I tried FIXING Flags From Around the World

I recently the best and worst flags of the world video of course that was just my own opinion I was ranking them from like top to bottom but a lot of you guys were suggesting I try to improve these flags myself cuz I had like certain qualifiers that what I personally liked what was my own tastes why I had certain Flags lower than others I'm not qualified at all do this so that's gonna be great I've always made my own thumbnails and I'm far from the best thumbnail maker on YouTube I'm very far from it but I haven't working with country borders and flags for basically like seven years of my channel so hopefully you know I can impress like one person out there I don't know maybe this bring that down to like 0.5 let's like slightly impress one person I think my biggest thing is just simplicity like let's use less lines let's brighten it up and just make it simpler full disclosure though I am in no way as talented as the people on this subreddit if you want to see some really good stuff you should go here I want to make something that just got like three episodes here I'd be so happy so I'm gonna use a couple sites to see what they consider is the worst flags of the world so it's not my own opinion these are their opinion so don't get mad I already gave my opinion on things Rwanda okay this seems simple enough I like this you already given me you know simple thing to work with at least you know I actually don't think this one is that bad I don't think it's that bad honestly I feel like we should change this green though like I feel like this weird dark green doesn't really fit with like the nicer tones up here I'm disappointing so many people there's like hue and there's like brightness there's so many different ways to describe color I don't know just winging it guys I'm just winging it okay that might be a little bit too bright let's take that back okay ah see I like that a little bit more a little bit more I've a feeling I'm gonna be looking up a lot of Suns and a lot of stars in this one just a hunch just a hunch definitely someone needs to slap this guy on their flag come on now what are we doing out here you want some real Chad energy this is how you get some Chad energy BAM you're welcome Rwanda I think this Sun is actually kind of cool to be honest and I don't know if I want it like centered or yeah maybe centered I don't know it's really simple changes and it probably doesn't need to be over here but I mean I think it looks see I think if there's something fitted some improvements oh yeah there we go hey I like that that's weird but okay I think that works maybe I only get so many people that say this looks so ugly it's just my opinion I know I know it is so weird to see all these articles rank flags that I thought were cool like at the bottom of their own lists I thought this was kind of cool for the most part it's different you know it's different I guess that says a lot o Central African Republic yeah what are we gonna do about this mess you know but this Democratic Republic of Congo I like that that's kind of cool kind of kind of I just realized there's probably a lot of people that can make even more improvements on top of my like barely any type of improve its borderline not even really improvements just moving things around this one just has so much color like that's that's my issue with it and then you get this random star up here what do you do with all this I've been sitting here for like two minutes I don't even know where to begin what do you do with this we need to start just making some choices telling you know what to do we're gonna get rid of this red and I'll keep I'll keep your star there I'll keep your star BAM you get the red the star it gets the red and what if we just do something real funky and turn this into it oh okay I think the thing is I need to have some sort of resemblance to the other flag the original flag doesn't have any resemblance at all then I didn't really do a good job okay that just looks really weird now think it might made a huge mistake but if we make this white still weird oh wait a second BAM up first of all there's got to be a better yeah like red in here that we can get yeah I don't know I don't know I don't know where to go with this one maybe there's a reason why no one updates their Flags cuz it's a lot harder out there than I thought this one still looks pretty terrible to be honest it still looks not good let's get rid of the star no star how about that how about that you get all your colors just no star we don't need the stars it's definitely different you gotta admit you know it's definitely different it's like legit what I do with thumbnails like I spend so long just like continuing to play around with it until I figure something that I kind of like about no white can we get rid of the white at least I mean we got to get rid of some of these colors guys obviously this is not the best program to be doing this stuff in I know the image quality is terrible why does this remind me of Texas this kind of reminds me of Texas but you know I think this is a little bit better then well I don't know it's a big T there's no T you know if there Nate well if they were like this Central Texas Republic then maybe this would been interesting I still cannot get over this like I don't want to give up BAM nope that was terrible - oh it's so bad it's so bad alright yeah your flag is definitely becoming unrecognizable there was just too many colors to incorporate now I know I could just completely redesign it but that's not the goal here I trying to keep some original inspiration because the flag was obviously a beauty like in the first place now I kind of ripped on Australia in my flag ranking video yeah I said that you know you can't have the British flag in the corner I know that there isn't isn't there like a proposal to do an Australian I like another Australian flag let me see if I can do better than that probably not probably not it really should've done some research to figure out like why most of the stars look like this and then there's this random one here I don't know why I'm feeling like the most basic change just a real basic change get rid of this first no no I mean that's that's like too simple but a funny thing is like it's well maybe this is not the best Australia to use cuz like I really want to cut off Tasmania but I know if I do that that that's probably a problem cutting off a huge portion of the country but hey I mean it's been done before Cyprus just rocks they're their own look on their flag and I like that kind of actually I mean maybe why I include the leaves just just rock it just yellow and orange okay you know if you want to keep your old