through one down and then bake that yeah we're gonna bake it and I'm back to play a little defense in case you need help so i am doing i was working for a second don't panic i got the rocket whoopsie but I moved forward three so to slide Oh a three and then 180 right and then I'm an only song blaze - so one and then I'm here so does that make that two all right and then um that means these dudes Bruce gets blaze plays so those Bros bro u s-- Bruce gets blazed and then and I take out I mean you got a two-level side suite clear house good job flip yeah well then we're level 70 we level seven bumping it up all right here we go I'm going to move forward one space moon for doer then I'm going to move forward two spaces using speed to stop a route this guy is dead Arino because my stuff controls I'm gonna move backwards luckily I got cyclotron gonna turn 90 degrees and then I hit everything in a diagonal range for me FAT FAT set multiple targets Oh like all diagonal targets in one range nice I am ready to pick up the crystal is that a good idea I mean I post tomorrow it escalated almost part of their exam and or will it escalate find out this is are you as escalating are we gonna survive will we get all the gems
