[Music] how many ready for the word this morning [Applause] well there's a brief uh portion of scripture i want to read from the book of exodus chapter number 13. we're going to begin reading at verse 17. i'm going to be reading from the new international version this morning exodus chapter 13 and uh we're going to read just a couple of verses beginning at verse number 17. and this is what the scripture says it says when pharaoh let the people go god did not lead them on the road through philistine country though that was shorter for god said if they face war they might change their minds returned to egypt so god let the people around by the desert toward the red sea [Music] and the israelites went up out of egypt ready for battle i i want to tag a title of this text and i want to talk for a few moments hopefully with your prayers and god's power from this subject i believe many of you are going to feel hopefully the sentiment of this sermon here it is i didn't know we were going this way [Applause] let me try it over here on this side anybody ever been there i i didn't know we were going this way can we pray together father your word cannot be taught or understood without the assistance of your holy spirit he is the teacher and i pray today that you would speak with such specificity that your people feel seen known that they feel like their homes and their cars are bugged that they feel like somebody's telling their business that that they that they that you find and locate them with your word so that they turn the page to the next chapter of your story for them i thank you for the empowering presence of the holy spirit the anointing that empowers me to teach and i thank you for an anointing on your people to receive in jesus name amen clap your hands all over the house i didn't know we were going this way i want to begin our time together by informing some and reminding others that the actions of our god are intentional by that i'm simply suggesting that his actions are never an end unto themselves they are always a means to an end whenever he is doing something we know about he is simultaneously doing something we don't know about whenever he's doing something he is he has let us in on he is simultaneously doing something else he has not let us in on whenever he is doing something he told us about he is simultaneously doing something else he has not told us about god is intentional so because he's intentional when he's doing something he's doing something and because he's intentional when he's doing nothing he's doing something because if he because if he's intentional he's doing nothing intentionally so i should praise him when he's doing something because he's doing something but i should also praise him when he's doing nothing cause he's doing something and i know we are accustomed to pausing for the cause and praising him for doing something but i want to know is anybody in the potter's house anybody watching that will say even in this introduction i'm getting ready to praise him for nothing what you're shouting for nothing what are you clapping for nothing what are you leaping for nothing because if he's doing nothing he's getting ready to do something [Applause] god is intentional and this truth is comforting and confusing at the same time it's comforting because i can rest in the revelation that he doing something but it's confusing because i don't always know what he doing and this is because of something i affectionately entitled the principle of perspective here it is family the principle of perspective where you sit determines what you see and what you see determines what you do where you sit determines what you see and what you see determines what you do where you sit determines what you see and what you see determines what you do so this means i don't always understand what god's doing because i'm not seeing what god's seeing and i'm not seeing what god is seeing because i'm not sitting where god is sitting see i see to the corner god sees around the corner i see to the hill god sees over the hill i see today god sees tomorrow and sometimes i'm confused about what god is doing in my today not realizing god's doing something in my today because he knows what's getting ready to happen in my tomorrow am i making sense so god may say no i'm not going to let you get that job today because of what i see tomorrow i'm not going to let you get that contract today because of what i see tomorrow i'm not going to let you say i do today because of what i see in tomorrow are you following me family yeah because we may we may be looking at something that from our perspective looks like an opportunity and from god's perspective it looks like a trap because some some doors are trap doors some opportunities show up looking like problems and some problems show up looking like opportunities this is why i'm glad that the bible says he opens doors no man can shut but he closes doors no man can open is there anybody here that will pause for a minute and say i'm not just going to thank him for the open doors i'm going to thank him for the closed doors because you saw some things i didn't see because we can look at the same thing and not see the same thing [Applause] is that not what happened in john 11 when jesus got a word that one of his friends his acquaintances named lazarus was sick the bible says they sent word to jesus saying you need to get here quickly because from their perspective it's an emergency from their perspective it's time sensitive but the bible says jesus stayed where he was two more days and he didn't even get to where lazarus was until lazarus was in the grave for days because the thing