do you remember that one scene from Finding Nemo where they're in the water bags and they're trying to get across the the road to freedom well today I'm gonna recreate that in a brand new game called I am fish now this is created by the developers behind the incredible game I am bread which we played I don't even know like three or four years ago and now they have created a very I'm guessing similar game in the style of that but with the fish instead this is just a demo and there's different levels so far there's only two city coast and suburbia we should probably find out to move the fish well that seems pretty simple let's go to the city coast am i in like a hamster ball how did a fish get inside a hamster ball full of water anyway we're not questioning the backstory of the fish let's just get into a swim towards the light what is this Oh Mike he's rocking out he's ready to go oh dude look you actually like flap his tail that's so cute oh my goodness I was not expecting to try and recreate the beginning of Finding Nemo straight away Bob little face where he's going you go towards the lights never advised to swim straight into the light I've always heard never to swim towards the light but since I'm a beautiful little goldfish I'm going that's a giant fish ahead please don't eat me whoa look at the size of this dude these fish it oh wait I'm being sought I died hadn't I I've died no I'm just living the dream it is exactly the same all these controls are gonna be horrible dudes so horrible but that's what these guys are known for it's a little their fish tank who did this so we need to swim as a fish inside a hamster ball while controlling the camera and while trying to swim at the same time this is going to be so difficult press f2 to provide feedback so far it's frustrating but I think that's the idea this is a checkpoint oh I made it yes give me the fireworks well well well well well calm down calm down friends I'm actually doing okay at this whole fish thing on a ramp oh no oh no no wait didn't smash it looks like it's pretty close though can we just leave instead I don't wanna be owned by these stupid humans anymore they put a lid on my fish tank dude this is so hard to control it's like you've also got the momentum of the water to deal with this is ridiculous where am I gonna go now I'm stuck inside this bowl and I've got nowhere to go oh wait the doors open I'm going set me free I'm going back to the ocean friends I don't know how I ended up the way you stuck to the ceiling of the ball was incredible if you pick up too much speed this copy just sticks to the ceiling right come on then I'm gonna go and find my parents they left me here all alone last thing I knew I was in a pet shop and I was waving them goodbye with my little gammy fin wait what's that I'm gonna collect this I got distracted what is this a scale Oh it just made a fancy noise great I'm glad I wasted all that time get over here all right coming a little fishy we're going out into the big wide world oh I think I've got these controls down you know he says as he crashes I want to leave this place I don't know what human picked me up but oh no well careful No Oh what have I done oh no look at him what am I gonna do now oh my goodness what do they do you died on the way towards freedom I killed him I'm glad they didn't name him otherwise I'd be crying right now this is made me feel really bad right let's go again oh it saved my checkpoint okay right we just need to go directly forwards come on there we go I'm slaying it roll yes oh yes I'm talking about the beds behind the counter I'm not really sure why this is here but I'm glad it was cuz otherwise my ball would have broken oh we do actually need to get out of the door this is the only way we're down at the same place that's the only way to get down safely though but I'm pretty sure if you go down to that road you're dead anyway ain't no fish surviving a drop like that no way oh man this is driving me nuts I just want to go out the door come on fella let's go little guppy no go right right fish yes flap flap is that what fish do do they flap right I need to go over here I think this is working actually there we go that's the stuff Oh Oh No don't fall off the end please no I'll wait goodness I got the checkpoint though he's still rolling where are you going now where do I go oh wait I need to make it to the ocean don't I it's exactly like finding Nemo but where is the safest way to get down I'm gonna go this way I don't think this is it no that definitely wasn't it Opie copy I'm so sorry I don't mean it the darkness is fading in I've killed him again come on guppy we're doing a good job okay we're doing all right you're doing you're doing fantastic we just need to go a little bit left not go too fast and hit the Bubblegum there we go right where do we have to go next I'm guessing this way this is so difficult to control Eric and this is more difficult to control than the piece of bread now that's saying something where am I going is this the right way oh no this is not the right way fish though no not this way oh not like this not like this Oh buddy fees oh that kills me so that is not the way that we need to go right I have a feeling we actually need to go this way oh we do look that's the power lines hmm oh we made it we made it we're alive copy we did it just be extra careful okay because your fish ball ain't looking too hot right now well careful careful careful you don't know what you're doing you crazy man so we need to go across the power lines I am in a bowl full of water and you want me to go towards the