okay no no no no that's it a posh sausage roll the first thing actually looked really good in the recipe which was smoking the sausage so i think that sausage was probably like homemade because it was way too big i couldn't find it at the supermarket but i found these chicken sausages it looks really similar it's a little bit smaller and by a little i mean a lot so i smoked this sausage for around 30 minutes because they're a lot smaller and they don't look as good as the ones in the video i did this in my barbecue outside i guess that looks wrinklier and just grosser i think this part didn't quite offend gordon ramsay so this is promising so the first actual step that we need to do is to just cut some mushrooms that was a lot of mushrooms on the video but it was quite small or maybe cooked down a lot because gordon ramsay basically invented beef wellington i feel like he's more offended than any of us to me if sausage rolls look like that i would eat it more often because that looked like bougie delicious if gordon ramsay called me a donut i would make you my ringtone i've tried making gordon ramsay's beef wellington before and it didn't work let's just let's just keep it at that we don't need to uh go down the past we worry about the present and the future i'm gonna cook it on this little thing it's way too hot for this the part of the video that i find a little bit weird is that they don't actually use any oil the mushrooms just go like straight into it i've never cooked a vegetable without oil so we've got some fresh rosemary smells like christmas let me chop it really quickly that goes in wow i thought these were just decorations i guess not i'm going to wait for these to cook down a little bit you buy a little bit i mean a lot it's like when you cook spinach you go from this to like that so our mushrooms have cooked down a little bit and these seem a little tinier in the video i'm gonna try to make this tinier wow this is a lot more difficult now that they're cooked it's almost like rubber i'm making this even worse than he already was like if gordon ramsay watched this we'd have to call it ambulance it goes straight into cardiac arrest so we got the sausages we got the mushroom and this is basically all the cooking now we gotta assemble the whole thing together which is the really tricky part of beef wellington i know this because i've done it before and i failed and gordon ramsay dragged me on twitter the moment i'll never forget i should have checked if i'm going off of this i'm not making the biggest one because you guys have seen the size of my sausage so this is some parma ham and this comes from spain and it was also way too expensive you know when the price is marked in yellow that's really no so what they did was they laid it down like that i like barmahn i like mushrooms i wish there was more seasoning but i think we might use salt at some point so this is the parma ham situation let me bring it closer to you it's kind of looking like lady gaga's dress but i have faith the way they've done it was they almost done like a square in the center so i'm gonna try to shape into a rectangle which is kind of what they've done this is when the flashbacks of the last time i made this dish come to me and like i don't get off the electricity because my sausages are smaller what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna use two of them i feel like that'll be like the perfect length should we just i don't want it to look too different so i'm just gonna use a sausage and it is what it is the next step is actually pretty easy i mean i'm saying this i think they do it with the plastic wrap they just go like that no it's not supposed to stick something smells weird i'm just going to do this by hand because it just seems to be easier i feel like i didn't need all these sides i'm just going to tuck it in looks kind of similar no oh my god i really wanted to do this part okay wait wait for it a chef i mean apart from the fact that it's two different sausages that's it that's the step so the next step is to roll out some pastry which thankfully we're not making from scratch so i watched the video and for this next step we're going to need um like an egg wash the only thing that i'm so confused is why did i tighten this up if i'm gonna have to undo it already to like for the next step this doesn't make any sense so oh my god this is perfect wow the way this has just saved the whole video for me because i would have not been able to cut it like that okay so now oh no it's broken do you see it's broken on this side most people would just pretend that that didn't happen i make sure you get a front row seat to a mess so what they've done is an insane amount of egg like literally this whole thing was egg on the video it was like almost basically the whole inside okay i'm gonna do a second layer of egg wash and basically it went it went like that my beef wellington burrito when he mixes international cuisines oh they tucked it in like the sides instead of cutting it so that is also oh it's leaking egg so we're gonna fold as well that's our beef wellington that literally looks like my dog he sleeps like nine in that position so let me see if i can do this so for the next step we're going to cover the whole thing in egg so he gives it so at least he looks like a