Is Gemini Really Better Than ChatGPT? Comparing Google's most capable AI to OpenAI's ChatGPT

Google's competitor to Chad gbt just got released yesterday it's called Gemini let's actually see if it's better as we've been using Chad gbt for over a year and a half now so we know intuitively how good this platform is when it comes to certain prompts so let's actually gut check Google Gemini and see if it's actually that good welcome back y'all in today's video we're going to be checking out Gemini you probably seen it in your feed whether it's Tik Tok Twitter Youtube whatever it may be some of these people are just out here saying why Gemini is 10 times better than chat gbt five reasons why you need to switch to Gemini probably clickbait probably just want to get free views so let's actually give a real authentic answer to that question here because I see that it does cost around 20 bucks as well all right so we're going to go ahead and jump over here and for my understanding it you do have to pay for this so we can go ahead and see there's a big update here I think they switched the name from yeah so now Bard he's now Gemini seems like like they didn't like the name Bard maybe because of Bard Smith ssense possibly let's go ahead and upgrade our account here so confirm it it has switched now it's using the Gemini language model therefore let's actually see if this is a CH DBT killer I will say as of now I have not noticed any prompting to get to basically pay 20 bucks so I'm just going to go ahead and proceed first things first let's test His Image creation capabilities going to say generate me an image of a penguin skydiving I'm go ahead and command C this command or command a command C hit enter here and let's see if we can do this and go ahead and ask chbt the same thing so we get a fair a Tob test this is Google's version I think they took skydiving as if it was quite literally jumping from the sky but I was kind of imagining more of a parachute see what chbt came up with so this is more of what I was thinking was going to show up but stage or test one skydiving penguin skydiving penguin which one do you like better test two let's see how it searches the internet comparative to Chad gbt what is the most recent news for Tesla that's the same question to Jad gbt so it says as of February 9th 2024 which is today does look like it has some positive news neutral news I do like how this is structured I like this is structured nicely let's see how Chad gbt structures it okay I'm going lean towards Gemini for that one that output was a little bit more effective when it comes to search which honestly I'm not surprised it's Google they're supposed to be good at search as you see here it references art like this I can go and click here if I choose to do so this one doesn't seem to have references we actually double check responses interesting let's do that oh I like that okay so when we click that button it gives us the relevant information of where it grabbed from that's really nice Google that's a plus that's a big plus right there okay and then it kind of gives us further proctoring past that that's pretty nice I'm not surprised I was actually expecting probably Gemini should be better at searching the internet than Chad gbt as that's kind of the bread and butter of Google Google that's what most people use Google as go Google it ain't saying that let's try test three I also want to point out yall that a lot of these AI language models perplexity AI Claude Gemini Chad gbt they all really serve different functionalities and different use cases which means that like a lot of times when you choose which one you want to put your money towards it's really case specific as of now from what I see here I don't have the ability to create custom instructions or custom gbts which I can do in chat gbt I use Chad gbt in the context of coding therefore I don't see myself using Gemini in that same context because I can't find you in the chat I explain this a lot in this video right here you can check out when I'm comparing this and co-pilot gives a little bit more idea of what I mean by that so far if you use these language models for search this doesn't seem that bad I almost need to make a video between Gemini and perplexity AI as this seems like more of the competitor in this context so as we know of Google it's great at helping us with flights as well and YouTube all this stuff I mean we're literally on a Google platform right now saying that stuff like flights should be done pretty well here comparative to Chad gbt where I feel like in Chad gbt in order to ask the same question and get a reliable output I would need to enable plugins or use custom gbts as you'll see here this is how they structure in Chad gbt as you'll notice here you would have to format it a little bit more for it to be more legible unless you like reading paragraphs then proceed and then as you see we do get like nice little off link so we could go to kayak possibly Gemini know the structure is a lot more effective as you see paid for anything I will say in a lot of like normal use cases where it's like not specialized it seems like Gemini performs pretty well especially for search I'm sing with chbt because my specific use case is software development that just that if you want to pick the best language platform for software development and coding Chad gbt nothing beats it you don't agree with me check out my other videos when it comes to other use cases as shown here this might not be a bad alternative I think the better video I need to create here is going to be comparing Gemini outputs comparative to
