am i the only person that didn't even know the gauntlet was still a game mode within madden it is a madden 22 and thanks to your boy pizza i saw this video pop up my subscription box a few weeks ago it wasn't for that video i might have never took on the gauntlet for a video but it's been a few years since we've done so so let's do it again for madden 22 and try our best not to rage and once do is get a first down so a lot of these are simple but then you get to a point where a lot of them are freaking hard all right here i'm assuming we just have to get a first down or just complete a pass and you stopped like this is the worst start ever why did you stop in the middle of your route you weirdo so let's try this one again like we we're running into our players left and freaking right bro i hate how it keeps showing like the tutorials over the players because this is technically a tutorial even though it's on all madden i mean this should be easy handoff derek henry easy easy before the time runs out so i think the best way to go is straight right best ways to go straight there carry how much time do we have we have 10 seconds like this is i mean it's like it seems easy but it's not we have five seconds four seconds three seconds we're not gonna get this oh my god like how am i supposed to complete that maybe the right way's faster because we go this way this way see man the first 10 levels though they are normally a breeze i've already lost two lives and all here we go boss battle what do we have to do here flying v so avoid the hot spots and score a touchdown in the play without getting tackled or going out of bounds five blockers versus six defenders wish me freaking luck come on derek like maybe if you didn't my blockers did where the other blockers come from okay all right derek we're gonna hit yeah no touchdown man in the plate where do those blockers come from there's like a bunch of blockers behind me i guess but all my blockers are like running straight through the hot spot like do i just wait and like get behind everybody pancake them give me the outside blog for me okay boys i think on the second time of asking dear henry enzo challenge completed our second boss all we have to do here is just lead pass so it should be simple unless julio jones stops running here easy money easy level simple little pa roll out and we should have the receiver open it's a dot julio jones reception oh god the extra life challenge so success on this rep earns you one extra life the ball carrier needs to pass through a hot spot on the plate of past the ref it should be simple right is this a free life i mean technically because all i have to do is do this we got ourselves a free life get ourselves a life back oh now these are the ones i hate dude where you have to play defense i'm locked on this defender too i'm locked on kevin byer and i just did exactly what i wasn't supposed to do there we're strafing we're strafing i got you covered okay i guess it was like supposed to go to me in the first place we've already lost half our lives actually more than half our lives because we got one back and now here we have to do a hit stick oh hopefully najee doesn't make me look silly here boom okay that's simple let's go rashaan evans trying to earn yourself another contract oh here we go another freaking boss battle dude so score touchdown on the play use your speed to not get too close to the defenders is it just me versus them what do you mean dude how am i supposed to how am i supposed to do this hold on do i just run backwards or something hold on this might actually be a touchdown that's all i have to do oh this guy's not gonna catch me okay that's the easiest boss level i've ever done this feels like it's on rookie mode i wonder if gauntlet's always on rookie mode or something because it seems pretty simple but it's still like i've already lost three lives see easy easy freaking money for derek alright so this should be simple right rb on the wheel route i think that's josh reynolds with the reception we're literally only three levels away already from level 20. i'll have to get three yards here derek henry oh god that's not ideal at all maybe i won't make it to level 20. look for blasting game here at the backfield actually no i'm just going to scramble so simple get out of bounds level 18 time oh so now i have to punt and like the punt meter is just so confusing it's just so freaking slow this one should land in that little box right yeah easy that was an absolute perfect point one level away from level 20 and it's a boss battle i have to extend the play complete the pass inside the hot spot and you have conquered half the gauntlet tip take your time oh my god so somebody has to catch the ball in this freaking hot spot so that's a little tough that is not the hot spot i was looking for so i have two lives to go or be oh no keep your feet in the freaking box dude wait my lives aren't going down what is going on is this glitched i don't think my lives went down and i'm not complaining but still i have plenty of time here plenty of time plenty of time x oh god i threw it too freaking early but boys the lives aren't going down i'm not complaining i'm happy so um i guess we're gonna make it to level 20 but maybe not fair but i mean what else can i friggin do you want me to just quit b b oh come on go in the box dude keep running keep running why maybe why this should be it finally thank you and on the level 20 that was definitely a level that cheated for us but hey happy now we have to score a touchdown on third down and goal seven yards away this one says it's the difficulties hard even though chester last aj brown actually moves us on to level 21 let's go complete a pass for a first down before the timer runs out oh no what's the timer where was the timer at least i completed it oh god hard user coverage take away that area of the film prevent the wider shear from catching the pass oh my god dude that's a huge freaking box at least we can see his route come on come on okay like that should be completed right he still caught that he caught that are you serious well that's one way to lose a freaking life and now it actually counts towards us so we have one life left and that's what we lost it on that's just so stupid bro there's no way right are you god run it back run it back that was silly we're gonna beat this gauntlet we're getting to level 40. level two easy as could be i don't want to lose a life in the first 10 levels this time see i hate this though i have to actually run through the hot spot like it's harder than what you think dude i can't control my blockers see these are the