you call an emergency in the thing that's always an emergency to god sometimes we're like god why aren't you coming he's saying i ain't rushing because you call it dead but i say he just sleeping did you hear what i just said [Applause] where you sit in terms of what you see what you see in terms of what you do so what looks like one thing might actually be another what looks like rejection might be direction [Applause] am i making sense and family what i'm attempting to articulate is clearly seen in a foundational text in the book of exodus exodus is one of my favorite books of the bible family that it's interesting here because the word exodus simply means exit i'ma say that again the word exodus simply means exit so the content contained in the book of exodus exposes us how god orchestrated and arranged for his people to exit out of over 400 years of egyptian captivity see the title of the book alone is a blessing to me because if god is the god of exits then that means i'm never trapped let me go to this side i said if god is the god of exits then that means i'm never trapped i may feel trapped it may look trapped people may say i'm trapped but if god's got a part of red sea he'll get me through if he's got to knock down a jericho wall he'll get me through is there anybody here that's ever felt like your back was up against the wall and you were out of options and when you were out of options the devil wanted you to slide into desperation but you too blessed to be desperate desperation is for people that don't have options [Applause] desperation is an indication that a person doesn't have a revelation that god will always give you an option [Applause] [Music] don't miss this family they were under this oppressive regime for over 400 years and what's interesting about this entire narrative is that god lets them stay there until they ask him to come out [Music] did you hear what i just said 400 years they were tormented oppressed suppressed some of them depressed and for 400 years god let them stay there until they ask to come out because god will let you live on whatever level you settle for [Applause] because the god you see is the god you get we can serve the same god and have two different experiences yeah yeah we see that in matthew chapter 13 where the bible says jesus goes back to his hometown and he could not perform many miracles there because their faith became infected with familiarity they said it missed the carpenter's son see some people can't benefit from who you are now because they still stuck on who you used to be did you hear what i just said some people could benefit from who you are right now if they would get over who you used to be the text says he he did not perform many miracles there just laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them a few got what was available for many same god different experiences [Applause] because some people there saw the carpenter's son other people there saw god son some people saw a carpenter other people saw christ if you see a carpenter you get your house fixed if you see a christ you get your life fixed because the god you see is the god you get that's why when people say things like this religion thing don't work for me i say it's working for me this church thing don't work for me it's working for me cause i'm settling i'm not settling for a god that can just save me my bible says he'll do exceedingly and abundantly above all i ask to think he says i'm the head not to tell above only not beneath the lender not the borrower so if you want to settle for being in the words of bishop broke busted and disgusted you stay right there but as for me and my house i want everything god's got for me lord i'm running trying to make a hundred ninety nine and a half just won't do somebody help me praise them in the house [Applause] i want it all i want it all i want it all i want it all i cry too much not to have it all you think i'm gonna waste all this pain i hate pain so i gotta get something out of this and my bible told me if i sow in tears i'll reap enjoy my bible told me he'll give me the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness it told me he'll turn my mourning into dancing and i want it all i'm in text i'm in a narrative it's exodus three they cry out to god for deliverance and way over way of another part of the land they talking to god about deliverance and god starts talking to moses about being a deliverer so they talking to god and then god start talking to moses they talk to god then god starts talking to moses they start talking to god god starts talking to moses they start talking to god god starts talking to moses they start talking to god about deliverance god starts talking to moses about being a deliverer now this bothered me a little bit it bothers me because when i talk to god about my problem i want dog to talk back to me and i'm not saying he doesn't do that but that that's not what happened in this in this part of the narrative they started talking to god about the problem god doesn't talk back to them about the problem god starts talking to they answer look at me just because god isn't talking to you about the problem doesn't mean god in working on an answer israel is in egypt stressed they feel unheard they feel abandoned they feel neglected and they have no idea that any day now the thing that they've been praying for is getting ready to show up unannounced i'm getting ready to speak that over somebody's life i pray that what you've been praying for shows up in your life unannounced that the phone call comes unannounced that the text comes through unannounced [Applause] they had no warning they sensed