hi this is Freya helping you become a master of your voice are you holding back are you not letting your voice quite to come out do you feel like you have a small voice well I want to help you really get into the mindset of letting it out so stay tuned now what I always notice with my students there's two different personalities and they reflect the voice or maybe the voice reflects the personality that way around but there's other people who have naturally this very outgoing personality they're very big about everything they do and for them it's very easy to have big voice and to really sing out loud and for them it's usually like I have to take it back and just calm them down make everything a little bit smaller and not wobble too much and not to be all over the place then there's this other personality of singers who maybe are very sensitive people and that reflects in their voice they're the type of people who are just very easygoing they don't speak up loudly usually they're just very nice and relaxed and for them it's a lot of times it's very hard to actually sing out loud so whenever they sing it's almost like there are a 30-percent I was trying to hold something back and they don't realize how much they could actually do naturally and the amazing thing is every time for a student who's actually more shy and reserved every time I do this exercise when I make them act out like getting really mad and just like yelling at me once it's always this moment of Revelation of like whoa what voice just came out of you and they're amazed themselves like yeah I have actually done this and even the nicest and most relaxed and shy person can get mad sometimes and they have their have used their voice in that way we're like yeah I did everybody have done this so what I want you to think about is if you have a feeling that you're not really singing out and it's all very soft you don't have no power and you can't get to those high notes it may be because you are not engaging your whole body and taking a deep enough stress and actually be big about it so there's a big difference for example if you want to sing head voice even in a classical way it's like you can sing very very very small I'm holding back I'm not letting it out I'm not opening up and what happens is first of all just rote gets really narrow second of all you don't lift your soft palate and it's just all getting stuck here and it's very tense and tight now if you just open up and dare to sing out just a little bit more and I don't want to use the word loud because it's not about loud it's about actually that sensation of letting something slow out of you and letting it go and daring to throw it out into the world so and suddenly everything opens up and naturally automatically this almost happens the soft palate is more lifted and I just have this better resonating space just because I'm opening and I'm daring just to do it your body has a lot to do with it so you want to engage your body I made a livestream the other day where I talked about you have to engage your body it's so important sometimes I make my students walk around with free weights in the room just for those people who are just for whom is very hard to connect to their body and their think up cell just very small and I just think here you don't just sing here your whole body sings actually it's very important to engage your body it's like an actor you can't act just with your voice you can but even if you will even watch actors who do like dubbing over or doing the voiceovers for cartoons they don't ever just sit there and use their voices it is so important to engage your body because your body will just so much to your voice that energy that you are feeling with your body you transported into your voice and it comes out so I want you to keep that in mind and if you have a feeling you're just all very small and very help back try to open up I mean really try to walk walk even while you are singing walk around or lift something and just see what your voice does when you go like yeah oh I'm lifting this up thank you so much for watching today if you liked the video give it a thumbs up and if you have not subscribed yet you don't want to miss any future videos do subscribe I come up with videos every week and I love to hear hear your feedbacks I read almost every comment I just don't quite have the time anymore to reply to all of them but appreciate you and all your comments are very much appreciated by me I love it I love to hear and it gives me ideas what else you need for me and what else you know what your problems are thank you so much if you have not joined my facebook group you can do so by just looking on Facebook for master your voice and there's almost a thousand people in there now love to see you there and carry on the conversation and hear your voice occasionally have a wonderful day and don't forget always keep us all in your heart and always keep on singing bye [Music]
