critics and audiences agree this video is a masterpiece Rotten Tomatoes said there is no better list of add-ons available and from IGN the best performance Scotty J has given in his entire career Mia Khalifa said this thing is huge we assumed she was talking about the video one man one list of add-ons loads of words Miss pronounce and finally a video worth watching join Scotty J as he embarks on an emotional roller coaster taking you through the best 10 add-ons you should be using to be ready for Phase 2 of season of Discovery there will be tears there will be laughter and there will definitely be a mediocre amount of information you can take away there is so many videos saying hey guys use these add-ons these are the best that you can get and they're all pretty much the same so in the effort of this one hopefully being a lot more detailed I'm not only going to tell you about some of the add-ons you absolutely should be using now but also going into phase 2 I'm also going to going to show you some optimal ways to use them this could be from class specific to just generally what everybody can do and I have absolutely no doubt that you'll be using some of these add-ons if not the majority of them already but maybe just not using them to their full potential now for me there has to be a couple of criteria met for me to want to use specific add-ons first of all it has to look aesthetically pleasing I like a fairly minimalistic UI I don't like everything all over the place so it could be the best most functional add on in the world but if it makes my UI look like crap I don't want to use it and the same goes on the other hand where if it's really really nice and it looks great but its functionality is fairly pointless I won't use that either so this is going to be my top 10 add-ons you should be using for Phase 2 what you need to remember when I show you this first add-on is you already probably use it but you likely installed it walked into a raid and I've made zero changes to it so the first one is deadly boss mods now the first thing that's probably worth mentioning is when you first put on dbm you don't really need to make any changes it puts the bars in Fairly generic places and if you watch anybody stream or you watch other YouTube videos you'll know everybody's dbm looks pretty much exactly the same but not mine there's plenty of Alternatives you can use to deadly bus mods including Big Wigs or even just straight up week or a packs made by the community or even yourself if you're pretty glued up with weak oras but I personally use dbm even though I use it in conjunction with weak oras and the reason I still use dbm after many many many years is because of what you can actually do with it in conjunction with weak AAS but some real important things that people Miss is if you actually just type SL dbm you've got tons of options that you can go through here including where announcements are going to be so if you go to the announcements tab where the alerts are and you click move me you can now just move where your big announcements are maybe you want it under your character because you've got all your bars here you want to see where everything is in one place the same goes for special announcements the same goes for chat and frame messages but you can also go into the countdowns and voice packs so when you get your countdown at the start of a poll where it does 5 4 3 2 1 you can change the voice for that you can download custom voice packs for the spoken alerts these will be things where it says for example on hen in RAF of the Lich King where it says don't stand in the beams cuz we really need to be told that sort of thing nowadays you can choose from loads of different voices for that but I would say the most important thing is where the timer bars are so your bar appearance is probably the thing that you spend most of your time looking at when you're in a raid so if you go into bar appearance and you click move me you can move your bars wherever you want now if you look at it when I do it on my Mage there is no bars to move and that will make sense soon and I'll show you why there's no bars to move but if we again type / dbm on my Paladin this time and then we go to bar appearance and we go move me you'll see straight away that there's my big announcement bar and there's the small announcement bar so this would be if I wanted to say the list of abilities that are going to come in down here and then as they're getting closer it will go near my character now all of these can be changed so if we go to huge bar which is this bar here we can change the width we can change the height let's just press move me again so I can see them but you can customize how these bars look to suit your needs you can change how it sorts by time remaining where the one that's coming in soonest is at the top or it's at the bottom and in fact you can even go into bar colors and change how the bars look complete now the reason I said that you can't see bars on my Mage is because I use a weak AA to manage all of this so it just looks neat which we will get on to cuz spoiler alert weak or is is number two on this add-on list but the other thing that I really like about deadly boss mods and what I use all the time if you go into the raid settings their self so let's for this example cuz we're all playing season of Discovery let's look at black fathom deeps we can look at all of the different abilities that the bosses can do and what ones we want to see and what ones we don't so if we was to use Kish just just as an example shadowy chains is something