as well now it's time to get into this word i love you god bless you let's stay connected there is something just beyond powerful of coming into the awareness that you serve an undefeated god if we were serving a god who had one loss under his belt we could talk ourselves out of what's happening in our life but when we come into the awareness that god has never lost let's break that down what does that mean does that mean i always get my way no but what it does mean is because i trust god and because i'm on god's team if god is working things out in such a way that it looks like i'm on his side then it means that i can guarantee the wind connected to my position can our goal be can we make a promise tonight for activate that i'm going to make sure that i stay on the winning side that i keep my heart pure that i do the work in necessary to make sure that my spirit remains open so that i can be a valuable member of the team that god is cultivating in the earth because god has never lost a battle and if you're watching this tonight and you feel like god has maybe never lost but i certainly feel like i'm losing i want you to know that we understand but i'm telling you that you may just be at the halftime mark and there are some moments in my own life if we could have testimony service on activate where i can recognize that it feels like i'm losing god where are you in the midst of it all and then i am reminded of how i have felt like i was losing before and then i looked up and god had this way of taking what felt like a loss and turning it into a win if that's your testimony i want you to type in the chat right now i'm a winner i'm a winner i'm a winner type it in the chat i'ma win i'm gonna win this thing i'm gonna come out on the other side of this battle not because i'm going to do it in my own strength not because i will do it in my own might but because i recognize that god has gone ahead of me god is fighting this battle for me it may have caught me by surprise but it didn't catch god by surprise and i need someone to help someone make it through this season by saying i'm gonna win this thing i'm gonna win this thing because i know who is fighting for me one of the things that i love about this incredible community that we have here at one is that when we come together the way that we're coming together right now we share testimonies we share experiences and when i breathe in the knowledge that god is still doing miracles it helps me with my life my path and my journey i love activate again though because activate is just an opportunity in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of our week to take a minute and reflect and receive we have our day set aside for sunday but every now and then we need something to help get us through the week and that's what activate has been doing for me when everyone else is talking about hump day i come into thursday excited because i know our incredible team is coming together to facilitate that extra boost that i need for the season of my life that i'm in and it is with that intent that i would like to dive into what god has shared with me for tonight as it relates to what he's doing what i'm sensing what i'm experiencing and how i see him moving not just in my life but in the life of those who have been reaching out and connecting we see all of your messages we see all of your comments and we take those things just so you know what we do here we don't just like them we don't just read them we take them into prayer and we say god how can we serve them what can we do to make sure that they are having encounters with you not just on sundays and thursdays but every day of their lives every day of their week how can we connect and after i prayed god gave me this message this message is called language is power language is power and i am in acts 2 verse 3. my text begins after the disciples have experienced the resurrection and the ascension of jesus when jesus was resurrected he walked the earth still preaching still showing his body as evidence that death did not have the final say but then he ascended and when he ascended he gave his disciples very specific instructions this is in acts 1 and 8 and those instructions were but you shall receive power when the holy spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to me in jerusalem and in all judea and samaria into the end of the earth now that was where he left them waiting for power and in acts 2 and 3 we see the manifestation of what god said we see what god prophesied coming into reality okay and it begins then there appeared to them the them or the disciples divided tongues as a fire and one sat upon each of them and they were all filled with the holy spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance and there were dwelling in jerusalem jews devout men from every nation under heaven then it says then they were and when this sound occurred there came a sound from heaven like a mighty rushing wind and when this sound occurred the multitude came together and were confused because everyone heard them speak in his own language then they were all amazed and marveled saying to one another look are not all these who speak galileans and how is it that we hear each in our own language in which we were born in which we were born god you told me specifically as i was praying that there would be people watching who are undergoing a language change they're learning another language for where you are sending them sometimes they don't always feel like they have it under control or that they've missed a few things along the way god my prayer is that this message would unleash their tongue that this message would unleash the language that will carry them into where you've called them god that this very message would remove any language barrier any barrier that has kept them from tapping into the sound of heaven heaven has a sound heaven has a language heaven has a currency and i just want to prophesy that those who would receive this message would receive utterance oh god i feel