reverend steve mensah the president of day of help and his executive leaders to institute the day of help in august 2015 where a day in the year was set aside to attend to the needs of persons with disabilities [Music] [Music] initially the magnitude of the population and the extent to which resources were stretched made it imperative to segment it the following and subsequent years 2020 is the fifth year since day of hell began it was and has been such a large and capital intensive program it has been organized twice at the independence square in accra then to tamale in the third year the fourth was held in komasi and this fifth year day of help is coming back to the independence square in accra this is an event where many gift items such as packs of rice gary beans and sugar toiletries assorted drinks cups and plates are arranged in a plastic bucket and given to each person meanwhile persons with albinism the physically challenged the blind and autistic receive extra gifts which really takes care of their disabilities such as sun shades wheelchairs white kings and mattresses [Music] as you can tell on your screen it is giving a law persons with disabilities come receive free physiotherapy treatment [Music] they were also given free drugs from the pharmacy [Music] thousands of volunteers from the charismatic evangelistic ministry and allied churches are invited to help with the work during this program reaching out to the basic needs of these unique people and showing the love of god is a hallmark of day of help during this five-year period of supporting persons with disability we have had the honor of pastor matthew ashimolow supporting in kash and in person bishop doughy what mills donating thousands of wheelchairs and cash and joining in i want to remove beggars from the streets of ghana i want to remove those who are sleeping on the cardboard and all that and give them a decent place to stay accommodated and then to be able to uh do something acquire skills so the village is going to train people to acquire skills coding into marketing into computer and so many things we have a whole lot of things that we are going to do at the village uh we wish that we had more wheelchairs for more people are crawling on the ground that's the only regret we are because a lot of taxes are now in the wheelchairs and the right now we want to import ten thousand wheelchairs into the country for disabled people we are overwhelmed you've come from everywhere from every corner from everywhere we have seen all kinds of persons with disabilities the one the ones we can't even imagine i mean they're numbness we are overwhelmed and where they are coming from and we can imagine that we have such people who are so much disabled and they are in our country here we cannot even monitor the people because of his vastness there's a lot of people that are involved but thank god for our people our team members who have made things very easy for us praise the lord why don't you stand and lift your hand and just pray that god will use you make your blessing to your generation just pray from your heart just pray come and pray you watch chronovirus doesn't seem to want to leave the planet and while they're still dealing with that another virus broke out i think in the country of guinea which is just as virulent as coronavirus while they're still dealing with that ebola resurfaced somewhere i'm not even sure which country now i think it's iron coast that they've had one or two cases of ebola and uh the world is just scared and you know with these viruses you just hear that somebody has it you didn't know when it crept you didn't know when it stepped in and on top of all these health issues you saw the storm that came across europe and the kind of rain that washed houses in countries that felt that their 21st century most secured so advanced not needing god and it washed away houses and people 169 died somewhere between germany sweden denmark and some others while you're looking at that as i'm talking to you right now the civil war and up to four african nations this war in northern ethiopia they're fighting each other there's war in uh sudan this war i don't even know which country to mention there's no war if there's no water there's kidnapping if there's no kidnapping there are terrorists this year alone over 3 thousand people have lost their homes in the country of nigeria from terrorists and kidnappers and then when you look at afghanistan the sudden invasion of these guys who have no boundaries as to what they can do to anybody but you know the world doesn't even realize that some people have opened the gates of hell and all they are seen is the beginning of challenges i haven't taught the message i'm preaching now i was going to put together for igoc but i felt a strong leader tonight to let you know that in the midst of all this there is a name above all names and you must learn how to trust in the name of jesus no matter what happens and what news you hear we know that the name of jesus is stronger than all names are more powerful than all names his name is a tower his name is our shelter his name is our protection his name is our care so when you read of rumors and rumors and battles in our world you should know this one truth he takes care of what belongs to him his name is the name for our salvation somebody say my salvation the bible says acts chapter 4 verse 12 salvation is found in no one else for there is no other name on the heaven given to men by which we must be saved by the name of jesus because of his name we have salvation we have the forgiveness of sin acts chapter 4 verse 38 also tells us we have the forgiveness of sin and because of the name of jesus mark chapter 16 verse 15 to 18 we can use that name to heal the sick set captives free so tonight when i begin to make strong tower declarations but those who are in the hall here tonight and many of you who are out there in the various corners of the earth i want you to know this is a word from the lord for you you shall be protected you shall be covered nowhere performed against you will prosper in the mighty name of jesus i said in the name of jesus he's our strong tower mark 16 verse 15 and 15 to 18 says he said to them go into all the world preach the good news to all creation and then in verse 17 it says and these signs will accompany those who believe in my name they will drive out demons in my name in his name jesus they will speak in a new tongue in the name of jesus again verse 18 he says they will pick up snakes and with their with their hands and they will drink deadly