Komrad 12 Kalashnikov USA at Atlantic Firearms

today we're taking a look at some kusa or Kalashnikov USA offerings one of the newest offerings out is the comrade 12 that you see here that Matt's got decked out clash took off USA has been out of the market for probably three or four years but we've just finally started to see their products really getting out on the market about a year year and a half ago they came out with aks 12 series that you see here it's pretty similar to the Russian Saiga 12 style shotgun but it is made in the USA we've been very pleased with these customers have been extremely happy I've got a lot of clients or used them for three gun matches and actually come back and sometimes will even buy a second one real good copy of the Sega 12 again takes detachable magazines real cool gun earlier this year they came out with the ever-so-popular kp9 pistol and rifle which is a 50 oz copy shoots the nine-millimeter round super hot extremely fun to shoot and real popular now they've released the comrade 12 that you see here we were fortunate enough to get the first couple that came off the assembly line so that we could start testing them and giving our friends at kusa feedback on what we thought about the shotguns so Matt's gonna tell you a little bit more about them now you guys have been real happy with this offering so far and the other stuff we've received from kusa fit and finish on all their products has been really nice and we see that with the shotgun the nine and now with the comrade this comrade is really a little brother to the big brother Kay s12 where this is considered and classified as a firearm and not as a shotgun does still expel shot shells uses two and three-quarter three-inch shells just like the KS 12 this has a tri railed handguard here in the front vertical pistol grip these are our standard features on this gun it is semi-automatic operation and these do like a higher ah city shell with the shorter system here they also do come with the ESPE a three brace her go grip and this is all hundred-percent made in the USA this particular one we have outfitted with the j-mac our d4 c12 muzzle device on it and it just looks really nice and also does a very effective job of keeping the muzzle down there is also an adjustable gas system like you'll find on the other sake of 12s the KS 12 and others like that this does also have an MD arms drum in it these are 20 round drums we sell the drums we saw the breaks and now we also have these firearms available on the website you guys definitely check that stuff out some of the other stuff that these come with from the factory you can see this displayed below is these interchangeable backstraps for the grep comes with two five round mags hardcase and the other features that we mentioned this is standard configuration here below yep so we've been real pleased with KSA's product and their customer service has been outstanding probably some of the best customer service when the customer is needed to use it they've been on point about respondents of the customers and getting things squared away it's been very infrequent one other thing that I'll say new from the machining of the parts and the construction on all of the guns probably some of the nicer ones that I think that we've seen based product so that's not trying to sell you something or sell the product that's just basically telling you the truth with it we're really excited about what they've been offering thus far we have been speaking with them about some of other projects that they've got on the books no real details at this point but I think we're gonna see some exciting things as we go into the end of 2019 and into 2020 so we're real excited to be working with them and on the forefront of trying to give them shoots a 12-gauge shotgun shell is very similar to the K us aks 12 shotgun which is out which is very similar to the isthmus Saiga 12 shotgun all these are semiautomatic shotguns this does have a tri rail setup here you can remove these rails if you like adjustable gas system forward grip comes with it comes with two five round mags has this SB a three adjustable brace on the back it also has a optic rail on the side ergo grip and this is all made in USA great little gun we've been testing a little bit had a lot of fun with it you guys can see what it's all about we also have AJ Mac RR d4 c12 on the front helping reduce muzzle rise and it just looks really bad so we're gonna go ahead and run this thing you guys this is the MD Armstrong made for the second row of shotgun [Music] man Have had a number of diverse firearms in the past when they weren't an issue. Fav was a 44 magnum single-action peacemaker with gunslinger belt. Never fired them much or kept any. Just liked getting them because it feels right having them. Sold them when I had kids and lived in the city. Now I think we are SUPPOSED to have them and Cali AG wouldn't release a tactical 12 Ga. to me and never told me why regardless of a law to the contrary. Didn't want to spend hundreds more for a special background check and even more for a lawyer. It seemed akin to the phrase "frustrated into non-compliance.

It's interesting how the receiver, receiver cover and fire selector retain the original look of the AK47. I guess that's what makes it a Kalashnikov! I miss my old Type56. Even though it was Chinese made it was a fun and reliable assault rifle. Gave them up between marriages as I thought it might scare the ladies although my wife now says she wish I still had the arsenal. Would have had to given them up by law now though.
