JJ Tunnel vs Mikey Tunnel Survival Tiny Battle in Minecraft Challenge - Maizen

let's Dive Right In today we're holding an underground hideout building competition sounds like fun Mikey and I will each make our own secret hideout then we'll take turns checking out each other's builds all right let's do this there's just one last thing you see that giant white line well I'm going to build on this side of it and you can build on the other side okay sure our Creations are meant to be time to get started so I should probably get started with a frame something like hmm like this yeah this is a good start okay that should be big enough now to lay down the floor of the house I'm going to be using Birchwood almost done [Music] there all right it's wall building time this is how I like to make them foreign [Music] that's looking pretty good now over here I think I'm gonna put one big window yeah I like it and I'll put another one over here next I need a bed I'm thinking this corner here but the room is looking super empty I need to add some more furniture I'll start by putting these in the corner and how about an anvil over here and I'm gonna squeeze in a cauldron and fill it with water okay the house is looking great I think it's finished which means it's time to get started on the entrance to my underground hideout let's do this everyone knows that a secret hideout needs a secret entrance that's why I'm going to hide a lever back here [Music] is that good so what I'm thinking is I'll place the lever here and then cover it up [Music] it's perfect the info blocks the view of the lever but you can still reach it through this little Gap okay great this is going to be the starting point for the secret passage that leads to The Hideout right so I'm going to need some sticky pistons in a minute but first I'll set up the Redstone circuit [Music] hmm all right that's good [Music] open up this temporarily [Music] oh that's what I'll do I'll hide the secret passage underneath the crafting table that should be deep enough now to lay down my sticky pistons yeah that's good for the first one then [Music] what hmm okay I'm gonna go with this kind of setup now I'll place this here and I'll run the circuit back and around [Music] to put down some Birchwood I like the look at this there and done all right time to test it out to see if it works perfect now let's try this from the inside so you hit the lever and then the crafting table gets pulled under the wall revealing the secret passage that leads to the underground hideout this is great but people are going to need a way back to the surface I'll set things up so that you can use the secret passage as an entrance and an exit I'll start down here [Music] okay so I'm going to make a wall of obsidian around this sticky piston Just Gonna Fill in all the gaps [Music] a little deeper [Music] all right that's good [Music] hmm [Music] oh great Arcane levitators are cool they're easy to use too like this [Music] just relax and get carried upward see how's that hmm yeah not bad this is a lot easier faster and nicer than the latter [Music] I'll surround this with walls of glass so the levitator is even easier to use [Music] all right nice now would be a good time to start working on the next level minus this [Music] there okay then I'll do the same thing for the right side [Music] okay cool nice all done Mikey will have to choose whether to climb the slow tall ladder or take the easy route up the levitator the choice is his to make but only one is the right answer tricky right I think the easier pass should be the wrong choice it won't take you to the top yeah that sounds good and that means hmm right if he chooses the levitators then right here I'll have tripwire hooks that when triggered will set off a gnarly trap hmm [Music] there once you pass through here you'll set up the trip wire and then it will send a signal up through the Redstone circuit how's that yeah the Arcane levitator trap is looking great everything is set in place perfectly but how about a dispenser okay here's the dispenser like that now I'll test it out with some Redstone inside nice it works now when you're tempted to take the levitator all the way to the top this trap activates nice next I'll swap the Redstone Dust with TNT if Mikey thinks he can take the easy way in this treehouse he'll get blown up with dynamite sweet okay now for the ladder root that's definitely the way to go first off after making the big climb he'll get a reward how does three Golden Apple sound and then he'll have to climb even higher I think this time I'll build him a water elevator to get up to the next level that'd be cool [Music] this will take him up way faster than the latter that'll be nice I'll use these signs and place them on every other block like this it's going to be a real piece of cake to get up to the next floor now this part [Music] one more and then I'll fill it with water don't know I forgot to close the front okay better now I'll fill it in all done once he reaches the top I'm gonna make a path going this way I'll make it out of glass [Music] [Applause] there now for the next challenge just for fun I love Mikey choose between three Ledges for a leap of faith I'll put a command block down at the end of the walkways right here it's always fun having Mikey choose his fate [Music] hmm [Music] yeah so from here Mikey will choose which command block to jump on top of only one of the three blocks will be the right choice that lets him cross the platform to the other side I think the exit door should go here that'll be the goal okay now then each block needs a different command to use for different endings the one on the right won't lead to the goal it will activate a lava trap if he jumps onto this command block lava will appear and swallow up Mikey instantly this is the command we need to enter he won't expect a thing lastly I'll need a wooden pressure plate here as for the middle I think that will be the correct choice if you pick this oh I know starting from the command block leading all the way to the edge a path will appear let's see hmm maybe gold the path going across will be beautifully paved in Gold let's see how it looks when it's activated take the leap of faith and whoa that's awesome cross the beautiful path to the door on the other side then out to the next area now if he chooses the one on the left Mikey will end up trapped in a cage [Music] like this I think yep then after the Trap activates let's drop an anvil on him from really high up hmm how's this then [Music] hmm that should be good first it will imprison Mikey in a cage then it will drop a heavy Anvil from the sky and crush him don't try this one at home okay the right and left sides are traps and the center is the way forward jump on the middle and the path will appear let's see now I want to build a little hallway out here first a thin walkway [Music] keep going like this hmm then I'll cover it like this to make a hallway [Music] all right now over here after leaving the hallway I want to build a slime parkour Zone you know what that means put here once I'm gonna give us everything I can to break into your underground hideout don't forget to switch back to survival mode oh yeah right let's go okay let the games begin careful keep your guard up hmm it looks like a nice normal house cozy huh so there's a painting a bed is that diamond armor for me if you want it what's mine is yours you can use anything in the house well thanks I'll take it what am I waiting for I might as well equip it right now whoa it really suits you JJ now what's inside this chest why don't you take a look don't mind if I do oh apples that's nice yeah I'll say there's more stuff in here so keep looking oh really like behind this painting good guess but nope how about in the furnace an iron no a diamond sword amazing nice find you're great at this hang on you were supposed to build an underground hideout not just an ordinary house there should be a secret entrance somewhere around here but where I don't know hey what are you looking at hmm there's something off about that corner and Mikey what you're acting Shifty all right Mikey time for you to try out my secret hideout wishing you luck buddy whoa this house is fabulous I'm gonna go inside if you don't mind I went for a modern look it's really nice on the inside too thanks what there's nothing in here it's like practically empty seriously there's no sign of a secret hideout did you forget to make one no I remembered the entrance is in here somewhere but it's very well hidden so look carefully oh there's a lever inside does it do something cool I bet it does well you can pull the lever if you want Mikey but it's really dangerous dangerous yeah are you just saying that what if it makes treasure rain down I'll take my chances I'm gonna pull it uh three two one two no no where's the Cheshire we have to get out of here Mikey quick run as fast as you can wait what's going on you activated the self-destruct mechanism we have to escape hurry get back up to the surface it's all happening so fast I know but keep running keep running okay is this far enough what um