your presence in this space there is a new utterance coming to you and god says that this is the launching pad this message is going to launch you into the next dimension of your language before your feet move your language is going to move before you change this city your language is going to move before you get in the relationship the language is going to move so spirit of the living god fall as only you can and when you fall god break up every language that has kept us from laying hold of where you were calling us and father asked for me i ask that you would give me the sound of heaven that this word would be a reflection of only what heaven says let there be no sarah jake's robbers and let there only be the sound of heaven i turn myself over to you god and i say have your way great god that you are and do that thing that you do when you sit in a room in jesus name i pray and then amen and amen this is your first time activating or you haven't activated in a long time i need you to type amen in the comments you got to say amen in the comments it just brings us into alignment and agreement about what this message is meant to be i was studying about language and preparation for this message and initially i was looking at language barriers and relationships because when you are dating someone or married to someone who has a different language than you there is a commitment to communication that mandates you learn the language of your spouse so that you can understand them more clearly while this is not my own experience my brother and my sister in love have two different origin languages and i marvel at how my brother is picking up portuguese and my sister is speaking english even more fluently because they are combined together with the shared common goal of having communication it was while i was doing this research though that i realized that language barrier is not just for people who have different origin languages to be honest anyone who's in a relationship with anyone has a language barrier that's why they say the most difficult thing about marriage is communication it's not that you don't have words it's just what i say is not always what you hear and what i hear is not always what you're saying there's a language barrier there's a researcher by the name of john gottman and his research reveals that 69 of marital conflict isn't resolvable now before y'all start calling divorce court listen hear me clearly just because it is not resolvable doesn't mean that there isn't a way to navigate the conflict the reason why 69 of most conflicts are unresolvable is because there is a language barrier that keeps the partners from being able to communicate properly if we take this out of the context of partnership everyone has that one family member that you just i just cause you just and i'm trying and you not trying and here we are and now i'm not trying and you want me to try because of the language barrier that exists within the relationship john gottman says that there are four most damaging communication barriers in relationships the first one is criticism criticism is when you say something like i'm really angry that you didn't sweep the kitchen floor last night we agreed we would take turns doing it you really don't care versus saying i you forgot to to sweep the floors up if you could remember next time or what can i do to help you remember next time instead of attacking a person's character you attack the thing when we become critical of the person we are in relationship with then that person automatically feels devalued because you were critical of me and not what i did the second thing is defensiveness that is the second most common damaging communication barrier and it is the one i have a phd in okay i know this isn't about me but if it was this is what i would say when i read what he said about defensiveness i felt red you know what i'm saying have you ever been reading and got read at the same time this is exactly what happened to me let me tell you what he told me okay listen here he says that a defensive person responds just here's an example their partner says you are always late and a defensive person will list all of the times they weren't late and all of the times they were on time in order to prove that what the person said wasn't true this guy says that instead what you should say is you're right today i was late and i'm sorry for that that wasn't very considerate of me i cannot imagine a world where i am accused of something and don't defend myself and this is probably why this is one of the most damaging barriers in language the last two are pretty simple and self-explanatory contempt name calling eye rolling sneering mockery the fourth one is stonewalling walking away refusing to even acknowledge that the person exists refusing to have communication at all language barriers in relationships that you have been positioned to be in marriage is somewhat optional right you choose who your partner is in most instances but what do you do when you have a language barrier with a family that you were born into with a co-worker that you cannot change what do you do when god calls you somewhere but you just don't speak the language language barriers are damaging in relationships but we should not underestimate how damaging they are to purpose because when god calls you somewhere and you know that you don't speak the language you end up stagnant when you could be effective have you ever had god call you somewhere where you don't speak the language god how could you call me into this community and i act nothing like them god how could you call me into this industry and i don't have any of the experience like the other people at the table i'm from this small town god how could you call me to this big city where i can barely figure out where i'm going god how could you call me into ministry and i don't even know how to study the way that other people study and i don't communicate the way others communicate how could you call me the business how could you call me to this