that needs interrupting now this could be something where you can't interrupt so you're like well I'm not that bothered about even having that ability shown on my screen cuz there's nothing I can do to physically counter it so you could just simply untick that and that's one less thing that you're going to have to worry about during the fight because you can't worry about it anyway because you're someone that can't interrupt I am just using that as an example if you're not bothered what targets are actually being slept at the moment so they're inside the shadow realm you could untick that but you can make deadly Boss mod show you as much or as little as you want as you're comfortable with and again I think this is something that people don't actually use anywhere near enough they'll literally install deadly boss mods they'll go in a raid and they think that that's it done when in fact there's tons that you can do and there's a lot of abilities that are even turned off by default some of the time for example on vzx I know we're primarily focusing on season of Discovery but because there's not really that many abilities in season of Discovery yet obviously I'm just giving you an example but verac will announce who should be interrupted so interrupt one 2 and three now if you're not a class that can actually interrupt that's turned off by default but you might want to know who should be interrupt in when and you want to physically hear it as well so again it's something you can go into the settings and you can play about with yourself overall when I think about add-ons that just need to be installed as soon as you start playing deadly bus mods should always really be number one on the list if Raiden has any interest to you whatsoever so I showed you what it looked like when you move the bars in deadly boss mods and I said mine don't look like that on my Mage the reason it don't look like it on the Mage but it does look like it on other characters is because actually the Paladin I was showing you is on a different account and I've not really put that much effort into my UI yet but when you type SL dbm and you go into this screen you can go to bar appearance and you can start test bars now when you press Start test bars it will show you the little bars and the big bars and it will just make up some fake abilities to show you what the general warnings will look like when I press it on my Mage it's going to look very different so on mine I actually just have one very clean looking bar where as each ability is coming in it just moves down the timeline and this is called raid ability timeline now this works with deadly boss mods or big wigs and all it's basically doing is taking those little bars and then compiling it into one vertical list so it's very quick just to have a quick look and go oh next one is handle your roll that's coming in now the next ability that's coming in is evil debuff and that's coming in in 5 seconds because it shows you the little 5-second line anything under there you know is coming in in the next 5 Seconds now I find this just looks so much cleaner and actually just to have a quick glance at it it's very clear what ability is coming in next but to get your bars looking like this you have to use weak oras and that's part of the reason why weak oras has made it into number two on my list so weak oras just does everything and I mean that literally you can track spells boss abilities make resource bars track trinket procs and coold downs literally anything you want people have even gone as far as automating so much of their gameplay with weak AAS that blizzard had to clamp down in it in TBC because you could autopilot other characters around as long as you were both using a follow week AA this turned semi AFK Boos in in places like Strat Holm into fully AFK boosting because you literally didn't need to be at your PC if you head over to wago.io this is where you can get loads of weak orders that have already been made by other people and submitted you can just type in a few little Search terms of what you're actually looking for and then you can have a look through and see if there's something that fits your needs now this is probably what most people do because there seems to be a big fear around making weak aers and people think it's actually complicated when it's not because in a second I'm going to show you how you can make weak ERS for any class in less than 60 seconds but let's say you don't even want to go to that 60 seconds worth of effort then you can just go over to wago.io have a look through you can even just look by class or spec and get full week AA packages this is the week Ora that you want to grab if you want your dbm to look like mine which is raid ability timeline and I do personally rate it so high that I would say quick run along go and get it now so what I'm going to do is give you a couple of examples so we're going to say on my Mage I want to be able to track the cool down of a spell and let's say I want to track the debuff on a boss so that could work for anything if you're a hunter wanting to track serpent thing if you're a mage wantan to track living bomb if you're a warlock when it attract curse of Agony or if you're a paladin when it attract the cool down on your Divine storm just these two very very simple weak AAS you'll be able to use on pretty much any class and spec you ever want to play beauty of doing it yourself is you can make it look how you want and you can make it react and and add sounds and little alerts and things like that which I'll also show you and the