power lines that isn't fair oh my goodness I used to be so careful I'm picking up speed and I don't even know how oh come on little guppy oh you always made as well yes again I have called you young friends actually don't know how I get past this bit it's uh this way right pretty sure it's this way there we go guppy you got this now you need to spin around this way it's also with the physics of the water no no oh no oh wait I thought we made it there that have been magical yeah with the physics of the water where it makes everything just look big I have no idea where this fish is going oh this is gonna be so tricky is there another way to get across I'm seeing multiple ways just above the doughnut sign there's some power lines but this is the route I have chosen for me and my fishy friend go go oh I made it I've definitely made it I actually got tears in my eyes I feel awful oh oh I'm a dancer these power lines oh this is where I'm supposed to go at least I didn't do any damage to my ball right let's get this checkpoint before anything terrible happens to us hopefully a bird doesn't arrive like the seagulls from Finding Nemo please know I'm having flashbacks we made it I think we need to actually go to the donut sign now so let's get out of here look at him he's just stuck to the bottom of the bowl I'm not even pressing anything Go Fish stretch your legs stretch your fins we're going this way there's another another checkpoint let's get this one yeah look at this control precision beauty that is this fish summed up in one sentence oh no more power lines writing copy this one's a big one come on buddy here we go across the power lines to freedom oh oh you got it let's go well done buddy here we go over the top and I think memory serves me correctly that's right oh no there's a road next to get the checkpoint police thank you for that oh no oh no you missed you idiot there's no way to move after this you're doomed you can't even drink up the water to survive it's all evaporates it's I'm dead well at least maybe a little bit further so we need to go off the edge with some kind of speed and get onto this cushion and then it's the road oh no this is Finding Nemo flashbacks I'm just gonna go for it let's go Corphish Go Go fitzy oh we just missed the car this is pure luck you three great now where do we go can we just go into the water I don't think we can get over this ledge sir I think we got a head this way right I think when it's like a flat surface I'm feeling like a confident little fish but if there's anything but a flat surface I'm not feeling like a confident little fish oh wait I think I go this way I think I made it let's go copy let's get out of here swim to freedom you could be with your friends and the Sharks yes why do you hate me wait what I don't don't I really don't hear you look at your little face here's what you would have got but you're still in the bowl oh yeah it's there away you can smash the bowl right near the end and block in the water well that kept you a star is that how you get it well I feel pretty accomplished next up suburbia we made it to the ocean but maybe this is a different fish uh oh no oh no this is definitely a different fish um I need to go this way don't I write all of this stuff is coming off the shelf do you think your cat did it nope it was your fish we need a name for this fish last one was guppy this one is reg courage let's go buddy oh man you need some strength in this spin to get round here quick by the way like yes and roll graciously onto the mattress well done friend we got a checkpoint without dying this is progress now I think we need to get to this ladder but I'm not quite sure how we're gonna do that let's try going this way full speed ahead that's the wrong way fishy if this monitor would just get out the way we should be able to get down because she won't be she got this bro don't panic that's not bad oh that's not bad at all yes Oh Oh did you see that well happens you reg I know what's gonna happen to you now but what happened to you just now you stretched out like what are those silly strings what's going on at least we made it to the other checkpoint right now it's all calm before the storm this music does cheer me out a little bit but it's also like really happy at the same time something drastic is happening I think we need to go on this very very thin piece of scaffolding and try my hardest to focus I've only wanted tiny little fish brains so this is proving tricky get the scale oh I need to call the trampoline don't I I almost did it as a fish out of water no he was attracted to the swimming pool what idiot courage oh yeah that's me jump through the air at least we know which way we need to go now is it this way I think he might be to be able to make it down this hall there we go okay that Debbie was not it that was dumb well done reg about you look out your window in the morning me my where's reg where is he you look down and he's dead in the gutter oh wait I see it now this hole was butter who's a red herring we need to go this way well this one is tricky Oh reg reg come on around the corner that's it buddy there's a checkpoint right ahead of you just be careful this ball is fragile swim swim Reggie you got it buddy well done oh now we need to drop off the roof I thought we were gonna have to go on the trampoline but I don't think that's gonna happen Oh No maybe it's gonna happen now Oh No oh I think it's gonna happen reg no just this game is amazing I've been waiting for an indie game like this to come out for so long like all the silly indie games have just disappeared gah