Killing the Ender Dragon with Redstone!

now I'm going to start things off here by being a little bit controversial you can't complete minecraft no matter how many bosses you kill and no matter how many things you build minecraft is not a game with an ending however there is an end dimension and there is an end boss which is this chat right here and when you do kill the end boss the credits of the game roam which generally means that the game has ended and everything has been completed so have face value this guy right here is the end boss this is this is the one to kill to finish and complete the game now it is a bit of a challenge I personally really struggle in it but that has because I'm pretty terrible and that side of Minecraft I need all of the gear I need swords I need potions and everything like that but one thing that I've never tried is redstone now for those of you who don't know this little area right here is actually incredibly important because as you can see the ender dragon occasionally comes over to it and does this little thing right here and that means that wow things are making a lot of noise that means that we can build a whole bunch of traps around it to hopefully kill this guy nice and easily so to start things off we're going to be really really simple we're just going to use a whole bunch of arrows and also a whole bunch of potions and see how much damage we can do so this right here is test number one okay let's go No Oh No I've just had a thought arrows don't work arrows don't work when this guy oh okay that's yeah that's that's gonna be difficult what about TMT okay he's in the zone he's in the zone and hmm okay okay okay that could be a good that could be a good way to go TNT anvils anvils could be good fun and then maybe just try and shoot him with arrows from above follow generally yeah doesn't he know part of my challenge is to not take out the end of crystals because that would be way too easy I mean we could do that like in second iron golems would iron golems help out that could be a really cool idea as well more TNT is in place right okay so let's do a really big explosion all at once which he launched him but that was a lot of TNT and it did nothing this might be much harder than I was expecting it to be give him he'll boys give him al oh no I wonder do splash potions work in this area no splash potions don't seem to work on it at all oh we are totally in for a much bigger challenge than I was expecting okay I feel like we could probably do a lot better with the TNT so I'm going to remove all of this rubbish right here and we're going to try our best to create like a massive Almighty no even a TNT cannon just a huge TNT dropper that is going to drop a bunch of TNT on top of this guy now the important thing about these things is that all of the TNT has to be acted at once say all explodes at exact the same time so hopefully it doesn't blow up the system oh and in case you're wondering why our dragon isn't taking out all of my redstone builds that is because mob griefing is currently turned off I felt like that was quite important because otherwise I will be rebuilding every single redstone contraption about a million times over so I just logged in and out of the game and I think it might have regenerated this this here so we need to make sure that we don't build anything in this area test number one definitely isn't going to kill it but we have got a brand new TNT dropper type thing a little bit above right here and it's in this shape so it doesn't get dismantled every time we reload the game because apparently it can't be above this area which actually could cause a bit of an issue a potential little issue but anyway he's down there TNT is dropped now that that was loads of TNT that was so much TNT and it didn't do it did it all of those dropped by 101 side didn't drop come on go into the middle I want to test out when you redstone right okay dropping it dropping it dropping it I mean hey hey hey that did a load more damage oh we might be on something we might be on something maybe it's because it was like quite staggered so maybe like adds a little bit of delay here and there so we get my multiple blasts uh-huh I think I might have found the the kink in the armor or is it the or the link the link anyway he's back there it is it's dropped okay more TNT this my friends is the Super hand-drawn ender ender Collider whatever I'm going to call this thing I I'm hoping I'm hoping that he comes past I'm hoping it works I'm hoping it doesn't just completely destroy itself on the first test because that would be very embarrassing in front of all my youtube friends here we go I can feel he's coming in he's turned in I'm flicking the lever we've got TNT how did that only do that much damage he's only over there right hopefully comes back down really soon and then we can just keep doing this wouldn't that be nice a if he didn't if he didn't regenerate if you didn't regenerate all of his health he's totally gonna regenerate all of his health isn't he oh no oh he's come back him he's come back in look we've got a bit of it none and he's gone dogs gone gone gone gone away hopefully we could just keep doing this go on just come back in we could just take him out notch by notch bit by bit we can wipe him out I can feel it in my bones this is the way to go he's coming back in I think I feel like he is no is he regenerating all his health again I feel like he's regenerating all his health again yeah no he's back to normal he's happy as Larry you can't even feel what's just happened more T&T it's the only answer it's the only way how are we gonna get more TNT in there so I think I'm going back on my idea of the whole stage shock thing because a it's kind of it's it's exploding my er my TNT cannon which isn't brilliant that's that's what I'm really trying to avoid here is he's exploding my stuff but more importantly I feel like just one big explosion could do the trick so it's quickly replace all of the Redstone that's been knocked down by this thing which there is a tiny bit and then when this guy comes back past which it looks like years floods of tnt that was monstrous look how far up he went but where do we go from there I mean he just regenerates his health and then we can't we can't do it I kind of want to kill him in one blow that's like the point of this one three times as much TNT 3 times as much TNT as been put in place I am well aware of the fact that this thing is going to completely destroy itself as soon as it fires but I feel like this needs to be done this is the only way we're going to find out if TNT is the answer TNT and he survived it the dudes are just an absolute monster Oh what do we do what do we do realistically to deal more damage than that I mean look at the environment around I'm gonna try again