somehow there was a measuring system if if there is wisdom ten times better that means there's wisdom one time better two times better three times better four times better rocky wearing orange five times better and if there's wisdom that categorized on those levels it means that somebody was using some sort of measuring tool to measure wisdom [Music] you to opportunity and never see it never see it because we don't have an eye I pray that God will give you an eye to see Jesus talked about that in Matthew 13 when the disciples said why is it that you speak to these folks in parables he said because seeing they don't see hearing that only abut blessed are your eyes for they see and your ears for they hear because there's also when ear was in the air it's like everybody can hear me but who's really listening who's really hearing what is really being said what is really being said there's also words within words there are words within words been thinking about this the whole week you know I stayed at home the entire week got up early had a long run went back to bed I spent the whole week in bed just lying on the bed watching the news reading scriptures and studying this and this is one of the areas that I was having a real challenge with theologically and I'm working through it I was consulting Saint Francisco Thomas Aquinas and other theologians of the past and trying to find their thoughts some of the exposition on this idea of Jesus infallibility and of course the scripture that I put up there is John chapter number 5 7 verse number 15 where the Jews marveled and said how does this man know letters having never learned in other words from their recollection of the life of Jesus he didn't have a formal education yet the scripture is very everything stating that he knew legends which he was very very aware of structures whether he learned them and memorize them Vanessa or whether they came as an expression of what was already in his spirit now the challenge I've been having theologically is that we teach and rightfully so that the Bible is the they are those that I would suggest that the Bible contains the Word of God which means that there are certain sections according to the interpretation that is the Word of God and some interjections or fusions of thoughts and ideas culturally and philosophically of the writers to embellish what God said we don't believe that we believe that the entire Bible all the way through or 66 books is the Word of God God breathed and of course it is stated that holy men of God wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit 40 of them and produced the scriptures but here's the theological challenge I have nearly he's this is that is every word that Jesus ever spoke from his first word saying mama Dada I'm hungry you know banana is every word that Jesus spoke infallible infallible meaning God breathed irrevocable and unchangeable find that very difficult you put my arms around and again I'm wrestling with this and reading different writers and thoughts and opinions because what we do see if you have a Bible where the words of Jesus are listed they would be written in red those words are definitely in fallible so why is it that Jesus would have a natural day where he spoke just words where's the lines wrong between natural words and infallibility the point I'm trying to drive here is not to create a theological quagmire or some sort of a quandary around the question of whether Jesus was totally infallible that we do believe or question scriptures or things that he stated and taught what I am trying to say is that they are words within the world they are words within the words if Jesus said to Peter unfeeling tired with an infallible if it's not including the scripture obviously not I'm not trying to present a riddle with something deep or dark I'm just going somewhere because in the next few months I want you to listen like you've never listened year like you've never heard to seek the word that is within the world because everybody can hear me but Maureen what is your word for today what are you hearing say there's a word within the word there's also a mind within the mind is a mind within the mind everybody has a mind but there's a mind within the mind and that mind is to drive you a lot of times to a better place some people call it the subconscious mind the voice inside you the the expression of the conscience that's talking to you to do better to do better to go higher to pursue great things to go beyond pain I was listening to now the little bit happier man United coach when he was criticizing some of his players and he was saying that some of his players are not playing beyond the pain barrier and he said a friend of his who was a tennis star wouldn't mention a name said that tennis star said that 90% of the time when he's on the court has been in some sort of pain what would drive a person Serena to play beyond the pain Barry it's a mind within the mind and if you allow your mind to itself weeds will grow in it so we are going to help you locate the mind within the mind there are certain things that are a discipline things that you have to do beyond your comfort zone and we are going to have to push you beyond that place and then of course there's wisdom within wisdom there's wisdom within wisdom everybody has some sort of expression of wisdom but this wisdom was in and that's the wisdom we want to draw out we want to draw out and seek go with me now to Daniel chapter number 1 verse 20 and let's look at measured wisdom this is just a brief extreme I mean when he says all he means all every category in all methods of wisdom in all methods of understanding the king and that