in the last couple of months I have made a load of myth fussing videos covering all kinds of crazy things in Zelda tears hit a kingdom but after doing 12 videos I was kind of done with the game and wanted to move on to other titles but I still had a lot of myths left and I also wanted to end this with a bang so I came up with an idea combine all the old videos together at 20 brand new myths to it and release it as a special to end this epic journey and here we are today we will bust 200 myths in Zelda tears of the kingdom and throughout the video I added 20 new myths for all the people who are die-hard fans of these videos and sorry if I couldn't include your myth I really tried my best to cover it all but I was overwhelmed to say the least but now that I've mentioned that it's time to look at all these myths foreign first seen in breath of the wild in that game getting around can be a bit tricky until you get a master cycle zero well unless you use horses but I mean I personally didn't instead I used a trick known as whistle sprinting to get around Hyrule incredibly fast now this is a trick where the player combines Link's whistling ability to get her with constant mashing of the sprint button and by doing this you could effectively Sprint forever and this combined with the climbing made getting around very easy however is this still in tears of the Kingdom or did Nintendo patch this out well sadly enough it is gone as you can see right here when I tried to pull it off it is a waste of a lot of stamina and it isn't really working so sadly enough whistle sprinting is gone which makes getting around harder but hey at least we can build Crazy machines now when you first boot up tears to the kingdom you can see that Hyrule looks the same but if you look closely you can see that almost everything is different shrines are gone new settlements are there and Hyrule Castle is for the most part in the hands of hylians so clearly after the defeat of Calamity Ganon huge steps were made to restore and rebuild Hyrule meanwhile any old relics disappeared or were transformed into tools for the hyrulean kingdom but some people claim that you can actually find small memorial plaques that were placed by Princess Zelda to honor those that died during the Great Calamity but is this really in the game well yes there are multiple even for example this one that can be found near Hyrule Castle but this isn't the only one even outside of the walls of Hyrule Castle Town these can be found which is a fun little detail stuff like this adds character to the world and makes it feel alive so I love that this claim is 100 True on the starter Island where you first get your zonai powers and learn how to use them you are allowed to really play around with many new Concepts that the game has to offer just like the great Plateau did in the previous game and as you can imagine many people love this and one mechanic that has seen a lot is rails that you can ride on with a minecart or ride on with a hook but quite quickly many people including myself found out that you can also fuse a minecart to your Shield by doing this you can easily Shield surf down any Hill and this alone already makes it a great option however can you also grind down rails by using this Minecart Shield well yes and this is another way of using these tracks this way you can get around easily especially if the rails go down allowing you to gain momentum so in general if using a minecart to your Shield is the perfect way to Shield surf both on grasslands as well as many other terrains so in general fusing a minecart to your Shield to improve your Shield surfing is a really really good idea now it's clear that traveling in this new Zelda game is very important the world is huge after all and certain tricks like whistle sprinting can't help you anymore and so people had to come up with new tricks to get around as fast as possible and so some started to wonder can you pull out a wing mid air and then travel to your destination using it well yes but it is hard to pull off this is called the mid-air hoverstone trick and in order to do it correctly you need to do three simple steps first you get up in the air then you pull out a wing now as soon as you get out of the menu you pull out your paraglider immediately and at that point you just need to have your timing right so you can jump on the wing as you can see it requires some good timing but when pulled off correctly you can travel a lot further than you normally could if there's one thing a giga loves it has to be bananas for some reason they are obsessed with them and as far as I know Nintendo has never really explained why and so if you want you can mess with them by distracting them with bananas which we did when invading their base same breath of wild but one of my viewers was wondering if you fuse a banana to a boomerang and throw it around will yigas react to it or get distracted well I went to their base to lure some of them out so I could try this and when I did it I noticed they didn't really care their focus was on killing me instead of the banana they weren't interested in the slightest so yeah it was clear to me that this claim isn't really true now with this guy being accessible in tears of the Kingdom we soar through the sky a lot either going up or down and ever since breath of the wild we have seen that the sky can grant some amazing Resources with the most important one being fallen stars which are sometimes seen at night and must be collected before day comes otherwise they are gone but some started speculating that in tears of the Kingdom you might be able to harvest them while flying through the sky but is this real well yes 100 you can come across a falling star when diving down back to the surface world and if you get close enough you can grab it which is really cool and I bet in time people will take advantage of this Maybe by creating a flying machine which allows you to fly around for ages while collecting any stars you see I mean we have seen some amazing machines so far so who knows now fusing is one of the best new features they have added to a Zelda game in ages it allows for so many creative things like the minecart that I mentioned earlier however you can add many other things to it as well and so some people came up with um an interesting idea what happens if you combine your shield with butter which can sometimes be bought from merchants or Travelers now in cartoon something like this would allow you to Shield surf more easily with the butter creating a smooth ride but does this even work or will you fail miserably well sadly enough this stuff doesn't work whatsoever in the end you will just waste a bunch of butter and fall many many many times so sadly enough this game doesn't completely follow cartoon logic now we all know about the koroks they were a big part of breath of the wild and now they are back once again but this time you need to do more than just find them or solve a puzzle sometimes you gotta help them Reach their friend and as we have all seen on the internet some people really love to mess with these little guys we have some going way too far to be honest but after seeing all of that I did start to wonder about something can you ascend through a korok well yes even though it is an ungodly deed that shows us all that we've been abandoned by the creators of this world in general you can Ascend through anything in the game as long as it doesn't break the game itself and the surface isn't some incredibly odd shape so going through a korok by using recall to get one above you and then using Ascend 100 works now doing this is kind of pointless but in a lot of cases being able to do it is the point now both breath of the wild and tear years that a kingdom are known for one thing the amazing physics engine this combined with the ability to get in a game allows for things that are never seen in other titles I mean a title like The Witcher 3 has a great story world and combat but in the end Hyrule and the most recent switch title feels a lot more real and alive while in combat you can truly use the things around you to get some sort of advantage and all of that isn't seen in a game like The Witcher but while these mechanics often lead to amazing realism or fun options it can also lead to some weird scenarios According to some folks online apparently you can use ultra hand and recall to defeat entire bosses with just one log all you do is spin the log around and then use recall on it and then each time it hits someone it will deal major damage and shockingly enough this works incredibly well so sometimes we lose a bit of realism with mechanics like this ever since the game came out people have been experimenting like crazy everyone is trying to create the strongest machines or the best weapon combinations and one that I came across that was apparently a very good idea is combining a boomerang with some sort of explosive this way you can get a great explosive weapon that you can throw from a distance and if you miss you can catch it and try again but does this really work well yes although there's one massive drawback to this stuff if you throw it and miss you have to catch it because if you don't it will Land close to you and immediately explode which will most likely lead to death but if you're fast enough and catch it you can throw it again which is something no other throwable explosive allows you to do so there are advantages but also brand new dangers haha great really it's fun but scary as well before the game released we got a little gameplay demo from Nintendo where they showed off the tutorial area and here we saw some of the very first fuse ideas and one that is worth its weight in gold is the arrow and keys eye combination using this you can always get a headshot as long as you shoot in the direction of your target which is incredibly handy as you can imagine personally I love to use them when fighting the new stone Talus passes that have those macarblins on top of them however I saw that some people even added them to their vehicles and people in the comments claim that it would allow you to decide Direction but does this really work can you use Key's eyes when you don't have a steering stick on hand well after some testing the answer seems to be no the only reason why the vehicle moves in the direction of the eyes is because of the weight because the exact same thing happens when you put Flint on it or any other object really so the eyeball doesn't seem to have a specific effect here it doesn't guide you like it does with the arrow so this one isn't true at all now a couple of minutes ago I talked about how you could pull out and use a wing in the sky allowing you to travel so much further however are there other tricks that can help you traveling using a wing well yes and one that works uses recall in an interesting way for example you're somewhere in the sky and want to pull out a wing in a lot of cases this is tricky without a Runway if you just throw it over the edge you will most likely lose it and the tipping over the edge strategy also rarely works but some people online have come up with the perfect solution using recall to position your wing as you can see right here you just put it where you need it and then you put it on the ground again then you just stand on it and use recall and let go at the right time so you can easily fly away without any blunders this is a small thing but it works incredibly well one thing I noticed as soon as the game dropped is that many Nintendo fans are a bit um nuts within days the internet was flooded with videos of everyone doing horrible things to the poor rocks of Hyrule and within no time people started to claim that you could also get rid of these buggers forever but can you actually kill them in the game well after trying again and again and again I would say the answer is no no matter how hard you hit them no matter how many explosives you throw at them they cannot die which can be a blessing when you're trying to move them you can be quite rough with them so this myth is 100 not true they seem to be immortal beings that would be terrifying if they weren't so nice in this video we looked at a couple of wing tricks so far but according to the internet there's another one as we all know by now when you take out a wing and fly on it at some point it will disappear and so you are limited in a way but is there a way to get around this well yes and it's called infinite Glide and actually 100 works all you do is get your hands on a number of wings and then you combine all the excess ones together in a line using Ultra hand at that point you just grab them and and fly off and once the wing you're standing on almost runs out you have to do one thing connect the others to the one that is almost spent walk up onto the next one and detach any others you have now by repeating this process you can travel incredibly far without a problem heck when you run out of wings you can even paraglide to get a bit further so while you might think at first that this simple trick wouldn't work or that it would be a pain to pull off it's actually quite simple and really effective now this next one is insane when I heard about it I thought nah this doesn't work whatsoever this will go wrong in some way shape or form and so it's an absolutely useless trick but in the end it turns out to be true now if you're a big Zelda fan I bet you know about that one scene from the Zelda cartoons where link launches himself into the air using a shield and a bomb it is a classic scene and for a long time you couldn't do this in the games whatsoever but when tears of the Kingdom came out people started wondering if you could pull it off now and so they combine the shield with a bomb and jumped on it by Shield surfing and surprisingly enough it actually works you will fly up into the air and the enemies around you will be damaged and Link is completely fine heck The Shield even survives and so you can do this trick multiple times which is even more surprising so this is anything but a myth we can finally bomb jump everywhere which is exactly why this is a standard part of my Loadout in the game you never know when you need to bounce after all now after finding out that explosives could be used in interesting ways by combining it with weapons and even Shields others started to wonder if you could take it all to the next step can you combine a bunch of bombs together to create the Ultimate Weapon something that could destroy bosses in one shot well after looking around on the internet it seems like you can't do this and it works however it is risky to do you can for example combine a bunch of explosive Barrel girls and then throw them next to a he knocks this will kill it instantly but if you mess up you can also blow yourself up and then you're the one who dies so yes this does work but I will say there are better ways of getting rid of bosses in the game but apparently the damage does stack the Goblins are funny creatures they can do weird things when you're watching them but as soon as they see you you're in for a fight and once you end up in a battle with them they will do anything to kill you no matter what even if they are disarmed they will start to punch you or throw rocks at you even though both are quite ineffective but someone in my comments said that you can actually send the rocks they throw back by attaching a spring to your Shield which sounded fun and so I confronted a bakoblin with my special new shield and as soon as he started throwing rocks I could see that it worked the spring fired them right back and when he tried to punch me the spring would deal with that as well which means that this claim is true now one problem a lot of players came across is the battery running out when using Soni machines usually this is annoying but not the end of the world it forces you to wait a bit or recharge your batteries using specific items however when you're up in the sky it can be a massive problem because all of a sudden you will fall back to Earth pretty quick so is there a way around this well multiple people online claim that there is and two tricks I came across involve recall and cooking apparently if you're on a wing or any other flying machine using recall on it allows you to recharge your batteries and this actually works however as you can imagine it has its problems if you use recall the whole time you're effectively going nowhere so it could be handy in some instances for example when you're finding a boss like a glioc but aside from that it's pretty useless but luckily enough the cooking pot trick also works and it fixes this problem when I first saw this I was like nah impossible but it works if you add a cooking pot on your vehicle you can use it to recharge your battery just cook a meal and the game will kind of freeze in place but Meanwhile your batteries will recharge allowing you to get a lot further and personally I love that these claims are 100 true now in my last video I tested a myth that adding butter to a shield would improve your Shield surfing and after I released that video a lot of people in the comment section claimed that you could use other stuff to achieve this one of those was adding an ice sheet to your Shield but does this actually work well yes and it's quite logical ice is slippery in real life and even in the game because as we all know the game has realistic physics and so if you walk up to a body of water throw in a white chew jelly to freeze it and attach the newly created ice sheet to your Shield you can surf down Hills at incredible speeds with the added bonus they're replacing the sheet of is very simple all you need is some water and something that can freeze it so it's cool to see that people share some amazing stuff in the comment section that is actually very handy and true now when making vehicles in the game you sometimes run into the problem that what you created is anything but stable and so would every turn or heartbreak you will fall over and so you need to get back on it which can be a bit of a pain I have had this problem many times when making a simple Segway type vehicle but according to some there is a solution apparently if you add a stabilizer it will actually keep the vehicle in line and it's impossible to tip over or roll and after testing it in the game with this cool bike I can tell you it 100 Works hell sometimes it even works too well I ended up drifting way more than I normally would because I got almost no feedback from the vehicle itself that I was over steering so it almost works too well but at least now I will never fall over again and it barely use loses any power now in my last video I tested a claim involving the monster eyeballs that can be found in the game these can be super handy when using an arrow because when you stick them on top they allow for auto aim as long as you shoot in the general direction it will always be a headshot which is handy in a lot of scenarios however people claim that adding one on a vehicle could replace a steering stick in a pinch but in the end that wasn't true at all adding an eye basically did nothing but then people in the comment section said the following if you added an eye to a vehicle or something else would it at least go in the direction of an enemy you know like the arrows do well after some testing with this homemade uh a drone that is completely safe I found out that it isn't a thing whatsoever no matter how hard I try the eye doesn't really change anything sure it adds some weight which influences the vehicle but it doesn't allow for Effective steering or some sort of auto aim or direct effects so sadly enough this myth remains completely false so just use them for your arrows with mechanics like the slow mode that you enter when drawing a bow in midair it is Handy to sometimes go high into the sky but how can you achieve this easily well I came across a claim on the internet that was very promising and also cost effective people again in my comment section claimed that adding a spring to your Shield works really well with some saying that it can be used again and again making it almost perfect While others said it was good but you can only use it once now after some simple testing I found out that it works and it's actually a great option in the game because they are easy to find and don't require many resources however after using them only one time they will disappear which doesn't make a whole lot of sense because normally they last a whole lot longer but I bet this was done to Nerf them a bit otherwise you could constantly jump around with barely any cost just attached but hey at least it works in the game you have a couple of different loadouts when it comes to weapons three basically two-handed Spears other two-handed weapons like hammers or swords and a one-handed weapon combined with a shield however I came across claims that you could also dual wield two one-handed weapons but this is impossible right well yes it isn't in the game at all you can't do this no matter how hard you try but there is a way to sort of achieve this because if you combine a blade or something like that with your Shields you can deal damage with a Parry now personally I thought that this would be completely useless but actually it's great when you use Elemental weapon parts this way you have a shield that can freeze enemies with a simple Parry or electrocute and disarm them meanwhile you aren't exposing yourself to any kind of counter attack so it's a really safe strategy as well it's something I had never thought of before but you can't do it sure it isn't dual wielding but it's close so I would say that this one isn't true or false but some sort of plausible now we've seen that combining Ultra hand and recall is incredibly useful in the game for example when you try to fly away using a wing or when fighting enemies in the game by using materials you find in the world however one claim I came across was quite interesting but I was also quite confused by it to be honest according to people online you can take a weapon Drop It On The Ground pick it up with ultra hand and spin it around and then you just use recall to ward off any enemies but does this really work well you would think so but no it doesn't damage enemies or link whatsoever however is there a way to make it work well yes weirdly enough if you add more weapons to it using Ultra hands than the added weapons actually do deal damage which doesn't really make sense but who cares because using this you can create a spinning weapon of death where you stand safely in the middle which can be handy when taking on a bunch of the Goblins now when I saw that the koroks returned in tears of the Kingdom I was quite happy actually I loved those small little puzzles that were seen in breath of the wild and in the new game they took it to the next level with those little travel quests although some people decided to torture them instead of helping them out but that's besides the point because I want to talk about the more simple puzzles specifically the one where you need to drop a rock in the right spot to create a circle these are seen all over the