no they sensed no shift in the tide they sensed no momentum just all of a sudden moses showed up and he would have showed up sooner he would have showed up sooner if god didn't have to spend some time talking him into adequacy talking him into adequacy concerning his assignment see because this is what happens when god invites moses it's really what we'll call a calling right it's a calling which is god's invitation for your participation in the reason for your creation and it can be accepted or rejected it is when god says now i know what i made you for and after you get through trying to do things your way what i want to do is i want to reveal that to you and i want to give you an opportunity to align your life with my intent [Applause] so moses out there running he's tending sheep and god says okay now moses are you ready to do what you're born for now you had enough fun yet you ready to do what you're born for now so watch this god extends to moses an invitation moses responds with this exodus chapter 3 verse 11 but moses said to god who am i who am i that i should go to pharaoh and bring the israelites out of each other please don't miss this y'all he didn't say it couldn't be done he didn't just he didn't believe he could do it now y'all hear what i'm saying there's a deliverer in moses and moses don't even know it what if i told you there's a you god's trying to introduce you to that you hadn't met yet come on and sometimes it takes the demand of an assignment it takes increased responsibility it takes you having to do something that's bigger than you that that creates a context what god can say now let me introduce you to a you you didn't even know was in you and when i tell you to do something don't talk to me about your adequacy because i assess your adequacy before i called you if i called you you're qualified if i assigned it you're adequate you don't know you like i know you [Applause] and this is why there's such an assault on self-esteem the enemy doesn't want you to know who you are because you will always behave in a way that's consistent with the way you see yourself as a man thinketh in his heart so is he but i came to tell somebody today that's been wrestling with struggling with giving god a yes if god assigns you to it he's already assessed your adequacy and he's already determined that you've got the capability and the ability to pull it off so if you say come jesus i'm on the way [Applause] he got a whole generation that need what god put in him and they waiting on him to get over him whole nation is dependent on his yes god finally you know his god can be very let me see if i got any witnesses here god can be very persuasive i'm going to say that one more time i'm just trying to find the honest christ i say god can be very persuasive he's got a way of talking you into some things doesn't it as jonah it need persuasive so he starts burning up bushes and and so moses finally agrees to carry out the assignment are y'all still here moses agrees to carry out the assignment don't miss this y'all he says okay god i'ma go i'ma do it but when i go to these people and say the god of their fathers sent me god you need to know they're in a polytheistic cultural context so they're in egypt so they're used to hearing about moon gods and sun gods and all of these kinds of gods so when i go to them if i say god that's not going to be enough they're going to ask me for a name [Applause] so when i go to them [Applause] who shall i say sent me god said moses you ready he said i'm ready he said you're ready he said i'm ready you got a pen i got a pen you ready okay write it down what is it what is it god i am he said what i am i am what i am that i am that's it that's all you need i am that i am what does he give him he gives him his covenant name we call it jehovah right jehovah and it is this is oversimplification but it is almost the equivalent of a prefix he's saying you just need to know i'm jehovah and i covenant to be whatever you need me to be you just need to know i'm the god of covenant and i'm not going to give you the back part yet because you're going to need me to be so much you're going to need me to be different things for you in different seasons so right now you just need to know i'm jehovah and when you need provision i'll be gyra when you need peace i'll be shalom when you're lonely i'll be shama i'll be whatever you need me to be is there anybody here that can say he's a fill in the blank god lawyer in a courtroom doctor in a sick room bridge over troubled water [Music] i am [Applause] [Music] see moses takes this information you can be seated i'm almost there moses takes he he takes this information says all right i'm not going to bother this moses's hesitancy to accept the assignment was based on the fact that moses was thinking about who he was but the only way he was able to shift into the assignment is when he stopped thinking about let me use bad english it's bad grammar good theology who he am [Applause] and start depending on the i am so he accepts the assignment and this is what god says oh i love this this is in exodus chapter 3. god says to moses he says listen i will make the egyptians favorably disposed toward this people so that when you leave you will not go out empty-handed see come on come on come on now faith takes personal possession of god's promises it takes a word and they said that's mine so i'm gonna read that one more time because i want to see who faith grab it and i will make the egyptians favorably disposed toward this people so that when you leave you will not go out empty-handed he says i'm gonna make sure because i'm a god of recompense i'm gonna