of the ego the eagle is mentioned 23 times in the bible it is the only birth used to represent our savior it is the symbol of many courts of arms around the world it is a picture of power royalty and strength and god have not called us to be parrots but to be like the ego because parrots talk without action god wants us to be eagles that sword that reach new heights new levels and god wants us not to be like the sparrow that only flutters and doesn't go high god doesn't want us to hang around the wrong crowd he wants us to gain altitude last week i mean two weeks ago in our message we saw eagle vision how that the ego sees very far and it locks its vision to what it desires and goes for it you need to learn to remain focused in the world in which you are despite obstacles concentration is a key to achieving your purpose focus on the target like a laser keep your focus so you can reach where god is taking you watch over the gates of your eyes your ears and your mouth keep your vision alive vision is a necessity it's and and the ego sees its prey from miles locks its vision on it and goes for it so last week we covered i mean two weeks ago ago we covered a lot on vision and then we covered on it being fearless want to pick up from there i want to just encourage you this morning with some other parts of the wisdom of the ego the bible says they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength they will mount up with wings as eagles isaiah 40 30 31 the third thing about the ego apart from being a bread of vision and a bird that is fearless is that it is a bird that is tenacious the tenacity of the ego means that it keeps going on when other birds have given up you're going to learn to develop tenacity in our world today face the storm see the storm as an opportunity see the challenges of life as an opportunity to rise to the levels that god is taking you in fact the evil has a habit of using storms to rise to glide to soar when there is commotion and there is a storm coming all the birds look for a place to cover up but the eagle will look for the eye of the storm and go towards it knowing that when it gets there the hot wind of the storm will lift it up and then the ego begins to rise and glide and soar listen storms are inevitable in the world in which we live if anybody told you you will not face anything because you got born again they lied to you you better understand you will face storms you will face battles you'll face challenges but we are given the guarantee that because of jesus we overcome now thanks be unto god who always causes us to have victory through the lord jesus christ glory to god glory to god and so because of christ we can have our victory over storms of life over the battles of life and i believe god with you that somebody in this message god will give you strength to overcome to be tenacious to keep your eye on the place you are going the fourth thing about the ego is that the ego loves to eat fresh meat fresh meat what does this mean it means living world living bread food that is alive fresh meat determines its strength it gets all the protein even though the eagle may not be more than a couple of pounds or kilograms in weight yet it carries things that are four times its own weight eagles have been seen to carry deers eagles have been seen to carry animals that are four or five times their own weight this is determined by the kind of intake of fruit the entrance of god's word brings light you need the meat of god's word because the kind of thing you take determines your sweetness it determines your strength and it determines where you can reach in life in other words don't scavenge the eagle does not scavenge it does not go around looking for dead meat it looks for what will give strength what will give it power many believers today particularly in our world of social media they eat breakfast in one ministry lunch in another dinner and another get confused and don't even know what to believe but when you stay in the world and not scavenge all over the place looking for dead meat you are able to overcome egos go for fresh meat in other words they don't dwell on dead things don't dwell on past success don't dwell on where you are coming from don't dwell on yesterday's achievement focus on tom on today and tomorrow don't eat garbage you are not called to live a life of eating spiritual garbage you're called to live a life of good diet of god's word that will strengthen you now focus your journey and help you to overcome the eagles diet helps its flight because it is mostly protein it has such strength such capacity such ability it flies it never grows weary it keeps going on without getting tired you've got to learn that the only way to overcome in our world today have you seen how messy everything have been kovid have exposed the weakness of our world we need the world the eagles diet helps its flight people who feed on garbage only flap around they flop around because they think they're okay junk will take you up but it will never take you far eating junk may expose you to danger same thing you need the entrance of the world where which shall a young man clears his ways by taking heed onto your word your word have i hid in my heart that i may not sin against you why because the flower fades the grass with us the word of the lord abides forever when you take in the word of god it helps you to be an overcomer victorious totally victorious praise the lord you've got to learn how to really know the word store the word in your spirit find scriptures that help you to overcome a matter consume that scripture let it come alive look for the rhema of god's word that living word for the current location current situation praise god move on don't live in the past don't eat dead meat don't stay with carcasses don't stay with dead things don't hang around dead things move on with