place but according to some you can also solve these in a different way just fuse a stone to a weapon and slam that rock in place but does that work well surprisingly enough yes I never expected this to be real but it is as you can see right here it's clear that it will work as long as a rock fills the Gap creating a circle so I bet there are many other creative ways of solving this puzzle and I'm curious what people will try down the road now aside from Zelda Hudson is the most recognizable person in the world of Hyrule well at least in tears of the Kingdom he is Almost Famous which makes sense because his face is all over the place on signs placed by Addison so as you can imagine almost anyone would recognize him and one viewer came up with a fun little idea this person said fuse a cardboard Huts into your shield and show it to NPCs now when I read this I expected that this would lead to interesting interactions so I tried it and when I confronted multiple people with their Shield they all called me Prez or president Hudson and especially Addison's reaction was fun because he was surprised to say the least and I get why he's a big fan of his boss so clearly this stuff works NPCs will be fooled by The Shield which is a fun little detail now this next one we will look at was suggested by my buddy master of Hyrule on Twitter he asked me the following can you get a Macabre into his Sky Island without them disappearing he tried this himself multiple times but could never pull it off so is this even possible at all well I tried this many many many many times because as you can imagine working with the coblins is Pretty Tough they aren't really willing to get on some sort of weird Airship after all so I had to freeze them now usually I failed completely but a couple of times I was able to actually get them into the air but each time I ran into the issue that either the goblin would mess up or my zonai tech would completely run out and I couldn't go high enough so while I never saw the mccoblin actually despawn or something it seems impossible due to the limitations of the Zona technology in the end I couldn't pull it off the only option that seems possible to me is using one of the rocks that fall out of the sky to transport the goblin up into the sky but even then getting him on one of the sky islands is impossible almost most so while it might be possible theoretically in practice it will never really work now all of us at this point have probably seen the new bubble frogs they are often encountered in caves and finding them is quite fun actually and as some of you might know if you collect the gems they drop you get some really good rewards when you hand them in however one thing I personally always wondered about is can you actually get rupees from this as well I mean when you take out a bubble frog we can see that a bloopy spawns and runs away so if you shoot those do they drop rupees just like all the others found in the world of Hyrule well sadly enough no they don't drop anything when you shoot them which you can clearly see here which is a bit odd normally you always get rupees from them but not this time and I'm not really sure why now before the release of Tears of the Kingdom I made a video talking about what would be possible in the game specifically what items would do if you fuse them with an arrow and one that I talked about is the coarser be honey in the game when you try to collect these you will always get harassed by the bees that live inside of it so if you combine it with an arrow Shield or melee weapon it releases be hell on your enemies right well yes this one is 100 true it works exactly as I expected before the game even came out now sure it isn't the most effective attachment but it could be useful to create some sort of distraction however aside from that I don't see any use for it to be honest but still it's cool to see that it's possible when running around the world of Hyrule you will quite quickly come across this guy Addison he can be found all over the world trying to place signs for the Hudson construction company and usually you get a small reward if you help him out by keeping the sign in place and in order to achieve this you have to create some sort of structure that holds it in place personally I find this a very fun Challenge and always do them if I come across him but recently I saw somebody claim that a lot of these can act actually be solved quite easily using one little trick all you need is a link and a stable platform because if link stands underneath it he can actually support the song using his own head and at first I thought nah this can't be but in a lot of cases it actually works although sometimes it doesn't as you can see right here there are two signs above each other and that won't really work the sign will still fall over clearly it doesn't always work so when it comes to this one I will label it as plausible like I mentioned in a previous video getting around Hyrule is very important and while we lost some stuff that was seen in breath of the wild we got a lot of new things as well mainly the zonai devices which can be used to travel both in the sky and on the ground which is great but at some point I got an idea what would happen if you attached a zonai wheel to a shield using fuse normally these allow you to get around really fast while using almost no energy and so you can travel really far but does it combine well with the shield well no no matter what you do it's attached sideways and so each time you Shield surf the wheel does activate but you will fall hard so yeah cool idea but it doesn't work because Nintendo made it so sadly enough one of the first things that I tried when the game released was combining an octo balloon with an arrow just imagine what you could do for example an enemy has a weapon in his hand and so you shoot it with this fused arrow and disarm him with his weapon flying away this would be incredibly useful but is this really a thing in the game or does it have no impacts at all well yes and no if you shoot one of these arrows at an enemy it basically does nothing at all the balloon pops the enemy takes damage and then you're aim for a fight however when you do the same thing on items found on the ground it does work the balloon will attach to it and the thing will float as you can see right here with the this melon but at the end of the day this isn't very useful so this doesn't work which makes me very sad because I really hoped I could make up a goblin fly with this but no now another thing people suggested to me in order to improve my shield surfing is frozen food and personally I thought this was a very good suggestion and so I did but there was a problem it didn't work so I thought well this myth is fake when I fused a frozen drumstick to my shield things only got worse but then I decided to experiment more I mean I had to try other types of meat as well and at that point I realized something important you need a thick piece of meat on your Shield otherwise it won't improve Shield surfing whatsoever the thing to keep in mind is that the meat needs to have solid contact with the ground for it to work so while at first I thought it was fake I now label it as plausible because you need the right type of meat to pull it off and not all of them will work now one of the cool things we see in tears of the kingdom is the multi-level world with an underground World surface world and even Sky Islands however sometimes getting from one to the other can be a bit tricky however luckily enough we have quite a lot of ways of getting around one of those is the air balloon a zonai device that could be attached to something and then using fire or wind you can go high into the sky but there's a problem if you use a flame emitter for example it will use quite a lot of energy and as soon as you run out of juice you will come back down real fast however someone in the comments of the previous video actually pointed out you can use a torch and save yourself the hassle but does that work well knowing Nintendo and the logic of both breath of the wild and tearsity Kingdom I would say yes and after some testing I can confirm that this just works the torch will continue burning basically forever and you can go really high but as you can see here there is a limiting factor the balloon will at some point despawn which was most likely put into the game to stop the player from breaking stuff but the whole torch thing works really well like JonTron would say if you do the thing and you do it right and don't mess it up it works it just works alright alright alright here we go the most requested thing from the last video Canada reach a sky island this is something I tested in the last one and I failed in my quest however it seems like it is possible now I tried a couple of times myself and got really close once and I didn't even use the vocabula mask I used a rock that had fallen from the sky added some platforms and then reversed it while the goblin was on it this was a plan that was suggested by somebody in the comments but for some reason the goblin just took damage constantly Lee and died and I also found out that I wouldn't have gone high enough now I will admit I tried this hike a million times and each time I couldn't pull it off however someone else did I was originally challenged by Master of Hyrule but I wasn't the only one he also asked thorian and where I failed he succeeded actually he made a small video on how to achieve all of this and as you can see right here with a bit of effort the Goblins can actually reach Sky Islands so clearly this whole myth is true which is pretty crazy and again shout out to thorion for actually doing what I couldn't achieve while I never really use horses in a game because to be honest I find controlling them very annoying a lot of people love them and one cool new thing in the more recent titles is that you can tame your own horses that roam the world of Hyrule but it can be tricky to catch them however this viewer came up with a way to make that easier just shoot the horse with a nice arrow and get on top of it but is it really that easy well yes I shot this horse and it was instantly Frozen and so I just mashed the button to mount it now as soon as the horse returned back to normal I jumped onto it and tamed the beast in a very short amount of time so yeah this works which means that this claim is true now one thing that's a lot of fun in tears to the kingdom is fusing it allows you to create loads of different weapons but you can also use it on a shield and one very popular combination is a shield with a spring or bomb because if you Shield surf you will go high into the sky however some people in my comment section wondered if you could use them more than once normally they explode or disappear after using them only one time however maybe the forest dweller Shield could change all of this because this weapon set has the following perk bursting materials attached to the tip can be reused again and again so does this his work with the shield well after testing it with both Springs and bombs I have to say no and that's because the shield actually doesn't have the special properties that the weapons have and so anything you put on it has a one-time use no matter what you do so sadly enough this one is false now at the end of the day you can fuse a million and one things to a shield and one of my favorites is Elemental stuff it allows for some great combat moves but people in the comments section wanted me to try something different something that would be an expensive mistake what happens if you fuse a glioc part to your shield now obviously you can use it to damage enemies with a shield bash like any other Elemental item but some people also claim that it would deal damage when you block but is this really true well no sure when you bash with the shield it is extra aggressive and works well but when you block nothing really happens so at the end of the day you are better off sticking an elemental choo choo jelly on your Shield sure it only works once but it is a whole lot cheaper than wasting loads of glioc Parts one thing I noticed a lot in the comment section is that people have a weird fascination with boomerangs a lot of people wanted me to do all kinds of things with them and one claim stood out someone said that you can't throw a boomerang anymore if you attach something that's too heavy and that makes sense at some point the thing won't fly anymore I mean the fact that a boomerang even works is Magic however is this really a thing in the game well I decided to test it using both a normal Rock and something utterly massive like a piece of sky island but did the boomerang behave differently well no to be honest nothing changed the boomerang still works it just looks a bit silly with these massive pieces of rock attached to it but aside from that it is fine so this one is false food we all need it without it we will die horribly starving for days before the hell finally ends however in tears of the Kingdom that's not a problem but that doesn't mean food is useless it's actually crucial without it you will die quite quickly because man oh man some enemies steal loads of damage but some of the good food items can be quite annoying to collect one of those is Apples because they are in a tree so you need to knock down the tree or climb into it to grab them one by one in the end there are many ways of doing it but all of them require a bit of effort however according to someone in the comments there's a faster way of doing it using Ultra hand and auto build if you combine a bunch of apples together then that will be saved in your auto build menu and now the next time you come across an apple tree you just use Auto build and magically all the apples will come to you and it requires no Zone eye at all but does this work well yes and it's very easy and Incredibly effective this is actually an amazing trick that clearly isn't a myth one thing we have experimented with a lot so far is octo balloons because they have some unique properties I mean they can make anything float well that's what you would think at least because as we have found out in a previous video not everything works and today we will look at another octo balloon myth and this one was suggested by one of you in the comments what happens if you combine a shield with an octo balloon and give it to an enemy does he fly up into the sky when he uses it or does something special happen well after trying this with a moblin I found that rather quickly that nothing really happens sure the balloon pops but that's kind of it really nothing is happening here and I just wasted an octo balloon so yeah this one is false now as mentioned before people love boomerangs for some freaky reason and I mean I kind of get why you can put an amazing item or something Elemental on it and then just throw it at a bunch of enemies or with a bomb you can throw an explosive that's reusable if you miss however in my last video I got a good comment one that made me really curious as well in tears of the kingdom updrafts are very useful mostly when using the paraglider however does this affect a boomerang would it fly up higher into the air or something well after some testing I sadly found out that nothing happens the boomerang just flies normally the updraft doesn't affect it in any way it just goes and comes back so this one is sadly enough false when running around the world there's one character you will come across again and again Addison a man on a mission a mission to put up a load of signs and the player can help him achieve this now some people say that he is just boring filler but personally I quite like the small engineering puzzles you have to use materials that are found all around you to keep the sign in place while Addison ties it down and of course some people in the comments section claim that they found the perfect way to solve these puzzles and one person claimed that using a hover stone is the best way of holding one of these signs up now hover stones are zonai devices that stay in place when activated and so you could put it below the sign and it will keep it upright but does this really work well yes it actually works incredibly well as long as you position it correctly although sometimes you have to add some extra bits here and there but most of the time you can do it with just a hover Stone so this one is true now the next thing we will look at is just crazy something that is beyond insane as most of you have seen by now there are loads of glitches and tears of the Kingdom due to all the mechanics that can be exploited and while some old stuff that was seen in breath of the wild was patched out like whistle sprinting brand new glitches popped up in the sequel a bit like Ocarina of Time and its 3D remake here we also saw this but anyway in one of my previous videos I was talking about the idea of dual wielding in Zelda tears of the kingdom and whether that's possible and for the most part the answer was no but now some people claim that there's a glitch that makes it possible called zuggling it's a trick that involves duplicating and some sort of stacking of weapons so when you strike you will actually hit with multiple weapons at once but is this actually in the game well yes and it's actually used by speedrunners a lot although it seems like it was patched out by Nintendo though however the big question is is this really dual wielding well I guess you can see that link has two weapons in one hand now this isn't exactly what I had in mind but technically link is holding two or more weapons at once so I guess this myth is sort of true now one downside of the Nintendo switch in 2023 is that the device is quite weak which can lead to some performance issues and lackluster Graphics however the biggest problem in my opinion is to render distance you can create a vehicle and it will quite quickly despawn if you walk away but are there ways to prevent this well yes star fragments work really well for this at night however not during the day sadly enough so there must be something better right well according to the comments in the last video there is a viewer said that adding a glioc part to something would stop it from despawning when you walk away for a bit however after testing it turns out that this isn't true at all and as soon as it's out of sight the game will basically get rid of it so it seems like the only trick to prevent despawning involves a star fragment while these glioc parts do basically nothing so this myth is false now in these videos we also experimented a lot with Shield surfing because there must be a way to make it even better right well yes and some of those were shown off in a previous video and today we are looking at a new one what happens if you fuse coarse honey to your Shield I mean honey is as slippery as it gets so maybe it helps well that's what my thought process was at least but after testing this one I found out that honey does the complete opposite it actually makes Shield surfing impossible each time you try to do so you will fall to the ground hard and I mean I kind of get why you do fuse the whole Hive to your shield and obviously that creates instability and so you will fall again and again and again so sadly enough this myth is also 100 false now sure sure the whole honey thing didn't work and was a bit dumb however you might understand why I tried it but luckily enough this wasn't the only idea here because in the comments section someone suggested something interesting in the game the Zona device known as the wing allows you to glide through the air and this way you can go pretty far but what happens if you combine this thing with a shield would it allow for some form of gliding when Shield surfing well after some testing I found out that while it does allow for shield surfing it doesn't really work sure it does give you a bit more height when you jump into the shield surf which can be handy because it does allow you to go into a flurry Rush with your bow which you normally can do but what happens if you jump off a sky island does this create some sort of gliding effect well I tested this as well because I expected people in the comments to ask for this for sure and sadly enough nothing changes you will still go straight down and instantly die when you hit the ground so this myth is false adding a wing to your Shield does something but it doesn't allow you to fly or Glide died now in tears of the Kingdom you will come across a number of new enemies that weren't seen in the previous game and one that is beyond terrifying and hard to deal with is the Gloom hand an actual demon that tries to draw you into the underworld now most people use either ice or bombs to deal with them and for the most part this works really well but it could always be better and so after looking into claims in the comment section I found a good one a claim that makes a lot of sense and would save us an immense amount of effort as well as resources when fighting Gloom hands apparently if you put a sundelion on your arrow and shoot a Gloom hand with it then they will disappear as you can imagine this would be incredibly useful however after some testing I have to say it's fake sure the Arrow does damage but it doesn't kill them instantly or deal enhanced damage but maybe one day we will find an incredibly effective way of beating them or right torture is never a good thing however I know all of you are big fans of it as soon as you see a korok and so due to popular demands here we are again using a poor korok for a horrible experiment now today we will test whether OCTA Rock balloons work on this little guy here and if they do how high will he go now when I threw an OCTA Rock balloon on the car rock it immediately attached itself and went up into the sky so clearly it works you can make corks fly using OCTA Rock balloons however now the big question is how far can we push this well as you can imagine you can attach quite a lot of balloons to a korok and the more you put on the higher he will go and the faster he will go but at some point the party ends the balloons pop and the korok falls down so sadly enough we can't open our korok space program just yet but the myth is 100 real so I get why people ask for this one in the comments aside from the small creatures roaming the land like the coblins there are also gigantic monsters in the world of Hyrule bosses that are big and bad with the Enoch Stone Talus and molduga being a good example of this and someone in the comments mentioned a fun way to mess with the malduga boss and all you need is sidon's Water Shield because apparently if the monster tries to eat you with the shield activated it will bug out the game and Link will be unharmed but does this really happen well it seems like that this isn't the case anymore which could be due to updates sure you don't take any damage but the boss doesn't swallow you and Link doesn't bug out due to the ordeal so it could be that this claim was true once but now it isn't anymore which made me a bit sad now so far we've done some crazy stuff in this game and sometimes it works while other times