make sure there's compensation for your agitation [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] i'm keeping record [Applause] he says i'm gonna make them favorably disposed favor wait a minute i'm gonna make them favorably dispel the people that's oppressing you i'm going to give them divine temporary insanity and the people that don't like you jealous of you competing with you are going to have divine temporary insanity and they're going to have to bless you the one that was trying to keep you down is going to open the door to get you up is anybody here believing for god to do a divine reversal you gonna walk in you say well all of a sudden they nice to me [Applause] whoa they spoke to me all year why all of a sudden are they speaking to me god said i don't have to change the opinion of you long term i just need to shift their mind short term so that you can get what you need from them in the short term and you can walk in and in the long term i gotta wrap up y'all tired of y'all all right [Applause] so god tells moses this in chapter three but we don't see the fulfillment of this until chapter 12. chapter 12 says the lord had made the egyptians favorably disposed toward the people and they gave i'm not going to bother this they gave them what they asked for [Applause] so they plundered [Applause] see this is why we got to follow prompts divine promptings divine impulses right intuitive leadings of god through the holy spirit when he say ask again you never know i've asked already ask again i've applied already apply again i bid it out already bit it again he says because when you do it this time i'm going to make them favorably dispose and they said yes they said no 10 times but all you need is a yes one time [Applause] so they'll make them favorably disposed so he said it in chapter three but it didn't happen until chapter 12. look at me please the season of announcement is not always the season of fulfillment god might say it in chapter 3 but you might not see it to chapter 12 and some people believe some people lose belief because they think that god says it and we see it in the same season i want to tell you he's not a man that he should lie if he said it in chapter 3 it's going to come to pass you might just be in chapter four you might just be in chapter nine you might just be i feel this one in chapter 11. somebody give them a chapter 11 praise i'm right on the edge i'm right on the cusp i'm right on the border [Applause] so god through a series of supernatural events convinces pharaoh to release them that's chapter 12. now let's make this hermeneutical loop back to our foundational text so israel's excited they happy they lit they turned but the texts say this when pharaoh let the people go god did not lead them we read it he didn't lead them on the road through the philistine country though that was shorter for god said if they face war they might change their minds and return to egypt so god led the people around by the desert road toward the red sea so the only reason they end up by the red sea is because they were following god [Applause] can we can we be honest and authentic for a minute what do you do when you feel like your yes created a problem so they're facing the red sea remember then pharaoh changes his mind and comes back after them right so they're facing the red sea that's a problem but they run into the problem even though they obeyed god [Applause] are you hearing what i'm saying all of the the talk and the teaching concerning the red sea must be couched within the context of this fact the only reason they ran into the red sea is because that's the way god took them so now they're like man this is a problem and what do they do the problem watch this they have a problem and they present and the problem in a present causes them to forget how great the problems were and they passed so they started saying you brought us out here to die you were just crying and begging and pleading and saying lord if you get me out of this so they look up to moses they say moses what are we going to do i love moses his response he says stand still did you hear what i just said he says stand still and see the salvation of the lord in other words he says he says watch this there are going to be times in the future where god fought through israel but right here god says no i'm going to fight for israel and this is tough because sometimes look at me sometimes it takes just as much faith to stand still on i said it takes just as much to stand still as it does to move when you want to move and you want to fix it and you want to alter it and you want to handle it and you want to call them and you want to tell them and god says no stand still and watch me work [Applause] stand still and see the salvation of the lord so god shows moses how to use something he already possesses to address a problem he's currently facing he said you about to get through this new problem with some old equipment i'm gonna show you moses i don't have to give you nothing new to do something new in your life i'm gonna take that same staff in the same hands that you had this whole time and i'm getting ready to show you that what you got in your hand can do some things you didn't even know it could do [Laughter] now listen i've been in church my entire life entire life i'm talking about back in church where we had sunday school i've been in church that long sunday school and we used to study stories like this in sunday school and the teachers didn't teach this but i made assumptions about this i thought i knew this story i thought i knew the story moses raised his hand stretch out the staff and the water's part but that's