Halfway through this clip my wife said: "Definitely some slight of hand happening there."
Ya think?
That was crazy. I could see a couple early reveals but I have no idea where cards were coming from or going. Insane.
This is literally the guy that teaches you the song of storms in ocarina of time.
I love when P&T just give the "Fuck it, you're just really fucking good" as a reason to fool them. It shows to me they have a REAL appreciation for skill and art in magic.
He's great. Based on his outfit and faces made though... I kept thinking he's a WILD AND CRAZY GUY!
Very impressive. His hand movements reminded me of Shin Lim, but I thought Lim's performance was a lot more beautiful.
Nevertheless, that was amazing.
I'm not convnced this was done via slighgt of hand. I looks to me like this guy used a clocked reaction. Using the music to alert him to his cue, he obscures the card the moment the ink changes then reveals it. I dont think the music is there just to ad atmosphere or ambiance. The music is a tool he is using to time the clock reactions.
Thinking heat change ink and/or polarized film.
I was hoping he would be just a regular American dude fooling them with a Spanish accent and fake flamenco.
