[Music] foreign [Music] [Music] I'm PJ from princess craft RV now located in Round Rock and in Houston today I am going to show you the Scout light by a-liner now this is their smallest trailer it is so lightweight compact folds down fits in your garage how much does it weigh each trailer is weighed on the way out of the factory and this trailer exactly as it's equipped is 12.55 and the tongue weight is 144. so anytime you're checking out an a-liner you can always see the exact weight of that particular unit stamped right on the edge there now this is a 2023 model so the graphics may be a little different than what you've seen in the past be sure to check the features and options though if you are looking at this on your dealer's lot because they can change it anytime all right let's go inside and get started [Music] the Scout light really has a lot of working room in here now the base of it is only 10 feet long 13 feet for the entire trailer including the tongue this is what we call a bunk model I'm sitting on the bunk right now now it's 30 inches wide 76 inches long the whole trailer only six and a half feet wide really very maneuverable very small very compact now underneath here you've got some storage this lifts straight up and the one next to it opens to the side now the cabinet on the end because it opens to the side there is no frame on the bottom that is a perfect place in case you need a porta potty for the middle of the night you don't have to get it over a ledge and into the space just pulls right out and it's ready to use that's really good thinking on the a-liner part now more storage right over here on the right got a large cabinet here look at that space now in a trailer this size everyone is going to use space differently so this can be used with shelving you could use it for large items in here really whatever works for you a little more storage under the sink just to the left and a 110 outlet right in front of the sink one thing I really like about this layout is there is a large space here of countertop now that can be used however you want this trailer does not have a stove and some of the extra amenities that you're used to seeing so if you wanted to have a camp stove you could set it here now most of you I know are going to be cooking outside that is one of the great features of this an outside kitchen works beautifully but you do have the opportunity here for a coffee pot or anything like that the sink right next to it now the sink faucet is a little unique because everything in this trailer has to be below the hinge of course once when you fold everything down everything has to be below the fold down point there is no water tank on this trailer everything comes straight from the hydrant but you know just like an outside Camp kitchen there is also potable water systems out there if you wanted to go off the grid good not be hooked up at a campsite and still have great water with a faucet check out the new products from Dometic I am especially fond of those next to the sink is the dinette and it doubles as another sleeping area it's 40 inches wide 76 inches long the slots that make the bed are slid in nicely against the wall there so they're out of the way there is a plug underneath the dinette and a freestanding table in between you don't need the table to make up the bed so if you wanted to use that outside maybe in your entertainment area out there your outside kitchen then no need to bring that in to create the bed now on this side you do have more storage underneath the seating the other side is going to have some gear in it so it's not accessible but this has storage underneath it and a compartment door to the outside the countertop right next to it has more storage underneath of course you've got a top space and a bottom compartment here so again always amazed at the storage in this trailer the AC on the back of this countertop it's 5500 BTUs and it will keep this space extremely cool even in the hot summer days of Texas now there is no furnace in here I know we'll get that question so many people use a ceramic heater or an electric blanket at night whatever works for you in that there's also a fan up here now this fantastic vent at the top it blows air out in case you need to get some of the hot air out of the camper it can also pull air in if you want to cool it off that way so it runs both ways and has three speeds on it and a lock on the top left just makes this space really usable in all kinds of weather now let's talk about options on this trailer there's only three you'll notice there's skylights on both ends with this wonderful pleated Shade that's going to come up to cover it but if you wanted the option of the front Dormer it would go right here on this bunk side it is a canvas on the side but if you're in the heat of the day and you don't want to open that up and conserve some of the cool air in here then you can always leave it down and it will be very usable with it down just like it is now the other option is going to be this air conditioner right here and the third one is the high wind kit that you'll see on the outside now a lot of people use that high Wing kit to open and close the camper but I'm only five foot tall and you'll see that I can do it fairly easily without that there's a few more cool features I just want to point out before we move on one of them is there are touch lights in here and they're LED and super bright just that's a convenience but super easy to use the other thing that I really like about a-liners design is that the curtains can be washed you can easily remove them because they're put on with velcro some people even take them off and they use it as a template to make their own curtains but for me having nice clean curtains after a really dusty camp out that's really nice for me all right there's more to see outside so let's head that way next coming outside I first noticed the porch light right here as I walk outside the door that's nice to see what's happening just as you step out but also I want to point out the light right here inside the camper the switch is right here so again if you're in a really dark place lots of light inside and out now let's head this way the air conditioner in this unit you'll notice it sticks out the side of the camper so there are people that are concerned but it's not a driving Hazard and it has a nice cover to keep it clean when you're going down the road 14 inch tires nice aluminum wheels and this compartment is underneath that dinette so you can access things from underneath the seat or from the outside compartments there are four stabilizing Jacks underneath this so a lot of times with a small trailer like this you may have two stabilizers maybe none but there are some on all four corners here you will see the spare tire mounted right here it does come with a full-size spare on the back with a matching aluminum wheel diamond plate is on the back and the front of your a-liner it's a great Rock card and protects it going down the road concerned about the skylights don't be they are super tough not going to have a problem going down the road with those all right 30 amp plug right here plugs right into the side so if you are at a campsite that is going to make sure your air conditioner is keeping this place cool if you're not plugged in at a campsite because very often this unit goes out in the wilderness off grid then you would need a generator to run that air conditioner everything else on the camper is going to do exactly as it's designed and run perfectly all right coming forward there is a portable solar panel plug right here on the edge this is a zamp plug but if you have a different portable panel don't worry about it there are adapters to make that plug work right here remember I told you about the high wind kit there is one on each side now I only set up the one on the other side in the demo but you just pull the pin lift this over and set it up on the other side and reattach the PIN coming around the front you'll notice we don't have a battery box on here but that should be included when you pick it up from your dealer the battery box sits right here in the front compartment there is the same diamond plate on the front again great rock guard and handles because this trailer is fairly easy to push around remember it only weighs 1255 pounds so if you're on flat ground on concrete pretty easy to maneuver where you need it to be all right we're back around to this nice porch light the front of this this is a small compact trailer but it's got the basics to get you out there camping and if you have any questions at all I hope you'll contact us here at princess craft RV we would be glad to help you thank you so much for watching I look forward to seeing you next time [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music]
