Kirby and the Forgotten Land: 2-Player/ BRO AND SIS!! *PART 1!*

today we play Kirby and the Forgotten land with my sister this is her first time ever playing this game she's never seen this game before and one of the most engaging and fun parts of this game is actually the speedrun levels where you have to complete a task quickly and we take turns doing those levels to see who is the better gamer thank you so much for watching and I really hope you enjoyed this video have you ever seen any footage of this game before or trailers or anything no I don't think so do you want to be player one cuz player one gets to be Kirby so you can actually swallow people and use their abilities player two is just a w d you're this little guy like Kirby but you have a spear yeah I want to be Kirby okay so here's the intro to the game do you know what that star was no it's called Planet Pop Star it's where Kirby lives so that's Kirby right there you know who Kirby is right yes where do you know Kirby from Super Smash Bros yeah yeah that's where we first saw Kirby it's Super Smash Bros it's funny that we didn't see Kirby from actual Kirby games we first heard about Kirby from Super Smash Bros what do you think of Kirby if you could describe Kirby in one word what would it be egg Oh I thought you'd say cute I was going to say pink cute egg oh that's three words though yeah you just said egg oh look there's a big storm happening here now what do you think is going to happen do you think that's good or bad that the storm is happening not good something's going to happen to his world yeah look all the cubes and every oh his eyes so funny there Kirby is such an adorable character it's so funny smash brose is such a fun game a lot of people are saying that we should play Smash Rose we should play some smash Rose oh look that's w over there so we were saying you want to be player one because you want to be able to play as Kirby since this is your first time playing this game uh as Kirby you could swallow enemies and get cool abilities but I think the w d just has a spear so yeah you'll get to oh oh and the car you don't even know what's special about that car did you see the car in the background no I missed it oh there are so many cool references in the intro over there you'll see when we play you'll see what happens that's actually so cool that you've never seen any of this stuff before and now look at this you're waking up on a beach that's you do I have to jump up uh not yet wait for the cut scene to finish the cut scene is about to finish and then the game will start so look there we go you wake up on a beach got sand all over you it's a nice looking Place yeah wow yeah cool start to the game isn't it is the whole game like this what do you mean like this like with really cool graphics and stuff the graphics are a bit better in the cut scenes okay wait pause it oh you can't do co-op yet can you press a does it work oh it can't be changed right now okay so just go up and pick continue so at a certain point of the game it'll say you can now play co-op and then I'll be able to join yeah so B is swallow so for now just run on up I'll tell you where to go okay oh yeah and if you walk into those you get a coin just collect these coins I don't know how important it is but yeah just jump up to that yeah and you can fly a certain number of times if you keep tapping jump just keep tapping jump go up there to that thing the shiny spot this is so cool I love being curvy yeah isn't it so cool to be curvy I like that is um you can explore actually because Super Smash Bros you're just on yeah it's two right 2D yeah so you can swallow that and then spit it out Isn't that cool wow yeah now look at the bottom right I can't remember if there's something there or not go to the bottom right yeah just get those flowers there now is that your friend oh you didn't swallow him I want to try swallowing him where'd he go it's over there I got him yeah now you can spit him out at the Block oh that cherry thing I think it just heals you you made it to a checkpoint good job I wonder where your character is yeah I'm I should be joining you soon oh isn't this so cool does this remind you of anything oh wait you haven't played through Super Mario Odyssey yet no I haven't yeah oh we've got to do two player your Super Mario Odyssey that would be so cool oh wait spit out whatever you have spit it out to the side oh no you could have swallowed the sword guy to get the sword ability oh wa go swallow him now he came back go swallow him why are you flying for swallow him there we go finally I look like link yeah now careful cuz when you get hit I think you actually lose your ability you might be able to still get it back though oh it's so funny watching you play you're such a noob at how am I a noob because the way that you're moving is so weird the way that you're attacking well I'm learning how to play yeah yeah you're still learning but it's funny because when we play something like we party you or if we play Mario