I was NOT prepared for *PUSS IN BOOTS 2* to GO THIS HARD!

y'all want to see something sad but kind of cute [Music] someone's in the cone of shame today he's not happy about it hey guys what's up welcome back to my channel I'm Natalie and today we're watching Puss in Boots The Last Wish [Music] welcome back to my channel everyone thank you so much for being here and welcome if you're new today we are diving on into a movie that was never really on my list a movie I did not expect to get highly requested and that is Puss and Boots the last wish I'm quite surprised to be watching this movie quite frankly um I remember that this came out relatively recently but I've never seen any of the Puss in Boots movies but once I watched Shrek 2 a little while ago here on my channel I started getting this movie heavily requested a lot of people were telling me it's incredible you have to watch it you don't even need to watch the first one I'm sure there are going to be plenty of movie purists in the comments down below who wish I would have watched the first movie I did do a poll for this over on my patreon to help decide what to do and it was kind of a semi-close pole but most people seem to vote for just watching this movie and not needing to watch the first one and because I've heard mixed reviews on the first one I just didn't really want to waste any time and just wanted to jump on into the movie that a lot of people are choose from all over the place and I am quite excited to watch this it's a rainy gloomy day here in Los Angeles today I feel like every day in the last three months has been a rainy gloomy day we did get one sunny day yesterday and it was like foreign it was a foreign experience I I remember I was walking the dogs with Tyler and I was like it's actually like hot like I'm actually warm right now and it was such a weird unfamiliar feeling we've just been getting hammered with rain here in LA but when it is gloomy and Moody and maybe a little bit chilly outside I do love to settle in for a cozy feel good type movie we've been watching a lot of The Last of Us recently some messed up stuff in the boys some crazy stuff like ex machina so I'm really excited to sit down and watch something cozy something feel good with a character that I love I definitely loved Puss in Boots and Shrek 2. he's adorable so cute such a fantastic addition to the Shrek world and because of that I'm really excited to see this movie and yeah with all that being said I think we should hop on into it so if y'all are ready grab a drink grab a snack and let's get into the movie [Applause] the cow even wants him to sing I couldn't possibly start it's gonna start I'm already awing and the high pitches are coming y'all if he's starting off this confident singing a song about being Fearless he's gonna experience some fear uh oh who just entered oh is this his house are we throwing a house party [Music] there's still PL there no one's leaving they're all just still dancing it's great oh he's gonna get touched this movie he's gonna get touched by a blade and it's gonna freak him out oh what she's a gigantic rock mountain creature coming just woke him up really duck tires don't work on gas but something bigger is coming free holy for Hollis he's just scooping people up and putting them in his bag launching him on the strings double time play double time oh we got him in the nail spiny spinner [Applause] oh he's he looks fine good gracias the coffee now he's ready to go I love the like the style eyes ah the wave I love the stylization of like the frame rate where it's got like this old kind of action cartoon feel to it hey you want to see something cool he's such a little badass no one is running away guys the thing is falling uh Kitty oh he's fine he timed it just right he timed it just right the chicken brought him risk that is pretty incredible I'm not gonna lie the legend will never die [Music] is the Bell what scared him are you kidding me the Bell is what's gonna be the thing that makes him have fear that's hysterical it was the Bell this is serious what is it and Boots is he sick you died huh oh he died relax I have boots I laugh at this well he's got nine of them huh oh is he gonna go through a lot of his lives in this movie how many times have you died already uh uh I don't know I never counted you never counted little kitty come on uh-oh it was the running of the bulls oh the woman distracted him [Music] [Laughter] oh he played poker with a dog I can't always lands on his feet he's wearing a green hat is it like Saint Patty's Day oh my God he jacked jacked Puss in Boots in the mustache oh no oh he's used up eight lives hasn't he so what is that like uh before Oh my God that makes eight poos you are down to your last life oh no no more Adventures for you no you need to retire this is the address of Mama Luna she is a cat fancier always on the lookout for a new lap cat oh he's not much of a lap cat though I am boots I am no one slap cat cute oh why did the candle blow out is the ghost of death coming or something it's the Grim Reaper he's a giant he's the big bad wolf if it isn't pushing boots himself the Grim Reaper is a wolf that's awesome there's a famous hat the feather and of course the boots he's really scary with his eyes he's really scary hey Bounty Hunter oh is he just a boundary Hunter why did I think he was literally like a grim reaper thank you oh he's good oh no oh he looks scared no oh that is terrifying I'm not gonna lie oh God that is so scary to see coming at you I'm not gonna lie Oh The Blood no no oh his hair's standing up yeah oh he says life is flashing before his eyes oh my God oh ran [Music] oh my God what does that mean does Corey mean run because that would be terrifying if that's what it meant run run little cat oh he's oh he's