I SUFFERED For Cuphead's Platinum Trophy

cuphead is an amazing video game with a beautiful art style but man is it difficult with an 8 out of 10 difficulty rating cuphead is one of the hardest platinums you can get it's a good thing then that I love to suffer because in this video we are going for the platinum trophy for cuphead the first step is to beat the game collect all the coins so I can buy upgrades and complete as many miscellaneous trophies as I can along the way this was the easy step to getting the platinum and I still got destroyed come on carrots yes taking names my first boss first try dude yeah suck it carrot boss broccoli's better anyways not today pink ghosts hey Perry persistence complete 20 parries all right [Music] yes Rubble perfect run complete level without getting hits come on come on come on yeah knock out defeat every boss in Inkwell aisle one let's go [Music] oh cutting Corners oh I found a shortcut that's what that one is hey Perry performance oh we did 100 parries nice come on come on cupheads yes a day at the fair defeat every boss Inkwell aisle too hey hey oh bouncing ball let's go I failed though [Music] yes the magician Lord attend all the super Arts let's go foreign [Music] yeah a trip downtown it'd be every boss in Inkwell aisle three yes [Music] okay that should be the last coin right here coffers Bowl okay every coin and all the levels all right oh and high roller get every coin in the game eventually I made it to the last two bosses of the game King Dice and the devil as I was fighting King dice though something weird happened uh uh did my game just bug out what is going on [Music] what casino nights complete the casino oh my God it just bugged out on me rolling sixes [Music] King dice without taking a hit uh okay [Music] after the fight with dice it was time to get the two endings and be done with step one first I had to select yes to join the devil and get the bad ending selling out then I reloaded my save selected no this time and fought the devil for the good ending foreign come on yes swing you sinner the fee of the devil for the first time let's go ALS saves complete the game on normal right on with my first playthrough done I decided to complete the DLC before finishing the main game in the DLC you unlock a new character named Miss chalice who has different abilities than cuphead DLC also offers new weapons as well that are super powerful so I immediately bought the crack shot which shoots out pink projectiles at home and on target while doing massive damage with that weapon equipped on Miss chalice I fought my first boss of the DLC yeah yeah knockout oh my God he's still alive there it is oh my God the latest sensation if your boss would want a pork rinds new weapons oh and Alive and Kicking to be the boss with Miss chalice dude they psyched me out there as you play through the DLC sometimes you'll see a ladder fall down from the sky this leads to a King that makes you fight five mini bosses for a trophy the catch is you fight by only dodging and pairing once I beat all five bosses once I got a trophy foreign games Champions let's go I eventually fought my way through all the bosses until I got to this giant gnome boss this was the last boss before the final boss once I defeated the gnome boss I would unlock a trophy yes vacation the Wilds to feed every boss in Inkwell aisle and Porcelain power to feed a boss with a super art oh and the Golden Touch to be the boss one miss challenge's super Arts oh dude three trophies now it was time for the final fight against this big Chef dude who's also a salt shaker which is really fitting because this fight made me super salty this was easily the hardest fight of the DLC I mean look at all the crap that's flying across the screen here I struggle on this guy for so long but eventually I got him [Music] I just threw so hard [Music] oh my gosh enough with the sugar cubes oh my Lord dude there's just so much crap going on in the screen crazy [Music] yeah first compliments of the chef after defeating the final boss it was time to get into the real challenges of the DLC remember that King that had mini bosses well now with the game done he had a new mode unlocked called The Gauntlet The Gauntlet is where you have to beat all five mini bosses back to back without dying for a trophy this definitely was a challenge but it was nothing compared to what was coming later [Music] [Music] sweet oh my gosh so close dude [Music] let's go let's go [Music] yes let's go let's go King's admiration defeat the king's gauntlets oh that was a fun little challenge the challenges keep getting harder now I need to get an A rank on all the bosses in the DLC to a rank a boss you have to defeat them under two minutes and 10 seconds have more than three Health when beating them Parry three objects while fighting and use six cards on your super meter you only actually have to do three out of four of these to get an A minus which also still counts so this actually wasn't too bad some of the bosses definitely gave me some trouble but for the most part I just grinded my way through the bosses until I got A's on all of them please let that be an A minus come on come on I'm not gonna make any minus oh my God it's a b [Music] yes that's a hundred percent an a just goes to show if you're having trouble just change it up a little bit let's go ranger we're hiring all bosses let's go guys oh my goodness getting a ranks was cake compared to the S ranks I had to S rank one boss for a trophy which means I have to do everything you need to do for an a rank but with less time and on expert mode I picked one of the easiest DLC bosses and was literally stuck on this guy for two hours mostly because towards the end of the fight the screen tilts and everything is sideways resulting in me losing my health real fast if I drop below three health I had to start over because the S rank was already gone towards the end of this run I just got so frustrated you can see it on my face I was just so done with this fight foreign [Music] come on tilt the head [Music] come on give it to me come on yes get an S rank get an S rank on a stage of Inkwell aisle oh my goodness [Music] I've been at that for so long and we finally did