reason I want to set a 60-second timer is cuz I want to show you it really is that easy so I need an assistant where's that gnome I need you to set me a timer for 60 seconds 60 seconds you got it boss let's do it good let's go so for this example we're just going to track living bomb on the target so all you need to do is type /wa to open weak AAS then you're going to go to New Aura you're going to go to Icon you're going to call it living bomb and then you're going to go to trigger and we're looking for an aura on the Target and we're looking for a debuff and then that debuff name is going to be living bomb honestly you're done all you need to do now is put it wherever you want and then we'll give it a test now I've already got one set up down here but you can ignore that so if I live in bomb this target it now shows 11 10 seconds left nine yeah so we can actually see how long it's on the Target for and we just made that in well far less than a minute so as we've got time left on the clock let's start it again and see if we can do anything else with this obviously you can move it anywhere you want it on your screen but let's say you want an alert when it's not there so when your living bombers physically fell off of the target you want it to tell you that it's fell off the target well then you could go to actions and you could go on hide because we know when that countdown finishes and it goes to zero that icon is going to disappear off the screen so we could go to play sound we can have it play through Master Channel whatever Channel you want and we could have it do a little bam sound so now already what that's going to do is make it very noticeable when your living bums fell off now that would be how you track debuffs now let's say it was a buff on you so say you had to track something like seal of command or seal of righteousness or something a paladin seal we'll use that as an example quite literally all you're going to change is when you go into trigger you're going to change it from Target to player so that player is going to be yourself and you're going to change it to a buff and then you're going to call it say seal of command and now that's it that's done whenever you've got seal of command on it's going to show you you've got seal of command on whenever it falls off it's going to make a bam sound effect it's literally that easy so that's tracking debuffs on the Target and Buffs on yourself there is one little side note when you're tracking debuffs on the target it's always worth tracking own only because otherwise if there's another Mage in the group putting living bom on for example you're going to see theirs so it will show you've got living BM on even if you haven't so always remember to check own only there is probably something else that you'll notice here so if I live in bomb this target what you'll notice now is there's no countdown timer that's actually because it's another add-on that I used called omnic CC so if you want to see timers on the week or as their self omn CC shows that now you don't need to use omn CC and I'll show you how and why you might want to do that so if you're not using omn CC when you actually go into the week order itself what you actually have to do is you go to display and then you scroll down to display text now you can read all of this and see all the different options that you can actually put on it if that's what you want to do but if you do percentage P important it's a lowercase p that stands for Progress now you can see straight away it's got a countdown timer there so what you can then do is just make that text bigger you can then play about with that text if you want to add glows change the font and whatever else you want to do so let's say we wanted the font as Expressway text a little bit bigger now when we go and attack something we're going to have a timer without actually having to use omnic CC as an add-on now I will always use omnic CC just because I like omnic CC I've used it for years it's one of those add-ons that I just naturally install instantly it hasn't made it on this list because you don't need it because as I say you can use weak orders like this if you want to but if we look now you can see the timer is now there it's not on this one which is my actual living bomb timer that I use ordinarily but that's because omnic cc is going to cover that when I turn it back on in a second now I'm going to turn that back on before I forget so now let's say you want to track the cool down of one of your abilities I've already shown you how you can track your own Buffs and debuffs on the target if you want to track your own cooldowns again you're just type in /wa to get into weak AAS and then you're going to want a new Aura you're going to want icon and let's say we want to track the cool down of living flame so all you're going to look for is trigger and then we're going to want spell and then it automatically will default to cool down charges count now all you're literally going to do is just put in living flame and that is it we now have a timer there that's going to show us the cool down on living flame and just to show you that it works works we'll go and find something to Chuck living flame on this will do so we'll pop living flame on that Target and bang straight away we can see it's on a 57 second cool down at the moment I've not got in combat otherwise you'll see mine actually pop up now that's it that quickly we can already see our living BM timer we can see the cool down and I liveing flame so the point really is don't be scared of weak oras play about