been shaking to his core I knew this was coming but it's still sad to see it's got to be a lab cat now yeah I wonder if there's gonna be like another cat here and he's gonna fall in love or something we did see a little cat in his flashback of like his life flashing before his eyes I am no longer worthy oh yes you are it's like John Wick you'll you'll dig him up again don't worry who is your favorite sad because he's got fear now that's how we stand that's how he's taking it oh he looks so sad poor baby oh oh I shall call you pickles oh God does she make him wear kittens because of the claws she doesn't want the cats scratching her stuff so she makes some more mittens nope yeah did I say something salty it's my second language my second language so he's like the only human-like cat he's cooking honestly if I saw a cat doing all this I'd just be like oh okay well that's pretty impressive you can pee in the toilet one less litter box for me to clean oh he's being conditioned and turned into a cat all the days just blurring into one this is so sad it's got a beard oh God is this an oh another Bounty Hunter wow there are some scary bounty hunters after him this lady is riding bears but these ones these ones are just right it's a funny man that's hysterical I can't we got the big bad wolf after him Goldilocks and the three pairs do you mind trying is that a dog you're a talking cat I'm a talking cat oh I you look like a dog me I don't have a name or a homie [Music] unwanted take a number I won't to be left alone so he's just gonna sit there and watch you sink him in a river in a river this is really sad oh and I swear oh God he's got no idea so I guess I'm still it that is funny no no don't tell him don't explain it to him you want him to stay happy Cricket I won't make your bag oh cute she's gonna give him a shave oh oh they're having a little moment there's that handsome face I remember the face I haven't seen scenes I Santa Coloma she didn't forget here you can have my guttito blade oh that's nice thank you what are you doing it's patching that's what he does uh oh oh no oh no how did he get through so easily oh wow is his Baker's Dozen are still alive I don't even have the map little bow creep little bow creep stop throwing my men at me oh good run run puppy run and they all got through so quickly [Music] what happens confetti the wolf is here is the wolf actually here or is he just having a panic attack because of oh he's running away oh no wait oh no soft pause oh no it's gonna change this honestly is so interesting to have the map change multiple times depending on who's holding it it leaves the story so much room to change I feel like he's just like fear is getting to him like I Feel Like the Wolf isn't even here he's just seeing the wolf having a panic attack oh is he gonna be a therapy dog is he gonna be a therapy dog oh oh my God that's really cute I wasn't expecting that that's so cute oh that's really cute I need that wish he lives back tell Kitty she would understand no no no she cannot hear anything why she would understand but that's just one bad Heist Santa Coloma was in the highest it was a church she's gonna hear this conversation oh I'm good did they get married no way everything he was supposed to marry her and he ran away oh that's so sad I got it I am ashamed I just wish this movie's so emotional she's pretending like she didn't hear that we'll get it back we've been in worse pickles but who told you Pickles one day nothing nothing it's finally happening I can chase that wish I really love this like version of the story with Goldilocks is a member of the family not a big time crime syndicate love a big time crime family isn't that right Goldie she better be making a wish that's right for the family is she not he looks like our cabin back home you really think our cabin is in the middle of the Dark Forest why do I feel like Goldilocks is wishing for like her other family since she's an orphan if she's got a secret wish for sure oh this was it what was it Mama the day A Little Orphan girl broke into our cabin and stole our hearts little brother was already annoying our world I came just oh that's really sweet and her wish is probably like she feels guilty yeah because she misses her parents that's so sad oh my God there's there's like so many complex emotions in this movie already I'm like already so emotional you know I never had much as a kid just loving parents and stability in a Mansion Just loving parents stability a mansion useless crap like that he's dying I'm surprised that Jack hasn't squashed this little bug yet you're a wish is horror yeah you're horrible yeah he is what took you so long idiot now he's gonna flick him yeah you're not chatty are you oh God poor girl poor girl she's the last one left nowhere to go softballs really let's see what the map has to say oh but it's gonna be terrifying it's really better when we let perito hold the map no oh it's oh we're stuck in limbo oh my God look at them defying the laws of gravity through dancing I know it's impressive they got it together oh look at this is so cute look at them the dog no I knew that I knew that was gonna be a problem we contracted with this oh oh cause you're looking at it together okay of lost souls are they gonna get separated oh no you gonna get pretty I'll find a way out of here oh this is really cute he's got to go into the cave of lost souls by himself you know he's totally gonna see the big bad wolf in here like a part of his like nightmare hey whoa always a pleasure to see me wow the cat the lion roar it's the Irish Saint Patty's Day life well so far this is wholesome not it's not scary mix now okay okay you're all a bunch of knuckle dragging honey scrounging grub oh fishy nugget and you're snooter I like the Cowboys Jeep he just