I Drove The Banana Too Fast In The Snow!

so we just got a call for uh ford ranger that's stuck in the snow up on canara mountain and we're gonna head up there and see if we can get him out yep we sure are i think we've pulled this guy out before yes [Music] the weather is approximately 65 or 70 degrees outside and there might be some snow on the ground for where we're going i won't know the temperature up there though it's quite a bit higher than we are now that's a terrible weather report it was a terrible weather report i think they like it better what they said it's it's uh it's zip up hoodie weather yeah so we gave trevor a call he lives up the road here a bit so he's gonna meet us there at the rendezvous point he's gonna load in we're gonna drive up straight up the side of the mountain we got colin with us today to help out in case we have to send somebody back to civilization to rescue us so the freeway is not exactly this jeep strong suit but wasn't quite far enough to put it on a trailer so we're kind of in that no man's land we're driving down the road i'd say we're probably doing almost 60 miles an hour but this is our cruise speed so we don't die speed limit is 80 miles an hour which means there's lots of vehicles traveling 85 90 miles an hour we're not gonna pass anybody on this trip but we're gonna get past a lot we're getting past my semis yeah so this is the super bowl party yeah i forgot to mention this is the super bowl party nice morning sunshine good morning so we got sunshine uh twinkle sparkle and shimmer am i shimmer yeah it's time to put it in four-wheel drive oh that's you huh [Music] okay so we just tried to drive up that hill right up there covered in snow and we didn't make it so we're gonna hit it with a little more speed i'm pretty sure the customer drove up here like earlier in the day oh there he is right there anyways that was nice that's driving we did it we did it without breaking a wheel off some jeep cherokee's wheels break off yeah i heard that [Music] you were running so i was gonna winch myself at with my high lift yeah casting broke oh my goodness i've never seen it happen i just had it up on tension that just got your belly full of sand and decided to do snow this time yeah well that's i'd wondered i was like people get stuck up here all the time it's like couldn't be that bad right [Music] it's time to get behind here good [Music] [Music] [Music] your ride's digging in pretty good i don't know gotta probably bump it a little more all right i would i definitely would [Music] ugh okay rudy pull forward just a little bit slightly to the right what happened rudy i don't want to hear it i can't even hear this thing idling [Music] okay i'll just cut that sign pretty [Music] close just another day in paradise okay i'm gonna try to turn around right there okay so don't let him get stuck i might eat him oh ah how do you like those door candles [Music] i don't know about this shot so that's the kind of subpar cinematography you get when trevor's directing the picture that's uh oscar worthy he's awesome nominate trevor you should have said that louder so there's this thing that hollywood has made up it's like an awards ceremony that no one cares about but them i mean they've got fans that care about it right yeah but it doesn't really i don't know that's where the oscars is nominate trevor for the oscar award yeah hashtag trevor for oscar i'll vote for you so yeah it was a repeat customer we got up there got him out he drove to the very last snow drift he drove to the deep snow yep he hit it he hit it deep enough to stop him and we went up there and got him out so trevor people are asking how much trouble you got in for spending all that money in vegas so much trouble no idea can't believe i even have a job anymore so we got a call for a ram 2500 cargo van that's stuck in the snow up at the zion ponderosa and we're just heading up to see if we can get it out yeah it's a little overcast today a little wind you need a coat and matt off-road hoodie and we'll get them out we got rudy back there yep we got randy today so we opted to come up here in one jeep and we didn't bring any tire chains even though rudy mentioned that we probably should i guess we're going to see how it goes what do you think ed i think we'll get him out the snow's not too deep no wind blowing and i hope he's got m m's in his truck that's a little hangry right now [Music] boy i'm not seeing him i might have to give him a call and see where he's at because his bandit his pin was in like arizona all right caulfield let's come back up and make a call i don't know where he's at i think we can do this in two-wheel drive yeah i love these tires who would have thought the sts would be such a great snow tire you might be down there by the restaurant a van down by the river hello this is matt with winter towing so i'm here at the ponderosa so where uh where are you let me keep going past the signs oh are you are you still on the north fork road then yeah okay all right we'll see you in a minute all right oh yeah wow yeah this the other side says candy there you are how you guys doing how are you doing good i'm randy jacob oh there's a dog i don't think it's going to hurt if this pivot's here i could pull from like a midpoint i think it's pull from the front right okay can you get these wheels turned this way a little okay that's a two-wheel drive they're already locked dead my first day on the job peace so it's not enough just to have the four-wheel drive you actually have to use the four-wheel drive what did we all learn today listen so you're the one that made the call yeah all right all righty well here you go so thanks man yeah you're a little ways out here but we got here as quick as we could got such a long drive i forgot how to use my own jeep there was someone in there too and they scared the crap out of me because they were under a blanket and then they're like and i'm like what the crap was that well it was pretty easy he was about eight inches of snow his sideways in a van on the road blocking the road he's in a ditch and uh map put him around and pulled him right out thanks
