Expected shit, turned out to be a great and informative video. That seat looks like crap :(
haha fun video. I rented a Lamborghini Gallard Spyder out there before i got the diablo. It was in really rough shape. didnt matter i had a blast. it wouldnt shift gears occasionally. Rode hard and put away wet im assuming.
Did they dick you around when you returned it?
How much would Gotham Dream Cars charge for a 458?
edit:Okay, I've just checked and its substantially more.
It's it possible there was an accident on the driver side and the side airbag deployed out of the seat? I don't know how the cars are made. That might also explain the panel gap?
73,000 miles on the Ferrari.
Approximately ~$700/day for a max of 175 driving miles.
Assuming every driver maxes out on miles, the company grosses $292,000 from a $260,000 car (net ~$30,000).
Doesn't seem likeIt could be a smart investmentunless the car goes over 100k miles or something.if they a) bought it used (as other commenters suggested) and b) sold it after xxx amount of miles, since depreciation doesn't affect Ferrari too badly.E: thanks for the suggestions on the comment, everyone! Probably might be a good investment, even though the rental place looks to have not even taken care of the car. But hey, making money is making money.
I recently rented a 458 from Royalty Exotics in Vegas and although it was one of the best deals, $500/4 hrs, unlimited miles and no security deposit, it was a great car. Wasn't beat like the one in the video although it did have a slight tick but I just attributed that to being a rental car which I'm sure is abused. I doubt Rob rented from this place as I don't believe they have a black 458 in their fleet and they are also quite strict about insurance. Nice video though on what to watch out for when renting a car like this.
No one's said this yet... but I wouldn't trust any guy renting exotic cars that didn't immediately recognize /u/SuperSpeedersRob ... he literally revolutionized the business.
if i'm gonna spend money for a single day rental, i wouldn't give a shit if the car had fucking folding chairs inside it... if if looks good from the curb, that's all that really matters.
OMG 70k MILES! NOOOOOOOOOO! OH WOW, THE BUMBER DOESNT LINE UP!
