I Can't Believe They Made It This Far!

they made it way farther than they should have in this thing oh for sure all right we're taking the old cheap truck we're going to do its first recovery we're headed to the Ponderosa normally we would just take the tow truck or the FJ but it's muddy and I do not feel like washing it and this truck the mud can just drip off of it later on and I don't have to wash it so Hunter he's in here uh typing in some GPS coordinates in by that tree right by that tree got the pin so all right away we go you don't think we're going to get stuck a Jeep got stuck you think no all right I mean we don't have a winch or anything I I like my odds all [Music] right [Music] all right we're uh to the pondero so we're going to go ahead and pull on X up see if we can find there's a pile of roads out here that they could be on oh yeah we're we're going the right way all right go find the keys for us and get a little detail and we'll go see if we can get a Jeep unstuck with a free truck all right we got keys we figured out where they're at they're not on the main road they're on observation point so we'll go out and get them pull them out and get back I'm not feeling bad that we did not bring the tow truck cuz this thing's going to be Co when we get out of here we should brought your truck no I'm glad we did yeah last time we're in your truck it did the job out here it did I still can't outlive the up you a headset all right we are uh rigged up we're just going to Skid one back tire and I'm going to tow him back out of here until we get to where we can turn it around all right we're hooked up and ready to pull this thing we'll see how it works we're just going to Skid one tire probably just put it in reverse and uh I'm going to go in low first gear and just see what happens here is your park bage this is the same one they got my truck I didn't get stuck but I had a snow recovery in my truck and it's the same bar Gage that just kept sucking me in should have brought old red shut up so now we're going to try this again this is some uh muddy stuff washed off I really wish they'd put a toe point on these things this would be easy if there was a toe point but these long shackles they make of here now and go home and wash some mud off of us and uh oh he got it cool we're out of here vehicle recovered we've got a little bit of mud on the window currently see him up in front of us he's cruising along I think we're good to go we'll go take this back to him and get on our way home back to the shop four-wheel drive works now huh perfect so after we got the truck unstuck and everything his four-wheel drive kicked in started working that's working now so who knows what it is new cars but the old free truck did pretty good we may have to put a winch on this thing so we can go use it tell the Tacoma's back up and running probably still going to have to wash this off it's terribly muddy right now all right we've made it all right we made it safe and sound that truck's dirty that's terrible but we made her didn't even rip the air dam off nothing so we're good to go back to the shop all right so uh without Onyx this one would have got a little dicey do you guys want to get some there was a big debate on there of uh whether white out or soap stone don't get me wrong I like soap stone he sends me little soap stone dispenser and soap stone look I'll show you see that I use soap stone problem is is the plasma cutter blows soap Stone away from it works good with a torch so thank you though we'll use it thank you guys we will uh put these to the test we'll let you know which ones work the best now time to wash so we'll drag the pressure washer out and POS this thing off wait for the next [Music] one [Music] all right it's morning I have to take my truck my durmax to Robbies and drop it off from our deer hit August or September whenever it was when Landon hit a deer in it finally have a few weeks that I don't need it so I'm going to take it up we're going to leave Shawn here he's going to tackle putting the motor in his old Sandrail so you'll see parts of him doing that you'll see me and Hunter drop off my truck at Robbie's then we'll come back back and hopefully be able to help him finish it and drive that thing today so if all goes well you never know how long's it been since she's ran 07 six or seven okay so there's probably going to be some brake issues we got to work through and all new fuel line stuff and fuel pumps and all that stuff but we have that those parts so I think there's possibility it runs today if not today for sure tomorrow so we'll get going you're going to pull it in forward probably right no yeah let set it on this other side then you get a crank to it that'll be sweet not I'll help you lift up say if I need are you Chain's even on should have hooked it on to this old truck this was our high school ride back in the day me and my brother we had a fun time in that my sister even drove it kind of fun these old Jewels they're both junkers at best they work but they're junk there's a lot nicer rails a lot nicer trucks but these are both mine so you got to take pride in what you have right Rock the junkers we'll see if they can uh make it to glendell and we'll go get her unloaded got my Pepsi and my Milk Duds so we're good to go I I don't know if we'll make Glamis like this but we're making glenell oh and some gas line tires obviously I got quite a bit to do get the throw out I mean there's a little grease left get that working there's some stuff to do so probably just time lapse a little bit and we'll get the motor lifted up over hopefully today we can get that thing in all right we found the man he's gonna look at this and tell us if it's fixable yeah well I'm sure it is it is so this headlight this doesn't work the Grill's cracked I don't know what's underneath there how many times you been pulled over for no headlight like a bunch so and then smoke that door in here and across that oh sweet so no big deal yeah we can get it taken care of and we just got done doing a High Country the exact same yeah we're practiced up that's good we know how to do it so I think we can get it drive up to strawberry and we're going to pull his trailer backwards he says and then he can get his truck out so we'll see how this goes get some muuk boots on get a rope and we'll go see how much snow we can find got boots gloves Milk Duds and a roll so I hope I don't regret not bringing the tow truck but it didn't sound like we needed it so here goes [Music] [Music] nothing the snow banks are maybe you could hook it you know on the axle right there even if you drug it that way a little bit right and and then once we got the trailer out you can we could kind of steer it and you could just pull it right back over there what do you think you tell me I'm glad your truck's not stuck no I was nervous you were up against the bank and well I'm up against it in the front I think if we got this trailer out of the way that we can mess with the truck yeah exactly oh you are clear against it yeah how heavy is the trailer it's pretty heavy it's pretty heavy tool what do you think Sam huh what do you think old dog come on get him we're going to pull the trailer away from the truck enough we can deal with the truck and see how this goes if it's all good we'll just keep working it okay it pulled can pull up back it up the driveway get turned around and back it back down for him so that's the game plan but it is awful slick right here so I'm not sure what's going to happen you mind holding Kink the bed or the [Music] trailer so if we can pull the trailer a couple of feet then I think we'll get the truck out a little bit more okay okay pull forward keep [Music] going one more time okay oh that's good perfect okay I think we're good pull up just a little bit okay let's see how the truck looks perfect slid the truck and trailer let me see if I can should be able to back that and get turned around now I hope I can't make that turn pointing this way so I'm going to go flip around that'll be perfect thank you well that could have been worse we it was worse in our eyes we were stuck well we didn't ruin your truck or your trailer and that's a good thing so it could have been worse well if you would have left it to me and Dave we' have had a scratch down the side trailer probably out got him hooked back up ready to go home tonight not a big deal way easier than it sounded like so the only thing left to do is go fix a window let's go back to the shop [Music] it's a been of cold ride home let's uh get this window fixed and we'll get going on some sandrails okay Landon he just got back from school I just got back got the window fixed he's going to help me pack the motor we're going to set it under here see if we can't get it in today hopefully [Music] [Music] just a little update had a lot of people stopping by had to kick my dad out actually but we got the motor in a tire that holds air there it won't pump up really but it'll be easier to load tonight so if we get the seats out we got a new oil filter but the starter is junk so I'll get a battery and a starter and hopefully the next time that you guys see this it'll be hopefully running yeah it should be maybe driving on its own we'll race on that mean Landing can race them wood cuz it sound it drives pretty good we'll see it sounds like a good time anyways all right we just made her back home it's almost quitting time we'll go in and see how Shawn made out on the day see if he got his motor put in his bug and all that kind of stuff go check it out all right we're in the shop finally again so look at that motor's in it woohoo mot's in that's a win minus the starter how bad's the gas tank good oh it's good good good deal so he got pile done today more than I got done I just slept by Hunter drove me home yeah he's like Driving Miss Daisy today basically
