know legit but they're made to signify the New York location that they have not to Peter and Eric nice I did the Nike SB dog walkers that's what you did there this is a really extreme version of when someone goes on IG and a at the grapes on like Jack Hanna but sneaker version boom there's Nike SB I shout out the black sheep and I got the flexing my boy Lincoln hear shout out some avoid Dylan for letting me use here's amazing dog so what do you got on the off-white Presto's okay about it god they look like there's a lot of there's a lot of a wear and tear on this one I took this one everywhere I wore it on this special and I got three more of the same okay and parent thing I appreciate the wear and tear for anybody who thinks that my sneakers last week were a little musty crusty and dusty please like I said I have lifetime supply of those Reebok baits shoutout to Ron so they're coming back you know what I mean oh this we were your kid similar thing bak boys gr stuff white gum Reebok Classic 11 walk walk walk boy I want you to get that Reebok bag he's went four weeks in a row everybody yeah name one American that wears Reeboks four weeks to four different Reeboks in a month those are the classics he's the man you got that other way let's talk sneaker news first thing we're discussing here Kawhi Leonard looks like he's suing Nike he just filed a lawsuit saying that they copyrighted his logo without his permit law the five to five fingers yeah basically it's kind of interesting he's saying he originally designed this logo for himself and that Nike kind of tweaked it a little bit and he let Nike use it and then without his knowledge like he filed a copyright for it and now he wants to use it you kawaiguy now I am I posted this video of that that last shot that he did where they gave I thought that was like man that was like a throwback man I was I love that that shot but I hope he sent it through email and then just pulled a picture out of his pocket and give it to Nike because then you don't have a case yeah but if you got a paper trail then you know your Nikes gonna lose I think New Balance may secretly be behind this you know cuz they have him on the brand now yeah if they want to use his logo yeah it may not be Kawhi himself I don't know this isn't substantiated but sure I would assume if he's signed with the new sneaker brand they went right into the conspiracy they wanted yeah can I see one thing but if New Balance gets involved you know Nike will just buy your company right oh god I'm just saying it's the one the wrong piece you want to mess with I hope New Balance sends some shots in this and kind of keeps things interesting yeah yes but Co I did say that in the lawsuit that he the reason is it's happening is because he wants to use it on his own apparel and footwear going forward so we are you a New Balance guy at all no I haven't been have you on the Jordan thing we had Jordans and then of course the clavos I've been in love with okay speaking of Jordans shattered backboards they're making another version yeah we take a picture of his pictures to take a look the new ones no I haven't this so this is the third shattered backboards in the cars that you remember though I have the orange back yes so did make it another one they won't stop it's actually technically the fourth one oh because there's a satin in women's one yeah okay those nice third 1% for men which is the one I just showed you that looks like a used condom to me it looks like it's like covered in like amniotic fluid right like what what take what does this make you feel I don't know you might love this and you might you're gonna hate me I actually like this one you that one more than that yeah I knew you would you love it more than not more the first one but I do like that one really just just is that it just a horrible shot like is it it's like that's the one thing is we always got a caveat these things because there's these early leaker photos that come out and you know they're gonna look a lot better later on yeah more than I hate to shoot potato right now someone said it may someone was speculating that it's maybe made to look like glass and that's why it looks like that this is way too shiny yeah it's a little shiny like running out of inspirations for like I mean that that for sure what's supposed to be come on I think I will say is maybe that the leather will give like really good like we're down really well yeah I think so maybe but if it's shiny weather I don't think it's gonna wear well at all I don't know what they almost look like they come like pre shrink-wrapped which makes a lot of sense you just think like the flight club put it on the box and send it so you shut up a flight club or not or you go to like you paid crazy retail yeah I pay the Risa uh whatever the resale is I don't care man let's be good that money I just I don't care and I well here's another here's here's another thing I do I throw the boxes away man what I don't care I wear my shoe yeah I wear my shoe cuz I wear the shoe right I don't I don't stock for kids I really do every time I buy my I just I tell them to throw the Box away and they're like are you sure you put them on all sales are final I know I'm good put them on right in the store and walk and I want to walk out whether we have you ever resold sneakers or snow shoes though I worked for champs I think I worked for a locker only for like a couple weeks champs I was there for a couple months we can go to the discount pretty heavily oh yeah for sure you're making that good minimum wage yeah one percent commission yeah exactly they didn't give us any Commission at all all right when I was working at athlete's foot that was where I put my first pair of Jordans on layaway the four is light blue I wish I could put your lame-ass going on to things from that era though stranger things X Nike is the elaboration that's happening yeah thanks God you know I I'm into it but I tried looking for the we don't want to upset Netflix here yeah no not ever yeah they're the best but no one coming