red you could just you could do that oh wait what about some blue in there oh no no I mean that's kind of too obvious throwing a kangaroo on this thing but you know I'm just trying I think wait let's see the new flag proposal oh that's right green like green is like a big thing forgot y'all like green oh man some of these I think are way better than mine well I think I got this one right I mean you can't just turn it green and yellow you can't do that dang that's a good one too I don't know what's going on with these weird circles though ah yeah that's pretty uh that's I like that okay maybe a little too big but you know that's that was my initial choice but I didn't know if that was gonna worse a giant's like star right here I thought that would be lazy but maybe sometimes that's the best way to do about like go about this so does that green you guys using that something like that oh that looks terrible never mind okay hey but I mean well it's not the right tone of green but you know what about you make this stars green no that's so bad what if we just made some of the stars green how about that no I don't really like that either feel free to completely disregard this Australia I know you do private these ideas okay forgive me for the poor quality I literally just jacked that tiny resolution and just blew it up but I okay you know okay you guys are literally getting an inside look of what it's like for me to make thumbnails and it's kind of terrifying because I obviously I just I spend way too much time unlike not that good of stuff I like how like this stars look good and then for some reason this one looks like it was drawn by a kindergartner it's just I I mean I should have probably just found another star and put it up here yeah don't think I'm gonna be able to beat this one to be honest I it's not gonna happen but hey I will I will assume I beat this one a new Australian flag perhaps please tell me mine is better than that looking back I don't know if it is it's just barely III really wanted to cover this one but Poland's what what am I supposed to do with this what am I supposed to do oh I got an idea we'll just flip it on the oh oh no we can't do that either too complicated to complicate who got Indonesia we got my Monaco even Singapore I mean hey yet even Singapore some print they're doing something I mean yeah the only I could think of is throwing this bad boy back on it but what else do we do after that the ones coat of arms spring that from back in the day I mean I guess that already doesn't even look that bad I mean why not that's like too simple though I feel not right for just doing that but I mean you know actually if I was a good graphic designer which I am clearly not but I would probably like re do this okay is that is that illegal with the country Poland allow you haven't they had this design for a really long time they probably wouldn't want you to do that don't we just like rock like yeah like the whole Japan / Canada flag strategy just just bam simple background they will assemble it a little complicated though this is a little complicated wait isn't this just like the EU for flag of Poland or something like that you sure I just made the exact old like some mod does it like this okay what the hell believes what is this what am I supposed to do with this Belize what is come on I don't know I I don't I don't know just gonna start throwing out ideas let's just jump into it no but I tried to keep some of the colors what if you put it in like a red background no all right we're moving the strips we're moving the strips okay automatically looks a little bit better although it looks just like US state flags like that's all it is just a blue background and just something in the middle I actually didn't mean to do this but I kind of like it like around the edges like I don't think I can leave like that okay yeah maybe let's just take this symbol let's just like take this stuff and I don't know maybe maybe do something with it oh no I think I immediately regret this decision we need like an updated version at some of this stuff what even is that is that what is that an axe and a row thing a thing ROS boats let's just get rid of all of it hold on damn there's a flag right there I think we can move on right oh my goodness it's terrible it is so bad I couldn't find the other things I just flipped this all this by the worst creation I made oh no I don't like this I'm sorry I've made it worse honestly please just keep your flag I'm just doing a terrible job you know what my only thing is like maybe let's get rid of the red how about that how about that at least it's like more color or in here let's give her that yellow in there hey I have no idea what I'm talking about a yeah that's okay no I don't know you know I there are some improvements I made some improvements no uh it bothers me I really want to spend like hours more working on these but like I I tried to hit more flow I just wanted to get through more flags okay I don't think the center framing was on with some of these but yeah okay okay okay you know I I've got nothing else to say and this is another thing that I didn't cover like ratios flag proportions think that I mean they're all over the place then we have Nepal we should probably made all the design designs like Nepal Aero flags is that what this is even called whatever this mathematic quadratic equation is it's hard to even look at this and just see how much people destroyed me look how awesome this NASA flag is flag of Wally gee it does get any better than that Oh flag of the United States in the style of flag of South Korea see they be doing curves and stuff like that I was just trying to like make the colors brighter here's a little union between Switzerland the British and Australia the most epic random union I think I could ever imagine oh that's smart Australia in the style of Canada didn't think about that maybe I will get some up boats this is a simple change the thing is the merging see I should have done more merging y'all remember when Libya had this absolute gem of a flag I see I can do it I can do it it's justified if Libya did it then I could I could just do it for some of these flags I try to redesign Belize I'm looking at you actually I'm looking at like all of you guys Wow look at this oh gee I need to paint the oh that's a good idea for a video love it I love it okay I need to stop this is this has really hurting me but you know I did say that I wasn't gonna be anywhere as good as some of these so let me know down below if you want to see me redesign more flags I only got to cover five here cuz I end up taking way longer on each one that I thought it was going to I'm sorry I just I just can't I can't stop