Party G pound you can't ground pound there's there's no way there's no such [Laughter] [Music] thing yeah so go up there now yeah good uh I don't think you need that cuz that just heals you you're at full health so that doesn't matter there you go just make it on up how are you liking the game so far oh you can also get the bomb guy there or you can keep the sword ability what would you rather have um I like the sword okay then you could just do that then you know maybe I'll swallow him okay but uh you have to drop your ability first hold y oh no you uh defeated him well he'll probably come back in a moment yeah he's coming back now or you can just get the next one hold y to spit out your ability hold Y no hold y get rid of your ability first hold y there now you dropped it now you can go swallow someone else or you can press them go swallow him how how do I do this B B B is swallow there we go I got him yeah now you can press the button to do uh bombs instead of sword oh awesome yeah and you can aim with them too so you can go put one near that guy go throw another bum at that one go throw a bum throw a bum closer at him there there we go yeah and be on the lookout for things that you might want to collect is there anything you want to collect here um coins and I want to get this guy maybe he'll drop something doesn't that look like a gyroid from animaling it does yeah get this guy get him when he walks by looks like maybe you want the sword ability now yeah there we go you got him yay we got check if there's anything down there what's this oh it's a bomb yeah break the crate nothing's down there no no yeah break the crate nice yeah so you healed up a bit wait hit start or plus oh still no coop okay keep going then oh something cool is going to happen here oh that's cool that thing just rolled down yeah ha I like that oh some of the bosses in this game are super hard I wonder what two players is going to be like yeah so go through that door of course ah you're playing with that you have almost 50 coins do I get a one up when I get 99 oh I don't remember how it works I don't remember what those do oh but this is a cool cut scene look at that see the car yeah oh cute yeah and look what's there they're enemies they're not friends aren't the graphics so good you can see all the little fur on the guys they are Kirby seems like a really fun game yeah now Watch What Happens Kirby swallows them all up uh but look uh-oh what do you think is going to happen is going swallow the car yeah this is in the trailer a lot of people really like this it's so cool this is something new what are these called I can't remember what the name of it is but there are things like this that you could capture that are really big so now look what happens this have a car this is you're the car yeah I love this wow yes they have a turbo Dash and a jump wait pause again let me see if I can join yet wow I still can't join when am I going to be allowed to join never yeah so you want to go and break the thing up there yeah you're just like destroying everything while you play Just exploring yeah there you go Kirby breaks through yeah there's never been a Kirby controlling a big car like that before this is new to this game game yeah so go up there oh well you don't have to go up there go to the right go to the right you don't have to break those okay fine just break them break that straight go straight see the cracked part oh and don't fall off make sure to not fall off cuz I think that maybe you get some extra Wadd D if you don't fall off what's a Wadd D oh uh they're the things that you want to collect and it's also the thing that I am jump and now you have to go around don't fall off though don't fall off it looked like that fence was Secure don't fall off keep looking like you're going to fall off yeah now go up there collect those things where shall we go uh you want to go up that way of course okay yeah and I think you like that you get to control this cuz if uh I was controlling this you'd probably really want to play yeah this is your first time playing this game so you get to see it so there you go what's going to hen I'm going to build a highway here quickly no the it just comes down for you now you get to ride across don't hit plus don't skip the cut scene I think you want to see the cut scenes it's nice now there's some music playing Kirby games have really good music too A lot of the music that I associate with Super Smash Bros is often the Kirby music oh look nice singing over you what language is that on the bottom though I don't know if that's a real language or not though I don't think so I've never seen writing like that yeah I haven't seen anything like that before I think that it might have been made specifically for this game maybe it's the language of the Forgotten land whatever that is what a great production so maybe now after this you'll be able to join me yeah hopefully now I'll be able to join because I know that it's some point around now that I am allowed to