American here. Your basic Hershey's bar is pretty meh. Add almonds, it's not too bad. But we do have great chocolate here, it's just not cheap nor is it Hershey's.

I find Brits have all sorts of tastes in regards to which brand of chocolate tastes best, but, I've yet to meet a foreigner who doesn't say Cadburys is the best they've ever tried.

If you're British and you send a foreign friend some Cadburys, you're a hero.