to Netflix soon there's a Nike Cortez in there oh there's a nike tail went in there and I think okay great what I interrupt you does the Cortez just have like a logo stranger things it's like off to the right high school though the Hawkins high school logo I think but let's bring it all back to Reebok for one second if we can't and bait as well because Reebok and bait already did this a stranger things collaboration you know so was it good I mean it was it was okay but like it just looks like Nikes a follower world these days they'll really cuttings that doesn't cut his colon I don't know would you take him I wouldn't pay money for if I got it for free you yeah okay but Joe I know you said you wore these on the Netflix special is that right yeah what's the name in special it's uh coming in hot it's raining right now how do you pick out your shoes for a special this one my son picked out I was gonna walk out with some blue her ah cheese I saw you did the bread Elevens and one in one of your special yeah yeah that like a conscious decision you felt like wanted to feel like Mike on stage like man that's a old special yeah dude it was just like my thing too always brought Jordans all the way through and then this special I've just you tried to happen to the community to like into your comedy we hope that we hope that pays off for you I wouldn't be mad at you master fit I think you made a better move with that thank you thanks for sure for the one comparison we really got to ask you though Brendan Schaub are you a bigger sneaker head than him ah Brett he's really into it right now i keeps but it was me I'm the original Brendan sneaker you rock Doge only bro I was doing this way before you were spoiling your dad's nuts when I was doing this but Jerry Seinfeld doing the sneakers back in the day because Jerry see Jerry and I came up with the same time Jerry was rocking them old man were they the New Balance Nike all the time really yeah he would always rock those on the show but she met Jeff oh never met him Oh after the special this happened yeah I want to know how you kind of got into Jordans in the first place you know I had the you know the FLIR sticker still from 84 I got 20 boxes of wheedies with the posters are like Jordan was my guy what was the first pair was at those fives you had in that photo oh no my first pair was the the blue threes I bought those from a friend at school and I bought it used so that's how I got though what every true blue yes right yeah and then my second pair were the black like I see that right yeah I still have those pairs sitting around they're gone your love of Jordan goes far people recognize that though you've seen people after your shows have you signed yeah how did that start and what was that like those came off my feet so I actually gave them oh you gave it to yeah then and then and then it just started like this thing where people are walking up to me like you know can I have your shoes that way and then now they're bringing their shoes and I'm sorry I'm when you okay no but okay if you would we have a special pair of Jordans here hit come on please these are actually these are actually real these are real they're customs they were customs by mosh spongebob have been a part of the set cool would it be possible for you to be part of our set let's get an official jo koy signature on the sacrilegious when you sign a pair of Jordans not at all my favorite thing was taking myself every year I'd send them to Jordan camp because Jordan always signs one thing for every kid and I brought you know breads every time for my son good job yeah and he would sign it on the tote which is where he's supposed to sign it and then the one time I gave my son my size he signs it on the back I'm like Mike why'd you do that sneakers back from yeah yeah oh go back in line stay at the camp is it true that Michael Jordan said [ __ ] them kids quote from tubes [Music] then I don't know if he said that I do remember him saying a kid goes who would win on 101 you or Kobe Bryant and he goes I would win because Kobe stole all my moves and all the kids went oh oh and it goes it's true yeah so we got some MJ fits we want to ask your opinion on because we know Michael Jordan is such an incredible dresser how would you finish alone Hancock on their side a cameraman yeah you got a book you got to put that one into the camera I got you brother thank you starting fit number one here what do you think about this fit oh can I just see so I've never been a fan of Michael Jordan's outfit man I was never a fan of his look I don't know what that is I feel like it's two outfits like he's like I forgot my great coat where's my dark coat yeah and they yeah they I mean I we have some other photos of Michael here okay so this is the error of MJ you know yeah this I remember this but I also remember hear me saying to myself did he tuck his t-shirt into his jeans Oh like you remember saying I remember saying it early cuz he would always wear it real high and tuck it real deep so even back then you knew that you appreciated the sneakers but the outfits were yeah his casual clothing a little bit being such like a fan of Mike like seeing that he just dresses yeah I'm like Mike what do you do important people do Kay you realize it other people care anyone cares there's just a Mike as Mike yeah it's my right to some dude look he's been doing him Mike can never put a decent hour together you click off Joe I play but I throw the clubs more than I do hit the ball I keep buying these sets all the Jordan golf shoes - I didn't buy those no one more Jordan please I actually wore this exact outfit no you did just put his face on video clothes last week I feel like he I feel like he pulled this off I don't look I you know what here's a here's a bad thing we keep forgetting that he's six foot six yes so I think that's and now that he's retired he's probably put on a few pounds Michael Jordan come on you can't dress six foot six it's hard right it might work have you met him in person never better no you didn't