beef wellington like with the gold color i cannot believe we actually followed this recipe all the way here so this is one of those satisfying parts that i was kind of hoping for they do some slits i guess it's so that this doesn't explode let me make sure we go all the way a french baguette could never and stop everything because this is the only moment in the whole video that they used some seasoning i got goosebumps i'm joking but i think the reason why there's not a lot of salt in the middle is because uh the parma ham sometimes it's really salty that might be white so this is it we're gonna bake this and i'm about to show you guys the cursed version of gordon ramsay's beef wellington someone please play some french music because ladies and gentlemen madam is in monsieur this literally looks like a toasty baguette maybe a giant sausage roll actually it smells really really good it smells like chicken because of the sausage i mean it is solid if anything it might be too solid it looks exactly like a sausage roll like i'm literally just proving gordon ramsay's point it's no i feel like it could be worse it is really really hot why does that actually look appetizing like i actually want to eat it [Music] oh let me give it a try again wow oh my god i literally am speechless like honestly it tastes like rosemary a lot but like the mushrooms the sausage with the ham it's just like it's like the best flavor ever i've tried before linden before i like that better i think the main thing here was that gordon ramsay said this is just a posh sausage roll but to me this tastes more like a beef wellington than a sausage roll and it does hold shape pretty well like that's pretty good that's kind of what they promised in the video if anything the only criticism i would say is that maybe we used a little bit too much pastry like the folding on the sides this one is a little bit raw when it comes to the actual flavors of it i'm getting beef wellington wow what a great start to this video this is just the beginning like i said we've got really scary horrifying recipes at this point i don't even know if i should carry on with this i'm making a low carb sandwich with orange bell pepper and cream cheese ready everything bagel seasoning no come on and some turkey no and close it up that is not a sandwich or a spice no that is not a low-carb sandwich young lady that there is an idiot sandwich haley right there this one is short straight to the point but also if gordon ramsay ever called me an idiot sandwich i would delete my existence at the same time after the first one maybe i am the idiot sandwich oh this is so weird this is gonna be our bread by the way my bell pepper is not the freshest i'm pretty sure there's like things growing in it i love bread suddenly bread is no longer on my list of favorite foods for me putting a little bit of pepper in food is like way too strong it hits me like a truck now imagine biting into once again play the french music because this delicacy is about to start so i'm using cream cheese light you know a healthy recipe healthy options you saw the video this is a very healthy amount of cream cheese how is this healthy i don't know i think this is the best part to do the seasoning so it sticks so we're gonna do this is supposed to be the bagel seasoning so we're gonna do some sesame seeds so this is some poppy seeds as well and i think i feel like that's basically bagel seasoning maybe some salt and pepper so the pepper as well it doesn't look that bad i'm gonna just say that and keep it quiet imagine being this turkey that died for this sandwich i love when my sandwich has got a hole in it i'm pretty sure that my spinach has gone bad because so we're gonna use some of this salad mix wait let me put the salad on this side so at least there's a purpose to this hole also me when i make self-deprecating jokes on this side an insane amount of cream cheese ham on this side the salad and all together is an idiot sandwich if you ever wondered what gordon ramsay means by an idiot sandwich well there you go the official recipe [Music] i mean the reason why i'm like even remotely giving this a chance the cream cheese kind of balances the pepper it's not as intense like in your face as i expected is it enjoyable no this needs like seasoning or whatever i don't even know what it needs it's like a 3 out of 10 for me not as bad as i thought though i feel so healthy eating half a kilogram of cream cheese for me in the video it's when she adds the mustard that's it for me you know what this needs a squirt of mustard that's really gonna do it well it's like a really sad hot dog now one thing i will say is the whole thing is so crunchy that i couldn't hold a conversation and eat this at the same time all i can hear is the echoes of my own brain is this an idiot sandwich yes this is it's me i'm the idiot i don't want more today we're making alternatives no stop it no such thing late night munchies nightmare is that a doll in the sink oh my god oh come on seriously oh perfect only oh no more plastic cheese oh my god stop it ramen cheese on toast forget it i'd like to ram that somewhere in the toilet i don't want to disrespect the king but did we watch the same video because i want to ram that in my stomach i mean it's definitely not healthy right but like i mean finally