Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Emily Gould later claimed in a New York Times article that the interview with Jimmy Kimmel caused her to suffer panic attacks and seek therapy...but failed to see how having a live, public map of your whereabouts would do the same. What a piece of shit.
Her attitude, condescending tone, and ignorance sums up Gawker perfectly. Vile human beings who justify this.
Aaron Sorkin recreated this interview on The Newsroom. It was done really well.

I can give her the benefit of being on TV and being nervous and having 4 people who disagree with her but she's the epitome of the personality of all these shitty blogs.
She's so used to all her cutesy little facial expressions getting her out of trouble, she has no idea how to actually defend her position. I bet she practices that shit in the mirror every day.
Kimmel did really well there. And the title checks out - worth the watch.
WOW! This is embarrassing.
"Is it really..."
Yes, yes it is.
I don't think I've ever seen such a vile, fake and comically oblivious person. Just from her expressions and tone of voice alone, the level of condescension being communicated is astounding.
I rarely ever say this type of stuff, but I feel worse for having watched that.
apparently she left gawker in 2007