it doesn't and one group of people that has kind of suffered due to our horrible experiments are the poor old koroks these little guys are stuck in place all around the world due to their incredibly heavy backpacks which makes them the perfect candidate for our horrible experiments and someone in the comments gave me a good idea and I haven't tried this one at all what happens if you throw a korok in a Chasm that leads to the depths could they actually reach it and if they end up there what happens well after some testing I found out something interesting it seems like Nintendo made it impossible because each time I tried it the korok just disappeared here you can see my first attempt with a balloon so that the korok would go down slowly but quite quickly the thing that I constructed just despawned together with the korok and so I decided to just throw the korok down but again it just disappeared all of a sudden so it seems like this myth is false Clorox can't reach the depths and will actually despawn if you throw them into one of the chasms found all over Hyrule now as most of us have seen building stuff is a big part of cellular tears at a kingdom which is something I never expected to be honest if you told me like five years ago that a Zelda game would have building mechanics that are similar to something like Banjo-Kazooie nuts and bolts I wouldn't have believed you because why would Nintendo ever put that in a Zelda game however now that it is a thing I'm glad they included it even though it can be a bit clumsy at times now I like making stuff in the game a lot especially when you're presented with a very specific task in our Shrine for example however the game also has weird limitations and someone in the comments even claimed that using multiple rockets in a build is completely pointless in the end you won't go any higher but is this really a thing well knowing Nintendo and their attention to realism it shouldn't be the case but after testing it it turns out that one rocket goes just as high as three and so using any more than one is a complete waste of resources which is really disappointing but I kind of get it Nintendo most likely did this to limit players a bit otherwise they can break the game quite easily so yeah this myth is true now obviously Rockets aren't the only zonai devices in the game Nintendo added a good number of them and so people started to experiment with the others as well which I noticed quite quickly in the comments loads of people started discussing what was possible and what interesting comment I read stated that you can make a normal wheel rotate incredibly fast using a zonai wheel so fast that it actually goes faster than the zonai wheel itself but does this actually work well I decided to make a simple device to test this myth and as you can see if you make the two wheels touch it works really well and it does seem like the wooden wheel rotates a bit faster but I'm not sure to be honest it kinda seems like they are spinning about out as fast but still it does spin pretty fast and it requires barely any energy to run and you can do some fun stuff with this like attaching weapons to it and defeating enemies like I'm doing here with this blueberkoblin and as you can see it works pretty well so while this myth isn't 100 True doing this does lead to some amazing results now one of the first fuse options we saw was the keys eye using these you can create homing arrows that always result in a headshot this was shown off before the game was even out and I have been using this a lot in the game it is so useful when fighting a boss like a gliac but at some point I started wondering about something do Elemental Keys eyes have an elemental effect aside from the Homing effect mentioned earlier well personally I had no idea and in these videos I tried to add stuff for new players as well as more experienced ones so I decided to try it out I haven't seen anyone do this so far and after testing I found out that they do when you shoot an arrow with a Fire case eye it has a strong Elemental effect way stronger than the new fruits that you can find so these combined with something like a multi-shot bow could be incredibly handy when fighting a gliac personally I will be farming these the next time I am fighting Elemental enemies or bosses and this means that this myth is true in breath of the wild bombs were easy to get I mean they were part of their chica slate tool belt however in tears of the Kingdom this changed they weren't part of your standard kit and so you have to find them in the world and so an old Zelda Classic returned the bomb flower which can be found in the depths around specific trees well that's where I always find them at least however in the comments of the last video somebody asked me if enemies will do anything with them normally the Goblins will pick up stuff like explosive barrels and weapons they can find to kill you however will they do the same if you give them a bomb flower well before testing it I thought they would it is a consumable weapon after all and throwing it could ruin my plans leading to a recalling victory but after testing it I found out that they completely ignore them they don't use them whatsoever even the smarter silverbackoblins who are known for lighting weapons on fire to deal extra damage and picking up explosive barrels didn't do anything with them heck this one is even unarmed and decided to throw rocks instead of the two bomb flowers right in front of him so surprisingly enough this myth is false but goblins won't use bomb flowers whatsoever only explosive barrels which is really odd in the last video we tried something that could save us a lot of effort as well as resources defeating Gloom hands using only one item but I won't spoil what we did if you want to know you gotta check out the previous video after we're done with this one because we are once again testing something on the Gloom hands do Dazzle fruits or bright blooms deal extra damage or kill them instantly this one was once again suggested by someone in the comments and it's certainly a good one and so I went to my favorite Gloom hand spot on the great Plateau to give this one a go and what happened was interesting the bright Bloom did nothing sure the arrow did damage but the flower itself didn't do anything and then I decided to try a Dazzle fruit and while it does stun the Gloom hands which can be very handy it doesn't deal any extra damage even though it does look like it and so sadly enough this myth is false while these items are amazing sources of light they won't deal damage to Gloom whatsoever when exploring the world of Hyrule you can use multiple different things to get around mostly horses and zonai devices however the shield surf is still a very popular option especially where you need to go down a mountain but now with the fusing ability you can improve the shield surf even further which I showed off in a previous video but after that video I started thinking sure ice works really well but what happens in the desert as we all know both breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom are pretty realistic games so you would imagine that ice would melt but does it in some instances as we have seen in this video certain things don't make sense at all so I had to test it and as you can see here the ice sheet on the shield does start to melt and while it lasts for a while at some point it will just break which I kind of expected and so this myth is true an ice Shield is amazing for shield surfing but in a hot environment it will suddenly break after some time now sure sure the Dancehall through didn't work on the Gloom hands Heck if they did it would have made life a whole lot easier but does it work on other dark enemies that are powered by ganondorf's evil magic this fruit does create an intense and pure light after all well someone in my comments suggested that I should test these things on steal enemies because apparently they will instantly die due to the light which makes sense steal enemies can't stand the light and that's why you find them in the depths or at night so I tried this and I gotta say this one works incredibly well they instantly die and so you can get rid of a whole group now I already knew that this would work because I had seen it online on Twitter so next time you see them use a Dazzle fruit and save yourself some time when you're faced with a million enemies there's one item in the game that could help you win this fight the muddle Bud a special plan that confuses almost any foe out there and so they will start attacking anyone near them no matter who but duties also work on the yiga or are they immune well this is what one of my viewers asked me and so I tested it once again I knocked on the front door of the yiga base and got attacked by a bunch of yiga members now I bombarded them with model buds right away but I instantly saw that this didn't do anything at all they didn't even react and kept attacking me relentlessly so it's clear that the model bird doesn't work on humanoid beings for some reason so oh disclaimers uh false all right now that we are in the depths let's try another myth which was suggested by someone in the comments the Ascend ability is a big new feature in Zelda tears to the kingdom and almost everyone loves it you can save a lot of time by going through stuff and it allows for some really fun puzzles as well however as you can imagine people want to push this stuff to the Limit and so someone asked me if you could ascend from the depths back to the surface world now I was certain that this was impossible but of course I have to test it and doing so wasn't easy you gotta climb onto something that's high enough so you can get close to the ceiling which required some exploration however in the end I did find something and as you can see from the footage it is just high enough but quite quickly I found out that you can't really reach the surface world this way you can't Ascend it seems like Nintendo made this impossible and only at certain locations you can actually go up for example to get to the Great Deku Tree sure you can get to the surface From The Underground but not everywhere so I would say that this myth is false now a big thing in both breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom is Elemental Weapons they are very powerful especially when you use the opposite element on an enemy it will instantly kill them and believe me this is just too handy when fighting ice enemies or fire enemies but can we apply this logic to normal enemies as well someone in my comment section suggested first freezing a bakoblin and then hitting him with a fire weapon but will this instantly kill them like the elemental enemies well I tested this with wands so that the damage of weapons wouldn't be a factor and I found out that while it does deal damage as expected it doesn't really do much and certainly won't kill them instantly so while this is a fun idea it doesn't really work which means that this myth is false now we've seen The Dazzle fruits can sometimes be very effective while other times it doesn't really do a whole lot however we can be certain it works very well on stealth enemies however does this mean it works on all of them sure the enemies die instantly but what about the stealth horses that can be found in the depths and during the night well I decided to give it a shot and after wandering around the depths for a bit I came across one and bombarded it with Dazzle fruits now the horse did freak out it clearly didn't like what I was doing but aside from freaking out and running away nothing happened it didn't take damage or die so it clearly has a different effect on them compared to all other stealth enemies so I would have to say that this myth is false Dazzle fruit won't kill steal horses even though you would expect it to be the case alright this next one is pretty pointless you really can't use this for anything well as as far as I know but it is an interesting and fun claim someone in the comments said and I quote using Ultra hand on Snowballs can make them absolutely gigantic now in breath of the wild we can make big snowballs by Rolling them down a hill and as they go down they grow in size but according to this person you can just rub a snowball on the ground and it will magically grow but does it well after trying this and man this took longer than I would have thought I had to look around for ages in order to find a snowball I found out that it was real I just picked up the snowball with ultra hand and in no time it was absolutely gigantic as big as a snowball can be in the game so yeah this works really well sure you can't really do anything with it but it is fun I guess and it might be useful to take out an enemy or two who knows in the last video we looked at how boomerangs behave when you attach certain things to them especially heavy objects like stones because someone in the comments suggested that something like that could mess with its ability to fly and come back however after some testing it seemed like it would fly well no matter what you added or how big it was but then viewers in a comments claimed that a stone Tyler's heart would actually affect the boomerang so I had to test this of course and so I decided to find one of those Stone behemoths to give it a shot and after some testing with both a big and small Boomerang I could see very well that the stone Tyler's heart was messing with their flight each time it would fall to the ground instead of actually getting back to me so yeah The Stone title's Heart really is too heavy for a boomerang while something like a gigantic Boulder is completely fine which is uh weird but it does show that the myth is true when you first go down Into the Depths you will quickly run into a number of new challenges that you won't find anywhere else in the world like the Gloom that damage it's just you permanently well until you find a light source to restore those hearts and another problem you will come across is the dark it is Pitch Black down there and you need to activate light nodes in order to actually see something well unless you use things that generate light like specific food items zonai devices or plants however someone in the comments said that there's actually one way of generating loads of light on a vehicle without using any power just use a bright Bloom and throw it on a vehicle and this way it will stay in place and you can ride around while lighting up the entire area but is it really that effective well yes this myth is true and it works incredibly well so well in fact that I always do this really there is no better way of exploring the depths now we've tested a lot of things today and now we are down to the last one and it involves a boomerang in the previous video which you can check out after we're done with this last myth we covered a number of boomerang myths some true and some false and today we will look at another one that was suggested by a viewer and when I saw it I was surprised as well as curious he said that attaching a rocket to a boomerang and throwing it will make it go super fast and after reading that I had to give this one a shot because I was especially curious if it would still act like a normal Boomerang which means that it would fly in an arc and would come back to you but this time it goes a lot faster and further due to the rocket and I really hope that this would work but I found out that this isn't the case whatsoever I threw the boomerang and it just flew forward at an immense speed and then it was gone it fell into the water and didn't come back which was very disappointing and sure the claim made by the commenter is true but it doesn't behave like a boomerang anymore which makes me very very sad when all of us first entered this new version of Hyrule we noticed quite quickly that everything from the previous game breath of Hawaii miles is gone now the Guardians shrines ancient Chic attack all of it is gone well that's what we all thought at least but after some exploration we were able to find some things here and there and one piece of chic attack that can be found is the ancient blade a weapon that is normally found on the very tip of an arrow but this time it can be used on almost anything and so someone said what happens if you connect it to a korok weapon will it act as a one-hit obliterator which was a weapon that was seen in the previous game which basically kills any enemy in one hit well I decided to test this so I got a korok sword that had the right perk and after attaching the ancient blade to it I went out to look for a victim and as you can see it is very powerful but sadly enough this special perk of the corrupt weapon has no effect and so the ancient blade can only be used once after that it just disappears so sorry demonia 39 this myth is false in breath of the wild certain elemental weapons and items were very useful when fighting enemies for example to cool down or heat up a stone Talus so you could climb on top or to instantly take out certain enemies however some features were missing but luckily enough Nintendo did add them in the sequel you can now throw items which is incredibly useful but at times you are missing stuff specific fire or Frost items that could be crucial in your journey so is there a way to solve this well maybe I wondered if you could change a choo choo jelly to whatever element you wanted and so I decided to test this I took some choo choo jelly and bombarded it with different things like ice and fire fruit which actually changed the elemental attributes of the jelly each time and you could even change a whole bunch of them at once using only one piece of fruit now this is incredibly handy when you need a specific type and you're low on resources is and it also means that this myth is true in the previous videos we have experimented loads with boomerangs really the fascination you guys have with these things is astounding and so here we are again looking at a boomerang myth which was suggested by this commenter he was wondering whether a Key's eye creates a homing effect on a boomerang normally with arrows it basically gives you auto aim so is this the case with the boomerang as well when you throw it well I got myself a boomerang put a keys eye on it and decided to confront this little foes however no matter how hard I tried the boomerang wouldn't lock on on his head automatically sure sometimes I did actually hit him but this was due to me aiming too well I was obviously trying to miss hoping that the keys I would correct my mistake so before people claim that it did work I tried this many many times and it really really doesn't change the behavior of the boomerang really the boomerang behaved normally so sadly enough to be man this myth is false we have attached a lot of things to Shields in order to find out whether they will help you with Shield surfing because as many of you know by now a lot of things do improve your Shield surfing ability which can be super handy and this viewer came up with a new one to try he said that maybe choo choo jelly could help with this because it's kind of wet and slippery in a way and so I decided to give it a shot but when I tried to Shield surf I could see that this wouldn't work it popped and that nothing really happened and it certainly didn't make my ride any smoother so yeah it's clear to me that this claim is false now the sky islands in tears to the kingdom are really cool but in some ways they are disappointing I discussed this with another YouTuber Commonwealth realm recently we expected more from them but still the small concentrated Sky segments we got were a lot of fun and Diving down to the world below is really cool however while the glider is a great way to cancel any fall damage there are other ways of doing this using glitches which we saw in breath of the wild but not everyone knows about these tricks or can pull them off so people started looking for Alternatives and one that was suggested by someone in the comments went as followed could a box fuse to a shield actually hell so basically the idea is that the box would break and take the fall damage instead of Link but is this even a thing well after finding a box I decided to test it both from an immense height all the way up on a sky island and something less scary now when I jumped on off a sky island I just straight up died it didn't work and when I jumped off this small piece of Sky Island on the surface I also died I even tested whether it would lower fall damage but it doesn't so neon pancake I appreciate your submission but I gotta admit this myth is false now in previous videos we had looked at some combat tricks involving glitches dual wielding and so much more and today we are once again looking at a potentially cool combat trick that was suggested in the comments now this one is incredibly exciting especially if it turns out to be true so let's get to the point this person said that you can hold a two-handed weapon and a shield in your hand so you're able to use both which you normally can do which has its downsides it doesn't allow you to block at all for example so I had to test this one and luckily enough it was easy to do as well all I had to do always drop my two-handed weapon hold my shield in front of me and then span the Y button while picking up the weapon off the ground and to my surprise it actually freaking worked it allowed me to use the two-handed weapon and when I held the targeting button I could actually use my shield now this trick is incredibly useful and I will be using this constantly in the game so I gotta say chloro this is genius and it's clear that this myth is real fusing allowed for a lot of new things special weapon combinations new tactics and even new forms of travel and we all use that in the game for example Shield surfing with a piece of ice attached allows you to go much further however what happens if you give one of these fused items to a vocabulin will they do anything with it well just too chill for you ask me in the comment section what an enemy would do with a rocket Shield because normally if you have one and hold it in front of you then link will shoot up due to the rocket activating which can be really handy in both combat and when you want to reach high places so will the same happen to a bakoblin well after giving this fellow over here a rocket Shield I found that rather quickly that the answer is no you will just use the shield like normal and the rocket does absolutely nothing so sorry just too chill for you it doesn't work which means that this myth is false now flying has been an element in all the switch Zelda games however in tears to the kingdom Nintendo took it to the next level you can now create entire flying machines which are very useful when going from Sky Island to Sky Island however there's a problem with all of this it does cost a lot of resources or zoneites depending on how you do it so are there ways of getting around that are significantly cheaper well according to a viewer there is a way he stay stated that adding a fan to your Shield allows you to Glide slightly further if you have your shield on your