Is AI replacing CAD designers already?

this is not a cad related video or cat tutorial it's a very serious talk and my personal opinion that I just wanted to share with my subscribers I wanted to talk about Ai and whether or not it's going to replace cat designers our cat designer is going to be obsolete very soon if you have heard it or not AI has been there for many years okay companies like Google Facebook they have been using AI but now openai has put chat gbt open for public and it's free they might change it to premium soon which I hope they do but it's there and even if they charge a premium one that is going to be very cheap and affordable because they started with free almost everybody can afford it this chat gbt which is an AI based software has been replacing a lot of jobs like copywriting it's not 100 there but it's moving really fast my personal non-ai expert opinion tells me that copywriters logo designers not because of chat gbt only okay there are other AI out there like mid Journey doing graphic design designers go code writers these people if they're not at the top of their game if they are somewhere in the middle of their industry they're gonna be obsolete what about cat designers what about you what about me how early can an AI replace cat designers and just model anything you want in 3D well I can tell you what I have understood to this point based on my own research research I have done through AI as well it already does that there are AI integrated with cat to some degree but it's not there yet if you say AI has been taking over copywriters with this rate the rate for replacing Capital energy is slower and this is for various reasons first of all modeling a 3D component in computer is not a challenge for an AI as long as it fully understands the objective for that if we would like to use an AI to design a component to replace a single part in an already up and running engine it would be challenging to Define all the constraints and boundary conditions of that component within that engine best would be to give the park to an AI and ask it to optimize it you know run FES you know optimize it come up with a geometry out of the box that you could not have thought about and that's a good thing kind of like a helping tool however asking an AI to redesign an engine with so many horsepower this boundary condition that fits in a BMW chassis around all those other components next to it it's a little bit early not that it will not replace that it will eventually but it's a little bit early Jordan Peterson talks about Ai and chatimity and he believes one-third of people in every industry are going to lose their jobs and that would be the lower one-third so at the very very least what you should do is to make sure that you're not in the bottom one third of cat designers if you know your way around and if you're good you last longer however it's nothing to be afraid of well actually ilama says you have to be afraid of it maybe you should maybe you should I don't know but I think no need to panic all you have to do is to work on your skill and learn AI on the side so you know how you can take advantage of it in a world where most people are not even exposed to AI especially people above the age of 40 just go ahead ask your uncle ask your aunt ask your mom ask your dad see if even they have heard of Chad gbt if they work with it if they know how to work with an AI most of them don't you are living in this world where most people cannot take advantage of this if you are listening to this video if you're watching this video and if you should be doing but you need one skill at least you need to learn about AI as well and you need to combine these two however you want to do it do it then let's do it on another note I made myself a beginner again and I have missed this feeling to be honest I have been working with SolidWorks for 15 16 years now and honestly there is no novelty it for me I kind of well felt a little bit cold toward it I was not like my early days that I was just designing all the time constantly I love it but now I found a way to be a beginner again and feel all those excitements again I do that by because it's running on the desktop you don't need internet there is no lag there is no disconnection Etc go for SolidWorks it's like learning how to play the guitar and then moving on to electric