not the text no no that's not the text bible says verse 19 then the angel of god who had been traveling in front of israel's army withdrew and went behind them come on here and the pillar of cloud also moved from in front of them and stood behind them and throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to one side and light to the other side so that neither went near each other all night long did you hear so all night the enemy was in close proximity to israel but god knows how not just how to get in front of you but he knows how to switch positions and get behind you and put a hedge between you and the thing that's trying to get to you isn't this what happened in the book of job when the bible says satan goes to god looking for somebody's life to disrupt and god said have you considered my servant job [Applause] and said he said yeah i considered him but you got a hedge around him his household and everything he possess [Music] now now watch this satan said god had a hedge god didn't say he had a hedge so here's my question how to say no that there was a hedge there unless he had been trying to get to job and couldn't get to him see we complain about how many times it does get through when you have no idea how many times god put the hedge around you around your children around your company somebody give them a hedge praise for about 30 seconds give him a hedge praise the devil tried it but there's a hedge hanging for the hedge thank him for the hedge thank him for the hedge heads when they go to school heads when they go to college heads on the 6 35 hedge in my going here's when they hire me heads when they fire me here's when they say yes here's when they say no there's a hedge [Applause] [Applause] y'all say you had no idea what tried to get to you this week [Applause] what did satan say he said the hedge around job his household and everything he has so the hedge is there all night and the text says moses stretched out his hand yeah over the sea and all that night the lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind now see i thought this was an immediate miracle i thought as soon as moses did the raising and the stretching that the waters parted but that's not the text the text says all that night [Music] so this wasn't an immediate miracle it was an incremental miracle how did he do it he didn't just part the waters that's not the text he sent the wind and the wind moved the water some people are discouraged because the water's not party i want to tell you the wind is blowing they hadn't come back to their senses yet but the wind is blowing the door isn't all the way open but the wind is blowing the healing hasn't completely manifest but the wind [Applause] the wind is blowing the wind is blowing the wind is blowing the wind is blowing the wind is blowing the wind is blowing and the wind blowing not only drove the sea back the wind turned the sea in the dry land is that the book now now i don't know a lot about land sea i do know that land not supposed to be dry i know it's supposed to be wet i know there's supposed to be mud and so the the land being dry didn't make sense to me until the apostle paul when he speaks to the believers in corinth says that israel going through the red sea is a metaphor for them going through baptism [Applause] so now the dry land makes sense to me because mud tracks [Applause] and tracks are evidence of where i come from when i have mud tracks you know i've been in some dirt [Applause] but when the sea got turned into dry land and they came out on the other side there were no tracks that were evidence of where they came from i want to tell you that's what the blood does people can't look at you and tell where you come from [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so israel walks through on dry ground and i've been studying this for years and it hit me i had this epiphany in the epiphany created a question for myself as they walking through i'm wondering what are they thinking they're probably thinking moses you came throwing rods eating snakes telling us we going to a land flowing with milk and honey but i know we were going this way oh i need somebody to help me praise them here lord you said you were taking me to the next level but i didn't know we were going this way lord you said you were going to make me the lender not the borrower but i didn't know we were going this way you told me i was going to be the head and not the tail but i didn't know i didn't know i didn't know we was going this way and the way doesn't make sense look at me the weight doesn't make sense until you get on the other side of it did you hear what i said here's what the theologian and uh um philosopher sword kierkegaard says he says life is lived forward but it's only understood backwards see the way didn't make sense till israel got on the other side because they got on the other side and pharaoh sees what happens with them and pharaoh says well if they can do it i can do it too so their horses and their chariots try to go through the red sea and you know the story the water collapses and they drown because you drown when you try to follow a word god didn't give you he said no i told them to quit their job i didn't tell you to quit yours [Applause] can i wrap this up now [Applause] this didn't make sense to me till i saw when they got drowned i said ah that's why you took them that way you took them that way because pharaoh was not going to leave them alone he was going to be a thorn in their side for the rest of their life so he took them that way watch this and they felt like that way was going to end them but what they didn't realize is that god took them