something that i'm actually looking forward to trying first thing we're going to drain um the noodles the already cooked ramen noodles i'm gonna give it a shake so it loses all the water i'm going to move quick because i think in the video they did this over the stove but we're just going to do it in a bowl this is the closest thing to processed like american cheese that you can find in europe which is basically cheese for children i mean i'm pretty sure this is not real cheese so to that we're gonna add our hot noodles i'm gonna hope that that's going to cook the cheese and this might be the most important part this is chicken seasoning we're gonna add it right now i honestly think gordon ramsay's lying about this one like he's just trying to keep his brand whole because there is no way that this doesn't look delicious look at that cheese melting into the noodles it doesn't mix too well in a bowl but i feel like that might be my mistake i'm gonna let it sit for a little bit and see if this melts a little bit longer i'm gonna add some butter wow who am i kidding here that's more like it so we're going to do the bright side down i'm going to put the bread so i'm going to let it cook a little bit on this side i know mine is probably looking a little more pale because of my processed cheese but for this next part i actually found this chili like mexican cheese it smells so good i'm running out of utensils here like this was just supposed to be decoration but so i'm hoping that this oh that's perfect it's like a french toast and there is no way in the world you can convince me that if i serve this to gordon ramsay when he's hungry at like 3 a.m that he wouldn't eat it so this cheese is supposed it's not supposed to do this this is gonna be a mess i'm just gonna put a whole block of cheese in it i'm gonna enjoy it and this is like the gastronomic moment of the year the moment that everyone's been waiting for oh my god we did that i'm gonna try my best at closing the sandwich wow oh my god it's surprisingly not as soggy as i thought oh my god the cheese might not be perfectly melted yet but does it really matter i just want to cut into it let's see if we can slice it that will be interesting maybe i feel like we should start like that imagine we cut into it and it's cake oh my god i feel like we might be able to slice into it that processed cheese can hold anything together wow i should have tried fixing a toilet with this it holds together like perfectly i do not understand you could take this to school as your lunch or to work maybe if you work at a hospital so you don't have to go very far after you eat it oh my god wow i came into this expecting a lot from this and does it deliver like it's not too much noodles it's not too much cheese it's literally perfect one packet of noodles two slices of bread and in total four slices of cheese and it's perfect is it healthy no does it taste good yes it tastes incredibly good it's like a grilled cheese sandwich but better it's like ramen noodles but better gordon gordon gordon the first thing i did after i met you at one in the morning was i made mac and cheese i put it in bell peppers bell peppers flour colin colleen colin you're such a bell and i ate both of them yeah i'm fat so we're doing this yeah we're doing it is this just me or like why can we leave peppers alone once again we are committing a crime under the form of a bell pepper every time we see a pepper i always wondered what would you taste like if you were filled with mac and cheese wrapped in bacon deep fried so that's our little transportation device for our mac and cheese 2020 just keeps on surprising it's just like when you think that's it i've decided to eat mac and cheese out of a bell pepper in the defense of this one if i met gordon ramsay first of all i would stay at a distance what would i come up with after like let's be honest so here i've got some um mac and cheese that i literally just cooked according to the instructions you add milk this powder and butter and i think the butter might be optional it's white that's so weird isn't this supposed to be yellow so i'm doing a little bit of milk as well it's getting a little bit more yellow now but it's still a little bit runny but let's do a little bit of butter to see if this whole thing is going to at least taste decent so i think the next step is to literally just fill the bell peppers with mac and cheese this is one of those where like i honestly my brain is telling me that it's not going to be that incredible because what happens when you deep fry this it's going to absorb all the oil okay we might need some toothpicks to like keep this together because this is going to fall apart in like a second and we gotta keep the lids on my personal favorite part about this whole thing is touching raw bacon for me it's the cross contamination we're just gonna have to commit to it because that's what the video is okay so we're gonna wrap this in bacon now i'm gonna put these little sticks i understand um okay that that that will do the job this one is a little bit bigger i'm gonna do two maybe you'll hold better it's an experiment i don't even know where that went let's coat it in whatever this is supposed to be coated in first things up egg wash jesus i honestly feel like this recipe was made with the purpose