your life let your eyes be on the things that will keep your spirits strong and your spirit to be alive learn to feed on the word of god every our world is full of all kinds of philosophies and lies and also people who deliberately destroy others deliberately destroying others people coming up with all kinds of conspiracy theories and lies and they don't care who dies as a result but you need to keep your eyes straight stay in the meat of the word matthew 4 4 but he answered and said it is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of god so you see it is a proceeding word a proceeding word is the word a live word strong word so today i challenge your mind to desire god's word to desire god's living word to desire fresh bread fresh meat to desire to come alive and not leave a placid generic regular christian life but the one that is alive on fire for god glory to god almighty glory to god almighty i pray that to this world blesses you blesses you blesses you challenges your mind be tenacious and then get into the fresh meat of god's word you know we give that challenge to go through the scriptures and 30 days i know it may not allow you to really take the time to study verse by verse that's not the intention if the intention is for you to actually regularize yourself familiarize yourself with the word i just hear it and hear it and hear it and hear it and hear it glory to god glory to god the eagle always looks for freshmen it goes hunting goes hunting dares all the animals number five the ego goes through a special training when that training season comes the eagle does not play when the eagle knows that he has been tired and his feathers are are already tired from too much uh exposure to the vicissitudes of life the ego will find a high mountain a high rock or a high tree and perch on it for 40 days during that time it will remove the tired feathers practically with its own mouth remove the tired feathers i used to just think even though i read it i was wondering how would that happen that i have a peacock in my house i see the peacock removing feathers that are tired with its own mouth shedding it or pulling them out because they are tired feathers ah okay so that's what the eagle does the eagle in this case does not remove one two here stays until he has removed all the feathers all the feathers naked before its savior you've got to understand some of our strength is tired some of our the things we do are tired we need to be naked before the savior to renew our mind renew our life renew our vision you need to get out of your out of yourself and come to the place where you retrain and refocus your life so you are not just into some monotony when it does this after 40 days it grows new feathers and it gets out of the nest cries out with a loud shriek and then it soars again it's time for somebody to find strength to come out of your of your challenges get out of your nest get out of your hiding place get out of your comfort zones as you wait on the lord may you find strength may you find power may you find grace many of us we just live a life of staying in comfort zones and when we see people who choose to break that pattern we are wondering how do they do it listen it is possible if you want to renew your strength renew your vision get out of your comfort zone create a good discomfort for yourself create a good discomfort for yourself get out of comfort zone create a good discomfort for yourself in other words you need to not just be satisfied with where you are you need to tell yourself i can do more i can achieve more i can break more ground deuteronomy 32 11 as an ego stirs up its nest hovers over its young spreading out its wings taking them up carrying them on his wings look at the process there when an eagle is training the young one to fly it does not play many of us who have over pampered our kids our young people now some of them live a life of entitlement the ego will stir up its own nest hover over its own grab them take them up carry them on its wings get you over the cliff drop them so that they have to open their wings and fly or else they will perpetually stay in the nest because mother always provides get your wings open many times god is training you the things that go you go through not all battles are from the devil not all challenges are from satan some are god's orchestration the bible does not say god tempts but he tests he will use something that will help you to grow he tests he doesn't tempt temptation is to destroy test is to promote test is to promote and for you to be trained for reigning it means you have to be ready you have to give up your comfort zone and be trained for raining train for raining eagles are thrown out of the net by their mothers out of their net so that the eagle will have to decide if it wants to survive or not and as it's falling fast down it suddenly opens its nest it's it's its wings and fine that oh my god i can show up and from then they break through and begin to soar themselves i never want to go back to how it used to be they trained to break out of the comfort zone too many believers have created little little bubbles that give them the assurance that they are okay assurance that they are okay with their live assurance that they are okay with their vision that they're okay with their dreams listen the glory of where god is taking you the vision god has for you determines the quality of training it takes you to and i want you to know that i want you to know that god has a plan for your life some of the things you've been through or are going through are not for your destruction they are your training for raining training for raining training for raining praise god they are your training so that you can reign so you can evolve hard and stronger so you can evolve tough and not bow into situations hard and stronger praise the lord