promotion what do you do when god calls you somewhere and you know in advance i don't speak the language for where you're calling me to god i don't know how to be vulnerable yet you're calling me to marriage god i don't know how to express myself yet you're calling me to be open you're calling me to worship god i don't even know how to let myself in how can i open the door so that your presence can feel me god you're calling me somewhere but i have a language barrier that's keeping me from moving in the direction i should be moving in whenever i study i'm always curious about what i'm studying and what it reveals to me about the character of god as i was studying acts 1 and 8 it became increasingly clear to me that god has no problem calling us to places where we don't speak the language god doesn't care that we don't speak the language and for someone that is disappointing and perhaps disheartening but for someone else it should be liberating because if god doesn't make accidents and he called me knowing that i don't know the language then it is not my responsibility to figure out how i move in this space it's only my responsibility to stay connected with god because one thing i'm going to do is follow wherever god leads me and it takes a certain level of fortitude a certain level of resiliency to say god i'm going to move even though i don't speak the language i don't know who you are but you've been moving even though you don't speak the language and you've been feeling like an island and you've been feeling odd and like the only one in the room who doesn't fully understand what's going on and i hear god saying that that is not a sign that you are not supposed to be there that is a sign that i'm going to feel your mouth as you move that is a sign that i have a purpose language that only you can understand and when it is time i'm going to have you release what i have been tutoring you in i wish i could say it the way that i feel it but i hear god saying that if you spoke the language of everyone in the room then you couldn't change the room but because you speak a different language i called you into that room so that you can elevate the room i don't know who you are but god has called you to elevate the room and you've got to stop hating the fact that you don't speak the language of the room because if you speak the language you can't teach them but god has put a special light on you i don't know who you are but i'm looking at you right in this camera because i want you to understand that god has illuminated you he has placed a special light on you and you are set aside you are set apart you are consecrated for this moment because you have a language that they need and albeit they have a language that you need but there is a partnership that's going to happen and i hear god saying don't discount yourself don't put yourself on clearance just because you feel like you don't reach the value of everyone else in the room i hear god saying that when he finally raises you up when he finally unleashes your tongue that it's going to elevate everything connected to you i don't know if that's your word but if it's your words you better grab it if it's your word you better acknowledge that it just hits your spirit because i hear god saying that everything is going to come up everything is going to come up because you made a commitment to follow god instead of trying to stay out of the room because you didn't think you fit i don't know who you are but you have denied yourself access to rooms because you don't speak the language you have denied yourself access to ministry access to business you've denied yourself over and over again and yet god keeps calling you and i hear god saying that it's like moses and i was calling moses but moses didn't speak the language but he didn't understand that i was going to teach him the language as he go as he went what he did understand is that he had a heart to do it and god is more interested in your heart than he is interested in your language do you have the heart for the place where god has called you or do you feel like you need the language before you move why would god call us why would god call us somewhere where we don't speak the language i heard god say because the vulnerability of not speaking the language is where the partnership between the holy spirit and humanity come together holy the holy spirit and humanity meet at the cross section of vulnerability and calling and if you're vulnerable enough to say yes to the calling even if you don't have the language then the holy spirit is powerful enough to give you the language as you move if you don't believe me let's ask the disciples because they're sitting in there waiting to receive power so that they can be witnesses i love that jesus told them that if they sat and waited they would receive power oh this is so good he told them basically that you're going to go from experiencing power to receiving power that's a mentality shift that's a posture shift some people come to church because they want to experience power some people pray because they want to experience power but god says when i partner with someone i'm partnering with someone who can receive an impartation of power and he positions the disciples to receive an impartation of power because you're going to need impartation for this next dimension not just exposure exposure means you have to see it over and over again but impartation is that i have received something that i can now act out receiving power receiving power it changes everything that's why some people can hear the same message and other people need to hear it over and over again but nothing ever happens but someone receives something in the word that allows them to apply it to their life instantly and they see their life begin to change and as i was studying and praying for this message i just felt like this was going to be a word that received impartation in someone's spirit that someone was going to say this is god really implanting something down on the inside of