feet when gliding and I gotta say this does make sense it creates a form of thrust right below link which should help but does it well I tried this but I gotta say I was disappointed with my findings it doesn't seem to work at all I couldn't see a difference personally it didn't really change anything it seems to be a placebo at best and there was also a massive downside doing this degrades the durability of a shield incredibly fast I burned through five shields in no time and actually had to reload a previous Save State or I would have no shields in my inventory so sorry Daniel Chang this claim just isn't true as far as I can see and here we are again another Boomerang myth really if it keeps going on like this I gotta make a dedicated Boomerang video now this time around and we will be combining a boomerang with a wing which was suggested by this comment according to Andrew the boomerang will go faster and further this way and so I created this special weapon and gave it a shot and I immediately found out that it works very very very very very well the thing almost breaks the sound barrier and compared to a normal Boomerang the difference is clear as day so I gotta say Andrew I didn't know about this and it's cool to see that this myth is true alright remember how I mentioned all that stuff about getting around going from Sky Island to Sky Island well yeah why that was like uh two minutes ago yeah fair fair fair well we got another cool trick that could potentially help with travel in the sky and it's incredibly simple in the game you can attach almost any item to the tip of an arrow which is almost always used during combat well that's what you would think because according to Daniel here you can also create platforms wherever you want using a hoverstone just shoot it below your feet and you can stand on it to regain your stamina allowing you to Glide much further as you can imagine this would be incredibly useful so I tested it and to my surprise it really works I could create platforms anywhere which would be handy when traveling but also during a boss fight with a glioc so in the end Daniel's claim was right this myth is 100 real when breath of the Wild released we got to see and experience a bunch of new things and one of my favorite new weapons was the Eightfold Long Blade a yiga weapon with a weird Mystic power that allowed it to literally cut through air and so it shot out some sort of wind slash and personally I love this it really reminded me of the great Helix sword for Majora's Mask you know the one that the fierce deity has that thing was sweet and now in tears of the Kingdom this thing returns however now we confuse it with all kinds of things and according to the real cocoa media you can give this weapon cool elemental powers if you add a fire or Frost littlefo's horn to the sword then the air slash will actually have these Powers as you can see here the sword creates a gigantic air and fire slash that sets everything Ablaze which is so cool that it blew my mind away when I first saw it so yeah this myth is true and thank you so much for sharing this because I absolutely love it now in my opinion the best new boss that they added in this game is the glioc a menacing dragon with three heads that is a true challenge I personally find them harder to deal with than the Guardians from the previous game and this also goes for the Gloom hands but so like always people try to find new ways to cheat the system ways to make it all easier we even saw this with the Guardians where people will shoot them in the eye and then they went for the legs right away and now people are coming up with all kinds of ideas on how to defeat a gliac with a lot less effort now this person whose name I'm not gonna pronounce because I don't really know how wondered whether a muddle Bud would cause the heads of the gliox to fight each other I mean normally they confuse an enemy and make them fight their friends so does that happen here as well yes and no the motherboard does affect the Beast and he would most likely attack anything nearby but the heads do not attack each other so sorry my man this myth is false now out of all the Sonic devices in my inventory there's one that I barely ever use the balloon sure it can be great at times however in a lot of cases I just decided to use another zonai device like a wing or rocket however someone said that you can make the balloon rise a lot faster if you use a pine cone this fuel but does this really work well after testing I found conflicting results just using the pine cones was incredibly ineffective it would give the balloon a slight lift but barely any really so it was just a big waste of time but then I tried it again with some burning woods and I just threw a pine cone on top of it and at that point I found out that it actually did work the balloon would go up faster but in the end it wasn't really a life-changing difference heck it even had massive downsides because each time I did it I would be set on fire which even killed me in the end because I didn't have any food items so in the end Jason Brown is right this isn't fake but personally I won't use this trick in this video we have tested multiple things that would supposedly improve the gliding in the game either allowing you to get further or reach places more easily and now we will look at another one this commenter whose name is another one I will not attempt to pronounce to save myself some embarrassment said this does a shield with an attached wing while on your back give an aerodynamic effect similar to the wingsuit that's in the game normally this armor allows you to have more control when diving down to the surface world you can cover great distances without needing the glider and it even cancels fall damage if you upgrade it which is really handy but can a wing attach to a shield achieve the same thing or does it basically do nothing well here you can see footage of me jumping with and without it and as you can see nothing really changes I don't have any extra control and when I finally get to the ground I just die so yeah it doesn't really do much sure the idea was great and I get why I was recommended to try this but sorry this myth is sadly enough false now our next one is a bit uh weird to be honest but hey we are here to try even the weirdest things and I gotta admit it's still a fun one now we all know that when you arrive at sora's domain you will see a lot of strange goop everywhere which was created by some sort of monster that you later on defeat however until then you have to deal with this mess and one way you can get rid of this stuff is by using water which works very well but now the big question is can something else get rid of it as well this is the question that crazy weirdo r h had and he even suggested something for me to try a mop which can sometimes be found at a stable and after reading this and laughing truly laughing I had to test this so shout out to my sister for recording this because I already beat the dungeon so she had to do this for me but as you can see it does nothing the mob just doesn't work even though it's made for cleaning messes like this so yeah sadly enough and weirdly enough this one is false bullying it is something that all of you would condemn but in secret in the shadows all of you do it all of you love to find that one victim and torment them for hours hours and hell then you share your evil Deeds with the world you know what I'm talking about those poor koroks that all of you do horrible things to however most of these are physical you know you burn them drown them use explosives or something else however I wanted to try something new psychological warfare can you somehow terrorize them mentally and I thought of something how do they react to stalba coblins or Stell body parts will they be terrified of them well after finding some parts and even footage on the internet I can say with certainty that they are incredible really afraid of them each time they see them they will run for the hills so yeah they really do not like them and you can quite easily bring them to the korok forest so if you ever want to bully them just do this because it works incredibly well now this next one would be incredibly handy if it's real because this viewer said that you can put other things in the zone I gotcha machines for example other zonai parts not just charges but is this real and could you put anything into it then well I needed some parts for this video so I decided to test it because I was there anyway when I threw in the Zona weapon parts I got some zonai parts but not a lot of them to be honest but when I threw in the goblin horns they just rolled back out of the machine and I got nothing so clearly that doesn't work so while this claim is true you can't just throw anything into it only zonai related stuff works now when playing the game there are a lot of little details that you don't know notice or just take for granted a good example is the weather system in the end it has a massive impact on the game and world but rarely anyone talks about it however you never really know whether little Easter eggs or details are really true you know you hear people talking about them but in the end you ain't sure and I actually found one of these that I hadn't heard of before and it was certainly very believable according to the internet link will actually hum classic Zelda Tunes when cooking you know songs that were heard in older titles like Skyward Sword Ocarina of Time the Wind Waker and a link to the past and when I first heard this I was quite certain that it was real because it's something that Nintendo has done in the past but as we all know we have to test everything or we can't be 100 sure that it's really a thing and so I started cooking and within two to three dishes I found out it was real for example when I was cooking this meat skewer I could hear link humming Epona song from Ocarina of Time but a bit more sped up [Music] and during the next dish he was humming a short section of the main theme of Skyward Sword I even heard Link's Awakening when cooking my bright cap mushrooms so even music from less popular titles can be heard so yeah this little detail is truly in the game which is really cool especially because music is so important to the franchise as a whole in the last video we covered a myth that was requested by many can you ascend from the underworld to the surface world and no we aren't talking about those specific spots that were made by Nintendo you know like the one below the great Deku Tree we really are talking about ascending through the ceiling and in one of the previous videos I debunked this myth but people claimed that it really was possible and that I didn't test it correctly or enough so I decided to give it another shot to put this one to bed and so I was on a mission and I used hover stones to achieve my goal now after some messing around I finally got up there and try to ascend through the ceiling but quite quickly I found out that I just couldn't even though the surface world above me was fine there was nothing in the way preventing me from ascending upward so I decided to try this again in a couple of different spots as well but again I noticed that I couldn't Ascend upward so yeah as far as I know you can't just Ascend anywhere you need specific places which Nintendo put there on purpose so this myth remains false now when I went through the comments I came across one claim that was a bit odd and I was immediately convinced that it was fake it sounded like a joke you know something to mess with me but I still wanted to try it Mark mc9 said that the Blue Sand sealed Teddy in ryu's room had the highest knockback power in the entire game when fused to a weapon according to him it would send enemies into the stratosphere which I was incredibly skeptical of and so I went to her bedroom and found out that you can actually fuse those things to your weapon I even expected that that was fake now after doing so I had to test it on enemies and this silver moblin was the perfect victim I hit him hard again and again and as you can see he went flying each time so yeah this plush really works now it doesn't produce the most knockback possible because it seemed like a spring worked even better but still it is cool to see that this is even possible so I would say that this myth is true after finding the previous myth and testing it I was open to almost anything really I mean to be honest I thought the previous one was 100 fake and posted just to mess with me and this next one was even weirder and harder to believe but I had to give it a shot at least once Mark mc9 made another claim he said that fusing a bow to a a weapon makes it sound like a harp or guitar and since he was right the last time I decided to try this however I found out that it was a complete lie this stuff doesn't work at all the weapon doesn't make a different sound or anything so yeah obviously fusing a melee weapon and a bow isn't the best idea and actually a waste of resources and um this myth is false one thing I see a lot in the comments of the myth busting videos is tips and tricks for defeating certain enemies especially bosses and Gloom hands because they are the hardest to deal with after all and at times they work while other times it's completely useless and Michael here claimed that a muddle Bud works really well on Gloom hands and allowed him to win but he has never been able to replicate it so was this pure luck due to something completely different or was the motherboard really that effective well I went to my favorite Gloom hand spawn thoughts and bombarded them with muddlebot arrows and I gotta say it didn't really change anything sure the arrows did good damage but they didn't attack each other and it didn't increase the damage as far as I could see so while muddle buds are amazing when fighting hordes of normal enemies like the goblins and lizelfos in this instance it doesn't really do much and certainly won't kill them any faster or instantly so this myth is false in breath of the wild we were thrown into a completely new version of Hyrule and so sometimes we needed some guidance and Nintendo did include little design elements that push you in the right direction I mean most people went to the Sora dungeon first for a reason however there were also certain characters in the world that acted as some sort of guides and a good example of this is Cass he was a traveling Bard who helped to solve certain puzzles or Shrine by sharing ancient songs or riddles and almost everyone who played the game absolutely loved him he's like a living ASMR video but not cringe however quite quickly people noticed they couldn't find him in tears of the Kingdom so what happened to him well some claimed that he wasn't in the game at all While others said that you can actually find him so which one is it well after some research and exploring in the game I can say with certainty that he isn't in the game at all but he is mentioned by another character pen but in the end he doesn't tell you what happened to Cass or where he is so sadly enough this will remain a mystery forever and any claims that he is in the game are completely false fusing is one of the most fun mechanics I have ever played around with together with the capture ability from Super Mario Odyssey man I still want a sequel to that game anyway fusing is epic but someone in the comments wondered how far you could push this mechanic camel games YouTube asked if you can Ultra hand two things together and then fuse it to a weapon because as you can imagine using this this you could for example create a crazy stick grenade with five bomb flowers attached but is this possible well I started experimenting and when I glued a bunch of stuff together I couldn't use fuse on it anymore and even when I tried to fuse already fused weapons to something I couldn't do it so clearly it's not possible no matter how hard you try this myth is false now some beings in the world of Hyrule are Beyond dangerous they can be a nightmare to deal with and there's one that stands above all and has been a threat in almost every Zelda title to date the cuckoo if you hit these chickens long enough they will enact their Revenge by calling their friends who will rip you to pieces however Can You Escape their wrath because this person said I should use a Puffs room to confuse them and get away now I thought that this was a pretty good idea and so I went to kakarika Village and attempted it but I could quickly see that this doesn't work the cucko still attacked me and they weren't confused by the smoke at all so while this works for almost any other enemy it is clear that the cucko's Killer Instinct is just too strong now sometimes my editor sends me crazy videos of stuff that people do in tears of the Kingdom but at times I'm not sure if they are real or just some sort of mod used in an emulator like Yuzu and our next one Falls exactly in this category apparently there's a glitch in the game that allows you to travel at light speed and all you need is some wood and an item like a banana or a key sign but is this real well I tried to pull it off in my C file but quite quickly I found out that I couldn't get it to work so I thought that this was nothing more than emulator Shenanigans but I decided to do some research online as well and it turns out that it is real it was a glitch that was patched out by Nintendo so sadly enough you can't do it anymore for example here you can see somebody pulling it off when the glitch was still in the game so while we can zoom around at top speed now this myth is true one ability that is very handy in combat is recall sure most people don't use it during such scenarios but it does work really well especially when fighting enemies like an ultra Rock but someone in the comments asked me a question that piqued my interest we have all been bombarded by arrows at some point in the game enemies like the Goblins often use bows after all but can you use the recall ability on arrows so that you can kill the Archer who sends it towards you well who knows I had never tried this so I decided to test it in a very controlled setting all I did was shoot an arrow and then I would walk up to it to try and use recall on it but it's time it didn't work other items like Throne melee weapons were completely fine but no matter what I did arrows couldn't be targeted by the recall ability so sorry Phoenix hack this one is false but it was certainly an interesting one that was worth trying now this next one isn't necessarily a gigantic myth but it was suggested by someone in the comments so I had to try it dark spirit said hey Dr Wily throw a ruby on the ground would ya now of course I have to do it but what would happen will it just hit the ground and that's it nothing really happens or will the elemental energy that is inside of it create a cool effect well who knows sometimes items like that explode while other times nothing happens because it would only work when attached to an arrow or weapon so I gave it a shot and as you can see right here the effect is quite explosive and each different type unleashes A different kind of element clearly throwing elemental gems creates a really cool explosion that would be incredibly useful during combat so yeah this myth is true true even though it's not really a myth because most people have played the game for quite a while know about this one in breath of the wild one of the most annoying things ever was to rain it ruined everything if you had to climb a mountain to get to your destination and it was raining you couldn't get up there but Nintendo solved this in tears to the kingdom by adding new creatures that could be used in a special potion it allows you to climb on wet surfaces well that's what it should do but I have had mixed experiences with it however Aurora wizard asked me whether this potion also works on Ice since that's also slippery so I decided to give it a shot but quite quickly I found out that these potions don't work on Ice whatsoever not even a little bit and so the outfits with the same effect also don't work in the slightest so sadly enough this potion only works on wet surfaces as mentioned in the description of the item so yeah this myth is fall now one of the things that made breath of the wild revolutionary was the weather system the world was constantly changing you can actually die from heat or cold due to this Nintendo added certain items and clothing sets to the game so you can survive the elements and in tears to the kingdom this whole mechanic returned however in the comment section someone made an interesting claim shorty squid said that fusing a ruby to your Shield radiates heat which gives links some protection from the cold it can even melt ice with it so of course I had to test this and here you can clearly see that it works each time I equip the shield I could survive the cold but without it I would slowly die and this ice was even melting just like shorty squid claim so yeah this myth is 100 true and this was even seen in breath of the wild when you used certain Elemental Weapons personally I love it when Nintendo thinks of these little details in the last video I did a lot of experiments with sell enemies because both the bokos and horses don't like the new Dazzle fruits however after covering that stuff people in the comments wanted me to test one last thing what happens if you throw a Dazzle fruit at a Stell knocks the undead version of a henox which can sometimes be found in the game people wanted to know if it would kill it instantly stun it or do nothing at all so I found one and bombarded it with Dazzle fruit to see how it would react but I found out that it wouldn't kill them instantly so this claim is false but it was still incredibly effective the Stell knocks was completely stunned and even fell to the ground creating an opening so I could attack so while it doesn't kill them instantly like it does with the normal stealth enemies it is still really effective which means that this myth is some sort of real or well let's say plausible now one enemy that has been featured in these videos a lot is the Gloom hands heck we already looked at them in this video and now we are once again covering a myth involving these demons another myth that claims to make the fight easier duno said that when you fight a Gloom you should use a steering stick because when you're on it the enemy won't attack you allowing you to jump off of it and then go into bullet time so you can shoot them and then you just repeat the process however it does this work it seems like a very simple way of exploiting this enemy Nintendo must have tested this right well I once again went to my favorite Gloom hand spot and confronted them using the steering stick as some sort of Safe Haven and as you can see it went horribly wrong the steering stick was destroyed multiple times the hands could still grab me and they would push the steering stick all over the place so yeah do know this one doesn't work maybe it did at some point but I can't find any proof of it which means means that this myth is false in the underground you will come