I did have a bit of a brainwave though if I replace all of the blocks with obsidian then that means that the TNT shouldn't escape the system which means that we can deal more damage because the TNT explosion will be concentrated in a really small area so let's look out for this guy and he comes in soon we can get a mega explosion ok here he comes no no that wasn't that wasn't what I thought it was I think I think he's on the way No ah he's definitely coming in he's come in he's in there he's in there he's in the mix ok that's good very good very very good lots of TNT action lots and lots of damage big explosions are you serious that was a stupid quantity of TNT and he's fine he's totally fine he's totally cool with it okay new idea do splash potions work on the ender dragon it's gonna be so difficult to be able to test this out but I want to see if these things will work so that we can potentially just just comp it bomb it just carpet bomb him with the splash potions that might be a potential it's impossible to tell really really is impossible to tell this method may well be the end of my computer I have a strong strong theory that it may well be the end of my computer yeah definitely to keep the test fair and make sure that I don't accidentally destroy all of the ender crystals which will sort of defeat the object of this test I am in the process of just covering them all over so that we can carp upon the entire place with arrows right then is one strip done we power it and it does something a little bit like that so I'm going to grab myself some repeaters and I guess connect this up to here and I suppose I mean that is a trap chest and that right there is a regular chest so yep these things can definitely go right next to one another ah this is going to be absolutely brutal for my PC but hilarious to watch right well then this is what it looks like I suppose if we were to power it we would get arrows dropping down now right now he is outside the scope of our system which yeah something I hadn't really thought of my computer handles out really really well oh it's starting to struggle it's really starting to struggle I'm not seeing any damage being done to the Enderdragon though I feel like he might be outside if we really built all of this and it's not doing anything is that genuinely a thing I think we might need to make this bigger believe it or not we've killed a lot of Enderman we have done there and we've taken my frames down to five right okay he's definitely on the inside now blast him absolutely blast him what so system of I created here I don't even know where the Enderdragon is oh this was daft oh this is so stupid I can't even hear like nothing is working I'm starting to think that maybe we might not be able to do this which is really upsetting so I've added in a bit of extra redstone so that I can actually see when this guy is underneath and we can actually start shooting I think he just occasionally just pops in so when he does we do a bit of that action oh he's just gone above that is a slight issue with the machine is that you gotta have to work like maybe 20 seconds in advance this is yeah this is this is not as plain sailing as I thought it was gonna be when I started right the scale has increased now we've got far more it doesn't do anything to up and Dragon just take a hit please look how many arrows that is how is this not killing him I can't believe it it's amazing to look at absolutely incredible to look at at 2 frames a second but how is our ender dragon just cruising through completely unharmed I don't get it I genuinely genuinely do not understand I'm just gonna go to town I'm gonna flick these just consistently I mean I would hook it up to a redstone clock but I want to be able to turn it off Oh have I been stupid here there is a chance I was doing it way too fast and it wasn't actually firing as many as I thought it should be Oh oh dear oh dear as soon as this guy goes inside there I'm going to flick the lever that's how it's gonna go it's impossible to tell where E's should I just activate it no oh he's miles away oh what a stupid move that was he's not even gonna kill him he's not even gonna be injured by that he's on the other side I mean that looks amazing it really does but absolutely no damage whatsoever to miss the ender dragon over here who is literally just chilling out he's watching this all go down I'm guessing that's not where he actually is well what an utter failure this is bin TNT is still going off when you can no longer see the Enderdragon bar we've done it hey guys I've made inflatable look at that they look like they're about to explode but they totally don't I don't think there is a way to make them explode Hank no way what just happened I think I think the charge creepers finally blew up what hey I've got to try this out again so this guy right here who's got a fuse time of 60 seconds I think which is why is taking him so long to explode dude what when he explodes he blows out all of the end crystals no wonder this guy dies is that cheating we need to use redstone I think for the last time I'm going to try my best to go back to this method right here I've staged all of the TNT explodes which means they do a lot more damage okay okay that's that's that's big news right let's hook this up to the observers and once again we will build the mega structure now my plan is pretty simple I'm going to try my best to kill this guy gradually by basically dropping down the TNT and hoping that he doesn't repair himself too much before he comes along again so we have got a bunch of these guys right here and as soon as I calls it an update all of the TNT will drop down and it will take hell to our enderdragon now this is going to be my last chance this is my last attempt at killing this guy if this doesn't work then none of them are going to work and I haven't been able to defeat the Ender Dragon using redstone without taking out all of the end crystals but anyway it looks like is he is he is he gonna sweep in any second now maybe now I want to try and get in there early because maybe we might be able to do more drops on him okay he goes there it is it's all dropped in I always thought we'd done it I so thought we'd done it then ah that's so depressing because that was so close I've added a redstone clock get into the mix and we're now going to see if we can basically chuck tons of tnt in here goes that's lots this is so much there we can't get we cannot get below kind of like 1/3 I'm gonna say it I don't think it's possible ladies and gents I don't think we can do it we cannot kill the Ender Dragon with redstone at least icons however I want to issue you guys a bit of a challenge I want you to try your best to kill this guy without taking out any of the end of crystals or anything like that using a redstone
