- Bubbly. ♪ (French accordion music) ♪ - (FBE) So, we're going
back to the '90s today to have you try some drinks.
- Ooh. Let's see what drinks they have. - (FBE) So, a lot of popular
'90s drinks we couldn't get today because they are discontinued
and expired, but we got some good ones
here for you still. - Yay. - I don't know '90s drinks.
Coke and Pepsi, that's all I'm expecting. - I feel like they're gonna
be really big and fizzy. I'm excited.
I'm really ready and I just love trying
new things 'cause it's so fun. - (FBE) Here's your
first drink. - Yay. - Oh, it's one of these.
I had these a couple days ago. - This looks like a medicine
bottle, kind of or a baby bottle. - It looks like jello
in a bottle. - Oh, you spin it probably.
Okay. That's pretty good.
It has a good flavor and then it also has
an apple taste in it. - This is a different flavor.
Kinda tastes like apple with lime. - Okay, that's good.
It kinda tastes like a popsicle, but a liquid
version of a popsicle. - (narrator) A few
moments later. - (FBE) That's good. - (narrator) One
eternity later. - A lot of liquid coming out
tonight, that's for sure. - This is really good.
You can really taste the flavor more than you
could with the other ones. - (FBE) So, Mondo
was produced in 1991 and it's extra fun because
you can squeeze it and drink it. - It is fun.
I like it. - I can honestly see
my friends just taking it off and squirting at each other
instead of actually drinking it. - (FBE) Here's your next one.
- What is-- huh?
It just looks like an energy drink for kids. - You know it's a Surge
because one, two, three. Three "Surges" on it. - Citrus flavor.
I'm not really a citrus fan. - It smells like Coke,
but it looks like Mt. Dew, 'cause it's green. - It looks cool,
but I don't know if I'll like it. This one tastes like Sprite. - Good.
Tastes like ginger ale. - That's really good.
The citrus flavor actually bursts out. - I like it.
It kind of tastes like lime. - I think it's pretty good. - (FBE) So, Surge is
a citrus flavored drink made in the '90s
by Coca Cola. - Oh, I see.
Yeah, it's kinda like-- they're pretty similar,
the way that they taste, so yeah, I get it. - Do they still make these?
I'ma see if I can find one, 'cause this is really good. - (FBE) Here's another one. - Orbitz. - I've never tried one of these.
Raspberry? - (pop sound)
- Oh, that was so loud. - Bubbly. - It's good.
It tastes like Sprite. - Oh, that's good.
That's good. - There's nothing that I can
say that I don't like about it, it's just really bland. - It tastes kind of like
Sour Patch Kids but without the sourness. - It tastes like lemonade,
but just more fizzy. I like it.
I'd probably drink this now. - (FBE) So, this is Orbitz.
It was made in 1997 and used to have edible,
floating orbs in it. Some consumers compared
it to a lava lamp. - You can't get the Orbitz
anymore? - (FBE) No.
- Okay, still good. - If it had orbs in it,
I'd probably not wanna drink it, 'cause I'd be terrified.
I'd be like, what is in that? - (FBE) So, here is your next.
- What the heck? Powder?
Am I a baby now? Am I drinking powdered milk? - It kinda reminds me
of Kool Aid with the powder and stuff. This is fun. - Some smoke. - Looks like orange juice,
but without pulp. - This is just OJ. - This is not what
I was expecting. Tastes like an orange. - I like it,
'cause I've tried it before. Like oranges, but a little sour. - I don't like it.
It has a little tint of orange. - I like it, except there's
so much water flavor. - (FBE) So, Tang,
it's a kick in a glass. While still made today,
and while it was started in the '50s, Tang was
especially popular in the '90s and had some great commercials.
- It's kind of fun. It's a little bad because you
don't really wanna do anything, you just wanna drink it. - It's not bad,
but it's not great. - (FBE) Here's your next. - Clearly Canadian. - I heard this.
Didn't they stop this one for a while and then
brought it back? I'm pretty sure there was
a Patreon for a while to help it. - This just looks like
sparkling water. There's not really color to it,
so that's what I'm assuming it is. - It's sparkling water.
I really don't like sparkling water. - Tastes like cherry.
I like cherries. - Ew.
I don't know what about it, it just doesn't taste good
at all. - That's so sour.
If you love sour, guys, you should try this.
It's sour. It should be called
Sourly Canadian. - (FBE) So, Clearly Canadian
is sparkling water with a hint of fruit flavor.
It has been brought back and is now made again today.
- I like the fruit flavor, it's just not the sparkling part
because I just-- I don't know why.
I just don't like sparkling water. - Brought back today,
so that must have been-- meant it was a success. - (FBE) So overall,
how did you feel about all these '90s drinks?
- They were overall delicious. I loved them. - I kinda feel like
a lot of them are better than the drinks we have today,
'cause a lot of the drinks we have now, it's just basically
water with sugar and coloring, but I thought they were
really good. - It's making me wanna