say that's not a figure did you did it yeah we also saw to that you buy multiples of every single sneaker yeah like what's what's that about especially the ones you know I mean let her and the twos they tend to crease right away across the toolbox so he wears to Utah so that's probably about three or four times on stage where do you stand on the force shields you know the little plastic thing you put in the toe box to fight the creases you know I don't do it I'm with you yeah just let it go I'm with you what do you do with the pairs then after like I give them away yeah yeah they're real man I want to talk about the sneaker obsession to Philippines because we have we have a big following out there I'm told the Philippines is a huge basketball you're like I love the names of the the PBA team yeah juicy juicy giant hot dogs the Aetna Sorrento's it's all very like the commercialism is right there yeah well that's the name of the team - its corporate sponsors actually own the team so you've got like San Miguel team you know their beer yeah what sneaker scene out there they got everything that we have here it's so cool that the culture is the same - you know I mean not only are they rocket it but they're living it - no I wouldn't actually a question about agent sneaker culture and the stereotypes that come along with it are you growing or no I mean I feel that there they are yeah I mean it's stereotypes and everything I'm asking you this because well of course you you know Philippine oh yeah whatever and and you love Jordan yeah he's a Philippine that's cool that's just one it's just one bottle of wine but where did these stereotypes come from it I'll just speak on Filipinos right knows what two words to sum it up Imelda Marcos if you don't know who she is people just like a tons of shoes right yeah and she had I think she had 40,000 shoes or so like that she had an entire house dedicated to shoes so that was more than wall way yeah and we're not talking like payless shoes Gucci's she had Prada she had all that stuff as you can tell it's in our blood it that's in our corner today I speaking getting tons of shoes how'd you get your Nike plug I don't even have a Nike play on that my head and I shameful that's crazy even know that you used to hook me up with Jays a lot but then it just was to the point where I was like I don't want to wait for them I just know I can afford it slow yeah I know you went to the Nike employee store to back in the day with it was that a big moment for you the first time you yeah they gave me like a huge credit really well oh my go I never get credit that's really weird but really I'm gonna talk to some people about that but go on you're kidding me right now that's the truth I think you're just doing this this is a flex going you're good maybe we should stop rockin the Reebok Classic they gotta convince me with my dude he's rockin oh yeah they just gave me this huge credit and this is when I first started going on the road and I remember it was my first time in Portland to do a show it was just a blessing man I feel two shopping carts bro I even dip into my wallet it was just it was all paid for incredible yeah it was must be nice yeah it was it was great Joe every week here on the show we punished somebody who had the worst take in the last episode as decided by the commenters on YouTube and we make them switch out their shoes for a terrible pair of shoes turns out it is me this week for any number of any number of yeah so Joe we also do a segment called flipper skip yes and drip is it looks good you Michael Jordan whatever flip is you like it but you will wear so you resell it yeah and then skip you don't [ __ first shoe that we're going to talk about is the flat net Jordan fours this is a drip flipper skip for you say there's like four different colors this is one of them yeah all right you're skipping to Jordan yeah I can't I can't do it because of this like modern upgrade - yeah something about the new buck on the floor just looks so actually on an earlier episode we talked about the shoe in Action Bronson told Brendan that he should wear this shoe like make into a beach that's yeah that's the only circumstance in which I'm going to trip this otherwise it's a skip through the Jordan for such a like technical looking silhouette they almost think that fine it would look good on it but not quite well T yeah it's a skip of the one of the nice thing about the Jordan Ford that's kind of big and boxy you know of a silhouette and you kind of took that away and it kind of kills like the cool appeal to it yeah I'm gonna drip just because I feel like you can I can get a fit off in there you're on the beach US Open maybe maybe the US or joke or a comedy special whoo I like that I already like no you know what I'm gonna change my answer - you got tickets for us yes always come on man it was it moving for we got the pad of Jordan sevens I start with you well did your flipper skin ah when I first saw this shoe I wasn't so into I thought like maybe just they put the pad a thing on the side but colorways dope to be the original Brendan dripless get actually feel a similar way the wealthy does at first I was kind of confused as to why Prada was collaborating on Air Jordan 7 but there's some real backstory to it appreciates a good story so I'm not gonna buy it but but it is it I will say it is a drip okay so it's a drip but not for me or he's Caucasian take account of these yeah Joe your trail from Nike it's a very Brennan done shoe very Brendan Brendan I'm gonna start with you Brendan done drip flip or skip Pegasus trail 36 I really like the shape of the Pegasus line right now full disclosure I'm getting a free pair of these and going on and I can press trip around them so I am quite biased here but I do appreciate this shoe I don't like the big logo on the medial overall though it is a drift you like the sunset swoosh music to my ears Joe drapes that that's definitely a drip I just love that shoe I got I don't have that particular one but I love I love that you got the right
