Jury selection begins in trial of accused triple murderer Brice Rhodes

after 7 years a suspected killer is getting his day in court WDRB Stefon Johnson tells us about the stern warning Bryce roads received from the court Stefan behind me Bryce rhods is on trial for a murder since the arrest his court appearances have been disruptive and pretty much unpredictable but the judge has been very clear about what will happen if RADS is not on his best behavior because the shooting death of Christopher Jones Bryce Rose is charged with killing 40-year-old Christopher Jones and then Brothers 14-year-old Larry Ordway and 16-year-old Maurice Gordon prosecutors say he killed the teens to keep them quiet about Jones's murder so neither search for he's been locked up at Metro correction since 2016 but even Behind Bars he continues to rack up charges these are rather insignificant uh charges against this gentleman then in in his mind in his perspective while in custody roads has been charged with attacking Corrections Officers inmate threw urine through the crack of his door striking officer BRS in the head neck and left ear and his court appearances have been disruptive and full of outburst against detectives the prosecution even the judge your job is not to worry about me your job is to do your job and his job his job your job is to do your job not to worry about me that's what I'm saying roach has even been known to blast his own attorney as far as him he really doesn't have anything to do with this because he we not we're not on speaking terms and we don't he's not in my best interest the victim's families have been waiting for more than S years for this trial to begin they didn't deserve that man they know child deserves that Hey sir uh I just want to go back to the first thing about uh about him being removed from my case roach has had plenty to say leading up to the trial but he hasn't been the only one talking now say he's up car at the judge Jackie party is grandmother of the teens who were killed and spoke out about rh's Behavior after one of his hearings before I even go to court I pray to ask God to help me to maintain my composure because I don't know where this fool is coming off at in day one of Road's trial more than 230 people were questioned by attorneys as potential jurors roads has been warned he'll be outfitted with shackles capable of shocking him if he missed behaves in court if you decide that you want to try out the CU um and you're still disruptive then it'll just be you're going back you know for the day but we'll do that every day opening statements are expected to happen sometime on Tuesday afternoon a case like really unlike any we've seen Stefan will continue to follow it thanks
