I Caught a MONSTER NEW PB!!! (Biggest Fish of the YEAR!)

oh my gosh this is a big fish something went for it as soon as they hit the water oh it's a monster let's see if I can catch another little bait fish oh my gosh what what's going on everybody Nick from 609 fishing here and welcome back to yet another fishing adventure I have made it to the road that leads out to this fishing spot and I am nervous because last time I made this walk out here I got to the spot and realized that it was unfishable both of these spillway suits were opened up so there was a ton of rushing water making fishing impossible so I am nervous but also excited to see what it looks like today I am coming up on the spot now guys and I am nervous what's this mile walk worth it we're about to find out yes oh my gosh you guys I think this is gonna be good I don't want to jinx myself but I am optimistic there's water flowing but it is not nearly as much as it was last time I was out here this time it actually looks very very promising all right guys I'm gonna start out with my trusty hellgrammite crankbait I purchased another three I think I've lost a total of seven of these this year so they are getting very expensive but I've got three more and I'm gonna toss this as far in that tunnel as I can and see if I can catch some fish alright this one went in there pretty far ah ah shoot all right oh there's a girl right here in front of me it just made its way up from the creek I just need to find out what they are eating [Music] all right I am seeing some monster gar out here in this canal so I'm gonna toss this little top water grasshopper out there and see if I can get one to go for it because there's a fish right here in front of me he's looking at it oh he swiped that Oh oh my gosh you went for it twice he went for it twice come on how did he miss it these scar are very difficult to hook up with it is so tempting though these car are massive I'm talking state record size fish right here in front of me but I cannot hook up with any of them so frustrating [Music] I just caught it looks like a little carp with a net check it out guys I might be a little Buffalo I'm not too sure all right guys I'm using my net and I just caught a little green sunfish I make sure I using them as bait I don't see the bobber anymore oh it's moving pretty quick something definitely has it okay here we go No I lost my bait oh man out oh yes just got a bait fish feels a lot bigger than that last one what is this I don't know what this is whatever it is it is big holy cow I've not seen it yet [Applause] I am working with some light line here with a tiny hook a lot of things can go wrong right now oh it's a catfish oh no it's a big catfish oh my gosh I don't think I've ever caught a channel cat this big dang please stay on oh let's broke oh no it's gone no that was nuts as soon as my bait hit the water that dude crushed it I must have casted right on top of his head alright so unfortunately I am out of bait so let's see if I can catch another little bait fish oh my gosh what I just got a giant softshell turtle oh oh man I did not want this that is crazy that is crazy okay oh you stinks that was nuts oh he's right here in front of me alright go on buddy got here oh man how about I had a heart attack [Applause] well oh I got bait fish yes a little bluegill perfect oh that scared me that was the biggest thought shell turtle I've ever seen all right oh I got my heart going all right it's kind of taking off I don't know if something has it or what all right here we go fish on no all they're off I think that was a gar thing with gars once you wants to pick up the bait you have to give them time otherwise you're never gonna hook one but I got a little bit too impatient I got to remember that next time here we go [Applause] oh yes awesome to perfect-sized a fish oh I was getting worried there for a second it's a big bait fish big bait fish big fish oh my bobber is taking off Oh fish on no no no no no no my wine broke that was a big fish [Applause] oh there's a fish I'm not sure what this is a white bass maybe just caught that using my little crankbait Oh something just took my BOB or under Oh oh that's a big fish holy cow [Applause] holy cow holy cow [Applause] [Applause] please stay on please stay off this down ah there we go Oh doggy not as big as that first catfish but it is a nice nice nice catfish looks like a channel awesome today has been an exciting day with that being said I've only been able to actually catch two fish here is the second one he put up a really good fight on my light tackle see you later buddy yes OOP something's got my bank sounds got my bait it's way way way way way in the middle of this canal I'm gonna give them a second to eat it before I set the hook meanwhile I've got snakes that are sneaking up on me look at this they're attacking me I've got two snakes attacking me right now alright here we go I'm going for I'm going for here we go oh good shot oh it's a catfish it's a catfish oh my gosh get way from the trucks [Applause] holy cow yes there we go looks like another channel catfish awesome barely hooked in the corner of the mouth yeah see you later buddy yes meanwhile I still got the snake looking at me yeah today has been special fish on [Applause] always a nice fish I don't know what it is yet Oh with another freshwater drum [Applause] there we go awesome see you later buddy all right guys I'm gonna try to catch one or two more fish and then I have to head out of here but it is looking very fishy right now it just went under just went under just went under dang they're taking off I'm gonna give them time to eat and then I'm gonna set this up into hopefully a big fish they are heading to the other side of the canal oh man they're going quick all right they're officially on the other side of the canal running out of line they've only had it for one minute oh I'm stuck around a rock dang it all right here we go we're going for it good shot stuck