join I don't know if you have to save the first WD D before I'm allowed to join or if it's now oh look at that how cute is that so awesome the Kirby car yeah and there's a sleeping doggy over there wakes up what are those doggies called do you know what they're called I'm not sure sheas oh oh I don't know I meant if you knew what they're called in the game I don't if it's like a specific Kirby enemy I'm not sure I never played this game before yeah I have beaten this game I haven't 100% completed it my file is at 80% so I'm done more of the game than I thought that I was done because there's a final boss and then after there's like a secret final boss Kirby games they very often have lots of secret Final Bosses and hidden bosses how laboratory Inc do you recognize that yeah I've seen that before from some Mario game I think right or was it Zelda Pokemon snap oh Pokémon Snap there we go yeah and also bunch of other games too yeah but that's cool that they're still around oh look at that that's a w d so maybe that's me you have to go save the w d look there go the Wadd D's maybe when I save you you will be able to be a waddle D well yeah yeah I will be able to hopefully it's after you save me yeah do I turn into a regular Kirby now uh well you have to spit out this you can also hit minus wait hit hit plus see if I can join yet I still can't join okay so I think you have to go and beat a mini boss and then I'll I'll be allowed to join so just go up there are you ready yes I am okay I think I'll finally be allowed to join after this cut seene that's so surprising that Co-op it only lets you play co-op from a certain point over here not from the very beginning that's actually so surprising look out oh that's me I'm the w d look I got caught in the cage now look the cage see how the bottom was empty see how there is a hole how do I get carried out why didn't I just Escape From the Bottom now did you notice that the bottom had that yeah is that F oh and this is Alin it's kind of like an elephant this one's so cute I want to be this one yeah isn't it kind of like a Pokemon doesn't it look like a Pokemon it's like a bunny hopefully you could save it oh that's a very big one that's a very big one yep that's a really big cage yeah lots of room and there we are looks like you know what you have to do now I think I have to fight these guys yeah just throw a bomb at them throw it from far no no no no no you're pressing the drop ability button okay there you go you took them both out together now be careful be careful do it without taking damage I wasn't taking damage was I yeah no you weren't not yet try and do the whole boss without taking any damage oh you can do it you can do it where is it going it's it's so bad and maybe now you'll unlock me are do you think that it'll run away when you get close to it oh there we go I just had to go to it yeah isn't this such a nice them that plays very nice music yeah so that's you or not yet not yet maybe now it'll say I can join pH you saved me thank you but what about those other guys the W Dees they were all captured and taken away we fought those Beast as hard as we could but they kept coming back from more now I'm the only one left left you could press say a bit earlier I have to go save them I have to wait am I I move or no do you want to try yeah I can't move you can't move I throw you in the water if you behave okay it's like Super Mario 3D World okay so there are uh hidden WD D's that we could get over here we get uh one or three for clearing the stage then there are three hidden wad D's and each level has special achievements like if you eat all of the donuts or do this section without taking damage or do this section without falling off then you get extra W's W's are like a green stars okay let's go come on I'm up here already here I'll take this guy out for you I've never played as this WD D before oh boy oh boy it's so hard when you're far ahead it's kind of hard to see what's going on oh wait wait wait look we need these tulips cuz see when we get these make five tulips Bloom so be on the lookout for the Two Lips I thought you're going to try to swallow what do I do with this uh I already got it oh I keep dropping this yeah why are you doing that I'm the controls yeah you got to get used to the controls you can also swallow this guy if you want the cutter ability he that okay well you got to swallow him not just walk into him I think you'll get better at this game as we play more of it yeah but we got to be on the lookout this better I like you like that one more wait come here to the left is there something here oh no it's just a sleeping doggy don't hurt the doggy well they're enemies you have to a yeah oh and look look look there's a switch to press over here you want to press it or should I no you can come and press it y I'll uh I'll get the cake though okay wait I don't know if I could give you any food wait come here can I give you some or no come here oh no I can't okay let's go on up let's go and hold on there's