with them getting your basic weak Ora set up like the cooldowns on abilities or Buffs and debuff trackers is so so easy and the fact that you can add audible alerts and things like that by just playing around with the settings a little bit just makes it an absolute musthave add-on again though if you can't be bothered you can just go to wago.io and just find weak AA packs and just modify them yourself a little bit and I must admit sometimes if it's a bit more of a complicated weak AA that I want I'll most of the time go and have a look on waggo see if I can find it there and then just change it to suit my needs and my third add-on is yet another really obvious one but an obvious one you either could use better or even functionality wise things you might not know about the add-on in question is [Music] bartender yes there's lots of different things you can use to manage your bars you could use Domino's or you could even use lvi which I know is quite a popular one but I used to use lvi like 10 years ago I'm kind of over it now the first thing I love about bartender is profiles you probably just type slbt to bring bartender up when you create a new character and pick a profile from another character and boom all your bar a position where you want them and with keybinds already set up well that's fine but you can use profiles for lots of different things you could have a profile specifically for when you're PVP in you could have a profile specifically when you're doing raids or dungeons you depending on what you want to see and how you want your bars laid out for each activity you may even be like me and play on multiple devices so I don't just play on the PC here in front of me I play on my Mac I play on my steam deck I play on a PC in a different room and because I might use different peripherals for each of them I've normally got a different profile for each computer I'm playing on as well because as an example using the razor nagger with just the six buttons on the side I use a different side plate for another nagger when I'm on my laptop it's a minor little benefit but it's one that I personally make use of and the thing I love most is being able to have hidden bars so using my Paladin as an example on season a discovery all my bars are actually showing whereas if you was to compare it to my raft Paladin because I have weor is pretty much manage everything and I know where all my keybinds are they're all there on the screen but you just can't see them so if I very quickly needed to swap some things around on my bars I can without having to go into the settings but it just makes the UI look that much cleaner and whilst this won't be relevant to many of you now if you use a steam deck like I use it for wow I actually have a different profile for each character that I play on so for example this is actually my paladins profile so on here I can just press a button that changes me into protection spec or one that changes me into holy spec I've got ones down here for the gear so again this will put my proc gear on this will put my holy gear on I've got one for prospecting Jewel crafting campfire fire cooking drinking even resurrecting different mounts fishing a ready check and a pool timer for deadly bus mods even marking I have on the stream deck so it's actually things I don't need to worry about having key bound or physically clicking on the bars but what's the use of having it on the stream deck if then I can see it on the screen as well so that's where I actually put things on either transparent bars or hidden bars and there is actually a bit of a difference where you can see like this bar here it's about 10% opacity if I highlight over it you can see it full but this is where I might actually switch things about on a fight by fight basis or if I'm doing PVP I might have a different item on one of these slots compared to if I do PVE but being able to have things like half Stone and all of that on the stream deck but then have them on bars that you never see cuz they're just running in the background it works for me and as I say for you it could be completely different but these are all little reasons why I use bartender over anything else but on top of that you've got all the basics you can change so much when you type /bt and you go into the settings you can change the size of the bars Alpha as I say visibility is the one I use a lot so I have it so it fades out completely and then it shows on Mouse over that one's actually set to 10% so you can just about see it down there obviously you can have the fader Alpha set as whatever you want or you can just have the bars hidden completely if they're things that you don't need to see because maybe you have got them on another device like a stream deck you can also go into the bag settings and change it so it only shows one bag instead of all of those which just Tides things up a little bit you can hide macro text you can hide hot keys so it can make your bars look a lot cleaner you can even have the bars so they can be clicked through this then means that you can't accidentally click on something when for some reason you'll just spamming your mouse for no reason whatsoever and also for your XP bar obviously you can put your XP bar anywhere you want I personally have mine just sat up the top there but as I say the power of profiles and actual visibility and page toggling is probably the thing that keeps me installing bartender on every character I use there is also presets in here so you don't need to set it all up yourself where it's got blizzard interface two bars wide