me so that i can receive power for the call so that i can receive power for where i'm headed i don't want to just experience your power i want to receive it i don't want to just exceed what you're doing in the earth i don't want to just witness what's happening in someone else's spirituality and someone else's growth and someone else's development god i want to receive it for myself there's something powerful about someone who wants to receive i can remember oh my goodness i'mma take you back for a minute i can remember being a little girl in church and people would be praying to receive the holy spirit and anytime they would be praying to receive the holy spirit they would be sitting down at the altar and they would be rocking back and forth and sometimes they would lay out on the ground and for me it all looked a little scary and they were acting a little weird and so i never received the holy spirit because i was just experiencing it for someone else but something powerful happened to me one day with no music and no church and no audience where i got down in my closet and i finally got hungry enough to say god i want to receive the same power that i see everyone else receiving and i hear god saying that someone's most powerful prayer in this season is not just going to be god let me go see someone else's power but god let me be a recipient of the power god let me receive that same power that broke the strongholds off of their life god i don't want to just witness it anymore if that's your testimony i want you to type in the chat i receive it i receive it i receive it what do i receive i receive power for my mission i receive power for my call i receive power for what's coming next i receive power in my mind i receive power in my body what kind of power do i receive i'm talking about miracle working power i'm talking about chain breaking power i'm talking about the power that would allow generation and cursors to be broken the kind of power that changes the way you show up in the world the kind of power that changes your language it changes your language it changes the way you speak it changes the way that you prophesy and i hear god saying that there's power coming to your mouth i hear god saying that there is a transformation that's about to take place and when it takes place it's going to change the way you speak language is power language unlocks heaven's resources language unlocks man's ability and i hear god saying that in this year in this season that the shift is not finished but we are about to step into the settling of what's taken place in the earth and only those who have the language to step into it will understand how they are to respond in this moment language language is power and jesus recognizes that though he has called them that they have to assume a posture that makes them ready to receive the power that will allow them to walk out the call let's talk about where we find them in acts two and three remember the sequence acts one and eight says and you shall receive power and then you will become witnesses power and then witnesses power is going to come to you and once the power comes you're going to change that you're going to witness you're going to speak differently and so when we find them in acts 2 and 3 they're waiting they've been waiting on something do you know how powerful it is to wait but stay focused on what you're waiting on you see some of us wait but we lose focus in the waiting room we start to forget while we were in the waiting room in the first place but god said these disciples were so hungry for the call they were so hungry for the power they were so hungry to be witnesses of what jesus did on the earth that they didn't lose focus when waiting and i want you to know that your focus is coming back i want you to recognize that you may still be in the waiting room and somewhere along the way you may have lost your focus but i hear god saying that your focus is coming back and when your focus comes back you're going to recognize what it is when it shows up when you're in the waiting room and you forget what you're waiting for you can hear a sound like a mighty rushing wind and not even be able to connect the dots but when you wait with focus when you wait with intentionality when you know what you're waiting for you recognize what it is when it walks in the room that sounds like power just walked into the room you'll start hearing your child start saying crazy things like i've been waiting for you to get a touch from god i've been waiting for this person to have a change of heart i've been waiting for that partner to turn around and i recognize when it happened because i was focused on what i'm praying for some of you pray and forget what you prayed for you need to start praying and write down what you prayed for so that you can go back to that list and see how god responded to your prayers the disciples were waiting with focus waiting with expectation god i'm waiting because i know that you are not a man that you would lie and you told me to wait for power to come and i don't know who you are but god told you some time ago that if you wait for power that power would come and somewhere in the recesses of your mind you feel like you have been waiting but i hear god saying that if you would return to focus you will see that the power has been there all along and all you're going to have to do is grab it i don't know whose testimony that is but i hear god saying that you got more power within reach than you realize and now it's time for you to stretch so that you can lay hold of it you got more power to change than you realize you got more power to move than you realize i hear god saying that you are at this point stagnant by choice not because you don't have the power it's just because you haven't tuned in long enough to be focused on where you have power to move god says i'm giving you power to do the deal yourself god says i'm giving you power to build the structure yourself and i know you wish you had help and i know you wish someone