a wait wait there's a tulip somewhere around here is it down here I thought there was one down here yeah is that it or no that's just something else okay they're so cute I like this game a lot yeah I like that we can play together yeah yeah it's pretty cool how you can play together oh swallow this I turned into vending machine oh wait don't shoot too much cuz look you only have 97 shots come here look there's something here to shoot you can break these I'm pretty sure yeah see how you can break those yeah and uh you can also defeat the enemies quite easily a lot of these boxes you can break by just walking into them yeah yeah now destroy these cuz uh we got to be on the lookout for the Tulips wait where am I oh I'm up here you see this uh Crack part here mhm yeah go through go through there of course just keep shooting at it till it breaks takes a few shots and now we can head on up I'm too big to go up so I have to get rid of this yeah yeah you have to spit it up yeah now come on up now look there's a Kinder surprise toy yay I got it C's like in the background yeah now we want to go down this way but wait did we really get all the Tulips oh watch out for this guy did w oh I was going to attack him but you're running away uh we didn't miss any tulips did we I don't know I guess we'll find out hopefully we're getting them all okay so these Stars that's not the end of the level it just takes you to the next part of the level okay cool that would have been a way too short level this is super cool of scene what you get to see when you go from part to part but it's too bad that you can't go and explore those places there actually yeah it would be nice uh this would be a really fun game to why are you going up that way you lost your ability wow you could have sucked it back up though oh where'd it go oh here it is yeah it's over there still okay you still got to get it back y yeah okay come on over here here I'll knock this down so you can go and get those coins now where I'll get them then no I'll get it oh oh and look at this you see how these are shining mouthful mode that's what it's called yeah there's a Pon like that at the intro to okay now come you can jump up and then ground pound now you can ground pound so come ground pound these so you can break these that's cool I like that yeah and you should be able to ground pound on these enemies and uh you can also break these blocks wow I'm like Invincible yeah yeah M mode is really good yeah cool how you can get through there isn't it yeah so this might seem a bit easy right now but it definitely gets more difficult as the game goes on right now it's just like you're learning the controls watch out I just oh I'm the same color as the little doggy so sometimes it's even hard to tell who you are wait there wasn't something here to the left was there uh let's go [Music] check yeah see there's a tulip up there oh there we go nice yeah so that's two out of five but I think we might have missed some of the earlier ones oh yeah those can't Grand pound in the same spot Jump Then Grand pound okay I see yeah okay let's go yay I think we're at full health oh there's a boss fight coming up soon yeah you have to spit that out of course to climb the ladder or do we just get to collect it so this is our first mini boss I think oh and you get to choose what power up you want what do you want that's the same one that you have cutter okay I swallow him right before he disappeared you're lucky I got the w d though nice when uh when easy speezy was doing this uh with his brother they were racing to see who could collect the most w d they're keeping track of who collected how many that sounds like competitive sport yeah look I'm already ahead of you I'm going to come up here I think I like how far ahead I am oh wait but you actually have to come up here co wait the coins don't matter Wadd D are all that matter coins don't matter just leave the coins coins do nothing oh but what's that way to the left well let's come up here first W I didn't see that I thought that was you I'm up here swallow that ha now spin around awesome wow I'll get the w d though oh come on okay so I got two so far in this level who do you think is going to get the third one oh look do you see something special about this guy anything up here look at this ah do you see this up here um ground oh we have to ground pound here with that uh cone you tied me so now I have four and you have three how do you have four oh the very first one but I wasn't even there so does that count yeah so we didn't get the five tulips we only got three of them oh we should have went back to uh we should have explored more yeah no but that's okay cuz you don't need a lot of WD to beat the game this reminds me of Super Smash BRS when you get the trophies oh yeah that's right hit a that's a cool Kirby what's your favorite ability so far um I like the cone wait was that mushroom called cppy I missed it I think the mushroom was called Cappy Cappy is the name of your hat in Super Mario