across enemies that have a special ability that is bad news for us anytime we get hit we also take Gloom damage and so you can't recover those hearts until you have been cured from it however someone in the comments section suggested a solution a way to cure these cursed beings Dr Pickle said that when you hit a Gloom enemy with a Sunda lion it turns them into a normal enemy but is this really a thing I mean it makes sense because sundelions do fix Gloom damage well after shooting multiple sundelion arrows at this Gloom lizzle foes I figured out that it doesn't do much at all sure the enemy took damage but this was due to the arrow the Sun the lion actually does nothing well as far as I can see and it certainly didn't turn them back into normal enemies so yeah this myth is false it's better to keep those pretty flowers in your inventory and use them to make food that will heal you fully Death Mountain can be a dangerous place with all the lava and enemies you can find there but there are also a lot of things to enjoy up there for example the hot springs that allow you to relax for a bit and also restore your health but one of my viewers came up with an interesting way of using these something that makes sense and could be handy in a pinch apparently you can cook food in these hot springs in a way it kind of boils it but is this really in the game well I grabbed some different food items and threw them in the water to see what would happen but after waiting and waiting nothing really happened which was super disappointing because I expected this to work however it clearly doesn't in the last couple of videos I covered a lot of boomerang myths like a whole lot so many that it's almost a bit of a meme in the comment section and so as you could have expected another person suggested a boomerang myth for me to try jar bear 9 447 said what will happen when you attach an octo balloon to a boomerang and this is a pretty good question will it turned into a balloon when you throw it and fly away or does it have some sort of knockback effect well who knows and so I decided to mess around with this fuse combo to see if it would do anything and quite quickly I found out that its effects are quite disappointing when you throw it nothing really happens to be honest but it did have a special name it was called the bouncy Boomerang and so I thought maybe it would increase the knockback but then when I hit up a cobbling with it the balloon just popped and it had no knockback effect at all which was incredibly disappointing to say the least so yeah this claim is a bust the Octo balloon doesn't do anything really now obviously we have to talk about more Boomerang stuff because otherwise people in the comments section will kill me some of them are foaming at the mouth for more of these and if I don't cover them I fear I might disappear at some point and so here is another one because the viewer whose name I can't pronounce because I mean come on look at it said the following fuse a little foe's tale to a boomerang it's good for crowd control and is handy in fights in general now this certainly piqued my interest I hadn't ever used the little foe's tale so I didn't even know what it would do so I got myself a boomerang and put a normal little foe's tail on it and immediately I noticed that it had a really cool effect it extends like a whip even when you throw it this gives it really good range and can mess up enemies really fast so yeah this claim is true combining a little foes with a boomerang is great for loads of enemies when you throw it and even one-on-one it's pretty amazing now when I came across this myth I thought it was a complete lie like there was no way it was true but as always I have to test it before I can make my final judge meant because while I have been right in the past I have also been wrong according to subord death one two three if you throw a shark fruit at an electric choo choo it will overcharge and die in one hit without the big explosion but will it well I ventured into the desert to find out and when I came across this choo choo I saw my chance I threw a shark fruit at it and while I missed the first time the second one hit killing it but there was still a huge electrical explosion so as expected this doesn't really work sure the choo choo dies but this could be achieved with almost anything since they are quite weak and the whole explosion is still there so really this is kind of useless sorry sober death one two three now in the previous video we looked at a little arrow myth that would impact how we play the game a lot if it was true and today we are back again with another little test that could be very useful in a combat situation the user whose name I will again not try to pronounce because I mean how ask me if you can catch an arrow after shooting it now as you can imagine this is a bit of a challenge the thing flies away at high speed and you gotta quickly switch to ultra hand to even catch it so is this even possible I mean pulling this off is already a massive Challenge and can you even Target an error with ultra hand well as you can imagine I had to figure out if Ultra hand even did anything before I wasted massive amounts of time attempting this stuff again and again and so I picked up a bow and shot some arrows now as soon as they were on the ground or stuck in something I tried to grab them using Ultra hand but as you can see this isn't possible at all you can't use that zonai ability on an arrow so in the end the claim of catching an arrow you shot is completely impossible due to this so yeah sadly enough this claim is false in the past we have bullied a lot of koroks and while some in the comments act like they don't harass these poor little guys we all know that no one is perfect everyone has done something wrong at some point however we aren't actually here to terrorize or experiment on them well I mean when it comes to this myth at least because Vader's first asked me can you deliver a korok to a different korok friend in the game you come across a lot of them that are stuck in place due to their heavy backpacks and when you talk to them they ask you if you can reunite them with their friends that they were traveling with and then they point you in the right direction personally I like these little quests however the big question is can you also bring them to another korok there are loads of them across the world after all waiting for their friend and so I decided to grab this korok and took it on a massive adventure and when I finally arrived at this korok who is clearly waiting for someone else I I found out that this doesn't work the korok won't even respond to the one I dropped next to him so clearly you can't deliver them to someone else which makes sense because it will probably break the game so yeah this claim is false now this next myth kind of surprised me it was a weird claim and I have no idea how someone came up with it user winter hope asriel dreamer said that a cooking pot attached to an error will destroying ore deposit in one hit which is an impressive feat normally it takes a bit of effort to break those unless you have a hammer or something and so I went into the depths to test this myth and after some looking around in one of the old mines I found some ore deposits now after shooting some normal arrows at it I could see that those wouldn't break it but then I used the cooking pot now that did the job instantly it was quite satisfying to do and worked incredibly well now I don't know if this is the most efficient way of doing this because I mean you could also fuse it to a weapon and then bash The Ore deposit this way you don't waste loads of cooking pots but this claim is still 100 true now around two videos ago we decided to mess with an eight-fold blade due to its crazy Powers it can create some sort of wind slash due to its design which can be handy in a fight since it gives you a ranged attack however what happens to this special air slash attack when you add other items to it this is now a thing due to fusing after all well winter hope asriel dreamer came around the corner once again and claimed the following you can fuse a muddle Bud to an eight-fold Long Blade and then it will confuse everything hit by the air slash this is a bold claim something like this would be worth its weight in gold especially when fighting hordes of enemies and so I decided to make this weapon and confront this group of enemies and to my surprise this really works within seconds the entire group was affected by the model bird and started fighting each other meanwhile I I could keep my distance so this claim is true clearly almost any item will affect the air slash power of this weapon which is pretty neat in the Gerudo desert you will quickly see that something is horribly wrong navigating is really hard the Gerudo aren't doing so well and there are gitos like everywhere as you can imagine this isn't a good thing and throughout the game you try to solve these issues but dealing with these pesky gyptos can be hard because they only take damage when hit by lightning well that's what you would think because according to Winter hope asriel dreamer yeah this guy again he came up with a lot of good ideas for this video you can kill gyptos with water now as far as I know only electricity works so I had to test this one I mean if it's real then it could be very useful and so I find myself some gibdos and threw a couple of Splash fruits on them now surprisingly enough this works really well it actually deals damage and makes them vulnerable for physical attack hacks so yeah this claim is true and also really handy especially if you have done the water temple before going here in the past I've messed around with Sono devices and how they could be used in combination with other items for example by fusing something to a shield and someone in the comments came up with a good one if you put a stabilizer on the shield will it prevent you from falling over I mean in the game it will always stay upright when activated so what will happen here well I confronted this glioc to see if it could blow me away with this special shield and while I expected this to work it simply didn't the wind of his wings still blew me away so this was incredibly ineffective even though it would have made sense now two videos ago we experimented with the idea of giving enemies special fused weapons to see what they would do with it this is something I even did back in the day in Minecraft just trap a couple of zombies in a friend's house armed them to teeth and wait for your friend to come back this was always a lot of fun however in tears of the Kingdom we quickly found out that it doesn't work that well a bakoblin can't use something like a rocket Shield so that's it then right well no because as people pointed out in the comments they don't have zonite batteries and so many users including jkid1337 asked what if you give a construct enemy a rocket shield with that work well maybe I mean they can use Sony devices so I would say yes and so I found this guy and gave him a rocket shield now sadly enough he didn't use it and so I also decided to hit the rocket to see if I could activate it myself but no nothing really happened so yeah for some reason no one can use fused items made by the player so yeah this claim is false shipping it is something that has become a big thing due to the internet and we've also seen seen it in the Legend of Zelda many people want to see Zelda and Link together having some sort of serious relationship even though Nintendo will never deliver on this however this isn't the only one of its kind because fans have also shipped link and Pura now that the game is out because she has become an adult again and fans are falling for her head over heels which has led to all kinds of new and interesting rumors according to San goku000 this romantic tension between link and Pura can actually be seen in the game he said that he saw a clip of Link standing next to Pura where Link's body temperature goes up due to his excitement now when I read this I knew I had to test this and so I did but I found out that none of this is actually true you can see that Link's body temperature doesn't change at all as I move close to Pura and even when I walk away nothing changes so while this would have been a fun touch it isn't actually a thing which means that this claim is false now while the last test with the Eightfold blade was a success we have another one that we need to look at one that is also very interesting as it has a huge effect on the weapons charged attack in a way that we hadn't seen before according to Zelda's combat If You Spin Attack with an 8-fold Long Blade that has a rocket attached it will spin like a normal two-handed weapon now this is something I hadn't seen before so I was really curious if this was real and what would happen to the weapon during the spin and so I grabbed my blade slapped a rocket on it and started spinning like a maniac which showed that it really worked but then I saw something even more surprising when the rocket is spent you will continue to spin and then all of a sudden it will create all kinds of small wind slashes then it fires around in a circle which was a really cool attack and I didn't even know that this was possible with the 8-fold Long Blade so yeah this claim is true and even unlocks a completely new attack that I had never seen before in breath of the wild or tears of the Kingdom sometimes you need a specific Elemental item for example when you face the opposite type in the form of an enemy because as soon as a fire little foes comes into contact with ice he will die immediately and so you don't have to deal with him due to this Elemental items like horns wings and eyeballs are very valuable but forming them can be a bit tedious sure you can use glitches but not everyone knows how to do those and they often get patched out by Nintendo so is there a way you can change them well this is what Mojo was wondering and so I tested it I used some keys wings and eyeballs for the test and through different kinds of Elemental fruits at them which actually did nothing sadly enough this stuff just doesn't work and so you are stuck with whatever type you originally picked up so sorry Mojo well it works for Choo Choo jelly it doesn't for any other monster part so this claim is false now this next myth required some skill to test and also a bit of planning because Yeet man 333 presented me with an interesting challenge jumping from a sky island into one of the many Halls across Hyrule right into the depths which I had never done before but it's certainly a cool idea for a stunt however he wanted me to try this to see if the game would still update fast enough to tell me if I was on the surface world again and so I found this Sky Island above the great Plateau that was really close to one of the holes so I could jump straight down well almost and upon doing so I noticed that the game does tell you that you're on the surface again because as you can see here it says great Plateau Hyrule Kingdom so the claim made by Yeet man 333 is false however I did see something quite interesting if you do this the game apparently can't handle it and so when you reach the depths you will be stuck in place for a bit allowing the game to buffer which looks really weird so yeah yeah I just wanted to share that because I found it pretty entertaining now building stuff with the new zonai parts is a massive part of the game without it you are essentially doomed I mean how are you gonna move those bloody Clorox from point A to B sure you can haul them around using Ultra hand but that's just super annoying and so many people have come up with all kinds of different designs that are useful in all kinds of scenarios and one person in my comment section whose name I can't pronounce came up with something cool he claimed that using only one fan under a steering stick is almost the same as a hoverbike and saves loads of battery now I found this hard to believe this won't work right I mean it would be incredibly unstable right well I decided to test this and made the machine in the middle of kakarika village and as soon as I stepped on it I noticed something this thing is really hard to control you will be going everywhere and constantly need to fight the vehicle itself as it throws you around so yeah I mean it works and barely costs any battery however it is barely usable in my opinion which means that this claim is true but it isn't that useful now this last one is a bit uh odd and it once again involves a poor korok who's going to get tortured because in my last video I messed around with some style of goblin parts and used them to bully our poor Happy Tree Friends but then the Phoenix Downer 7359 asked me if I could take this a step further by attaching a steal arm directly to a korok would this do anything at all well since I was messing around with these guys by bringing them to the wrong friend I decided to give this claim a shot as well now I quickly found out that you can actually attach something like a bacolin arm to a korok but will they freak out well no sure when you use ultra hand to get a bit stressed but as soon as that was over he remained calm even though a freaking style the goblin arm is attached to him which was quite surprising I thought he would go nuts but no so yeah the claim is true I guess you can attach a Stella Goblin arm to a korok but sadly enough they don't care one of the most interesting weapons in tears to the kingdom has to be the Eightfold Long Blade a mysterious Higa weapon with powers that no one can fully explain and it only becomes better when you fuse stuff to it and one of my viewers came up with a new fuse idea that could be super useful in game because this person said that the wind slash of the weapon can be extended by adding an octo balloon to it which doesn't make sense in my opinion but hey we are here to test stuff like this and so I created this weird fuse combo but I soon found out that this doesn't work at all it doesn't even create a wind slash anymore so clearly what this person was telling me was a lie adding an octo balloon only makes this weapon worse not bad better so this claim is false now we start off with a claim that is quite simple it didn't take me ages to test but it's still an interesting one according to this user whose name looks really hard to pronounce so I won't even try to do so fusing a hoverstone to your Shield will allow you to paraglide in a straight line now for context these special zonai stones will actually stay in place in the air when activated even when put in odd positions so the idea here is logical it could act as a platform and so you will never come down allowing you to fly forever but when I tested it I could instantly see that it didn't work both when The Shield is on my back as well as on my feet due to Shield surfing so while the idea is cool it just doesn't work the hoverstone does nothing really and as soon as you try to Shield surf on the ground you will immediately fall in the end it's not good for anything really so disclaim is false now this next one was interest sting it was a claim that sounded incredibly silly and to be honest impossible but if it was true it would be very useful in a combat situation and it's also very cheap it doesn't cost any rare or valuable resources to pull off according to link ferron2452 fusing mushrooms to Shields allows you to always disarm an enemy when parrying regardless of how strong they are so you can disarm a boss but goblin with a pot lid and a Hylian mushroom as you can imagine this would be very useful and so I ventured into the wild with a hylia mushroom attached to my shield and I came across these makoblins and instantly disarmed them with this special Shield which showed that it works I even saw that it works with other types of mushrooms but I had to know for sure that the mushrooms were the secret ingredient here and so I also tried this with a normal Shield which didn't disarm the bakoblins it just slapped the weapons to the side of it but it didn't disarm them so the mushroom is very important which means that this claim is true as we have seen in the game so far all the different items and monster Parts have special attributes and one that is the most useful by far is the key's eye because it makes shooting a whole lot easier it automatically hits the target so you can never miss however someone came up with a new use case trexgamer asked me what happens if you attach a Key's eye to a sword and throw it and this is a good question will it behave like an arrow does with this thing attached to it or not at all well I tested it and found out that it doesn't actually work each time I threw the sword it would behave normally it wouldn't correct my mistake or anything so really it doesn't work it's better to use these on arrows instead so yeah this claim is false in the last video I messed around with Estelle Knox which is an undead he knocks that introduces some new challenges not seen with the norm version and after people saw that boss in the video someone asked me to do some more experiments with them for example versatility asked Can you recall the Stell knocks rib back at it please try this Dr Wily and because this person asked so nicely I had to try it and so I once again went down into that hell hole to confront this cursed being now after running from him for a bit he finally decided to throw one of his ribs and I was able to use recall on it however it did very little sure due to using this power it didn't hit me but the rib didn't go back in place or dealt any damage to the Stell knocks so yeah it works this claim is real but sadly enough it isn't some 400 IQ play where you can deal damage while dodging an attack to be honest it's better to just dodge the thing now this next one sounded like a lot of fun when I read it in the comment section of one of my previous videos it made me curious and sounded like a fun way to make the game harder it's like a self-inflicted handicap because jelderone said making the Electoral little foes wet with a watery fruit or any weapon with an opal makes them stronger with an electric Aura and this made a lot of sense to me I was quite sure that this was actually possible in the game but still I went into the desert to try it out now I found this electrical little foes and hit him with a splash fruit and immediately he got an electric aura that almost made it look like he was going Super Saiyan mode and as expected it became harder to deal with him as well because as soon as he got close to me I was screwed and these guys are pretty fast so yeah this claim is true and it's really cool to see that this works in the game but at some point the effects will run out so you gotta keep bombarding them with this stuff which is the only downside now sure the Zelda series is all about combats puzzles Dungeons and exploring however there's also one other thing that it's known for mini games we have seen these in every title to date and they are always a lot of fun I especially like those from the N64 era and in tears to the kingdom we come across them as well and