else would come along but i hear god saying you don't need any of that when you have power you don't need anyone to teach you when you have power you don't need anyone to give you anything when you have power the power that i give man couldn't hustle up on it the power that i give man couldn't give you if they tried love can't do it family can't do it this is the kind of power that can only come from heaven and this kind of power doesn't care what you're trained for it doesn't care what city you're from it doesn't care what you've gone through before you got in the room this kind of power will stand up so strong on you that it changes everything connected to you and i hear god saying that there is fresh power coming again that don't let the year go out without you laying hold of the power connected to this year there's a new blessing a new dimension a new anointing a fresh outpouring coming a fresh outpouring of power it's coming it's coming and it's going to change your language and i feel like right now that i'm breaking down someone's walls and i feel like right now i'm changing someone's language and i feel like god is laying the foundation because i feel like there is a sound coming to your house there is a sound coming to your car there is a sound coming to this room and when that sound comes it's going to change the way you speak i want to prophesy that before this message is over that somebody's language is going to change and recognize that this is not replacing the language that you had before this is changing the language i hear god saying someone's going to be bilingual i'm going to know how to fit in here and i'm going to know how to fit in there and i didn't have to read a book to do it but the holy spirit made me sensitive the holy spirit gave me tongues i shouldn't have it gave me knowledge i shouldn't have it gave me creativity i shouldn't have and if that's you you better open up your mouth and receive it you better open up your mouth and receive it because i hear god saying that i'll pour it out to whoever's hungry i'll pour it out to whoever's empty i'll pour it out to whoever's waiting for it and looking for it and expecting it god there are some things i am expecting in my life and they are not things that i promised myself they are things that you promised me god you gave me an expectation for this ministry god you gave me an expectation for this idea i didn't come up with this idea on my own you called me to this idea called me out of my comfort zone called me out of my city to make it happen and now i'm sitting here and i'm waiting for the power to fall and power is falling i came here to let you know that power is falling again don't let the news fool you power is falling don't let the headlines fool you power is falling power there is revival coming and revival is going to come to your house first it's going to come to your spirit first and when it comes to your spirit it's going to change your language what is she doing prophesying after all she's been through i guess the power hitter what is she doing creating after all she went through i guess the power hit her what is she doing moving again i guess the power the power the power the power makes the difference the power is what gives you confidence the power is what allows you to go into any city into any room confident about who you are this is the kind of thing that man cannot give you this kind of power comes from waiting with expectation and my bible tells me that when the power fell that everyone got their own language because you got to be careful who you're waiting with not everyone can understand what you're waiting on but if you would get just one person who could touch and agree they're probably in the comments section right now who could touch and agree with you oh god this is someone's assignment i need you to open up your mouth and give voice to what god has called you to do and to ask someone who has power to act someone who has anointing to touch and agree with you about what you are experiencing and what you are expecting heaven to do on your behalf see this is old school we don't do this anymore because we like to keep things to ourselves but there is something powerful about saying if two or three could come together into agreement about what is any about anything concerning me then i'm gonna be there and i hear god saying that what you need now more than anything is to finally speak it release your mouth release your mouth let it go let it go it's time for you to start talking the talk you've been thinking it but it's time for you to start talking the talk you are a man of god you are a woman of god you will experience breakthrough you are coming out of this there will be deliverance unleash your mouth devil i rebuke you hell's got to let go of your tongue depression has to let go of your hung i may be feeling depressed but i am not depression i may be feeling anxious but i am not anxiety it's got to let go of my mouth who am i i am the righteousness of jesus christ i am who the son has set free and i am free indeed and what i am going through will not change my language i got to stay focused on who i am i got to stay focused on what i've been called to say i've got a mission in the earth and the pandemic may have slowed me down but it didn't change my language you can still speak like that do you remember when you used to speak it and not just think it do you remember before failure hit before rejection took place and you used to speak it and you want that back i hear god saying speak it speak it speak it the power of life and death is in the tongue speaking i'm coming out of this speaking my child is going to be safe speaking my marriage is going to be saved speaking this ministry is going to go into all of the earth speaking speak it speak it speak it god i'm called speaking i am anointed speaking i am appointed speak it my joy is coming back speak it i won't commit suicide speak it i won't allow depression to have the final say speaking my mother will be saved i mean start