Odyssey we should play that one next yeah cuz Mario Odyssey normally doesn't have multiplayer it's been uh fan-made they made a fan-made multiplayer mod which is unbelievably good wow people really like that game yeah do you want to play more of this now or no yeah yeah I like this this is exciting okay let's go one more time okay next level oh through the tunnel this is a fun one which one's your favorite from Kirby which one what which ability uh yeah we just played through the first minute or so of this level but I realized that we weren't recording now we have to redo this oh wait look you already have the fire ability that's why yeah yeah so you're saying that the fire ability is probably your favorite one now because you can jump and dash like that that's so quick yeah okay so we know that we don't have to go to the side so just go straight for now and we know where one of the wle D are now you know that you have to do mouth full mode on that big spinny thing and then we have to go to the left yeah look you're so fast I keep being teleported over to you don't forget which one you are now because there are a few Fireball things so don't mess up with which one you are come on we got to go fast here I'll try and get this guy out of your way oh you can just dive through him anyways spin around hit the button which button or I'll hit the button there we go we hit the button now we can come through here and let's see who's going to get it who's going to get the w d I still got it this is my favorite ability for sure I have to learn how to use it better yeah yeah you get to go nice and fast okay come on out come on out are there roses in this level too uh no well maybe there are but it's not one of the objectives hold on I don't know if you get anything for beating those guys I'm guessing no though let's just keep going let's see I'm taking a look at our HP your HP is kind of low you're at almost half Health uh-oh yeah so uh be careful don't just here I'll eat some meat okay oh just come on up here not die I thought that was you no I'm up here I'm at the very top I just went through the door you're the fire guy look you're on fire I just have a blue bandana and you have the p one above your head I have the P2 above my head oh and hold on there I think there is a w d somewhere around here do we have to come up here wait here wait here wait wait wait I have to light this lamp oh yeah I think you have to light that and then is this going to come down now cuz look there's something here there's definitely a way that we have to get here oh yeah hit the [Music] switch ah I got teleported up to you I wanted to grab the wad D quickly oh wait that isn't even a Wadd d That's just that all right now we can come on up and you can only float a certain number of times I think I don't think you can float infinitely in this game yeah oh you're actually healing yourself stop it oh this is so annoying so annoying when you get damaged in this game there we go oh my gosh so far this is such an incredibly easy game oh boy it's so annoying that if you want to go somewhere and your partner is behind you then you just have to wait for them what do you mean yeah when you're floating you go really slow yeah yeah you do that's why you don't really want to float a lot you left your ability behind a cute little come on over oh wait wait there's something else to do here because look these blocks aren't gone so there's something else that we have to activate maybe up here or up there yeah go through there oh yeah right there there's a bomb hit the bomb hit the bomb block oh yeah I got a you know where all them are well I was assuming that there would be something back there who gets to go through the door egg over there oh I didn't see you want to go back no okay okay and another ability that you could use oh wait light the Rope on fire okay you already did now see how this is on fire see how the Rope is going yeah oh let's get into the Cannon and what's going to happen is it funny how they're just sitting there and oh who's going to get it oh you had to jump I still got it funny how he said the same thing yeah you still got it yeah maybe you can go through the door first there you go you get to do that I don't care about going through the door first yeah shouldn't you be faster than me well I never played this game before so I'm still learning the controls yeah well you know A and B lets you go faster oh look at this no no get off of it why cuz look this is mouthful mode did you see it pop up stand close to it there we go yeah see now you're a big staircase and you can move around as it wait where am I am I inside you did you swallow me too oh you're on top oh oh I can't yeah press the button now no not that button no come come back take it again swallow it cuz you can attack we need to use this no no use your get your other ability okay now swallow this staircase swallow the staircase get off now attack with it look B fall over go attack this oh you attack it I didn't know there you