three bars stacked and full reset I personally just do everything myself from scratch but what you'll notice when you see me play any character is I've either got no bars or it's just a nice three stack of bars at the bottom and that's bartender and why I use that the next add-on has functionality to it that I just hear of No One using well the add-on itself is probably one of the more popular add-ons particularly in classic because there's no dungeon Journal where you can get anything that works similar to it but the next add-on is atlas Loop now firstly it's important you get the right one for the version of the game that you're playing you specifically need Atlas loot season a discovery if you want to see the loot from black fathom deeps and soon to be neron if you have the standard old Atlas loot classic you'll see everything else but any new loot added to season of Discovery just won't be there you probably think hey Scott it's Atlas Loop there's nothing special I can do with it well you're kind of right but also kind of wrong my favorite faite system in Atlas Loop is absolutely epic and probably massively underutilized and that's the ability to be able to add favorites to pieces of gear so if we was to use black fathom deeps as an example let's say there's some items that I really want and they're part of my b list but I just don't want to keep having to alt tab go to whad look at what my b list is go oh it weren't that that was only second B I passed you can have it all in game in Atlas Loop now I've spoke about this in other videos before so if you've heard me talk about it apologies but it's definitely worth a mention so let's say you're a paladin and you really want deadly strike of the Hydra you can hold alt and left click on the item and you'll get a little star next to it now let's pretend you did this for a full set of gear and you wanted the Twilight Slayers foot pads you wanted the Twilight Avengers Helm you wanted the glowing fetish amulet you wanted the Twilight Avengers chain I think you're starting to get the point what it will show you very quickly when you look on Atlas L is how many items you want from each of these bosses or how many items each boss has got a chance of Dr droing for you so looking at aami we favored three items that can drop from this boss now we know Twilight slay's foot pads can drop from elsewhere and so an Avengers Helm but just by quickly opening Atlas Loop before each bus as long as you keep your list up to date you can very quickly see which bus drops items that you need not only that if you close Atlas loot Al together and you go up here oh this should be an honorable mention in a second because you're probably thinking how's he got that little button that expands his add-ons that can be number five when you hover over the atlas Loop icon it shows you if you left click it's going to open Atlas Loop if you middle click it's going to open Atlas Loop without Auto Select but what we're actually looking for here is open Favorites so now if we right click on Atlas Loop you can very quickly see the gear that we want so obviously we only put a few items in here we put the sword the helm the neck the chest and the boots but this you could say is your b list so you can look up what this character is using and these are your B items that you're trying to get for this phase not only that on the right hand side it shows you a full list of the items which you can actually equip and unequip I'll show you what I mean let's say we thought deadly strike of the Hydra was a bit of a stretch goal chances of us getting it are pretty slim then we probably want a backup option so let's say our backup option was fathom blade so we're going to hold alt and we're going to left click and that's going to add it to favorites when we go back to our favorites now you can see we've got two options of Sword I right click to unequip the Epic weapon because we're going to just say that that's one of our options so now when we look here you can see we've got deadly Striker at a Hydra and we've got fathom blade now if you imagine having two or three items for each slot that are going to be your potential B items that you're going to try and get it will start looking messy but if you just click on your sword slot icon it'll automatically filter the weapons that you've added so now we can add which one we want so we could say oh I'd be happy with faven blade so we've got faven blade there but we know ideally we want deadly strike and a Hydra but you can switch these As You Wish not only does it keep all the items that you want in one place as you obtain these items it also ticks them off your list if we was to say these legs are one of our best the item ID is what you find on wad you can get add-ons that show you it in game as well but the item ID for these is 6087 so if I add an item ID and I add 6087 now they're actually part of my bis list as you can see and they've got a tick on so if you imagine now I had a full set of gear here it's going to show me ticked off what I've got so I can very quickly open it and go I've only got two B items left to get I've only got three B items left to get I know Atlas loot is really used for just clicking on it opening it seeing what bosses drop what loot but if you really want to use it to its full potential you can have a way of very quickly seeing how many items potentially drop from each boss for you and your exact B setup that you want in game there is one other minor thing that you can do with it which I think is pretty cool but use case is probably a bit slim but