It's Back! 2023 Aliner Grand Ascape ST!

man oh man do I have a special treat for you today behind me is the a-liner escape St for those of you that have been shopping for these for a while you're probably have seen that they haven't been around for a while they have not been in production for nearly three years and we're super excited to finally show you the all-new 2023. let's go take a look so this is the a-liner grand Escape ST which stands for shower and toilet this model has every amenity that a full-blown 40-foot long travel trailer would all in something that's compact into a 14 foot long trailer now this model only weighs about 1867 pounds dry which means it could be practically towable by any mid to small size SUV now this has all kinds of cool features on here and we're going to go ahead and get started with those now so up front you have not only one but two propane tanks that have an automatic switch over to them so that'll provide you the ability to stay off grid for longer without the worry of having to run out of propane now I love where they put their spare tire at it's right up and underneath the tongue in the trailer making it easy to access God forbid if you get into a little bit of a predicament now we've got to discuss the overall aesthetic and structure of this model I mean it looks like a teardrop trailer it's very aerodynamic and I'm confident if you purchase this you're gonna have to stop and get asked a whole lot of questions by a whole lot of people because they've just never seen anything like it now let's get back into a couple of these unique features so right up front here you're going to have a cable Inlet that's for the TV that's inside you've got an extra solar Inlet right here so you could plug in a portable solar panel which will help trickle charge your 12 volt batteries there and then you have your city water connection right to the right there now down below you'll notice that you have a gray tank drainage outlet with its own little pull valve there and over there to the right you're going to have a stabilizer jack now this model has not only two stabilizers but actually Four stabilizer Jacks all the way around that way you can have maximum stability as you're using your trailer now this model has mentioned weighs about 1867 pounds dry now it has a gross weight of 2500 pounds and they're using Torsion axles here which will ultimately provide just an incredible ride that's very smooth for you behind the wheel now up here to the right you're gonna see you have a 110 volt outlet with a GFCI this is the back of your furnace here and then you've got your 30 amp electrical outlet plug right here it comes with a detachable cord it's probably in the range around 25 to 30 foot or so in length very long and probably enough for what you need now you'll see here you've got an exterior shower this would be perfect pick for when you come back from those Sandy days at the beach and simply just want to rinse your feet off before dirtying up your unique trailer now these are your louvers here for the gas and electric uh refrigerator that's inside then up and above you've got an exhaust here for your cooktop that way everything can properly vent outside now I just absolutely love the fact that they're using these dual pane acrylic windows they're going to be much quieter when you're inside the campground they're going to be a much better insulator and lastly they just aesthetically look that much better now we have to point out the fact that up front here on the roof of this trailer you've got a 50 watt solar panel already installed so for those of you that really want to get creative and go way out in the middle of nowhere this should give you everything you need to be able to comfortably do so now this model does have a fresh water tank on here which The Fill Ford is just located right here just your traditional gravity fill like most of you already used to and then over here you've got your water heater we'll show you some of this stuff inside has your traditional anode rod inside there and then transitioning over here to the wheels and tires you'll notice that these are 13 inch tires and they're a load range D now these have easy Lube grease fittings on there so it'll make for maintenance just that much simpler and if you guys like the trim color this is black this particular model is available in red blue or black trim so you have all kinds of options and maybe some of you might get a little creative and get uh get this trailer to match the color of your vehicle I don't know that's going to be up to you now in the back here you're going to see you have a Thule awning this does manually crank out and provides you a little bit of coverage so you can enter and exit through the rear of this trailer conveniently and without having to get yourself wet I mean come on that's just an incredible feature to have and then back in behind this door here you're going to notice you do have a removable cassette potty so that toilet inside does not have a black tank instead it does have a removable black tank where you can pull that cassette potty out and simply drain that wherever you would need to hopefully not outside there in the woods of course you got a little porch light that's here right by the entrance door you got a nice little grab assist handle here before entering into the trailer we got to point out that you have this nice little magnetic latch here that keeps the door nice and open and you've got a screen door here that'll just simply slide out of the way and close right up that way you can prevent all the bugs and mosquitoes from getting in and then my favorite part is you have a window that's in your entrance door but it don't stop there they also give you a nice little blackout privacy shade so that you have no peeping Toms on the inside of your trailer now let's go ahead let's pop inside as we enter inside up top you're going to notice you have an air conditioner that's a 13 500 BTUs which will be more than enough to be able to practically hang meat on the inside of this trailer now since we're talking about HVAC it also has a propane driven furnace that's 18 000 BTU so this is something that you could easily use during the winter or simply use in the summer now of course this is a three seasons trailer so be careful when I say winter you know winter means different things to different people I mean if you're in Florida winter is incredible if you're here in Maryland like where we are it's not so incredible but hey I live here and I can't complain about that now I also have to point out that this trailer is manufactured with asdel asdel for those of you that may not know is a composite paneling that they use in place of the exterior Luan wood so normally this fiberglass is glued to Luan wood and the problem is is over time there's little seals on the outside here that break down and allows water to intrude so when that water gets in there there's wood there that ultimately rots and could create mold or mildew so instead of that Luan wood they're using that asdel composite paneling it's impervious to water it's 50 