of just ruining gordon rhymes this day and i think you know it's been accomplished we're gonna there's so many textures to this for me it's when the egg is getting inside with the mac and cheese how is this even gonna cook so now we're gonna put this in the flour it's the way the mac and cheese is actually staying inside and if you thought that was it nope think again because breadcrumbs is also a necessary step apparently you know this whole thing is actually holding shape surprisingly well wait it doesn't stick and it's egg again they failed to mention that part so now okay that did work might be easier to just this whole thing a nightmare i'm not joking i don't know if i will eat this because i don't believe that this will cook just by being deep fried if you follow this you will reach that and also you will reach deep fried fingers i will show you the result know that i'm going to be proud of it deep frying these peppers was the single most stressful intense experience i've ever had in a kitchen before i've never had to use so many paper towels to absorb the insane amount of oil and grease that this whole thing produced i'm gonna use the tiny one which is the yellow one just because i think it looks a little bit better let me try to remove the sticks i wonder if they will come out okay okay that's not too bad not the most appetizing just thing ever you might think that it's overcooked i deep fried it and it was greasy but the bacon looked raw so what i did was i put it in the oven for 20 extra minutes and that's why it looks a little bit burnt but so when we open this up it should be mac and cheese in my opinion it's going to be oil and mac and cheese okay so the hat okay it doesn't quite work so we're going to cut into it and maybe i stand corrected am i crazy for thinking that that actually doesn't look too bad like he doesn't look oily at all this video only proves that i am the idiot sandwich it looks great but keeping it real if you don't put it in the oven there's no way that bacon will be cooked it just looked so raw the whole thing doesn't even stick together like it's just like the universe is trying to save me from it's wet but it's not greasy like i was expecting but the bell pepper with the mac and cheese it doesn't really work because the pepper it's almost boiled so it became really really soft if it wasn't for the outer shell this whole thing would just be like mush i'm going to give it to gordon ramsay this doesn't make any sense i can't even pick it up because the whole thing is falling apart this is definitely not worth the effort for me this is like four out of ten i'm sorry it's like chocolate and nutella stop it already more like one breath and you're gone contrary to popular belief i'm not looking forward to this i don't know why people think that every time something is like an insane amount of chocolate that i'm gonna love it i love desserts i love sweet stuff but there's gotta be a balance like you can't just put nutella on chocolate on ice cream it's just too much you're ruining three things that i would have loved and enjoyed separately so i'm looking forward to slicing this with a knife that's fun like what am i gonna do with the rest after not my favorite chocolate but right now it doesn't even matter i would still eat it it's kind of warm here because of the weather in the film you like so these are a little bit soft but i feel like when we put the ice cream maybe this is gonna make it okay i'm thinking of cutting it into pieces and making a little like miniature like ice cream sandwiches oh no it's melting on i'm not gonna be able to lift it okay like they couldn't just do nutella in one side they have to do it on both and also what even was the size of nutella they had i've never seen anything like that have you guys ever seen the size of nutella on sale anywhere oh my god please work wing it actually works really well why is it not cutting now oh my god that is beautiful all those peanut butter cups this is a moment that even i who don't entirely agree with this idea that was beautiful so we're gonna put this one on this side that's probably not an idiot sandwich because not even an idiot would like do this so in the video they did to me this is every time i go on instagram and i get like my feed is just food and recipes obviously this is all i get and that's why i never want to go on instagram because like who eats this stuff it's too much i love all these ingredients but it's too much okay that was beautiful i do have to be honest let's give it a try i don't hate it wow it's chocolate it's sugar it's way more than any person could possibly crave in sweetness and i love desserts how much more could i eat of this maybe three more bites oh ooh brain freeze it's it's melting like it didn't even last like this is just a bad idea i guess i could eat it in a bowl but that's about it unless you run one of those food instagram accounts what is the point of this this is literally offensive to me what am i supposed to do with this as well literally a mess okay i guess i can put that in the freezer like that that's the only way to save this but we still wasted all of that you might have seen it coming i think i personally saw it coming but for me this is a 0 out of 10. i hate this idea i have an urge to brush my teeth like my teeth are