he just I wish I had a family like this oh he's so cute you won the orphan Lottery yeah I like his jib as well let's keep him what he's gone he's already gone oh my God I do love this family and Goldie definitely wants to wish for her family back and so she's feeling guilty it's so sad but they're really cute without us you will always live a life of fear oh oh boy oh goody ah bye Saint Patty's Day go past that as I like to call back I was there to witness all of them what he really is the Grim Reaper huh he ain't a bounty hunter I was right the first time [Music] go ahead Ron firing makes it more fun for me oh god oh Jesus Christ okay so he really is here that's exciting that's so good oh we're back to the frame rate changing of like the action comic book feel he's having a panic attack oh they think he's running away it's not it where is he going he's not leaving you he's just having a panic attack they're thinking the worst of him but that's it's not it gold day I'm starting to think this Wish isn't what you've promised us I agree yeah what's up blasted important that you've got a stranded in this haunted forest that what a pro of of friendly that's dating that's devastating that's so devastating I was always afraid it was too good to last oh and whether you think we're your family or not if this is something that will make you happy oh she's a good Mama Bear no come on boys oh she's oh she's oh she's a good mama bear oh that's devastating that's honestly devastating goody theft is after me what I've been called a lot of things it's not you dude I mean honestly just anyone getting the wish besides Jack is fine really Jack is the only one we don't want getting the wish all right I'm gonna bust you up and then I'm gonna wear your clothes all right weird Goldie they need you they need you Goldie come on Goldie they need you Goldie they need you come on Goldie is so cute what do you think no I got it I got it how about just I don't know let him pick a name you know if it's the same to you I think I'll just stick with perrito yeah perito is good you know to be honest jumper is pretty good yeah but no I will keep her workshopping it oh oh my God this is adorable my heart I won this vacation to be perfect oh the governor are they gonna take over the governor's house again no they're his bow they took his boat team friendship is wanted where are we headed anyways off to find new adventures and and see some old old friends yeah Shrek far far away oh my God my heart this is so good I really do feel like animated movies have such a special ability to really encapsulate the perfect protagonist Journey the perfect emotional climaxes and sentimental moments and really have these like beautiful stories of like human emotion told in the perfect little package without feeling too cheesy or rushed I just feel like animated movies time after time if they're well done they're just freaking perfect and this was one of them this was definitely one of them oh God I understand why a lot of y'all wanted me to watch this this was just freaking great like Shrek 2 I think was funnier by and large but this this movie was so much sweeter and more sentimental it touched on such deep human emotions like the fear of death letting go of your ego facing your fears even if those fears are like you're scared to you know get married scared to commit to the one that you love like you have to face those fears to really live a life that's worth living and the whole like Side Story the whole B plot going on with Goldilocks and the Bears and her wanting to wish for her family back but then realizing that she does have her family and she's been with them all along and she's really lucky um there were just so many Beautiful Moments I I really really loved this it was so adorable and so beautiful I feel like there was something in it for everyone story-wise I also just love the little touches of the dog being this sidekick character who just will never leave you alone because he's a dog and just him being relentlessly optimistic and positive and loyal because he's a dog and him wanting to be a therapy dog and even that coming into play when Puss in Boots is going through his panic attack like that just really broke me I just really wanted to cry in that moment I think I did cry but we'll say wanted to cry it was just it was so sweet this whole movie was just so magnificently done and obviously there were a lot of like little chekovs gun moments things coming back around that you expect obviously we'll come back around but there were things that I had forgotten like the gatito blade the little blade coming back around I'd kind of forgotten about it but when it did come back around I was like ah that makes perfect sense yes this is great I love that you know he needs this blade that kitty gave him to help him defeat his fear but then the whole like puppy dog eyes bit with perrito using that as a distraction completely forgot that he had been trying to do that throughout the movie um that little moments like that were just so funny and so heartwarming and perfect it was just a great movie I really had I don't have anything bad to say about it it was just awesome real quick I just want to look up the cast because there were definitely voices that I recognized John Mulaney was Jack Horner that was pretty easy I feel like his voice is pretty distinctive I did not recognize Florence Pew as Goldilocks that actually really threw me off um looking at that now I I did not I would not have guessed that that was her but that's really cool this was a lot of fun and very needed on a gloomy rainy day when I just want to watch something heartwarming and cozy this was adorable and I like want to show it to all of my friends now that haven't seen it because it's just so sweet it's just