ones that i hate like that's this is not in my control really bro that was all derek henry like my blockers let me get hit at least i get extra life immediately though oh it's this one again can you like hello like stay wait wait oh wait derek henry that's the best that's the best ever completion that's the best ever level completed ever holy crap dude i just got an extra life on that at least i got that bullcrap incomplete level back like what's the fastest route here i think it's the outside so if we go right again we literally have nine seconds to score five seconds okay that's simple right four three two one we still have six slides or halfway to ten make sure we get the first down here i mean i should have had that play plane blown up in the backfield my offensive line was horrible but derrick henry's good oh i hate these i hate these i hate these third down and seven i'm the defensive lineman here bud dupree they're gonna run the ball and thank god for my other players because the guy i always locked on didn't stop it so i have to do here in the oklahoma drills get a first down right oh that's the easiest drill ever this should be a boss level though unfortunately this is gonna be a boss battle and i've gotta score a touchdown without getting tackled or going out of bounds oh my god this is one of the hardest levels in gauntlet it's just like it's just all look bro it's all look okay derek henry bounce it outside no no oh it's literally like 10 on like 12 defenders that we have to block i think though this time around get the blocks bro get the freaking blocks get out of my way ryan oh no oh no derek keep breaking tackles oh i tried so hard like i'm too fast for my offensive lineman and they get in my way break that tackle derek stay up there it is finally we lost a few lives in the process but that's in my opinion one of the stupidest freaking challenges in the game and we completed it oh once again we have to prevent another freaking first down i can't get off the line this is his receiver is going to come down with it rather he's wide open double covered triple covered single cover he's gonna catch it every time at least that time we got to him but we only have three lives left what's up with all these defensive drills this time last time the drills were so much easier at least we got to big ben let's see these are simple julio jones like how is that when like the same difficulty as the previous challenge all we have to do is get a first i mean where where do i go here i guess the whole other side of the freaking field or something because my blockers weren't there for me and that's one way to complete the challenge oh here we go with another boss dude the ball carrier needs to pass through all three hot spots before the timer runs out without being tackled 15 seconds we had to do this are you serious i mean that's simple why didn't it count why aren't you counting what do you mean what do you mean i literally ran through the freaking hot spot bro i ran through it what do you want bro what dude i'm running through all of them like do they not light up or something okay that was just so weird literally have two freaking lives left dude two freaking lies gotta punt this one i might actually not make it to level 20 again at least that one was perfect see that's just so simple why can't they all be like that here we are another freaking defensive challenge i just don't get why you randomly sometimes get all the defensive ones and i don't think we're gonna stop them we did barely just barely not because of me because of the cpu i think i'm just gonna scramble here with ryan if derek would get out my gosh staying away dude he's gonna scramble easy money wait okay we got it we got one of these again dude i hate these so much can somebody like come back to the ball hold on it should be simple we got it w boys on the level 20. now we have to complete this for first down first sir first down simple here we go with this crap again dude um hey x let's go ladder challenge success on the rep will jump your score three levels failure on the rep will make you fall two levels oh my god dude who are these people perform a skill move inside the hot spot without getting tackled like can i do the doggy or something that's all i have to do are you serious up to level 25 now all we have to do is keep naje harris from scoring a touchdown and it should be simple rap tackle easy is not wait they just literally give me the same drill twice in a row i mean it's a dub if this is like as easy as it was last time gonna make sure he doesn't make a juke move at the last second yeah on level 27. i hate this so much these are seriously the most stressful stay catch good we might actually make it to level 30 here another ladder challenge success on the rep will jump your score three levels failure on the rep will make you fall only one level so what's the challenge big man rumble intercept the pass and run for a td what do you mean i have to do this wait am i a big boy am i a big man i have to pick this off hold the phone who what is this wait how how was i supposed to pick that off wait it's letting me do it again i didn't lose a life did i wait how am i supposed to pick this off he doesn't throw it to me like how am i ever supposed to pick this off dude what what well at least i completed it that time but so much is going on that has confused me okay success one level away and it's gonna be a boss and we have one life one man defense prevent the touchdown at all costs the pass is likely going to the end zone that's great to know bro we've seen this before i'm gonna get like what do you mean like how am i supposed to keep this for being a touchdown go let's go i did it all i did it we've officially made it to level 30 let's go all i have to do here is get a first down hopefully this isn't a failure okay wide open you see what i mean like what the freak third time's a charm third time's a charm well this is great this is how we started this time around we had to freaking kick the ball in a freaking hurricane how is this level one what what here we go with this first boss again but i think it's the same exact pattern we had last time so we run out here to the right cut up field shows a little bit slower this time but oh yeah we get it by a couple of seconds like what do you want brother okay that time around it was easier but i just still hate that i lost a life that's stupid i swear this only happens to me wait i'm the offensive lineman this time oh i do not like these at all he literally just ran out of bounds on his own nah i'm restarting this stupid crap i this time the route's a little bit