Instrument Approach Part 1 - KMSN ILS18

hello everybody welcome to another bill Fly Girl video we're gonna see if I can that record a instrument approach here and how I go about doing them in this airplane this is not instruction don't do this at home if you're not instrument rated or qualified or etc etc be safe all right folks there's not gonna be term terribly much voiceover on this video we're just going to go through the procedures I'm gonna call out some of the things that I'm doing and you're going to hear ATC talking to me and other aircraft we'll fast forward through all of the ground stuff and get in the air and do one one approach to landing at Madison the ILS runway one eight we'll see you on the other side you okay so I set up let me go back because I already know where I'm going I set procedure I set an approved procedure the airport is Madison I picked ILS 1/8 because that's what I asked for first he's gonna give us vectors because it's controlled airspace and I didn't specifically ask for the full procedure let's just do vectors today and I hit load approach and activate and GPS guidance because it's using GPS to guide me on to the final verge course you eyeliner on the victor winch EQ there was six turn right heading two seven zero or my two one clear for takeoff right mm zero to one clear they've got my sir all right gas undercarriage mixture boost flaps trim okay takeoff power their speeds alive you'll blow feel pressure oil pressure oil ch2 ugt 60 knots rotate gorgeous day benefit our Fuhrer Steiner freaking tango opposition miles south when she to do it five went to 1/3 departure kadai in our vision departure experimental six to eight minor my picture [Applause] [Music] Oh [Music] [Music] all right so let's change [Music] okay and one easier radio to Bona Bona 4.9 DME we're gonna let the we're gonna switch the GPS as soon as that happens we have our [Applause] than a turbo 1420 all right for localizer stay cover above 40 20 so your pastor a better light was out there there'd be a nominal victory soon out there on the road and turning thing one for drilling teen be sponsored and they won't even throw great 160r making good for clear I let approach all right we're clear so I'm gonna hit the approach but we're gonna fly the approach autopilot is engaged and it will capture fly the approach we're just outside rookie 5:46 peckerwood 1 let's open up tenacious logically want within a name came to accountant sectors wanted to turn critic stuff go if we take that approach it's coming in see the other pilots gonna start turning its in yep capturing the localizer [Applause] there's the rectangles three minutes and five zero four five one Romeo turn left - Charlie contact on point Niner we're just under two miles from looking at 40 fortunately McCall I want to be set out other like that before we start to something so way to unclear land hold short runway one eight go ahead on Wayne do want only the victory trap plans for only doing also at the intersection 85 laps in I usually carry just put laps one Oh yep we hit the glide slope there and we nose down a little bit which did some airspeed and got close to over speeding the flaps there we go I'd like 75 to 80 up here how many 39:29 man tariffs I roll my head around my wanting for takeoff got big my mom huddle all right we heading runway one eight click to take up every night okay we're inside of Ricky about four to five hundred feet per minute which matches what we're expecting or hotter eyes is this about three degrees take a look at the chart where are we get the time so you noticed I switched from these Alliance and the rectangles used to be magenta and now they're green that means the glideslope aisle s instead of the GPS for further navigation here off the screen it's still GPS based they're still magenta there but the the CDI if you will there's so up here we're seeing two seven zero one two so we're turning into the wind a little bit all right we are coming up on 300 feet above minimums 500 feet above the ground minimums are 200 feet above the ground five minutes of Terror when two-niner-zero at five stand by for the cable or my 180 foot one is probably an f-16 all right we're hundred about minimums my airplane autopilots off where else is free time okay I'd love to continue no lo now but runways in sight airports made I'm slowing ourselves slowing us down here so that we're not loading over the runway and I know I'm low but I have over the runway already I don't do this in actual instrument I fly the the glide slope thanks everybody for watching please don't forget to subscribe more videos to come