reg lordship to the sky that's what I'm talking about yes oh that's right talking about Reggie you did it look how happy is give me the scale thank you the question is reg buddy where do we go now huh I'm not sure I'm liking this Oh [Music] No Oh he stretched out again and now we're in the sewer is this where fish go when they die I think it might be if you stay in this water too long Reggie boy you are going to turn into a mutant right we need to jump out of this place fast as you can that's not as fast as you can I must say though this is so much easier the control in him in that stupid ball oh oh I always made it oh no there's other fish here oh wait never mind they're just glass bottles or this could have gone horribly there they are okay we should probably be careful of those as well we don't want to be turned into tiny little pieces of sushi all right let's go buddy the same again how do we get over this but it's--but huge Oh all right we're gonna have to do a big run-up and a dive which is something I didn't do just now so I'm a bit worried right reg let's give this your best shot as fast as you can but the boot as well what absolute champion please don't get caught in this rubbish what is going on here team trees help the environment don't throw your glass bottles into the sewer oh do we have to do this again Reggie boy I think we're gonna make another jump can you are your fins up to the task let's go jump what are we stuck oh I thought it was gonna die total ban even worse than making the jump that would've been terrible and now I've got to do another one mind you I think reg is ready to take on the Olympics this fish can fly do it for Nemo buddy do it for Nemo oh you did really like Nemo then huh Midori go no that's no way to go buddy please don't die here oh my goodness I don't know whether it's healthier for him to breathe in fresh air oh no oh no oh the enemy came from where we least expected it all pollution this is where you shouldn't throw your plastic containers into the sewer I have to do that whole thing again I'm so upset with pollution right now no no Smasher against the wall oh no he's dead again for goodness sake this screen is still funny yes I've made it right go free again straight again same thing again buddy here we go avoid the bottles let's go oh so close I've never had more respects for a fish look all this pollution it's disgusting right bring it back buddy bring it back This Is It this is the run this is the run here we go Oh as he made it Oh oh that was difficult dude having to do all three in a row was awful right into the sewer buddy let's try and escape this place maybe we'll end up in a toilet that'd be great there he goes it's also painful and he keeps stretching as well poor guy this is what happens to Mario when he goes through his pipes in his game it's not as comfortable and glamorous as it looks oh oh okay we're in a wet floor bucket great this guy's got some serious strength dudes look at the speed we can pick up in this thing Reggie boys got a new rides this is great I'm out of here oh wait never mind yeah I'm definitely out of here is he gonna want it back no no let's go I don't even know where we're headed this is way easier to control than a fish ball is he behind me oh it's not really running is he you could have to run faster than that buddy I've got fins of Steel Oh No I taunted him and now in my ad she catch me let's go Reggie come on you got this bro this little man is ten centimeters of pure muscle flapping away tried to get away from his predators oh no there's rocks why they're rocks this is a Fedor don't touch me don't touch me you know who I am a fish like that so mean you happy with yourself sir you just killed a fish in cold blood why would you do that to me okay let's not stop this time okay chill I know you have something against fish but I'm out of here so at least we know now we need to avoid the rocks I think we need to go left and then right it's like a weird kind of slalom course that's it that's the stuff now we need to go hard right hard right Reggie boy oh no no no no we've messed it up we stuck on one tiny bit of rock come on Reggie you've got this buddy don't tip it up either oh no he's really close oh I committed not living it wasn't my fault yo my thumb is getting tired I can't imagine being an official day flapping that tail you're bound to get tired are we picking up some speed now buddy you wait till I get to that section I'm out of here I think there's an easier route this way whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa okay be careful well this might be the quickest run yet I could see the water I can see it Reggie let's go buddy I need to go run this way don't hit the rocks please don't hit the rocks none another I don't even gonna look how far behind us he is Reggie let's go watch out for the other rocks of the hill why are again so into this come on Reggie you got this buddy here we go super speed oh yes haha five I got an F twenty one smash balls that took me 20 almost 25 minutes to do that's in the Seine and then I think it takes us back to the bedroom this is where we started right that was a lot of fun I enjoyed that so frustrating but you made that little bit more progress every single time just like I am bread I enjoyed this it was cute when is this game gonna come out please I liked how they changed it to the water bucket that was very clever you know what I think that's pretty much it for this game so far a great demo I'll definitely play the full version when it comes out guys if you enjoyed this video please leave a like that we