one of the most famous mini games that can be found is in lurlin Village a character there known as Cloyne not sure if I pronounced that correctly runs a three chest minigame there and you can win all kinds of prizes however you need to pay in order to play but according to user09 you can play for free if you have a roasted porgy in your inventory these Fish can be found in the area and you can even obtain them for free at the campfire near the dock so I grab those and tested this claim and it's true he apparently loves them and will allow you to play if you give him a fish so each time you come there you can grab the roasted porgies around the campfire and use those to get all the items at the minigame for free which is a really neat trick that I will be you using every single time from now on and it shows that disclaim is true one of the first things that many of us discovered quite early on in the game is that the rails found in tears of the Kingdom can be used even if you don't have a minecart you just use Shield surfing to ride these rails which can be handy on the starting island of the game however as we all know at some point the fun will end because the shield you're using will break at some point but according to exonato 22 this isn't the case when you're on the reels apparently the shield will never break or take any damage when doing this which is a bold claim because normally your Shield will degrade and take damage no matter what you do in the game so I went to the sky to test this myth and as you can imagine this took quite a while because I had to Shield surf on Rails again and again to see if anything would happen and so after doing this for ages I found out that nothing really happens The Shield didn't break and what wasn't even damaged as far as I could see so weirdly enough this seems to be true Shield surfing on Rails can be done forever which is quite nice because man if it did break right here I would fall all the way down as you can imagine these videos are usually filled with claims that are useful in the game they make combat easier allow you to cheat puzzles or challenges and more however sometimes we also add clams to these videos that aren't necessarily useful in the game but they are interesting or fun and for number eight we will look at one that falls into this category because Mark mc9 said if you hit a stake with a beam emitter it makes music which sounded like a fun claim to test and so I jumped into the game and set up a little experiment these Stakes were set up at different height levels and I hit them with a beam emitter to see what would happen and I found out that they actually do make sound and online you can even find videos of people playing entire songs with these things which is really cool now I have no idea why this was added by Nintendo but it's a fun little Easter egg and as you can see right here this claim is true now in the last two videos I experimented a lot with arrows and whether the zonai abilities work on them but after sharing my findings I got a lot of comments from people to experiment more with them for example Edward knew Harvey said you definitely can recall meat wood and various other fused items when shot by an arrow so what if an enemy is shooting a bomb or any other fused arrows at you well this was an interesting point that was made by many others as well so I had to test it and to start off I tried this by attempting to recall my own fused arrows and when trying to do so I saw something interesting each time I shot the arrow I couldn't recall it even if something like monster guts was attached to it but then when it hit the ground and the item and arrow became separate from each other I could use recall on the item and it would follow the trajectory of the arrow I just shot so this shows that the arrow even when fused with something can't be recalled but as soon as they are detached from each other you can use the Ability but only on the item it's clear that Nintendo designed all of this in such a way that recalling an arrow is impossible no matter what you do I couldn't pull it off anyway and I added multiple different types of things to the tip so yeah this claim is false now this next one was super fun to test even though it took a bit of time to set up due to the required aim because someone asked me if he can shoot a gliac in a head with you Novo because as we all know he can be shot off like a cannonball and so I went to the Coliseum to surprise the glioc found there now I will say setting up this shot did take a while I had to get the angle distance Arc and everything else right but when I did did it was magical I hit him right in the head which kind of pissed him off but that was about it the damage was mediocre and I was too far away for the boss fight to start and so I could do this again and again as you can see right here so yeah try this yourself because it's a lot of fun Elemental effects are a big thing in the game for example in combat where it can have different effects or in the world where you need to keep an eye on the climate so you don't die however these aren't the only things you gotta keep in mind for example when you go inside of Death Mountain it becomes so hard that certain items can't be used if you throw a bomb flower it will immediately explode which is a bad thing because you will most likely die due to the explosion however someone in the comments came up with a good idea sasavic said with sidon's water Shield allow bomb throwing on Death Mountain it does shield you from the heat after all so hey maybe it works and this makes sense and so I went into the depths of Death Mountain and tried this myth to see if it would work and the answer is yes however it isn't as great as you would imagine sure you can throw the bomb but as soon as it's exposed to the heat it will explode however the Water Shield actually protects you from the explosion and so you won't take any damage at all so yeah this claim isn't 100 true but also not 100 false so I would put this in the plausible category sure you can throw it without dying but the heat will still affect the bomb and so it explodes almost immediately in tears hit a kingdom a lot of new special plants were added and all of them have quite unique effects and one of the best ones out there is the Dazzle fruit an item that can stun but it's also very effective against steal enemies and as mentioned I did some testing on stealth enemies and due to this people wanted me to experiment more and so this commenter who has a bit of a weird name said if you fuse a Dazzle fruit to an air arrow and managed to shoot the Stell knocks in its eye it does massive damage ejects the eye and it's a one-hit kill now this sounded quite believable and so I went to test it after I messed with his ribs for a bit and this one took a while to get right and it was quite tricky and to be honest my findings were quite inconsistent I hit him in the eye a couple of times and while it did do extra damage the effect described by the commenter wasn't seen But then one Arrow did have the effect we wanted so sometimes it works and other times it doesn't It's Tricky maybe it only works if you hit a very specific spot of the eye it seems like that's the case at least so when it comes to this claim I will say it's possible but hard to pull off in the past we have messed around with stone taluses especially the new hearts that they drop and in one of my recent videos I actually got a comment that made a very big claim that seemed like a lie Z meat gears waffles said if you fuse a stone Tyler's heart to your Shield it will reflect projectiles back at enemies now I didn't believe this at all but I still tested it and when I did I wasn't disappointed as expected this claim was false sure it does stop the arrows pretty well but they don't bounce back and hit the enemy which makes sense because I mean it's a rock it absorbs all the energy of the arrow and it falls to the ground or just breaks now in this video we have seen that sidon's ability is useful for more than just getting rid of weird goop it can be a shield of sorts as well but does it have any drawbacks I mean you're surrounded by water so what happens if you mess with an electric item well Sushi blocks wondered if you use an electric Arrow inside of sidon's water bubble will you die and I think this is a pretty good question because following Nintendo's logic it should hurt you but upon testing it I found out that it does nothing when you try to throw electric choo choo jelly it won't shock you well unless you throw it at your feet and the same goes for any arrow that has an electrical item attached to it you can shoot without any problems so disclaim is false weirdly enough being surrounded by water isn't the problem this time while normally it is now this one has been requested by the same person a couple of times and so I had to cover it it is quite a simple myth but I was still curious if it would work even though it doesn't really matter at all Checkmate said landing on a lily pad in water also cancels fall damage but is this really a thing will I went to the big starting sky island and tried it there using a spring because with that I could get high enough in the sky that landing on the ground would do big damage but when I landed on the lily pad in the water I saw that I didn't take any damage at all so just like normal water it will break your fall now I will admit that this isn't really useful or anything because the lily pads are always found in water but it's still a fun little fact I guess now to end this video with a bang we will be trying something interesting that could be life-changing if it's real at least because another myth has popped up in the comment section about the Gloom hands and how you can defeat them in a blink of an eye Andrew Blackley asked me if it's possible to kill multiple Gloom hands with one ancient blade fused to an arrow now I wasn't sure if this could be done I mean the ancient blade is one of the most powerful items in the game as it harnesses the forces of ancient chica technology but who knows if it can defeat so many strong enemies at once and so I went to my beloved Gloom hand friends who I literally visit on a weekly basis due to all the requests that you lovelies make and I greeted them with a warm welcome in the form of an ancient blade Arrow which instantly killed one of them but two others also took damage but it didn't even kill them and upon trying this again I damaged three of them but none died so sadly enough this isn't as effective as you would imagine maybe it's possible but probably not which means that disclaim is false and a bit of a waste of an ancient blade in the previous video we have messed around with various enemies from a coblins to gibdos and today we will once again experiment with the new enemy type that I just mentioned because they have a weird power for some reason they don't take any damage when you hit them in many ways they are like unkillable zombies so how do you get rid of them well electricity seems to work it makes them weak but are there any other things that could work as well according to Captain OD there is he said I use Dazzle fruits to strip the shells of gypdos and so I went to the desert to test this stuff I found this small group and threw a Dazzle through that done which was very effective as all of them became stunned and were weak to my attacks this showed me that a fruit like this is actually incredibly effective even better than using something like a shark fruit so yeah disclaim is true and also very handy in game in breath of the wild getting to the corrupt forest was a challenge it was hard to find that you could easily get lost but when the sequel came out Nintendo wanted to change things a bit and so reaching these Woods has become even harder for those of you that don't know if you want to go there in tears of the Kingdom you need to travel through the depths and at one location you can Ascend up and get there but is there another way of doing it can you also drop down from above this is what a viewer asked me so I went up to a sky island and jumped down right into the forest trying to reach its Center but when I was almost there the men list made me Fade Out and so I couldn't reach it and no matter what I did I couldn't get through this special barrier so it seems like the only option you have is going through the depths which means that this claim is false boomerangs have been in the Zelda series for a long time and have been crucial in so many dungeons but now in tears of the Kingdom we don't have special dungeon items anymore and so boomerangs can be found anywhere and are mostly used as a weapon and as some of you have seen they are quite popular as we have tested an insane amount of boomerang myths like really it's impressive especially all the jokes about it in the comments and of course we are going to experiment with them again today because Channel Mongoose said if you fuse two boomerangs together they will fly differently which is actually a simple one to test and so I went into the wide world and got myself two boomerangs and combined them into one at that point I started throwing the thing around and quickly noticed that nothing really changed sure it was a lot bigger now but that's kind of it the boomerang didn't fly differently or anything really so yeah sorry this claim is false and not really useful for anything really alright this next myth is just wild and it's a claim that I've seen multiple times in the comments section and each time I saw it I was convinced it was just some troll someone that was messing with me tempting me to try this so yeah after seeing it again and again and again I had to give this one a shot because Lucas said that putting a sky Mushroom on your Shield using the fuse ability will neglect fall damage now as you can imagine I am highly skeptical of this claim but I had to try it so I could finally debunk or confirm this myth and so I went High into the sky with a shield ready to go and when I jumped I noticed that this guy mushroom Shield wasn't gonna save me I took all the damage and instantly died and even when testing from a smaller height I still took full damage so yeah as expected this claim was 100 false and isn't really useful for anything sure sure a mushroom on a shield does nothing it doesn't allow you to survive insane drops but it isn't the only claim like this out there because in a comment section toasted said when you ride a steering stick you are immune to fall damage so what happens if you threw yourself off a sky island and tried riding one well this made me curious could this really work or does something go horribly wrong in the process well in order to find out I went to a sky island and set myself up to perform this this trick and when I did it something went very wrong for some reason link lets go of the steering stick and so he falls to his death so in the end this stuff clearly doesn't work but is there a way to make it work well when I added something to the steering stick like a hoverstone it did finally work link doesn't let go and so when you hit the ground it will cancel all or most of the Fall damage making something like this survivable which means that this claim isn't really true or false but plausible it just requires some extra bits and pieces and not just a simple steering stick now this next one is very interesting and it was also a lot of fun to test because I was able to mess around with book hoblins once again because this user whose name I certainly can't pronounce said try to take all the weapons from an enemy and give it a korok weapon with a Dazzle fruit attached now if he hits you will the enemy stun itself or will you get stunned by it or something like that well this was a good question and also a fun little claim to test and so I grabbed a korok sword from the forest added a Dazzle fruit on it and gave it to a bakoblin now when he hit me The Dazzle fruit went off but surprisingly enough link was unaffected while the mccoblin was blinded and even dropped the weapon but then he picked it up again and the same thing happened now I bet he would go on to do this forever and ever and ever because he doesn't learn from his mistakes so I bet this would work really well when you're fighting a big group of enemies because one of them will constantly sabotage the whole thing and so disclaim is true and also really funny to mess around with now in tears to the kingdom a number of new things were introduced like the depths a completely new world that is right below your feet in many ways it's dark and depressing so the complete opposite of the surface world even the land is the opposite with mountains being Canyons however one of the most annoying things to do with down there is the effects of Gloom some sort of malice-like substance that weakens you due to its dark magical powers and so you will lose hearts that can't be restored until light has healed you and due to this the light notes that are found down there are very useful however are there any other ways to recover from this stuff well maybe shy link said that you can restore hearts in the depths from Gloom with a zonai light but is this true it would be very handy after all since you can grab one from your inventory and use it right there well after taking some Gloom damage and setting this zonai light down I noticed it doesn't do anything really the light hits me but it doesn't restore any hearts I'm still affected by the effects of Gloom so yeah this claim is false these lights are great for finding the way down there but that's kind of it now this next little myth didn't take a lot of effort to test it was short and simple just a guy mentioned in my comment section that if if you use the scope from the Pura pad when gliding it will slow down everything and so in order to test this I went to look at Landing to see if it was real because there you can see a bunch of ritos flying around and so I wanted to see if they would slow down when I looked at them with the scope while gliding in the air and the answer is yes everything slows down to a crawl similar to the flurry ability scene in the game when you do a perfect Dodge now I think they added this so that scouting the area in the air is doable without dying in seconds but in the end we have no idea why Nintendo added this however this claim is 100 true and I bet it's incredibly useful when trying to pull off glitches and even make some of them possible in previous videos we've seen how zonai Parts can be great to make all kinds of vehicles but this isn't all because we have also seen that combining them with weapons or Shields can lead to amazing results and today we are once again looking at something involving a zonai device a hover Stone to be exact because this user who has a bit of an odd name asked me will attaching a hover Stone to your Shield prevent you from tumbling when a strong enemy hits you well I had no idea and so I looked for some enemies and tried to test this now I could see that the shield did work it blocked hits and I didn't fall to the ground or anything but when someone did hit me I just fell and ragdolled so in the end as far as I can see nothing really changes adding this to your Shield just consumes battery but doesn't make you any stronger or better so yeah this claim is false now this next myth is a small one it is quite simple but I was still curious whether it's real at all as we all know stabilizers are zonai machines that will stay upright when activated and no matter what you do they will stay like this well unless you run out of energy but someone claimed that when these Zona devices roll out of the gacha machine they will always stay upright now is this true or a lie well I tested it and as soon as I saw those stabilizers roll out I noticed it wasn't true many of them were upside down or sideways which shows that they aren't always upright when they come out so yeah this simple claim is false now of course you can combine hover stones with other things as well and knowing these videos I kind of expected the following request Joe gaming wondered what will happen if you fuse a hoverstone with a boomerang he expected that it would just kind of stand still in the air and personally I had no idea what would happen if you actually did this and since I already had a boomerang from the other myth that we tested I added a hover Stone to it to see what would happen and when I threw it it did something very surprising it flew for a bit but then all of a sudden the hover Stone just popped up meanwhile the boomerang just kind of fell to the ground as soon as the hoverstone activated so it has a bit of a weird Effect one that is very similar to what was described in the comments but in some ways it's also very different now it's not super useful because you could also achieve the same effect with an arrow which allows for more Precision but I guess the claim is possible sort of it's a bit weird in my opinion in the past we have tested multiple myths involving height ways to go high into the sky using barely any resources now in the end the most popular ways of achieving this are Springs bombs and Rockets especially when you combine them with a shield this way you can just grab them at any time and use the attached item to go high up into the sky but one commenter claimed something that piqued my interest axcall said a spring Shield goes higher than a bomb and Rocket shield now personally I had no idea which one was best and so I decided to test this stuff to see which one is King I decided to set up sharp in Hyrule Castle town and tried all three of them in various forms even using the spring on its own to see how high it would throw me and what I found out is that Rockets are the best when it comes to Shield combinations while the spring was the best when used on the ground instead of a shield meanwhile the bomb was by far the worst you just don't go that that high but at least the explosion is handy when dealing with enemies but in the end it is clear that the claim of the spring Shield being King is 100 false in the game the Goblins sometimes come up with clever ways to kill link usually involving explosions weapons or fire but even when they have nothing they will continue to attack regardless of the odds which is actually quite Brave of them hell even when they are disarmed they will even throw rocks as a way to damage link which isn't very effective but it's something however Red Sea blade was wondering if you can actually use the recall ability on the Rocks thrown by these guys now I was quite sure that this would work and so I confronted a bakoblin and disarmed him now once he started throwing rocks I quickly noticed that using recall on these works and so I slowly killed him using his own rocks which shows that disclaim is true which I already expected because in many ways it's similar to the rocks that are shot at you by octar box now for this video I already went into the depths to test something but now we are going back to test another even though it is quite spooky down there but Sushi Blocks made a claim that hats will be tested she said if you have golden