when you're on your favorites you can actually send a chat link so if you initiate a whisper with someone like you can see I've been doing it here already you can press chat link and send it and then as long as they're using Atlas loot they'll be able to click on it open it and see what your b list is in game as well nice little sharing feature not something I expect people to be using a great deal but it is actually quite useful what you'll notice is I like to be doing as much in game as possible so I want to minimize the amount of time I have to keep alt tabing to different websites to look up things I'd rather just have everything well right in front of me where I am now you already know what number five is going to be because I kind of just spoiled it if you want all of your add-ons in one nice neat little place this can actually be moved by the way so this is called mini map button [Music] bag the name got changed for some reason I'm not sure why for as long as I used it it was always mini map button bag but it's been changed to mini map button button mini map button button not the greatest name got to be honest but functionality wise and aesthetically it's fantastic so what I should probably have mentioned right at the start is obviously just go on curse Forge install the curse Forge app and you'll be able to get all of these add-ons from there that's where I get all my add-ons yeah so just go on curse Forge type in mini map button button or any of these other add-ons we've spoke about and you'll be able to grab them all this basically does is takes all of your add-on buttons and puts them all in one nice neat little place when you hold alt and then you left click you can move this wherever you want I have it up by the mini map but you could have it down here by your bags you could like wherever you want I just like it up there because that's where they normally are but when you left click on it it just expands out and you have all your icons in there there's nothing else really to say about that because it's just that simple but it was a great one to throw in there at number five the next one some of you will hate the fact that I'm even going to mention it and some of you will understand exactly why I am because you already use it rested XP now sure you could use questy which is free or some other alternative but why level slower than you need to and I know yes it does cost money but it doesn't cost money up until you get past level 22 so I always like to mention that rested XP the 1 to 20 portion and the 1 to 20 runes that's all built in for free so you can just go on curse install rxp and you're ready to go and it really is the fastest way to level and right now in Phase 1 you can make really good use of all the features for free but of course if you want it to be able to take you all the way level 40 in the next phase you're going to have to go and buy one of the guides now obviously it is an affiliate link so if you click the link in the description or the pin comment and you go and buy one of the guides it also helps support the channel so for any of you that have already done that or plan on doing it thank you very much it is appreciated but you're actually getting something amazing for your money because most people think that it's just a leveling guide but it's really not there is so much more to rested XP nowadays than when I used to use it when it first came out when you look at it yes it guides you around the fastest ways to level once you've bought all the guides it's got every single leveling bracket here with every single zone it's even got survival guides if you plan on doing hardcore but the fact that it's got Rune guides built in now is absolutely amazing so it shows you what level you should really be to get these runes and then just guides you around with a blue arrow telling you exactly where to go and exactly what to do now there's so much more to this so now it shows active targets which can be keybound so if you actually go into your options and then you go to your keybind and then you go to add-ons you can go to rested XP and you've got active item button 1 2 3 and 4 Active friendly Target button 1 2 3 and four an active enemy Target button 1 2 3 and four if you keybind these to anything you want really let's just keybind them to control shift 9 control shift 8 for enemy Target and control shift 7 to use the active item button so where I'm stood right now you can see there's a lazy peon over in the background we've got a scorpion which is marked with a skull that I need to kill but if I use my new keybind now bang I'm targeting it and then if I use my other keybind to use the item it's using the item so active item one is in this slot active Target one's this slot and active friendly Target one is this slot so now I can very quickly Target this skull like you can see all I'm doing is pressing my new keybind and bang it's targeting the skull it seems minor but it just makes leveling so much quicker because you've not got to try and find things you're just literally pressing your key bind to Target what you're meant to be killing it tracks how long it takes to get each level if you got the right dungeons ticked it will make sure that you get all the prequests for the dungeons on the way up as well and it's even got a built-in rare scanner so anytime you see a rare it will pop up on your screen so you don't miss it not as important in classic if I'm completely honest but if you plan on playing cataclysm every rare in cataclysm gives like a full quest's worth of XP so you don't want to miss