it the southwest bedroom, there's--underneath
the box springs, there's a assault rifle
and looks like a .357. (Hernandez)
It's an A--
it appears to be an SKS. This is more of a-- more than just
a self-defense weapon. This is for doing damage. This is a Ruger .44 caliber that was also underneath the bed
with that weapon. Luckily for us, he told us that we scared him coming in the house today,
so he didn't grab that. So that's something that
we're up against all the time. At this point in the execution
of the search warrant, we've recovered
a good quantity of marijuana out of a vehicle outside
that's registered to the owner here at the residence. We've also got several
firearms in the residence, one of which
is responding back as stolen. All in all,
it's going well. We're getting some dope,
we're getting some bad guys, and that's what we need to do. Step on up in there. Watch your head. It's a--yeah,
it's about a pound of marijuana that's inside this bag. It could be a little more
or a little less. A lot of this currency
was recovered under the stove, so he-- again, this is
another good indication of how drug dealers
conceal their currency and their products. They hide them in places where it's hard to get to,
number one, and in a location
where people, they think, hopefully won't be looking. Well, it was
another successful warrant. We got the bad guy in custody, we took some guns
off the street, and we got his drugs. So, all in all,
quite pleased with the outcome. (Farris)
Today we're down here celebrating
my father's 65th birthday with my family. We all got together
down at my sister's restaurant and her husband's, Jazz,
down on State Line Road. We're also going
to drop the news that my wife and I are expecting
our first child, so pretty exciting. I'm ready
to get this off my chest. <i> [kids shouting]</i> Matty, here. [lively conservation] Make a wish. [cheers and applause] <i> (Farris)
We got the family out here.</i> When you get some time <i>and get through
cooking up everything,</i> after, I'm going to make
a kind of an announcement. An announcement,
a big one, I think I know
what that is, but I'll probably
hold the secret. You'll keep the secret.
Okay. That's awesome. I got a little
inkling, maybe. <i>[laughs]</i> [lively conversation] "Happy Birthday.
Sorry I'm not here <i> "to celebrate
your birthday this year,</i> "but I will be here
next year. <i> I can't wait to meet you.
Love, baby Farris."</i> I can't believe it. Oh, my God. [shrieks] [applause] Oh, my God. Been holding it in
for a few days now. Easy, Mom. We'll find out
in two weeks. All right.
Congratulations. Happy birthday. (Farris)
I feel better telling everybody and being able to tell him like
this on my dad's birthday is pretty important,
so it feels good. Captioning by<font color="#00FF00"> CaptionMax