different but i think we should have this one pretty easy as long as i don't run out of bounds here yeah four seconds three seconds two seconds plenty of time we've actually made it through five levels without losing a life i just know this is where i lose my first freaking life actually no those are also my least favorite because you can easily just have your offensive lineman have a stinker and fill it yep here it goes here it freaking goes right here dear kittery please make it through if he wasn't a beast he wouldn't have can we actually make it through level 10 without failing once and i have to do this one again i hate this boss so much it's so stressful at least we haven't lost a life yet bounce out the outside i'm doing so much wrong blog for me bro oh there's no way i score in this play right there's just no way [Music] that level rate makes me rage so bad that level makes me rage so freaking bad okay we've got to get this i've got to get myself an extra life and we have to do the hardest challenge yet get up get those another freaking boss battle i think i actually like this one better than the one with 100 blockers so i can kind of just like they're all kind of big and clunky i can kind of just go in circles and do that like that's so much easier 1v5 is so much easier than 10v10 i have too many bodies in my way [Music] like that was on me like that's what pisses me off about the gauntlet half the time you lose lives it's like what the cpu does not you like how's that on me at least we have the latter challenge so what do i even have to do here is the big guys again i have to do the same thing as last time i should be able to go in here and do the freaking doggy yeah right there i get three levels boosted i think i got to skip a boss too let's go those are some of the hardest challenges to in my opinion having to use a db another ladder challenge it's the same exact one oh my god we're getting free freaking levels boys give them free levels do the doggy let's go 24 ah here we go another boss battle media day why are there so many cameramen score touchdown during super bowl media day do not run into your on-field teammates or they will try to slow you down i don't have on the field teammates so like what are you trying to say i don't have teammates like you see how easy this is though dude you see it it's just so easy and then you have something so hard i'm trying so hard to concentrate because i've never beat the gauntlet ever and i want to do it for the first time in today's video [Music] oh that was so stressful but hey it worked so it's telling me here i can scramble on this play if i want to if i can score and i didn't score i just lost the line great [Music] come on oh it's beautiful almost level 30 this is another boss the one man defense though how am i supposed to do this prevent the running back from scoring i have me versus three defenders what do you mean where's the running back at like how am i no no no dude i just ran right past them like how is this fair how is this equivalent to like the last few i've done here we go gonna get to level 29 and because i can't make a tackle one 17 offensive linemen we're gonna we're gonna fail the challenge like screw you i think i can only go through this gauntlet one more time this is the most rage inducing thing i think i've ever done playing a madden game and that's saying a lot see what i mean dude like he got it but that was so hard here's another boss stay in the spots until the time runs out great and five seconds oh this should be simple right no way okay that might be the easiest boss for the video but yet there's another one where you have to try to tackle a player in their 74 blockers i love derek henry so freaking much [Music] i can't i can't i can't i can't maybe you should try another game in the ea sports catalog maybe your game shouldn't suck maybe you should be a billion dollar company and put out this crap worst freaking football game ever played you incompetent morons no touch pass detected i literally that was a touch pass that was literally a touch pass you stupid freaking game i'm [Music] what do you mean what do you mean i cannot tell you the last time i've raged this much in the video now this one is definitely different i think it might actually be easier potentially like yeah that one was so much freaking easier these are my least favorite i've decided they're my least favorite because i can't i can't help that i mean i can't help if i get blown up in the backfield please get through level 10 without losing a life this one avoid the hot spots and score a touchdown without getting tackled or going out of bounds this one i think is a little bit easier than the others hopefully at least i'm gonna run all the way backwards i'm running all the freaking way backwards like i need one block here one block is all i need there we are thank you and i have more freaking field to run back and forth this is so much freaking easier okay aggressive tackle watch them break watch a break to tackle and uh okay thank you thank you before the timer runs out i lost the life because there was a freaking timer like let me aim my kick like that's just like that's just me that's me that's the only way i'm gonna lose lives of course i'm gonna lose a life like that i can run through all these hopefully i actually ran through that when i should have enough time although i kind of wasted a little bit of time hello where's the circle there it is level 15 completed should still have six slides but uh sorry i didn't see the freaking timer so this one actually gives us an extra life which would be huge but it's the ball carrier thing again dude so do i oh it's a screen pass so we have it set up pretty perfect oh my god we almost i swear oh can we please complete this ladder challenge i have to intercept it and run for a touchdown dude like it's this is a glitch level are you seriously like he throws it there every time there's nobody for me to pick the ball off from great what is this why are we flying through the sky don't tell me this is how the video ends because i am sure enough not going to that freaking gauntlet again are you telling me the gauntlet is going to end when i have four lives left at level 18 because i'm having a fly to the sky in a drone instead of you let me go to level 19 i'm on a drone you put me on a freaking drone great product ea sports billion dollar company bro been 49 minutes of my own life trying to get through this gauntlet and i end off by flying on a freaking drone halfway through with four lives left to go and you won't let me continue great great great product yay sports i want my money back
