I FINALLY Broke Donnie the Drift Car... The Damage Could NOT Be Worse lol! (REPOST... Whoops)

so guys i just posted a video with an ad in the beginning of it and it was very clear right off the bat by reading the comments which i always do you guys let me know that i kind of screwed up i had a major oversight the ad that i did supported things that i wouldn't necessarily support had i done a little bit of research probably like this much research and uh i just read a bunch of stuff and i definitely stepped into a zone that i didn't want to be in so it was a bunch of money for an ad like that but i just took it down man it's not worth it i'm sorry guys should've just taken some time and looked at what i was actually doing screwed up this is a super fun video though so i took it down it was at a hundred thousand views whatever screw it reposting hope you guys enjoy it hell yeah clean drift car so i got the optispark cleaner 9000 i want to make sure don is nice and clean for today's festivities man this works well putting my tires off my wheel well off real nice yeah i just detailed it i can see yours is also extremely clean i just you know you got to take pride in what you do you really do if you're interested i can turn on the off spark cleaner 9000 over there and let you rip on this one we'll do it after there's no point in cleaning it this thing could possibly wash away though all right let's freaking do this so guys ls fest is going to be my first official public drifting event which i'm super excited for but uh gonna really try and get in some good practice today uh with tandems because i feel like a lot of times when i'm drifting i'm catching up and then by the end of the corner i'm finally caught back up with the guy in front of me but i don't want to just embarrass myself at ls fest so taylor's out here today hopefully going to train me a little bit and you're going to do the competition yeah dude oh man we got some serious training today yeah man i'm freaking out here so well i mean i watched in the footage from my last video they're already pretty much there so we just need to get you some practice it's really awesome i think so i gotta like close the gap yeah and just get used to starting close backing up for transitioning at the good times and staying on like the right spot and knowing what to do if you get out of the right spot it'll help a lot doing this today the thing is taylor's so smooth and you know he's gonna be trying to help me but i'm sure by the time i'm drifting behind like actual competitors it's gonna be a lot different but just some more seat time today should really be fun yeah and if they're doing what they're supposed to do it should be easy to follow that's the worst though it's really hard when you're competing at somebody who's really hard to follow yeah because you're struggling to follow them and if you give them a smooth lead line then they get an easy way but the judges are supposed to look at that so all right let's have some fun man let's do it oh yeah okay folks we have some redneck ingenuity to plow the water off the burnout pad that's one way to do it that's one way to do it that's pretty neat i don't think he's ever slide something with six wheels it's funny because fighting and their fire is flying i don't know what they're looking at oh very close inches all right i'm warmed up for today all right a tire gains its own ballast by filling even in the center and then it's got to drain out the side this is just normal tire there's nothing in the bottom oh i missed you miata that thing is a [Applause] screamer um uh oh i thought we were gonna crash oh my gosh i was like i was going for the doors when we started accelerating yeah i heard it i was like i just destroyed this wheel oh my gosh well dang it it's so funny because i have another set of different wheels with front tires on them that are sticky and i almost d mounted them to put drift tires on them good thing you didn't like i but i want to make sure i spare fronts hell yeah all right all right guys taylor's swapping wheels going to a lighter setting spicy i'll show you my idea all right guys so this next one's pretty tricky but i think this will be a blast all right so you got to come through here initiate right here gotta come through the inside bank i really screwed up that grass around this it's gonna be a uh hairpin here and then it's quick switch up here [Music] mongi back down come back up and then whip down into here quick left and then back to the inside bank oh that's gonna be so tough what do you think you want to lead first whichever i can lead to whatever you want you'll leave um there's so many times when i thought i was gonna crash into you i'm gonna try it in first gear i think 10 seconds too much for me so and i might be going really slow but let's do something something broke i got nothing oh snap axel or div put your guess is down now folks son of a biscuit [Music] c5 differential curse is back what year is this car originally oh it had to be at the 01 or something right it's a 2001 or something red deck yeah i know though the puddle is kind of far forward we'll drag it out and jack it up and find out what we did oh we got this i thought you hit me because yeah like i almost said i was still like on the left foot break and your car is going straight i'm like why isn't he starting drifting yet like what's going on that was fun dude there's so many transitions so like that was such a good layout choice i said it in my car uh having a friend that owns a racetrack coolest thing ever oh yeah dude the uh good news is i have a transmission in diff for a c5 so we should be good for lsps because we're not taking leroy in race week so i don't really need to spare shoved in donnie then i'll have a face plated oh you're going to do that one obviously i got snapped the whole diff off of the transmission all the racks at the shop are full and it's probably not worth wasting james time with c5 diff project we're taking donny apart we're about to pick him up for the first time without his sub frame take the gander at uh the damage underneath just pull the axles out you know what i think i can leave the axle in because it appears the diff is going to come with the subframe which is not supposed to happen now here we go [Music] sub frame removed so as you guys have always seen in leroy and ruby's dips there's always a brace that goes from the transmission to the diff because a popular issue is the tail housing on the transmission snaps and the diff of the transmission become two instead of one that is exactly what has happened here there's no brakes on this even though it has a c5z diff it's got a built like mildly built transmission and uh it appears it broke so we'll just flip up the old c5 dip here which the diff is probably okay because the uh just the the output shaft on the transmission appears to have broken along with the oh man unfortunately the diff is broken too see the casing right here so we're out of transmission and a diff because of this i thought we were gonna get lucky but we actually look here's the casing for the diff and then here's the casing for the transmission down here but we can at least get the output shaft to drop out so this is what snapped and or the tail housing snapped and then this snapped but uh i think definitely took some abuse so i don't know what this means we've got ls fest in one week so we're gonna call rpm transmissions and beg for help and hopefully we can get donnie back on the road for uh ls fest but this is no good we're out of transit if we have leroy spare but for those of you who are ogs know that leroy has a c6 cradle in it it's got different outer hubs it's got different axles there's a whole assortment of things that have to happen in order to put that freaking gnarly transmission in here which we could do but uh it might require some dissecting leroy which i hate to do but if we get all the parts man we might as well do it so