rares and there are things like rare scanner that you can use in place of this but again you're now having to use questy and rare scanner two add-ons to achieve what this one add-on does on its own own overall I don't want to talk about it too much because I think by now most people use it or have used it and know that it just makes leveling so much easier just running around following that blue arrow it takes and beat him number seven is a really quick one as well and number seven is really only relevant at the moment to Rogues and Druids it works with more than that in future expansions when paladins get holy power it works with that it works with sharman's malstrom weapon so if we get malstrom weapon in season the discovery as enhancement shamans it works for that as well but I'm all about audible if you didn't guess from when we was doing the we orus section I like to be able to hear when things come off cool down or here when a debuff drops off because then I can be focusing fully on what I'm actually doing in game so if I'm figh in a bus I can focus fully on the mechanics I know oh I just heard that sound I know that means I can pop a venin RH so anything that assists me without me having to look at something on the screen I'm all about that so this add-on that I'm going to tell you about if you don't use it ready is called here [Music] kitty the best thing to show you at on will be a druid or a rogue so I've just jumped on the Rog cuz it's in stone Talon mountains already now all it does is it audibly tells you how many combo points you've got so now every time I hit a mob you'll hear a sound effect and that effect goes dun dun dun dun dun like it gets higher and higher and higher to the point where you've got five and then you'll hear like a drum effect when all the combo points are used or if I switch Target and lose those combo [Music] points so this is something that really takes them some getting used to because it might irritate you at first but once you actually get used to it you you no longer even think about combo points you don't need to look at the screen you'll literally know at all times how many combo points you've got because it just becomes ingrained in you you're always paying attention to how many combo points you've got without physically paying attention to it it just becomes second nature it has actually got various different sound packs that you can use like that Crystal one which is really annoying I use Symphony just because it's actually what I've always used but you get what I mean it's just a very very easy way to always know how many combo points you've got without actually ever looking at the screen that was a quick one the next add-on I don't want to talk about in too much detail purely because it's quite a boring one but it's one that I think everybody should use or should use a version of it and now I know there's lots of different types you could use because you could even use a weak AA for it but I think having a good cast bar is quite important now I person me use quartz [Music] now I use quartz not only for my car bar but for also the enemy cast bar as well now there's so much you can do with this add-on you just type SL quartz but you can have latency enabled you can have it show your Global cool down you can have Buffs you can have timers enabled you can have a swing timer you can have it announce interrupts there's lots of different settings in here that you can use me personally I use it very basic I just have Target cast bar player cast bar because things like a swing timer I normally have that managed by weak ERS if I was just to use a Teleport so you can quite clearly see what the cast bar looks like if I hover over myself you can see that's what my enemy cast bar would look like and this is what my cast bar looks like now you can of course toggle this and you can change the width the height the alpha you know you can go through all these settings and have this bar look exactly how you want it to look and where you want it to be but I think it looks clean it's responsive it really makes an enemy's ability stand out as well when they're actually casting something and of course you can have it wherever you want so I have it underneath the actual enemy portrait but you could have the enemy cast bar above your own cast bar so maybe that's where your eyes are normally focused around that part of the screen so you never miss when they're going to do a cast I did say that was going to be a quick one and obviously for a good reason there's not really a lot to talk about outside of the fact that it gives you a NIC looking cast bar that you can customize and that's about it the next one might not be relevant to everyone cuz I know not everybody is that bothered about playing the economy game and what I mean by the economy game of course is making stuff and selling it or going out and farming stuff and selling it but if you do use the auction house even a little bit having a good Auction House add-on is quite important and it will save you a lot of time again there's many different add-ons that you can use for the auction house but I use [Music] auctionator and and the reason I use auctionator is because I actually like the aesthetic of the normal auction house I've used Au in the past which is another one and I actually used aux for a very long time but auctionator keeps the same familiar feel of the auction house but as you can see down the bottom here it just adds more tabs so we've got bids auction shopping selling canceling and auctionator so if we was to go to shopping and