that way because god wanted to end the thing [Music] that was trying to end them did you hear what i said this red sea is not going to drown you this red sea is going to drown your pharaoh [Applause] [Music] [Applause] pharaoh what you've been subject to pharaoh what you've been tormented by pharaoh what you've been impres oppressed by pharaoh what you've been ensnared to pharaoh what you've been entangled by he says you think the sea's gonna end you but the seed made you forget about fat raw this temporary problem has caused you to lose sight of this long-term problem that's been tormenting you and your family pharaoh's that's a generational cycle [Applause] right we're talking hundreds of years come on it's just generational cycle and god says at some point i'mma end this [Applause] he say i'm taking you this way not to end you [Music] i'm taking you this way to end the thing that's been tormenting you for way too long [Applause] it says i'm trying to drown your pharaoh now let me ask you a question what would have happened if israel had stopped walking what would happen if they had become so perplexed by the path that they parted from it and they missed the place what all would they have missed if they had changed their route because they don't understand the way and the holy spirit spoke to me prompted my heart with this thought there too many people missed the place because of the path they don't think i know how to get them there [Applause] they forgot i know the best route don't confuse the path with the place this isn't a place this isn't your final destination it's not going to stay like this it's not going to always be like this this isn't the place this the path you don't go to the valley of the shadow of death did you hear me you don't go to the valley of the shadow of death you go through [Applause] this is not the place it's just the path don't stop walking and as i thought through this the holy spirit showed me two things that we gotta deal with him you're gonna keep walking two things he spoke to me he said there is weariness and woundedness is what causes people to stop walking now listen to me god only consumes the sacrifice you put on the altar he can't help us with what we're hiding and i want you to know this is safe space you don't have to hide weariness because there are some people in this room some people watching online you're saying i'm tired and when i say fatigue i'm not talking about feet fatigue i'm not talking about physical exhaustion i'm talking about something i think we need to explore and unpack a little bit more in christian circles i'm not talking about physical fatigue i'm not just talking about emotional fatigue i'm talking about spiritual fatigue virtue diminishing faith fatigue see there's some people in this room some people watching me and your faith is tired you say i've been believing and i'm trying to keep believing but if i'm honest pasadena my faith died i'm trying to think positive and pull down these negative thoughts and bring every thought in to obedience and make it captive to christ i i'm trying i'm tired i'm wild everybody pulling from me i have nobody to pull on maybe i could be strong for me if i have to be strong for everybody else [Applause] my faith tired i'm weary and i don't want to quit but i don't want to keep being disappointed we're going to help you with that in just a second jesus said come unto me who are weary he said come to me if you if you wear it come to me he said when you get whoever said you come to me and say i'ma give you rest and i love what he says he didn't just say rest in terms of sleep he said you will find rest for your soul lord spoke to me say weariness are y'all ready for this one i'm done but he said there's also woundedness watch what the lord show me say darius we celebrate israel's exit out of egypt in exodus but we don't see the full impact of their bondage until numbers so they survived and miriam and our people they praised and they celebrated they thank god for survival and praise god for survival that's in exodus but we don't see the ramifications of that season immediately we only see it in numbers 13 when they got an opportunity to actually go into the promised land but their self-esteem has been so demoralized their fight has been so diminished that they start calling the adversaries giant and they call themselves grasshoppers who told you well you are a grasshopper you felt that way in egypt so you got out of that season but that season didn't get out of you that hurt you and there are people in this room and people watching you hurt you trying to be strong but you hurt you don't even want them to know that it hurt so in front of them you put on a strong face but you hurt and the pain makes you want to stop walking you survive thank god but it hurt what they did to you didn't stop what god wanted to do for and through you but it still hurt what they tried didn't work but it still hurt you're better off because of the breakup but it still it still hurts i'm wounded when i was in egypt i couldn't their ego they couldn't afford to feel gosh they just had to survive they just had to fight they couldn't afford to feel but once they got out of that fight they started to feel so you know i'm hurt now i'm going to tell you something because we're going to pray over this weariness but there's something else we got to do with this woundedness [Music] because pharaoh wanted them emotionally listen to me this is what god spoke to me he say darius people have to forgive pharaoh [Applause] because the forgiveness is the is the path to the healing god says forgiveness is a grace gift you the fact that they need it