talking crazy to your situation i speak it over my life i speak it over dry bones i speak it over situations that don't look like they could ever be changed but i'm speaking it because i want my mouth to align with what's in my heart and what's in my heart is breakthrough god what's in my heart is revival god and i don't want to just marinate it on it by myself i want to put it out into the atmosphere so that it can take root so that it can produce fruit the disciples are in a room with other people who are waiting for the same things and when power falls each of them have a different language this is the best way to avoid jealousy and any friendship is when you recognize that i don't speak your language but i got power too and i recognize the power that's on you so i don't even have to be jealous because i got power too jealousy is a result of thinking that you don't have the power either but when god allows the holy spirit to fall in this room with the disciples he allows each of them to be gifted with a different language and there was no room for jealousy because everyone was confident in what they carry i don't have to have the same power that you do to honor that you've got power nor do i have to allow it to diminish what god has given me when i was studying for this message i was asking god what's happening what are you doing in the earth and what is our response supposed to be i recognize that the most beautiful part of just this portion of the text and the whole book of acts is so powerful but the most beautiful part about this text is when the other jews who were in the city came close to what was happening with the disciples and each of them were able to identify that they were speaking the language of their origin place that means that the jews that were from africa came and said you're speaking my dialect how how could this happen and then they marveled what i recognized is that god sent confirmation before there was dissemination when the language came and each of them were speaking their own tongues there could have been a moment if they were human like you and i but they said we all crazy something's happened with all of us and we're all wrong but god allowed for there to be confirmation before they disseminated into all of the earth why because before god changes your location he gives you confirmation that you have the language for it before i send you out any further i want you to recognize that you have been equipped with the language for where you are headed i don't know why god gave me this message but i do have a guess and all of us right we just prophesy in part but my guess is this there is another dissemination coming and those who speak the language of what god is doing of what jesus has done of what the holy spirit is actively doing in the earth are going to be disseminated into all of the earth and when that dissemination occurs if we are not careful we will allow our insecurity or the fact that we don't speak it fluently or we haven't been trained properly to make us keep our mouth shut rendering not just you ineffective but the holy spirit ineffective at what it has decided to do through you if you make this about you you're going to miss it you're going to miss what god wants to do through you the language is not about building you up the call the dissemination is not about building you up it's about invading territory for god and yes you've got a language barrier and no you haven't been trained the way other people have been trained but you my friend have been called and calling trump's training every day did you hear me calling trump's history every day i may not have the history but i got the call i may not have the finances but i got the call god believes that the call should be enough do you do you still believe that it is enough to be called do you still believe that god can give you language or do you think you're limited to your resources your resources are nothing compared to what god has in store and so we have to make a decision tonight activate that we will allow this sequence of the call to play out god i feel you what god calls us to has a sequence and we don't get to just go out into all of the earth without waiting for the power that releases us and when the power releases us it gives us language if you don't have the language it's either not for you or you're not you don't have the power for it yet god you've called me of this i'm sure how do you know when god calls you i'm glad you asked because when god calls you he places something on your heart that is not even organic to the way that you think i don't even think like a preacher i don't even have that one even who no god no no but you called me you called me before i could even prepare you called me before i even had language god you catapulted me before i could even get my feet up underneath me god why did you call me god give me the language when you call me if i can make it personal god gives me language when i speak to you i study i pray but what happens in this moment is a result of god giving me language on the spot the power falls in the language comes if this is true for me how much more true will it be for you when god calls you to write that script when god calls you to create that business plan when god calls you to raise that family the most powerful thing you can do is wait like you are expecting the power to fall i'm creating time on my calendar so that the power has time to fall time where i don't do anything but wait for the power to fall i'm being intentional about having intimacy in my relationships because i'm believing the power's gonna fall and break the strongholds are you praying and moving or have you prayed and waited for the power to meet your prayers enough with the busybody prayers where i pray and do what i want to do anyway god i'm going to pray and then i'm going to set aside time to wait with expectation that you were going to answer this prayer and when you pray make sure that you aren't praying a selfish prayer but instead pray according to