y'all wonderful and I love families being here in fact last 34 years I have lived in Yazoo City Mississippi me and Mama just moved back to the old homeplace route for Liberty Mississippi I've been telling you about it well I live back down there now oh I got electricity oh I got running water I got rule TV on my satellite 200 channels either the great big Hotel in New York City the other night they got 9 channels I got 200 and they called me a hick and what thrills my soul is for that boy right there to look just like his daddy you see that you're that beautiful put lean over I want the camera to get you two together see it smile that's what it's all about and I'm gonna prove to you about bloodlines and y'all going to be my introduction to people worrying about what they may catch and you ain't gonna catch much Sep what's your mom and daddy put in you when you're gone I don't move back to route for Liberty Mississippi and folks who come by say old J it must be wonderful all your young uns are grown and left home and you and Homer lean here by yourself I said it is wonderful if that dog yum young uns left here just died everything I'd be perfect 1:04 come by the other day and he said oh gee I can't hardly wait my last youngins in high school I'm looking forward to being home by myself I said friend let o Jer tell you some facts you ain't acquainted with your young uns are gonna get grown and they gonna leave home but they coming back and they're gonna bring more welcome yeah your youngins they gonna leave home but they're coming back my grandson come to see me Thanksgiving he said granddaddy will you get me equipped to go deer hunting I said certainly you my grandson that's what I'm for now folks I didn't go deer hunting when I was kid we didn't handle deers or no turkeys they're all over my place now and I still hunt what I growed up honey and I'm a perch jerker you sick Jerry don't you don't want them boats and get out there and sling at banging and try to show out Jerry's just like a goose he wakes up in a new world every morning he can't fish good as me but deer hunting I don't go but my grandson is the granddaddy will you get me equipped to go deer hunting eat he said I need a 3006 or 249 William doo doo mojo Doolittle whim didn't he named off and I said me and I got to check in them rifles and I had a conference with my banker I bought him a 3006 I said well you got your rifle now son going deer hunting uh-huh said I need a grunt I said what he said I need a grunt it's made by strut I said what does the grunt do said you sound that grunt sound like a doe deer and that old old deer boogity boogity boogity here I said wait a minute now you sound the grunt yeah and it'll sound like a dope deer grunting and I don't bucket here and Here Come Boogedy Boogedy Boogedy Boogedy I said that don't seem like y'all doing this fire to me I said where they got your rifles you got your grunt going deer hunting said I need a scent I said what what does this scent do he said you put that sin out smells just like a doe deer that old buck can't resist it you'll smell it and here come as I know you ain't playing fire now he said granddaddy when he was a lot younger Courtin grandmother didn't grandmother put on some that sweet smelling scent to get you attention I said she show her did in fact not only did she get my attention but she thought a craving on your granddaddy and I got up as close to her she let me but she didn't shoot man do it I love y'all because you ain't a bunch of pessimist I love y'all cause you working folks you know it is a tradition in the United States of America if you ain't lazy you'll be respected wonderful tradition we got a lot of tradition in this country especially in the south some of it ain't amount to doodly-squat but that tradition it's decent and we do it orderly I am a traditionalist I want to keep it oh you find tradition everywhere I did the theater-in-the-round at Boston Massachusetts Cohasset theater with the Hank jr. in Loretto the guy introduced me said put your hands together and bring Grand Ole Opry star Jarek Lauer welcome him to the land of the bean and the card God in Boston is a fish and they eat it with the beans wonderful I didn't try to change that tradition when I was their fan let them have a tradition in the south we have a tradition to eat and grits you know like them don't eat them but shut your mouth so I was doing a show in Memphis Tennessee had a tailwind got to the airport early and I decide out eat breakfast the limousine wasn't out to pick me up I went to the restaurant and Richard said sir what for you I said two eggs over light sausage biscuit and grits she said we firm hash browns and what him what him Curtis I mean plumber ugly I said Don and I growed up poor but I never was supported either I should potato for breakfast she said you want to see the manager I said I show her the manager come out and it was a lady she said walk well I saw you on a family feud show I said yes him she said richard dawson did not kiss you I said thank God I said what about no grits she said my boss told me to take them off the menu I said fine let me compliment you for doing what the boss told you to do but darling give you boss a message for me tell him Jerry flour came in here and he was astounded and resented the fact that you trying to change his southern culture right in the middle of Memphis Tennessee now if this wrestlers any place no offer here you weren't selling out of me but you ain't gonna change my culture and me sitting in the place where you trying to change it and I said no end of my stay I love everybody but I'm leaving I ain't eatin him why not afternoon I was interviewed by a few people and mayor of the town called me and he come by to see me he said Jerry you'd be interested to know that whenever we have industrialists in the West Tennessee we don't feed them dinners to try to get them to buy our industry here we feed them grits and teach them how to eat a breakfast with grits I said don't take them to the airport restaurants done kill grits out town he said I don't believe that I said don't tell me some Yankees done bought that restaurant he said you're one of the finest people in this country owns that restaurant that Oh male difference some scallywag carpetbaggers done got to him in what afternoon I was interviewed by the radio station and I told this story and for good ol boys when I had started tickets in the restroom that lady called me up said mr. flower if you get off at radio stations shut your mouth I put grits back in here for supper I said thank you and if you ever take them out when I come back I'm gonna bring Jay Reid and Ray Stevens women I love y'all because y'all in a bunch of pessimist I love y'all cause you're working folks but the main reason I love you is cause she's stamping out negativism negativism can kill us I wished everybody had the attitude of the 13-year old boy that lives in a bit County Mississippi got off the school bus the other day told his mama said mama I wish I had somebody to play baseball with me she said son get out there in the yard and play by you say ha ha well little fella got out in the yard he took the ball and then bat and throwed the ball up in the air they draw back with the bat and he swung at it he missed it he throwed the ball up a second time and he draw back and he missed it he throwed the ball up a third time and he draw it back and he missed it little feller smiled and said gosh what a picture get God thank you y'all done good Wow you