means they don't deserve it but you don't give that gift of forgiveness because they deserve to be forgiven you give that gift of forgiveness because you deserve to be healed i deserve to be happy [Applause] now some of you may be right now where i was several years ago well i was wrestling with this and i read the books on forgiveness i could teach forgiveness oh i could teach it but knowledge and mastery not the same thing oh i could talk about unilateral forgiveness which goes one way that's what uh um jesus did on a cross-transactional forgiveness with a transaction i could talk about all of that but when my heart was destroyed i couldn't put into practice what i knew i thought i was over it and then something would happen i'd be back mad again i said all right i guess i'm not i guess that seven times seventy is a process so that's when i realized okay this this is a cancer to my soul and it's stopping me so there was a lady that was helping me work through some issues she said she said something to me see some chef's family is a mindset shift like sometimes deliverance is here sometimes you just got to see it different and so i've been struggling struggling struggling and i said this this person i say he's not he's not worthy he's not worthy of my forgiveness i he didn't have to do that to me i didn't i didn't sew that with him why did i read that and i'm sitting and talking about that situation with this lady who was helping me work through and she said this to me and i'm gonna say it to you because the bible says even before we pray we gotta settle this is that what he says if i come to the altar and then there's up there he says all right here it is she said darius i say yes she said do you accept the blood of jesus as full and satisfactory payment for what he did to you [Applause] do you accept the blood of jesus as full and satisfactory payment for what he did to you she said to me darius what you lost he can't repay i don't care if he gives you money an apology if he cries if he's repentant he still can't give you back these years you lost the sleep that you missed the pain so darius you have to pardon him [Music] you have to write it off as bad debt and say you owe me nothing somebody paid the price in full for what you did to me i accept the blood of jesus as full and satisfactory payment [Applause] and you don't have to answer me but in the privacy of your own heart i want you to hear this question do you accept the blood of jesus as full and satisfactory payment for what they did to you because we need you to keep walking you can't stop you can't stop walking and so i want to pray right now for weariness and woundedness in this room online if you just want to do it to the level of your comfort i don't want your posture to be a distraction for you but lift those hands to whatever level you're comfortable doing if you want to receive this now father your word says times of refreshing come from the lord you promised rest for the souls of those who were weary if we came to you so we come today saying lord we're weary i didn't know we were going this way and father has worn me down and i want to keep walking but i can't keep walking unless you walk with me so i pray right now in the name of jesus god that you would revive that you would renew that you would restore that you would replenish i call like ezekiel the wind of god may it blow on the dry bones of your people and may dead hope and faith come back to life i pray for zeal and zest and vitality and virtue in the name of jesus you said if we waited upon you you would renew our strength hallelujah i pray i pray for renewal now renew strength high in the name of jesus renew strength renew strength strengthen hearts strengthen hands strengthen minds and lord i pray not only for weariness i pray for woundedness your word says you heal the brokenhearted and you bind up their wounds god i pray right now for heart surgery spiritual heart surgery the healer that you are heal we accept the blood of jesus as full and satisfactory payment for what they've done we declare we are free we are whole and we will not just walk on we will run on to see what the end will be in jesus name amen somebody put your hands together let me hear praise all over this room [Music] come on clap your hands all you people and shout unto god with the voice of triumph you can be seated you can be seated you can be seated i feel like we need to release just some more praise in this atmosphere i don't believe god's done he's moving and binding and fixing and mending come on church [Music] [Music] my time's up i'm gonna go but before i go here's my question to you how do we respond to a god who can fix what no one else can fix see a couple days ago i had a headache and i took some medicine for my headache but there's nothing i can take for a heartache god does that and in moments like this i think it's important to say god you've done something unique in my heart today and i want to respond i want to respond in a unique way because you made a unique deposit in me i want to sow into this god i want to give you a love offering to say father the only appropriate response to the invaluable work that you've done in my heart is for me to respond with a seed that goes over and above what i would normally do to simply say thank you all over this place watching online right now i want you to prepare your heart to simply release a seed that says god i want to sow as an expression of my appreciation watch this and i want to sow in anticipation that you're going to seal this word in my future and it won't just be a word that i heard it'll be a word that manifested in my life [Music] you
