i think there's an alien that works for nike because the future i'm sorry hi guys i'm joe coyne this is my life in sneakers [Music] i started collecting the day i saw the jordan threes it was 1988 89 i think so i'm at foot locker 115 bucks and i bought them for 55 bucks off this kid named wilson i think he sold me a 10 i was an eight and a half i didn't care though i was rocking them that was the start of my love for jordans every year after that i just couldn't believe what they were making because it didn't look like anything else after the three this is what i wore on my last special coming in hot so if you're on netflix check out that special you see i'm rocking prestos the reason why i wanted to show off the prestos these to me man this is an art piece right here i don't think anyone can top this shoe i'm sorry i'm biased but this is a masterpiece you can put this on display and it's beautiful virgil killed this this is the best collabo ever it's a beautiful shoe i wore it all year when i was on tour preparing for coming in hot and then when i got to the venue to shoot my special i got the all white ones because in my head i was going to wear this solid blue outfit with some white presto and i was in the green room my son just looked at me goes you can't wear those dad like literally minutes before i'm going on stage he goes you need to rock them presto i had to call my friend that owns truest in hawaii and literally he was on his way to the venue he was going to come to the show and i go man you need to turn back around you need to open up your shop you need to get me some of these prestos now and we had to delay the show for about 30 minutes as he drove back opened up his store grabbed some pretzels came back ran into me i'm literally like hopping my way to the stage and slipping these on everyone always asks me yo what are you rocking what are those so thank you to my son sexiest shoe all right this hands down is the sexiest shoe ever made right here these are the bread 11s man i remember when these first came out i was like oh my god what is that are you kidding me look at this i think they're made in italy of course they are right like look at this thing you know i mean i always remember you know space jam with this i just remember michael's saying i want to make a shoe that you can wear with the tux hands down i had to rock these for my second special lights out so if you watch lights out i'm wearing the breads i had four pair of these backstage in the green room and the reason why we were taking two shows at night and i just remember if i crease these i don't want to tape the section with a big giant crease across the toe so i just want to make sure they were always fresh and clean man so this was the fourth pair that i never got to i never wore it so my top three jordans would always have to be the threes of course the fours the and then of course the bread elevens this is my number three all right man so look this is this is my newest pair you know what i mean why wouldn't you buy this i mean what is this i had to have this this is this is that shoe that you just gotta have like you look at it and go all right yeah that's not for running at all you just wear that you know it's it's it's it's that throwback look it's uh it's new it's it's i can't even explain this shoe but i had to have it i remember the minute i saw it i go i have to have this shoe i haven't even rocked this [ __ ] i just got it it's brand new so can you guys open up the economy so i could uh get back on stage please you guys wear your mask so we can start performing again because i need to rock these [Music] asap all right you guys the supreme fives so all right here's the thing about supreme right um they just kind of put their logo on the shoe and now it's a supreme collabo and everyone gets it that didn't happen with this one this is the best supreme collabo ever i'm sorry i might be biased uh you might disagree but this right here uh unbelievable subliminal right there in the mesh i love this one the reason why i love this one so much you can rock this with anything okay this one's just sick to look at i just don't know what to wear with okay so uh don't wear it that often but i'm so happy i have this and i don't think that many people have it so it's right here baby come on can't mess with these the shoe is for me the most important part of the whole outfit it's gotta look crispy it's gotta look nice it's gotta have that wow factor i want people to look at and go you know what was joe where was that it's the most important article of clothing you could possibly have on stage you know for the guy there's not much to represent you i guess you know what i mean like i always say this when you're on stage like the comedian like this is our business like this is it this is this is your identity this is you there's not much for us to show off other than your watch game and your shoe game so very important this is my childhood right here you know what i mean this is this is literally me uh waiting in line this is me going to the shoe conventions this is me this is my life on the road trying to find those secret spots that were selling shoes and train shoes you know what i mean i went with the olympic ones he's met a lot man this is kind of like my whole childhood dreaming about being a stand-up comic and also loving jays as a kid and just putting those two together when i shot my first special and i was so in love with jay's man like go do your research all right nobody was wearing jays filming their specials so this means a lot to me because when my son was a kid he had no idea what shoe culture was all about and now my son's 17 and he knows more about it than me so it's kind of like i passed the torch to my son and uh and this was that shoe that started it all right here i love these these aren't going anywhere hey guys i'm joe coy thanks for uh hanging out and looking at