poison it will not hurt them at all they will place their hands on the sick and they will get well some will say the name of jesus so because of that name because there's power in this name wonderful things powerful things will be done so when we pray strong tower prayers tonight and i want you to be ready god will shield you god will protect you he will be your shield in this season in our world i want you to know you're rocking is still coming on the wall it's shaking you're still coming an intensity of battle like the world have never known is still coming and guess what all you are seeing is nothing it's just the beginning of the beginning of sorrows jesus said that before he comes there will be something called the beginning of sorrows even that have not started this is like a preamble this is like an introduction but believer doesn't need to worry because we are covered under that mighty name we are covered there'll be some supernatural signs you will see in the middle of all this with all the battle with all the violence and destruction but the name of the lord the strong tower will cover your house will protect your life and as you have come to this place today and we make declarations today any arrow that was targeted that you will not work so we are told that in this name we will open our mouth or pray in the language of the holy ghost what we establish will be established what we declare will come to pass what we say will happen and at the name of jesus every name is bowed the whole world must have their hope in his name because it is the name of the lord that is the hope of the world let me just summarize this message briefly because i want to take the time to make this declaration number one the name of the lord is a strong tower powerfully providing safety for you no matter what you hear no matter what you see in our world today the name of jesus will be your protection number two the name of jesus above all names somebody say above all names the bible says in the book the bible says anything that can be named so if it has a name it is below the name of jesus whether it is in the realm of sickness if it has a name whatever they call it it is below the name of jesus if it is in the if it is in kingdoms if it has a name it is below the name of jesus if it is uh all these various religions in the world if it has a name it is below the name of jesus someone say amen the third thing i want you to remember today is never forget to call on the name of jesus when you don't know what to even do call the name the fourth thing i want you to remember is that this name is the name of power it isn't just a name may shakespeare will say what's in the name that which you call a rose by any name will smell the same not bad not the name of jesus the name of jesus is not for identification it is actually for proof the name of jesus he didn't get his name by his daddy waking up and say what shall we call this child you know most of us that's what we do we wake up we say okay i had a nice name the other day and you gave the name jesus got his name in three ways conquests inheritance and confirm it he got his name by conquest by inheritance and by confirming he conquered satan he conquered satan he conquered sickness he conquered diseases then inheritance the bible says and god has given him a name that is above all names that at the name of jesus every name must do what bow then the third way he got his name conquest inheritance and then confirm and god conferred on him here in the united kingdom we confirm on people either to become so-and-so or lord so and so even if they have no man or to be lord over they'll be lord over their apartments in chelsea but jesus got his name by confirmant god gave him a name which when sickness hears that name it bows when diseases hear the name the bow glory to god then i want you to also remember this call on his name when you need signs when you need wonders when you need the gifts of the spirit when you need healings then the next one i want to call on his name when you sense a name when you need your when you want your prayers to be answered he said anything you shall ask using my name using my name it shall be done for you the next truth i want you to remember is speak the name of jesus to the nations because it is because he is their hope the name of jesus is the hope of nations the name of jesus is the hope of nations and in the coming days and months and years to come many who have put their hope in politicians and systems will come to find that look all the things we know to do are not enough to save mankind when the world and systems decide to shake the world oh i didn't even remember i missed all this disaster that was happening was also fired i wouldn't stop in greece and fire that wouldn't stop burning in spain that just doesn't make sense you will expect that with the best of advancement in equipment to quench fires people have to run if people have to just run natural phenomena is not just natural it is a pointer to spiritual phenomena every time you see a flooding it is a sign of demonic infestation did you hear me i said did you hear me every time particularly when okay let me get put your fasten your seatbelt every time a president a prime minister makes a decision that comes boom against the bible you watch either the river in that nation will flood or there'll be some strange phenomena to let you know that even nature is reacting even nature is reacting i want to mention with president in the united states but as soon as he passed same-sex law the mississippi river overflowed and flooded cities and got people to have to park their load every time you see natural phenomena that reacts that way it is because someone have tampered with the principles of god and with the principles of god's word particularly that affects destiny but in the midst of all this there is a strong tower for the people of god which they can run into and they are safe when we pray tonight your family is covered your future is covered your life is covered everything connected to you is covered shout your good amen and when i see everything connected to you is covered isn't it interesting that kings in the days of noah were not covered powerful wealthy men in the days of noah were not covered but the creepy crawly caterpillar found space and noah's ark and even turtles that couldn't move fast and snails that could have moved fast found safety because they yielded himself themselves to this man who had created a strong tower so let this name be the name you call let it be the name on your lips and there'll