it God I suck at this game but at least we did it oh my goodness with the S rank done I was getting real close to wrapping up the DLC turns out there's a secret boss in the game to fight the secret boss you have to interact with these tombstones in a specific order the order is given to you in hints by these three guys up here once you activate the tombstones in the correct order you can select the middle Tombstone and the fight begins I really enjoyed this fight I thought it was pretty cool defeating the boss upgrades your broken Relic item into a cursed Relic that will come to play later for another trophy I'm already getting destroyed what the hell shoot oh my goodness [Music] oh my gosh oh my gosh okay we can do this we can do this we can do this oh my gosh yes a horrible night to have a curse survive the Nightmare secret boss after the secret boss I defeated 10 total bosses with Miss chalice decadent if you had 10 bosses with Miss chalice got nine Total Health points for a trophy we're gonna try to land oh never mind we have it nine HP at a time okay and I started my journey to upgrade my now cursed Relic I got from the secret boss the cursed Relic makes it so you only have one HP and your gun randomly changes when you stop firing to upgrade my curse Relic to a Divine Relic for a trophy I needed to beat about seven bosses with it equipped so I went back to the early levels and started there this is a pretty crazy challenge because you're pretty much always just one shot you do however get one extra Health on your first Parry let's go Paladin Tain great power oh my gosh that trophy was insane so with the Paladin trophy we actually now have the Divine Relic that is all of the DLC trophies done with the DLC finally done it was time to head back to the main game for the rest of the trophies in the main game I chose not to use any of the DLC weapons or Miss chalice because I wanted to keep the challenge how it was originally intended for the main game I need to get a ranks on all the bosses beat every boss on expert mode which is a nightmare by the way and complete pacifist runs on the Run and Gun levels so I decided to start with the a-rings this is pretty much the same as it was in the DLC not too bad just mostly a grind to finish [Music] ceramic strike be a boss with an extra special move [Music] I flower let's go Sheriff a rank or or hire an all bosses on the first Island boss [Music] to a rank or hired all the bosses in aisle two come on train what you think you're so cool because you're a train or something mayor a rank on all the bosses on aisle three yes let's go king of 10 a rank or hire all the bosses in hell yes we are the king beating the bosses on expert mode was the hardest part of the Platinum for me personally some bosses I seem to just Breeze right through without too much trouble but some I got stuck on for hours take this robot boss for example I hate him and his stupid robot face and all of his stupid robot bombs do I sound salty how about salty okay maybe a little bit yikes dude yikes foreign oh my goodness oh my God no way where did I get hit by two dude stupid bombs man this is stupid freaking bombs no oh [Music] no oh come on then let's go you crazy son of a die die die die die die die die [Music] die yes finally [Music] I'm so glad it's over with that was a nightmare actual nightmare [Music] eventually I made it to the devil the last boss of the game this was the hardest fight for me I kept dying right at the end I struggled for so long on this fight foreign [Music] nice dude no way no way [Music] I get so close all right all right all right get this guy out of the way just get absolutely destroyed by two chips immediately hit four times dude oh my gosh I was right how did I get hit by four times right there what am I doing come on come on come on yeah yes Beat the Devil at his own game oh man thank God it's over with an s holy crap I got an S man expert mode was a nightmare but with that done only two trophies were my way for the Platinum next up was the pacifist trophy so there are six Run and Gun levels in the game that are basically simple side scrolling levels to get the trophy I had to beat those levels without firing a shot or killing anything this was actually a lot harder than I thought it'd be because you have to use certain tricks to get past certain parts the key was using my invincibility super to help get past some of the really tricky levels one level in particular you have to Traverse upside down a lot and I hated this I was getting Crash Bandicoot core flashbacks eventually though I made it to the sixth level where you have to survive on this octopus's head while dodging all sorts of crazy projectiles oh I was right at the end oh I whiffed that [Music] how do you dodge these [Music] like how do you it's so Random have you dodged that it's so Random how the heck do you do this guys without getting hit [Music] yes [Music] yes pacifist we're so nice all right we only need one more trophy to get the Platinum I left a really kind of silly one for last the last trophy I needed for the Platinum was to beat a boss in a plane level using only the small version of the plane so when you fight in plane levels you can change your size by holding down a button this increases your speed to help you dodge projectiles but also lowers your damage and how far your bullets can shoot so if you want to hit a boss with your bullets you gotta get right up in their face my plan was just to put the boss on easy difficulty and it would be no problem this actually turned out to be so much harder than I thought it would but I've come this far I can do it now nothing's gonna stop me from getting this platinum trophy guys not even this stupid lady and her stupid attacks yeah so you have to get like real close to even hit with these bullets oh gosh I'm getting sloppy oh my gosh it's gonna take forever oh my goodness this is going to be fun this is going to be fun I'm really excited about this I think we're gonna be close oh geez woman die already yes Bravo Zulu to feed a boss using only the mini plane bullets Grand uproar obtain all the other trophies let's go oh my gosh there it is guys the cuphead platinum trophy an amazing game with an