the king inquired of these four boys meshach Shadrach bendigo and Daniel he found them ten times better than all all the magicians astrologers and wise men that were in all his realm that's extreme land with so many all day all I mean when the Bible is saying or he's talking about also somehow there was a measuring system if if there is wisdom ten times better that means there's wisdom one time better two times better three times better four times better you have an a moment somebody is measuring wisdom your wisdom is being measured right now you have to do some introspective work and ask yourself where are you on the journey of wisdom where are you when am I on the journey to develop wisdom it is wonderful to see a young man with old man's wisdom you have any moment where God will add wisdom to your life where you'll be ten times wiser that all of those around you notice that these boys didn't have a formal education they were short space of time in Babylon didn't have a chance to attend the schools of learning there but when the King began to consult them he found them to be in all matters every category every category with age engineering infrastructural development philosophy mathematics linguistics every category medicine science he found them to be ten times wiser which means that there was some sort of a measuring scale that they employed and use I declare upon your life that in 2017 at the end of this year you are going to be 10 times wiser 10 times wiser Oh in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus I share the story every time I have an opportunity heard it before it won't be the last time he's going to hear because I'm going to tell it over and over again at the age of 12 my mom told me to pray for wisdom because she read that there was a king called Solomon who asked for wisdom up until that point I had been put back in school three times in my life I struggled in school I didn't have an academic mind or I'll tell you what at the age of 12 it was the month of September when everything changed in my life 1969 September a simple prayer God give me wisdom now I don't consider myself to be brilliant or intellectual but I'll tell you what some of the things that I've achieved in my little short life is because God has given me significant wisdom I set her on the table with some of the wisest theologians and preachers of all time from a simple prayer September 1969 put your hand on your head and say give me wisdom say give me wisdom say give me wisdom all right go with me now and let's read I spent a lot of time in first Kings chapter 4 verse 30 this week first Kings 4 verse 30 and Solomon's wisdom Excel the wisdom of all the children of the east that's extreme provides us extreme language Solomon's wisdom excels the wisdom of all the children of the East country of all the wisdom of Egypt he was wiser than all men is he that's rial all the east all Egypt all men he was wiser than Ethan he was wiser than him and he was rather than wiser than charcoal wiser than Giada all of the sons of mayo and his fame went throughout the nation's now I want you to look at the areas where Solomon was wiser somebody was actually measuring this somebody was measuring this it is said that Nathan the Prophet wrote the book of first kings Oh gag finished it or some one of the prophets but whoever wrote this was measuring the wisdom of Solomon he was wiser go to the next slide please he was wiser than all the children of the East country all the Trinity now whether that every wise man towards the Himalayas India China Japan Tibet Mongolia and so on whether he was wiser than an individual individual wise men or whether he was wiser than the corporate wisdom within those nations both could be accepted the fact is he was wiser than all the children of the East country then he Gordon it was wiser than all of those in Egypt now these are the guys that were the originators of writing mathematics engineering they built the pyramids underwater cities along the River Nile sophisticated agriculture the first trade routes and trade systems that the world has ever seen these are the guys that gave Joe a job you know Joe the 11th brother gave him a job and he'd perfected silos and took it to another level Solomon was wiser than all of Egypt wise in all the combined knowledge he was wiser than even I will do a study on each of these individuals somebody is measuring wisdom your wisdom is being measured right now you have to do some introspective work and ask yourself where are you on the journey of wisdom where are you where am I on the journey to develop wisdom it is wonderful to see a young man with old man's wisdom we're ready as we were no progress the Bible says a foolish son is a pain to his mother and it is grace to his father but it's wonderful when a father sees a young man Express and expound wisdom in all categories in all categories please say to retry and give me wisdom here are the four things that wisdom will do for you and then we're done for things wisdom Udofia number one get wisdom get understanding don't forsake wisdom for number one wisdom will preserve thee preserve thee the word preserve their means will provide guidelines wisdom will show you how to behave and thank you running the book of problems going to deal with the dangers of adultery wisdom will tell you to stay away from adulterous relationship because he tells you that adultery will destroy your soul it will put a mark on your life that will never ever leave you not ever it remains there forever and wisdom will preserve you wisdom will give you an opportunity and option to stay away from those kinds of heinous activities and behaviors [Music] you