hearts and take any Gloom damage all the golden hearts that you have will be gone now if this was true then that could be very bad news golden hearts are very useful in the game after all and so I went down to the depths after eating a hearty salmon to see if this stuff was true and to my surprise she was right you lose all of them as soon as you take any Gloom damage so clearly Golden Heart Food isn't that useful down there which shows how brutal these hellish lands can be the yiga clan are a strange group of chica defectors that try to help the forces of evil to win but most of the time they just don't succeed and in many ways they are a bit goofy I mean just look at their leader but the ones thing that stands out the most is their love for bananas they will do anything to get those and are easily distracted by them and so one of my viewers asked me does a banana Shield do anything to yiga members which was an interesting question and so I went to their Haida to test it because if you knock on their door they will see its link and a number of yiga will spawn but when I showed them my beautiful banana Shield they still attacked me and didn't care about it whatsoever which I found quite surprising so as far as I could see they just ignored it and nothing really changed so yeah this claim is false you guys only care about bananas on the ground now in previous videos we didn't test that much in the depths for some reason we just didn't go down there however now we are doing loads of research and this next myth is another one that takes place down there because someone on Twitter told me that if you feed a frog's meat or other things instead of bombs they won't blow up but they will get distracted by chewing on it and since this person even contacted me on Twitter I had to cover it I mean he put in extra effort to get featured now when I found the frogs and threw a piece of meat into his mouth he started chewing which took quite a while you could easily run away in that time so if you ever want to avoid this boss this is the way to go although I bet most of you will take him out for the loot zonite is quite handy after all but it's still cool to see that this claim is real so shout out to West 3D gaming for putting in the extra effort of contacting me all the way over on Twitter or well X as it's known now for some weird reason I have shown all of you what octo balloons can do and as we all know they can be handy for a lot of things but now someone asked me to try something that I had kind of done before but I had never shown it what happens if you Shield surf while there's an octo balloon fuse to your Shield does it do anything could it act as some sort of airbag this is what a viewer asked me and I had tried this before so I knew exactly what would happen but still I wanted to show it now when you do this the balloon will pop as soon as you hit the ground but does this prevent fall damage well no sadly enough it does nothing at all it's pretty useless to be honest so this claim is false even though it would have been cool if it acted like some sort of airbag now in the world of Zelda tears to the kingdom there are a number of amazing food items and man oh man you need them and so food items that give you extra Hearts some sort of bonus like strength or defense or anything else like that are worth their weight in gold but one thing that has become incredibly valuable in the game are fairies because mifa's Resurrection Powers aren't a thing anymore and so these fairies will save you from death and so it's very handy to keep a couple of them on you at all times and someone in my comment section shared a good way of collecting them as they are quite skittish geomaster said that if you eat a food that makes link glow and you're near a fairy whether in a cave or on the sky island the ferry will get closer to link but this will only work in caves or at night doing so in the day won't work and for better results you should Crouch near the ferry so you won't scare it away now if this is real it could be very handy and increase the success rate of capturing them and so I went High into the sky at night to test this I even used a very powerful glow food item for this and when I tried to capture these fairies I noticed that nothing really changed they didn't really come towards me or anything and so it wasn't super successful so I think that this one is false it didn't really work for me at least now we all know that the world of Hyrule is a dangerous place filled with all kinds of horrifying monsters that will hurt you and one of those is the bakoblin a minion of Ganondorf that's kind of goofy but it can also be deadly but compared to breath of the wild which was the previous game they got some new tricks this time around some of them will be walking around with some sort of makeshift backpack and they will often fill these with stuff like bomb flowers and when you walk by they will start throwing or shooting these at you which can be very effective but one viewer in the comments known as Fisher fish asked me if you can fill their backpacks yourself as well replacing the bomb flowers with Splash fruits for example and personally I thought this was an interesting question so I had to test it and so I found this guy the perfect bakoblin for this little experiment and to make it all easier I froze him for a bit so I could empty his backpack but when I tried to put other stuff into it I noticed that this was impossible everything would just fall through it was almost like the Goblin and its backpack were in the solid matter anything that touches it will just go through it like it's a ghost so sadly enough this isn't possible and really I tried this a lot before finally giving up which means that this claim is false now the next myth on The Chopping Block involves a boomerang because of course it does this is a curse I cannot escape from but this is an interesting one because if it's true then it would be one of the best weapon combinations in the entire game user Mercy 3ls asked me if you attach a korok leaf to a boomerang will it create a whirlwind when thrown well this is a good question because if it does then it could be great for crowd control I mean it would be similar to the Gil Boomerang from Twila princess after all but is this the case well after cutting down a million trees to get one korok leaf I got myself a boomerang and put it to the test and the results were I guess mixed because when I tried to throw it the boomerang did create a strong gust of air but it couldn't fly or anything so it doesn't create a Whirlwind or something like that but it would knock enemies down however the same could be achieved with any weapon really so in the end this is false sort of it doesn't do what you would want at least in the past we have experimented with attaching Keys eyeballs to different items because when you put it on an arrow it will have an interesting effect it's like a homing device to make sure you hit your enemy no matter what and it's always a headshot as well but what happens if you attach it to a spear those fly straight and are kind of made for throwing after all this is what Mr Man asked me in the comments and so I had to give it a shot to finally find out whether these things are only useful on arrows and so I put an ice keysai on This fishing Spear and threw it in the direction of this the goblin but no matter how much I try the spear wouldn't hit the macawlin or change direction in any way so clearly it doesn't work really Key's eyes only work on arrows and nothing else really which is a bit disappointing to be honest now this next one was a bit of a weird claim but hey I'm here to try to order stuff that people come up with after all so you know what I will try to combine sight on shield with ryu's lightning to see if it does more damage even though it doesn't make any sense at all because the two aren't related or interact with each other in the slightest but this is just my opinion because shadowplays thinks that this will actually work in the game and so I went to this he knocks to see if normal electricity would do less damage compared to doing this with side on shield on and as expected I found out that this doesn't change anything the Enochs took the same amount of damage from a lightning strike so yeah this one is false but I did see that side on Shield will actually block a hit completely which I didn't know so that's a cool little detail that's useful in game this next myth was an interesting one and if it's real it's something I've seen a million times but never really noticed because because you know I'm an idiot with very little spatial awareness now user Phantom said we all know that when you fuse a key side to an arrow it will Target enemies but did you know that when aiming the eye will pulse depending on whether link is aiming towards an enemy now this is something I had never seen or at least noticed and so I found some enemies and put this to the test and very quickly I could see that this is actually real which is a fun little detail that I had never seen before as soon as I aim anywhere close to an enemy it will glow and pulse but when I aim at nothing it won't do this this was most likely put in a game so that people could see whether the arrow was targeting anything or nothing so yeah disclaim is true one of the best new things in tears of the kingdom is building you can make almost anything with zonai devices after all but as you can imagine Nintendo had to do something to limit players otherwise they could do stuff that would break the game even though they can already kind of do that and so that's what they had to add whole battery mechanic this way you can't use zonai devices forever but of course players have been looking for ways to cheat the system and this next myth is another one that tries to solve this issue according to PVP you can recharge your battery if you talk to a korok but only if you already delivered him to his friend now after reading this I decided to test all of it and so I started with a korok that was still lost but I saw that they do absolutely nothing they won't recharge your battery whatsoever and so they are quite useless and when I did the same with a korok who was already delivered to his friend I found out that it instantly recharges your batteries like all of them so that was quite useful and showed that this claim was actually real but there's one problem with all of this you can't take that korok with you anywhere so really it's a fun little secret but ultimately it isn't useful sadly enough you can't take them with you and go into the sky with a flying machine and use them as a way to recharge and another problem is that they also despawn rather quickly as soon as you reload the game the camp is empty so while I like this one it isn't necessarily useful adding items on the tip of an arrow can change a battle instantly with them you could win but not all the Aero combos out there are useful actually most of them are quite useless to be honest but one thing that I hadn't tried so far was adding a Hylian pine cone to an arrow to see what it would do but luckily enough POG in the comment section suggested that I should try this because he wanted to see if it would create a fire arrow if you light it and so outside of Lookout Landing I made a fire and stuck my pine cone arrow in the Flames now immediately it exploded in the fire roared damaging me in the process but it did lead to a fire arrow so we got the result that we wanted even though you can also get a fire arrow by putting a normal one in Flames so it was a bit useless but still was cool to see that it still led to a fire explosion and I bet it would be very useful when enemies are sitting around a campfire because you can set them all on fire in one hit some items in the game have special abilities that you would never expect from them and one of those is the mushroom in the past I also experimented with them and one thing I found out is that they have a bounce effect and some of you know about this and so this user asked me what would happen if an enemy got hit by a mushroom Boomerang would it have a strong knockback effect which could be handy to keep foes at a distance I mean you can even throw the thing well who knows so I tried it but to my disappointment this doesn't work sure it deals damage but there's no knockback effect which is a shame and that also means that this claim is false in one of the previous videos I experimented with plushies which can actually be found in Gerudo Town that's because Ryu actually has a couple of sansil plushies in her bedroom which can be picked up and fused to weapons but according to bulliat if you bring the right plushie to Ryu she will say Patricia which is probably the name of that plushie however does this really happen well I actually brought her all the plushies one by one but each time I was disappointed she didn't react whatsoever and kept talking about some side quests that I didn't care about at all heck some of the time she even didn't look at them so really she doesn't care and has other things on her mind now it might be that I messed up due to this side quest but as far as I can see this doesn't work so yeah this claim is false I guess one thing that I found quite funny to do in these videos is messing around with enemies like the coblins and luckily enough all of you supply me with enough things to test on them or with them and now we are going to look at another one stupid Lemmy gamer said that Sora weapons would do double damage when link is wet now I I had never heard of this but it does make sense I guess but he wanted me to find out if the same would happen with an enemy and so I decided to try this I came across this silver macawlin disarmed him and gave him a Zora spear so he could poke me with it now after seeing how much damage he did without water on him I decided to throw some Splash fruits on him but nothing really changed the damage was exactly the same and so I even tried this when there was rainy weather but nope still the same damage output so yeah as far as I can see this claim is false and I don't even know of being wet increases Zora damage at all now in the game there are two things that are incredibly strong the Eightfold Long Blade and the ancient blade both of these can be used to make amazing weapons that would give you a gigantic Edge in battle but what happens if you combine them well this is what Tesco wanted me to test would the blade last longer instead of Disappearing after one hit or would the slash be stronger due to it well I just decided to test it all and I noticed that some things work while others just don't it's a bit of a mixed bag when you hit something or an enemy the ancient blade is used and basically breaks so that isn't any different but the air slash is a lot stronger now due to the item that's fused to the weapon so that does work in the end some of these claims are true While others are false but still there are better things to add to this two-handed weapon boomerangs we have to experiment more with them of course all of you can't get enough of this stuff so here we are with another Boomerang myth one that has been on the list for a while actually and it's a good one flaming Cobra asked me to try combining a boomerang with a stabilizer which is an interesting request normally the Sona item can do some Physics breaking stuff so maybe it would do the same freaky stuff to a boomerang and so I went out there and tried it and the results were a bit disappointing nothing special happened sure it doesn't fly well anymore but many items can create this effect like a stone Talus heart so personally I was a bit disappointed so yeah it was not as glamorous as expected now this next myth sounded very promising if this fuse combo really works then it would be like a nuke Arrow because user Mercy 3L said attaching a cannon to an arrow allows you to fire a free like arrows in one so using a Lionel bow it would have loads of Firepower but once is this real it doesn't sound like it but hey I had never tried putting a cannon on an arrow so I did it and it had an interesting effect that I didn't expect I shot the thing and when it hit the ground it exploded and man oh man it was quite the fireball so yeah I guess this is like shooting three bomb arrows at once because its power was quite impressive and I can only imagine what it would do if I used a Lino bow it would be great for taking out enemies like Gloom hands so yeah I guess disclaim is true and I never expected the Canon to function like a bomb instead of a cannon but it does make sense all the explosives in it just went off at once creating quite the spectacle now we all know that in the desert the Gerudo are King they know the place well and if you're nice they will help you but weirdly enough they don't allow men into their Capital City even though you can buy some amazing goodies there sure a link is the exception but anyone else nope and grudo guards make sure you can't get in and if you mess with them they will even hit you but according to this viewer who has a bit of a gobbledygoop name you can Parry their attacks which sounded interesting so yeah of course I had to try it and so I went to Gerudo town with a mission to piss some people off now when I hit this guard she tried to hit me with her Spear and I was able to successfully Parry the attack although she did hit me again after which I didn't expect and so I tried again and I was able to Parry a number of attacks which was actually quite fun to do so yeah this claim is true it's not really useful or anything but it works now in old videos we have experimented with things that allow you to jump higher think of Springs rockets and bombs and in the end these are incredibly useful but do they have another superpower as well could they cancel fall damage completely or do you still die a horrible death well this is what Shelby was wondering about and so I decided to test it and I tried this by jumping down with all of them but in the end none of them could save me the bomb led to an explosion and death and the spring well that just resulted in death I mean it's useful but there is a limit to its power sure some Heights work but you still take damage but at some point it will just be too much meanwhile the rocket isn't really useful because you can't activate it midair so really you just fall to your death so uh none of these work which means that this one is false now this last one is a simple myth it's all about cooking and as we all know food is super important in this game really man I go through loads of food filming all of this stuff so anything that could make the process faster is just amazing and Samo had a way to make cooking Gloom resistant food a lot faster I mean at some point I will go back down there to test something and it's also handy for all of you if it's true so I had to test it pretty well now at first I tried this on the surface world and my testing method was simple I put a zonai cooking pot on the ground and made a Gloom resistant food item with it and then I did the same again but I put it on Gloom but when I did this I didn't see a difference and so I went to the depths and tried it all again but this didn't work either so at this point it was quite clear to me that this just doesn't work this claim is false which is quite annoying because stuff like this can really help me with making these videos but I guess I will get it done without this trick boomerangs a classic a true staple for this video series because man oh man each time we cover tears to the kingdom myths we have to cover at least one myth involving boomerangs it's almost like a requirement and today we will try to combine it with a different item found in the game to see if it will behave differently because user Izzy the bower asked me will attaching a seal to a boomerang create a Whirlwind like the Gale Boomerang from Zelda Twila princess well who knows and so I decided to test it in the past we tried to achieve this effect as well but sadly enough failed but maybe this will work and so I went to lurlin Village to find a sail to fuse to my beautiful Australian throwing stick now when I started waving it around it created a strong gust of wind but when I tried to throw it the same thing happened so in the end it does the same as a cork Leaf which can be handy but it doesn't turn into some sort of Gale Boomerang so yeah this claim is false it's sadly enough doesn't work in breath of the wild we had different powers and something like recall wasn't a thing in the game and so whenever cobblin threw a rock at you the only thing you could do to return it to the sender is parrying it with your shield and this also works in tearsity Kingdom but someone in my comment section known as Clark's World wondered if you could also Parry the Giant science rock thrown by a boss mccoblin well I didn't know if that was possible and so I found myself a boss but goblin and confronted him now as soon as he blew his horn and the mccoblin set up a defensive half circle around him I was ready to Parry his huge rocks and to my surprise this works incredibly well even though those things are massive but the damage they do is a bit disappointing they don't even break up the book of information in front of the boss even though that would have been a fun and handy effect but it does show that this claim is real which is pretty neat when Nintendo went into a new Direction and created breath of the wild we were introduced to a new evil group The yiga shikas Who felt like they were betrayed by the hyrulean royal family and so they started fighting for evil and one goal they have is getting rid of Ling the biggest threat to Ganondorf and usually they try to accomplish this by ambushing you and in tears to the kingdom they changed their tactics a bit one way they tried to trick you now is by putting out banana traps and then they will disguise themselves as a tree nearby now as soon as you grab it they will attack but is there a way around this well according to this user whose name is a jumbled up mess you can avoid all of this by shooting the banana with a flame Arrow which turns it into baked bananas but does this work well I tried it both from up close by throwing a fire fruit and from afar by shooting it with a fire arrow and I found out that doing this up close doesn't work but if you're far away it does work so disclaim is true although personally I will just fight the yiga for the extra bananas and rupees that he has the most feared enemy in the world of Hyrule has to be the Gloom hands they can come out of nowhere are very fast and deal a good amount of damage but if you manage to kill them an even scarier foe will appear Phantom Cannon a Gloom malice version of the dark lord himself and while he can be a bit of a challenge he does drop some amazing weapons but there is one downside if you use them you will take Gloom damage so in a way it's similar to the double-edged move in Pokemon high damage but you also get damaged yourself however someone in the comments known as Maximus said if you attach a Gloom sword to any other weapon you won't get Gloom damage