praise the lord the sixth thing about the eagle is its vitality vitality the evils ever fight or full of strength always going from strength to strength living long living strong living long living strong many of us have retired even in our attitude i want you to not retire but retire to re-fire change your attitude in life get yourself into movement if you find you have some more time grab some trust go witness go share jesus with your friends talk to people about christ don't be vital in your relationship with god create vitality in your relationship with him have vitality in your relationship with your family have vitality in your own personal life stroke your mind with regular reading it has been found that people who read a lot in their old age are likely to not experience alzheimer's disease they are likely to not experience many of those neuron diseases why because the region of the brain that dies and brings about those diseases were being stroked during the time you created mental vitality for yourself wake up wake up learn the wisdom of the ego in his vitality the ego will deliberately break its own beak break its own beak because in the process of eating flesh all the time a lot of calcium have grown around its beak so the eagle will go look for a rock and begin to strike the rock with the beak strike the rock with the beak and the beak of an eagle is hard it is one of the weapons it uses to kill snakes because the worst enemy of the of the eagle is the it can grab the eagle is the only one that have been found to have claws that move as if there are gears one two three four and it's gripping it grows the clothes to be stronger with age in other words it gets to become stronger in what it grabs what it handles i pray for you for vitality to handle favor to handle blessing to handle grace to handle the full of vitality and you will break out of the things that i want to limit you shed off old habits shed off old habits let go of limitations and many many limitations started from our father's house things they told you you could never do but you can overcome them now that you are in christ they told you you could never do some things but with time you can retrain your mind if any man be in christ he's a new creature all things have passed away all things have become new let go of your limitations break out of the things that hold you be full of vitality stop assuring yourself that you are fine when you are living an average life average vision average dream average life average family average house ordinary wouldn't do you need to move out of the ordinary out of the average to the place where you are a testimony to your generation in the name of jesus leba cathaya i pray that this blesses you the seventh thing about the ego is that the ego flies alone yeah great company is good one will chase a thousand two would chase ten thousand it is good to move in the company of people if you want to go far go with people if you want to go to the end of the journey go with people but listen there are some things in life you've got to walk alone and it doesn't take liverpool football club to do this you've got to learn how to fly alone like the ego walk alone walk your lonesome walk alone walk your dream alone there are some things god has shown you if you try to carry people along they don't see it they'll talk you out of it you're doing too much your vision is too much your this is too much your that is too much your exercise is too much your your praying for breakthrough is too much your vision is too much your pursuit of your goal is too much at that time you need to develop confidence i know that i and jesus can make this happen there are some things in your life you've got to walk the lonesome valley alone you've got to learn to not flock because eagles don't flock don't flock with the wrong stock eagles don't flock they move alone and there's some visions of life you've got to just know and some of it keep it let it be brewing in your spirit don't share everything with everyone because there are people who will talk you out of your vision some of them well-intentioned some of them people you regard highly what didn't moses send 12 pastors to canaan to once buy the land the 10 who brought he would report were not new converts they were not babies they were supposed to be leaders but they saw problem they didn't see god only two saw god above the problem you need to walk alone you need to fly alone you need to swim alone you need to learn to rise above some things without having to wait for anyone no one else can walk some valleys for you no one else can do it for you fulfill the love of christ in another verse it says every man shall carry his own burden is that a contradiction no the english language does not allow us to see what he's saying in one verse he said bear you one another's burden so fulfill the law of christ in another verse he says everyone shall bear his own burden every man bearing his own burden the greek word there is foreshion from which we get the english word portion every man shall carry his own portion i can't carry your briefcase i can't carry your wife for you you can't carry my word for me i can't carry your marriage for you there are some things you have to carry for yourself we walk into all kinds of challenges when we help people carry their whole home that was sustaining them food and drink every day if they have no ability to provide a portion then you have problem then the second one it says where you want another's burden that one the greek word there is barros which means a heavy load there are some heavy loads others can carry with you but there are some journeys you got to walk alone dream alone see the vision alone you are the one whom god told that thing you are the one whom god gave that vision you are the one whom god gave that assignment you are the one