we was to look at something that we want so let's say we need some more black faom Manor oil it will show how many are available it says question mark Cuz there's loads and it'll always sort by cheapest first so you can see stack price unit price and then you can chain buy so I can just go to buy and then I can literally just keep pressing by Stack and buy as many stacks as I want very quickly now another thing this is good for is professions so if you've got your profession pane open and let's say we wanted to make some spider silk boots as long as I've got the auction house open on the shopping tab I can look at the spider silk boots and I can click search now what this is actually going to do as you can see is look for all of the items so the actual items that we need to craft it and the boots theirself now it's showing the boots here there's 32 pairs available and I can buy them for two gold 36 now if I was to buy these mats off of the auction house you can see it's only going to cost me 1 gold 50 and then if I was to sell them I'm going to make 73 silver profit now this is just a very very quick way of seeing should I buy the mats or should I buy the item and if you like flipping things so you want to buy the mats and then make some profit it's a very quick way of seeing how much you'd actually make profit wise obviously if you was to buy the mats and craft them now there's a lot of things I like about auctionator including if you want to sell things so when you go to the selling tab let's say I wanted to get rid of this Mage Royal you just literally click on it it'll instantly put it in under cutting by a copper you can see what the deposit is going to be what the total price is and you just press post and it is literally as easy as that it makes selling things on the auction house almost criminal not to do because it takes no time no effort you literally just Spam click just Spam click everything that you want to sell and just press post and it'll always undercut by one copper and and it's it's mindless don't worry we've only got two to go and then I'm going to throw in a bonus 37 so we should be out of here pretty quickly number nine would have to be Nova World [Applause] Buffs that was 10 time flies when you're having fun again there's not really a great deal to talk about here I know the vast majority of you probably use it already and you absolutely should and it's going to be particularly important in Phase 2 because escaping very busy layers is going to be something that many of us are going to be doing but when you click on no world Buffs you can see how many layers are currently on your server it'll also show which layer you're currently on and if you actually add anyone online in your guild unlike me at the moment it will show you what Guild layers are available so what layers people from your guild are actually on one of the important things is obviously the Ashen Val resources So currently I can see the Ashen Val event is on so if I log onto my druid lo and behold without even going over there I can see yes the Ashen Val battle is currently underway later on in the game it'll become even more important as you need to get things like your felwood Buffs as well so if you shift left click it just takes you straight to the felwood map so you can look at where you can get your song flowers but really what you're using this for is the ability to see what layer you're on and how quickly you can jump to other layers using your guild I'm going to give you a few bonus ones as well which I won't really talk about in any great detail we'll just fly through them the first bonus one would have to be watch training watch training literally just shows you what's about to come up when you ding or what's available right now so you can very quickly see when you're out leveling if you need to waste time running back to the trainer because it might be something useless that you're not even going to use now this just adds an extra tab to your spell book as you can see down the bottom here and very clearly shows you at what level you're going to be able to get what spell bagnon is another simple one it just makes your bag look a lot more aesthetically pleasing I know there's some people that use Addy bags as well but I've always used bagnone and for thick and thin I pretty much have stuck with it because it has had some issues in the past but it works flawlessly at the moment you can very quickly just press clean up which will clean your bags up you can show and hide any bags that you want and it just puts it all in one nice frame and the best part is the search function so if I want to know if I've got any water I can just type water and I've got water of the Sears that's useless and the final one would just be Guild roster manager you can use this in season Discovery classic whatever you want but it just expands The Guild pane to actually show you whose SS or what how long they've been in the guild for when they was promoted last someone's actually typing in Guild chat it will show you if they're somebody's old so it will show you their main character in bracket so you always know who you're talking to very basic one but grm that's called Guild Ruster manager it's one that I would definitely recommend and we've reached the end that was more than 10 but I tried to only give you 10 and to be fair there's probably another 20 or 30 add-ons that I use that I've not even mentioned but maybe we do a part two we'll see how well this video does if you enjoyed it though as always like And subscribe and I'll see you on the next one
