welcome to Young's Kitchen today we'll make homemade LA's beef [Music] jerkey let's check out the ingredients hi guys welcome to Young's Kitchen today we'll be making L's sweet beef jerky let's check out the ingredients ingredients are water sugar salt and sesame seed okay here I used 3 lbs of beef and have the butcher cut uh lengthwise we need some sesame seed half a cup cup of sugar or you can use a cup of sugar 2 tspoon of salt and 1/3 of water here I use half a cup of sugar later I'm going to use another half a cup of sugar um I use about 2 tspoon of salt 1/3 of water and of course um some sesame seed okay now you just mix everything together [Music] evenly now you throw in the sesame seed you can use as much as you like it's really up to you I'm adding in another half a cup of sugar the total is one cup of sugar and you just mix it all evenly now as you can see the color is really bright now we just put in a container C close it up and keep it in the refrigerator for 24 hours let it sit and marinade for 24 hours and this is how it looks like after 24 hours in the refrigerator the longer you keep um for marination the better it tastes and you need a dehydrator machine to make your beef jerky you can find this anywhere online okay so now um You just spread your meat evenly don't overlap as you can see I finished the trades four trades total now I am ready to dehydrate my meat and it usually takes about 3 to 4 hours ready to turn it on and you can see the difference after an hour and see some space in between the meat after 3 hours you want to see if it's ready uh it looks like it's not it looks like it's kind of dampy and wet and it's hard to pull up so that means it's not ready so I'm going to try to give it two more hours after 2 hours I'm going to check it again and see if it's ready oh looks like it's ready you should be able to pull it out easily just like that and it should look like this very thin and dry so next step uh we're going to fry the beef jerky and you heard it right we going to fry the beef jerky under oil it has an extra taste to it after you fry it up and it should cook really fast just flip it around twice and it should be done try not to burn it and there you have it delicious homemade loud sweet beef jerky straight from your [Music] kitchen hope this video helped thanks for watching for more please subscribe and like my page [Music]