what god has said if you don't know what god says regarding your situation it's somewhere in the bible i promise god i'm waiting for my healing what do you say about healing okay god if you say that i'm healed i'm going to set aside time to pray and then i'm going to wait with expectation for my healing and i'm not going to put guidelines on what that healing needs to look like because healing may look like staying healing may look like walking away healing may look like moving god i'm not going to pray for my will and your will at the same time i'm just going to pray that you give me language for wherever you call me to if that means i'm building on my own god give me language if i'm building with people who don't get me god give me language language that reflects you because my text tells me in verse 8 that when they received language that they marveled and were amazed because they recognized that what happened in that moment could not have just happened for themselves or by themselves but that something beyond them must have taken place when you open your mouth it will be evidence that you have received a language from heaven that is your heavenly language i want to pray with you i want to pray over what's holding your tongue fear impostor syndrome inadequacy let's be honest what's holding your tongue what's keeping you from saying i'm going to be faithful what's keeping you from saying i can do this i can be a good father what's keeping you from saying i'm delivered fear of going back what is it be honest because whatever is holding your tongue you're giving power to it and there is something beautiful about speaking it speaking where you're headed oh god isn't that what happens to the disciples after all they start speaking the language for where they're headed not where they are before their feet even set foot in new territory god gave them language for where they are now you don't have to arrive to change your language but changing your language makes you hungry for where you're headed when i finally finish learning that language i actually want to go visit the place so i can use the language that i picked up before i even got there that's what's going to happen to you spiritually that as you begin to change your language it's going to make you hungry to start moving in the direction of where they only speak that language worth value spirituality being filled with the holy spirit for real walking with integrity i'm gonna allow my mouth to lead me to where the life that god has promised me is located so my prayer for you is that the holy spirit would pry your tongue away from that fear away from that darkness away from that weapon whatever's holding your tongue is a weapon it is a threat against your destiny i'm going to pray that god would release it because i already know that that's what god wants to do god here we are offering our body as a living sacrifice god so many things holding us back holding our tongue keeping us from speaking with confidence speaking with believability speaking with faith that it's actually possible and yet god we're going to whisper it even when we can't yell it god we're going to utter it even if we aren't ready to proclaim it because we recognize that there is power in us simply opening our mouths god we receive the power connected to our language power to lift us up and give us more life or power to destroy us but tonight we have made a decision that we will only speak that which adds to us we will only speak that which continues to give us life god i speak life over their blessings god i speak life over their bodies god i speak life over their minds i speak life over their confidence i speak life over their destiny and i rebuke every principality i rebuke every generational curse i rebuke every memory that's making them hold back and i release it right now in the name of jesus god released their prophetic language god released their ability to speak life over themselves not their life god but your life for them not their power but your power working through them of god i ask that their mouths would come into alignment with what god says about them god help my mouth to reflect what you say about me i am whole i am worthy i am valuable god i come into agreement with you and when i come into agreement god i bring with you my brothers and my sisters who are also in need of great breakthrough in power god we receive this word we receive it in our soul we receive it in our mind but most importantly we receive it in the way that we speak god when those negative thoughts when those defeating thoughts dare to escape our lips god help us to replace them immediately with your truth and your power god thank you that you're going to fill our mouths you're going to order our steps and you're going to give us the ability to lead a generation with them god i just pray for grace for strategy and for courage for where they're headed only you know but it is predestined and god i pray that you would continue to send confirmation that you're calling them even when they don't feel equipped and then help them to see that you're equipping them as you move them in jesus name i pray amen and amen and can family my language is changing and i want to invite you on a journey to allow your language to be changed too it's very simple it's just coming into agreement with what god says can i give you some homework some activate homework i want you to find a new scripture and i want you to take that scripture and i want you to speak it literally speak it over your life every day for the next seven days and anytime you begin to get a thought that is counter what god says or it feels like you're holding back because you don't want to walk in the fullness of what god is speaking to you i want you to speak that scripture over your life family i love you i love you so much and we're growing together we're changing together that's what we do here at one we're family and because we are one we leave no one behind we're wrapping our arms around you always love you we'll see you