percent thicker and also it's going to be a much lighter in comparison to the regular Luan Woods there's a lot of benefits there now as we pop inside here first thing you're going to notice you've got a two burner cooktop it's propane and it's got its own little direct spark ignition there for it so you don't need a lighter to Pilot these guys up up and above you've got your uh overhead light for the stovetop along with a fan that will vent outside the vent I showed you earlier and up and above that you've got your microwave now you've got some awesome Cabinetry in here really solid hardwood type cabinets and inside you can notice they have these nice little struts here just very well made and some of you are probably wondering what this is this is your king antenna this is a high definition digital antenna that is directional you can just spin it around and ultimately get some of your best signal this thing is going to work great for those of you that want to scan some local TV channels now down in below of that you're gonna see you've got your massive uh sink bowl here you've got a little faucet that folds up and down with a nice glass cover to it same way with this two burner cooktop here so when those items aren't in use you've got plenty of counter space here and they even give you a fire extinguisher because we know when you're camping you know things could get a little crazy so um underneath here you're going to see you've got another 110 volt Outlet you've got a couple light switches here they're actually on dimmers which is quite incredible especially in a trailer like this over here to the left you've got your water pump switch and that water heater I pointed out to you earlier is just a six gallon DSi direct spark ignition water heater just simply runs on propane and it's at the flip of a switch now over here right by the entrance Door you're going to notice you have your three-way refrigerator this thing is going to operate off of propane electric or batteries giving you maximum flexibility for the different types of uses with your trailer now let's open this thing up so you've got some storage in here very very nice so nice storage in there and they're even giving you a nice little ice box definitely thinking of everything here I'll swing it over here to the left looks like you've got a nice little pull out tray here or pull out storage bin I should say and you got the wheel in there the wheel looks like uh that would go up front underneath the tongue of the trailer so you could literally move this thing around if you needed to and then down and below here you just have some extra storage looks like some water lines in there along with the actual wheel well of the trailer and over here to your right while we're down low here you know because my knees here hurting from being low you've got a lead acid or lithium capable converter or you some people refer to this as your fuse and breaker panel go ahead and turn these guys back on there and looks like you have your traditional fuses of course you've got a carbon monoxide detector here obviously you'll have a smoke detector and also along with a propane detector inside now I was pointing out the windows outside I gotta Point them out here again because they are just awesome you've got nighttime Shades slide these up you've got a daytime screen pretty nice but the best piece of all this is once we undo this guy we can actually crank these windows out let's open up all these guys push this out and then we're just going to tighten up this window here boom check that out you can get incredible uh you know loads of air inside here really with no problem and guess what you've got one on both sides just really really a nice touch and I think something that some people will appreciate with this model a lot of people also don't know with these windows when you close this thing up you can actually there's two positions here you can close it all the way up with this latch here or you could push this out a little further get it right there in that Groove and then when you're cruising down the road you can still have a little bit of air outside here to allow this thing to breathe or it's nice if it's pouring down rain too unique just get some more air moving around now up front here you're going to notice obviously you had some storage up there but see here you've got some more Cabinetry inside here back inside there you've got your 110 volt Outlets again this is the back of your TV plug you've got your cable Inlet for that antenna that's up top on the roof there's an antenna booster button that's back in behind there and you even have USB ports which will operate off your 12 volt batteries now this little crank handle here is the crank handle that we would use for outside for you guessed it that awning here very easy just simply insert it twist that thing around and you are good to go you got a TV here don't know if it's a smart TV or not but I'm sure you could easily swap that out if you needed to got some more storage back inside there and then over on the other side here you've got some extra storage up and overhead now I'm going to show you what this all looks like when it's folded down momentarily because this is going to make into one big bed in other words that table goes out of the way you know these two cushions on the left and the right will slide together and then that makes it into a huge area should be pretty comfortable to sleep now my favorite part about it is when we swivel around this is the shower toilet model which means you have a wet bath inside here we open up this door here you'll see what we're working with we've got a little shower there follow all the hose all the way up with your shower head got a little LED light and then over here you've got a toilet that does have an electronic flush to it so you could flush toilet uh you know using the water inside here and there's that removable tank we were discussing here earlier and then up and overhead you even have a little vent for when things get a little steamy or maybe a little stinky I don't know so let's show you what that bed looks like now so there you have it the bed's all made up but simply remove the pull from the table and took the table out of here and normally you could slide and Stow that underneath here but since we're down low all I did was just simply slide those four posts right there in the middle uh very easy to do and then I just took all the seat cushions and folded them in place here so this makes into a 77 inch lawn by 72 inch mattress which is like what almost a queen or almost a king size bed so pretty incredible for what this size trailer has to offer now before I wrap up I want to point out the fact that this is very unique inside here for the height in other words there's a little step up that's here so where I'm standing at currently gives me a six foot four interior height so for those of you that are vertically challenged and I mean the ones that have no problem with getting stuff out of the upper cabinets this model is going to be great for those of you so there you have it my name is Justin I