go yeah now look now go and attack this stuff and go and Crush everything oh nice yeah they turn into little pancakes can you keep moving or no yeah yeah okay okay yeah go break that up there right see that what the cracked wall oh I didn't see that even yeah you got to be on the lookout for these things there we go yeah anything there or no let's see just coins and wait pop out for a second let's see can you climb up to anything I don't think so right no it doesn't look like there's anything there okay so let's swallow it and let's keep going so annoying how I keep getting teleported back to you if I want to go somewhere else like I want to go over here and then I just show up in a [Music] bubble there we go now you have to go on top of me yeah I have to I can't move oh oh I can throw Spears like this wow that's so cool I didn't know I could do that what a w yes let's go get that bomb up there wait can I hit the bomb see if I can hit the bomb try and line me up let's see if we can get it no I don't think so okay I think you have to pop out yeah you can press the minus button to immediately pop out instead of holding y do you understand uh what you know how you hold the Y button to spit out an ability yeah you can also just press the minus button it's okay I'll try and how do you drop down quicker uh press B and then you spit that out and then you can fall more quickly yeah no so now you need to swallow yeah and let's go oh and uh you see that little poster up there uh yeah the X yeah we got to get rid of that so pop out oh no we got it anyways there you go remove the wanted poster we get a water for that now do you know what we're going to want to do here uh I think light up the rope and go in the cannon again but let's see if there's anything here like what's that yeah I don't think there's anything else here just leave the just leave it there where it was just go put the staircase back here well how are we going to get up High when the staircase is here it'll take us longer right all right okay yeah right here was good right yeah here's good because we should be able to reach both platforms with this staircase here so light it up now come on up quickly we have to make it into the Canad I'm on my way hurry there we go okay you only got two of the four Lantern switches Oh we must have missed it in that yeah maybe we missed some of the earlier ones I actually forgot about them cuz I didn't control fire so I wasn't even thinking of that oh the water tank that's what that big ball is called this game is so fun I like playing it especially being the car like on fire yeah it's probably more fun being Kirby what do you think yeah I think so the other one just has a spear he uses yeah and I'm forced to stay near you if I get too far away I'm just teleported back I'm like a dog on a leash Kirby is the main character here this so annoying I feel like I'm a dog I just I like I can't go very far away on the leash yeah okay so oh and we also have a side level over there let's go to that one too oh we have two side levels actually oh I don't know if those are Co-op though try going to one of them let's go over there okay there could be rare items in there we're going there bomb treasure let's do it okay oh you know what if oh I think it's only one player so if you don't get it then let's switch then I'll try doing it yeah or we can see who can get a better time so go you have to hit all the switches with the bombs with the bombs no why are you going down there's bombs here yeah that would take so long now I have to run all the way back up oh I didn't know yeah okay now I have to get these don't run down just throw it down then go get the next one you're right there I thought I was the guy up [Music] there yeah cuz you want to get it within a certain time limit if you get it within a go up now if Wadd D's you unlock certain things in this town like over there in that house we can go and unlock or sorry upgrade our abilities so they become stronger and they do more damage and when you charge up you have abilities too and uh at that theater you could go and rewatch cutcenes I'm guessing that's what that is w d Cinemas now open yeah you could rewatch cut scenes nice and I guess in that you could oh that's what coins are used for you can put in coins then you can get some figures there's a figure that you don't have or maybe there's some figures that you specifically have to get from there yeah this is where you can upgrade your copy abilities what one would you want to upgrade first if you can upgrade an ability like a ice sword bomb oh oh I would do ice or fire I like those uh fire is really really good yeah so five is extremely useful how about we do that then let's go to weapon shopping okay let's see if we can upgrade maybe I could upgrade my spear maybe wait maybe he'll give you a free upgrade too maybe he was so happy to see Kirby yeah yeah what about w d though yeah not so much oh and guess what else I can help you evolve those abilities to make them even stronger