whom god gave that direction you are the one whom god spoke that thing too glory to god glory to god oh glory to god walk alone fly alone don't be afraid there are some things you've got to learn how to by yourself know where you're going and you paul said when this thing happened i did not come far with flesh and blood walk alone walk alone walk alone the eighth thing about the eagle is that he knows how to face the storm i know we said about the storm earlier but we needed to talk about this again facing the storm means that the eagle's eye is created to look at the storm and when it gets above the storm is able to look at the sun to a degree and the ego uses that a lot to fight its enemies so when the storm comes rise above the clouds people will make statements that become a storm in your heart people will carry out actions that become a storm in your life people will set up problem systems that become a storm for you rise above the clouds rise above it god will meet you there god will bless you god will honor your faith god will strengthen you you will not be put to shame don't run from the storm don't drown from the storm ride the storm i told you two weeks ago when i i remember listening to a program on radio somebody had asked these pilots whenever this the pilots anticipate a stone why can't they just rise above it or go under it or why can't they just go to the side and uh the the pilot said look there are some storms that in in in its depth it could be up to 200 miles so where do you go or at least a lie very high and very wide so some of it you have to go through it go through it the plane is built to stand the strength of the storm listen you don't know how strong god has built you until you go through something there are people who expect you to lose your mind but the devil is a liar you will not lose your mind for anyone you will not die for anyone you will not break down for anyone you will not fail for anyone you will succeed you will achieve you will break grounds you will reach where god said you will reach you will become a testimony face the storm don't run only quit us run only cowards run be the believer who knows how to face the storm get excited about the challenges and grow powerful and faster get excited about the challenges of life grow powerful through those challenges grow faster all glory all glory a man never becomes a world champion if he has never fought another champion because he was a world champion in the club where he traded because he was a champion the club where he trained didn't mean he's a world champion yet some things will come to test your championship but god will strengthen you look for the storms sometimes fly towards it just like the eagle the eagle will sometimes look for storms you'll be looking for the storms particularly when the enemies come and they are chasing him he knows that there is a limit to how much they can follow him he looks for the storms and uses it to rise uses them to rise and to rest because it glides at a point in the storm the eagle does not fly it just it just rests there while the the wind grace of god use the storm to be blessed beyond measure the ninth thing about us the ego is commitment commitment of all the birds of prey the evil is one bird that is committed once it finds a female eagle when a male ego finds a female ego they look close and you could almost call it a romantic feel and from then on they live together they and while the eagle nests the male eagle most times will go look for food while the female eagle nests over the eggs and even when the heart watches over the the young ones females test the level of commitment they test the commitment don't just get yourself committed to a man because he's a height and he he pulled to your front with a nice car those measurements don't help anymore where is he going in life does he have a vision can he stand a storm does he have vitality does he have dreams is he committed praise god eagles when they build they build largeness that are bigger than themselves they built for generations that is a commitment who grew and went away wants to come back home there's room what kind of a life are you building what kind of children are you raising kids who are raised by social media or those who are committed to a vision through you kids who are raised to have a vision a dream kids who are raising a home with a vision of generational blessing massiveness launching your sons your daughters to a life where they will not fail because you gave them a good start many of us we stood we we suffered we struggled because we didn't have the benefit of parents who with hindsight will have created the atmosphere of a good start while you have the opportunity create a home of generational blessings every time god calls a man he blesses him and bless his generations abraham isaac jacob so think like your father god operate like your father god be committed to build some generationally they would rather buy spoilers for their car than give their children a good education pick any school around because it's cheap what is easy eagles go for what is necessary for their journey don't flock with vultures vultures continue on what others have finished leftovers dead meat carcasses eagles look for their own fresh one don't flock with vultures vultures choose i mean others choose the vultures diet whatever they live for them the ego goes to look for his own what will help him become the best don't flock with vultures falters are known to be feeding on the circumstances of life egos create their own atmosphere don't flock with vultures vultures over eat on the carcass until they become a prey themselves no something in human nature loves juicy stories that's what vultures like don't be one of them don't carry stories which you are not sure of but you have no proof which is a lie guard your heart eat