which would be super handy and so I tried it and man oh man this works well you can easily create a very strong weapon and you take no damage at all although it seems like the blade will break quite easily so while it's good it is far from overpowered here we are again looking at the horses found in the world of Tears of the Kingdom because in this game they have a special new item the towing harness an attachment that allows you to pull around something like a cart or anything else really but what happens if you add a rocket to this that's what this viewer said in the comment section so I did it and the outcome was interesting I mean not groundbreaking but still weird the thing went flying and moved in a very weird way but the horse didn't care at all and didn't even move so while this viewer most likely wanted to see something surprising nothing too special happens when you do this this next myth was simple it was a little experiment with octo balloons another classic for these videos user glue mask said if you fuse one of these things to a shield it will allow you to fly but it's nowhere near as good as a rocket now as expected I went to test it and to my surprise it actually works link will hold on to the shield and slowly goes up due to the balloon which is really cool I never knew this was a thing and man oh man it works really well and sure it isn't the best thing out there but it can be handy in a pinch especially because you go up slowly so you have a lot of control due to the this unlike the rocket so I gotta say I freaking love this some of you are truly sadistic I mean I do some weird stuff in games but I don't torture poor creatures well unless you guys want me to and I guess pokely wants me to bully the Clorox in order to test a myth because according to this user if you hold a korok underwater with ultra hand then it will have a special piece of dialogue upon resurfacing however is this real or is it just a lie so that I will do horrible things which can be used against me at some point to cancel my career well let's find out I grabbed this poor defenseless korok and held it underwater hoping that it would try I mean confirm the myth but sadly enough doing this isn't really useful nothing really happens the korok doesn't react to the situation at all it just keeps saying that it's lost and needs to find its friend that's it even though it is at the bottom of a stream so yeah this claim is false and luckily enough the korok survived it all when Nintendo decided to go for a more open world and modern design with the switch titles they left a lot of concepts of the older games in the past for example the more linear structure Ocarina of Time Dungeon designs and special items and some people like this While others hate it personally I'm a bit mixed but I will say I did like breath of the wild more than tears of the Kingdom mostly because of the story and World building but not all things from the older games are gone and one question that superchomps had about this was can boomerangs still collect items when thrown well I had no idea and so I decided to try this with a couple of items but after throwing the thing again and again I could see that it did nothing and someone else also responded to this comment and tested it as well and came to the same conclusion so while this was a thing in the older games it certainly isn't in the new titles even not with rupees so yeah this claim is sadly not false it would have been really handy after all for some reason when they were rebuilding Hyrule after the great Calamity they also had to put up loads of signs promoting the company working on it all and it seems like they put one guy in charge of doing this Addison a guy who's dedicated a bit uh too dedicated but if you want you can help him all you need to do is keep the sign up so he can secure it now usually people create all kinds of things to make this impossible while some just use shortcuts like a hover Stone but is there another way you can cheat it well according to T-Birds a stabilizer katuta trick which makes sense it's made to keep things upright and so I try to do this but I noticed that it doesn't work as well as you would want sure in some instances it could work very well but often it isn't as simple and super effective trick that you would want personally I would say that using the hover stone is still a better idea it's simple and works really well so I would call this one plausible it really depends on the situation when you roam the land you can encounter unspeakable Horrors that will rip you to shreds if you don't watch out and like I said the Gloom hands are probably the most terrifying ones out there but can you kill them with a simple trick they are creatures made out of pure Gloom darkness and as we all know Gloom can be defeated by light and so Nitro the cat lover said what happens if you try shining a zonai light at the Gloom hands well uh I don't know maybe they die or maybe they freeze and so I went to my lovely boys to test this one now I put a sonar light on my shield so I could easily Shine the Light on them but when I confronted them I got absolutely owned they didn't care about my fun little NightLight they just grabbed me man I almost got killed testing this stuff so while the idea is good the Gloom hands don't really care about it so this claim is false one of the things that Nintendo introduced in tears of the Kingdom that I liked the most are the boss but goblins I like the idea of a commander of sorts that can give normal bokos instructions in many ways it makes them more effective but someone claimed something in the comments that was surprising to say the least according to Mercy three else if you shoot a boss but goblin with an ancient Arrow his bokoblin pack will start crying because he's dead now now when I read this I knew I had to test it and so I confronted this group and immediately shot him with an ancient Arrow as expected the big boy died right away and was sent to a weird Dimension none of us have ever seen and the Goblins were shocked then mad and proceeded to attack me however they didn't cry or anything so what was described by this person in the comments so far as I can see is false when I released the first tears of the Kingdom mythbusting video ever I tested something that I thought was quite funny would butter help with Shield surfing people loved the idea and especially the thumbnail for that video but now I am back with another interesting Shield surfing myth well I mean I didn't come up with it because Lily flake asked me does a bottle of oil make you Shield sir faster and when I read this I was instantly ready to test it and so I went to the desert the perfect setting for oil if you get what I mean and I slapped a bottle of oil on my shield now when I Shield surfed the bottle broke and I could actually Shield surf pretty well which I didn't expect however after surfing without the oil I could easily get around as well so to be honest I was quite confused I'm not sure if this actually helped me in any way the results as far as I can see were the same so yeah I think this one is false I even checked it real quick on grass when writing this segment and I could clearly see that nothing changed in this video we have already done some testing with Gloom weapons because they are just so powerful but someone in the Commons came up with another fun myth that I really wanted to test the user star storm said will enemies pick up a Gloom sword and if so will it also deal damage to them when they use it because in the game each time link uses it he takes some Gloom damage but enemies like the Goblins are made out of gloom and Malice so maybe it doesn't hurt them so what will happen well I went into the game and found myself a bakoblin who wouldn't instantly kill me with this weapon and when he hit me I took a good amount of damage but the bakoblin seems fine as far as I can see and so I allowed him to hit me a couple of times but when I killed him I could see that he took no damage from the weapon at all which makes sense Gloom obviously doesn't hurt them and so disclaim is true like I already expected now when I was in the desert I decided to test another myth I saw it in the comments and I thought it was pretty funny as we all know it's quite hot there and we have seen in previous videos that all kinds of things like ice will melt there over time but what about butter that's what this user was wondering about and so I took a stick of butter and put it on the ground and then I waited and waited and waited some more But as time went by nothing really changed the butter didn't melt or anything so while you would expect the butter to shrink over time it's not a thing in the game so while Nintendo loves to add all kinds of little details to titles like this they decided to skip the butter when it comes to this now the user who came up with the last myth which clearly didn't do much also suggested something else and I gotta say he wasn't the only one many people suggested this next myth what happens if you give an enemy a weapon with an ancient blade added to it and he hits you with it will you instantly die and disappear like all the other enemies when they are struck by this powerful weapon well who knows it would be really cool to be honest and so I gave the weapon to this red picoblin to see what would happen now when he hit me I took loads of damage but it didn't have any special effects I didn't disappear or anything so yeah I guess this doesn't work at all sure it does massive damage but I'm not sent to a different dimension sadly enough it would have been amazing if link was gone instantly like all the other enemies now that would have been a cool game over to see if I had to name the best new ability in tearsity Kingdom then I would most likely say fuse but recall is also pretty sick and really useful in some instances however someone came up with a trick that could make it even better Desi Bros said that you can actually shoot a sonar stake using an arrow and then recall it this way you can pull items and things towards you now when I read this my mind was blown my third eye opened and I was excited if this was real it could be amazing for so many things like Dungeons shrines and helping koroks but is this real well I decided to test it on a couple of different things like rocks but each time I shot it the stake would disappear so it seemed like it wouldn't work however when I used it on other stuff like the ground it worked very well so the results were a bit mixed it isn't the one-trick pony you hope it is because it clearly doesn't work on everything but on some things it's beyond amazing and can really help you out in a pinch so trying it is almost always worth it especially if you can skip stuff with it heck maybe it's even useful in speed runs it wouldn't surprise me but I guess only time will tell now I have tested a lot of myths involving the Gloom hands the big new threat seen in tears of the kingdom and while many have claimed that they've found a way of easily defeating them none have ever succeeded but this time we are testing one that could actually work because according to this viewer all you need is a claymore and Elemental little foe's tale and all you have to do is combine the two and start spinning this way you can defeat a Gloom hand super quick but does this work well I tried it with a different two-handed weapon but still it was incredibly effective and basically killed all of them very quickly so I must say this worked very well because it just unlocks them although my execution could use some improvement when you go to look on Landing you will at some point see that there are a bunch of ritos flying around the place circling the camp forever never stopping it's a bit weird to be honest and I have no idea why they are doing this but someone in my comments said that you can mess with them in an interesting way because the dark Ender said if you shoot the flying Rito at Lookout Landing the arrow will Ricochet off of them now when I read this I was curious how would they react and do the arrows really bounce off like that in a lot of cases like this arrows will just pass through them doing very little so what will happen well when I went to look at landing and decided to shoot Dorito with my bow a couple of times I could immediately see the arrows flipping and spinning because they did Ricochet so it was clear to me that this claim is true and they even get a bit angry and confused when you do this clearly they don't like it even though they aren't really hurt by these pointy arrows weirdly enough in the past we have experimented a lot with enemies they can do some interesting stuff which we already saw in breath of the wild I mean I can still remember in 2016 when I went to the Nintendo switch pre-launch event that the Goblins can use almost anything around them to kill you heck one picked up an explosive barrel and threw it at my mate celtek which shocked all of us and now in tears to the kingdom we are once again testing what these buggers can do now that things like sonai devices and fused weapons are a thing and Willy suggested something for me to try he said what happens if link gets hit by a weapon fused with a muddle Bud because in game this confuses enemies and so they attack each other but what will happen to our hero link well I fused this beautiful flower to a stick which actually looked quite nice and then I gave it to this book hoblin and once he hit me the model bird went off and the bakoblin was instantly hit by the effects of the model bird meanwhile link was fine he wasn't affected by the item at all which is actually something we've seen before when testing other items so disclaim is false our strong and mighty hero doesn't really care which is a bit disappointing combat could have been so much more interesting if plants like this could be used by enemies and would have a weird effect like inverting your controls but nope sadly enough Nintendo didn't add this in the past I've covered some simple myths when the game was only a month old and so many didn't know about them with the most important one being about the bomb Shield one of the best fused items in the entire game but this wasn't the only option out there you could also use a spring for this but then someone in my comment section came up with an interesting idea what happens when you use a bomb shield on a spring would it make you go higher at all well who knows maybe it combines the two in a way and so you go incredibly High into the sky and so I decided to test it first I set up my spring and then I attach the bomb to my shield so I could jump on it and when I did so I noticed that this doesn't work at all the spring doesn't activate and one time it was even destroyed by the explosion so really this is just a waste of resources and you're better off using just one spring that you put on the ground as you can see standing on that and activating it goes much higher than a bomb shield now sure bombs and springs are fun but there are other options out there for going high into the sky heck I even found new ones that I had never heard of even though the game has been out for months now and so I am willing to test almost anything so here we are again testing another Shield fuse combo that could send us High into the sky or save us from Fall damage because user Linwood Harrell said could the water bubbles from the water temple save you from Fall damage since it does give you a bit of a bounce when you Shield surf on them and so I venture to the water temple to give it a shot I got myself a bubble and tested it but first I I jumped off a small height it worked well the bubble does give you a bit of a bounce and so I decided to jump all the way down with it but then I realized that this doesn't work at all I instantly died due to fall damage so yeah we still haven't found the ultimate strategy well unless you use the upgraded Glide armor set now I gotta be honest the next claim pissed me off so much because it was borderline hell to test it required me to try again and again and each time I couldn't pull it off man oh man this was one of the most frustrating myths I have tested in a long while and it's all about dropping down from the sky and arrows because user the fluff said try catching an arrow while falling from the sky like you can do with star fragments and dragon parts and so I decided to do this now I did this many times so much actually that I was about to throw my controller because man this was hard and while I did come close to the arrow multiple times it never gave me the option to grab it but I had to get that Arrow so I kept trying and trying but each time I failed and couldn't grab it so yeah I gave up at some point and as far as I can see you can't catch them the game just doesn't give you the option and doing it is also stupid hard and very frustrating the amount of things you can do with bombs is insane you can fuse them to weapons or arrows to deal explosive damage to your foes you will fly into the air if you combine it with a shield and so much more but when I was browsing the comments of the most recent video or at least one of the most recent ones I came across an interesting claim because the user every man said that cooking bombs actually makes link explode and I had never heard of this I mean a normal person would never throw an explosive in a hot pan but hey we have to try this in the name of Science and I mean if it goes wrong it's luckily enough in a video video game and so I went to the cooking pot that is found at Lookout Landing and I threw a bomb inside of it now I was prepared for hell but to my surprise nothing special happened sure it turned into dubious food and it did create a bunch of smoke but this always happens and even when I threw in a couple of other ingredients I still didn't get the explosive experience I was promised so sadly enough this claim is false even though it would have been funny if we saw a small explosion each time I make one of these videos there are a couple of things that stick out to me you guys and girls love a couple of types of myths a bit too much mostly stuff involving boomerangs and the Gloom hand enemies you guys love to talk about them and so as expected we are going to visit my little handsy friends on the grape plateau again because someone suggested something interesting now as you can see this comment is pretty darn long so I will simplify it a bit now what Mason says here is that enemies made out of Gloom drop dark clumps and these can be used to increase Gloom resistance but what happens if you shoot them at Gloom enemies will it deal extra damage or something like that well I had never tried this so I gave it a shot but I quickly found out that my Gloom hand friends don't really care within no time they tore me to bits and no matter how many dark Clump arrows are shot at them they didn't stop so yeah it doesn't do anything special in the end you're better off using it for food and elixirs instead of shooting them one thing I loved when the Nintendo switch Zelda games came out was the realism you know all the little details that were added think of improvising enemies the weather mechanics the realistic way fire spreads and also the fact that you can feed dogs found at Stables but now someone in my comment section has come up with something fun what happens if you give the dogs a bone for example the arm of a steal enemy which you can collect after you defeat them well in order to find out I got myself a Starbucks Goblin arm and went to a stable to give it to one of the dogs but when I was there and tried to offer the bone to the dog it just became scared like so many other NPCs in the world it's clear that the dog knows that he must not mess with this thing because it's filled with dark magic or could lead to trouble and so no matter what I did he just ran away so it's clear that this claim is false now when I read this next myth I thought it was genius it's an idea that could work and if it does then it could change everything one trick that many of you know is using the hover stones to keep up the signs that Addison is placing around the world it's a classic and I even covered it in this video but someone came up with another clever one I've tried using stabilizers before but my results were a bit mixed in general it didn't work but once I tried that someone came up with a way to improve it just combine it with a stake the viewer suggested combining the two and sticking it to Addison's sign and then when you activate it the thing will remain upright I thought that this was very clever so I tried it but sadly enough you can't connect a stake to the sign so really it doesn't work sure you could use this in a way but then you're just building a special zonai device to achieve your goal it's not the one trick wonder that the hover stone is so this claim is false Soni devices are weird these things can have some crazy powers that have never been seen in the Zelda series before and in my opinion the most mysterious one is the stabilizer which always stands upright no matter what you do and this can be handy for a number of things which you can see in some of the shrines but this user whose name I can't pronounce said that if you attach the top of a stabilizer to another it will fall slower than usual when activated now I had never tried to before and I bet the effect it has will be interesting because we are borderline breaking the game so I tried it and as expected the effect was weird very weird if you connect two of these they will stay perfectly horizontal and so they can lift anything with ease no matter what you do they won't fall which would be immensely handy when building loads of things and when you add the stabilizer when one of them is already active you will see this weird falling action so this claim is actually true which is really cool as I have mentioned about 5 000 times I get loads of boomerang myth submissions so many of you want me to keep messing around with this specific weapon type but I will say this next claim involving the boomerang was especially good Prince Nocturne said if you attach a feathered Edge or Eightfold to a boomerang will it have a different effect and so I went out there to test it now I will say The Feathered Edge wasn't really worth testing but I had high hopes for the yiga blade but when I created this weapon I noticed something strange while you would expect some sort of wind Slash from it this doesn't happen at all the boomerang looks really cool sure but it doesn't have a special effect at all which is super disappointing can you imagine how cool it would be if wind slash has started flying all over the place hitting enemies left right and Center this would have been super cool but sadly enough that's just not the case which means that this claim is false now of course this wasn't the only Boomerang myth you silly I got like a billion more to cover and this next one was also very unique so I decided to add it even though we already hit our Boomerang myth quota because Charlotte commented if you attach a pine cone to a boomerang and then shoot a fire arrow at it it will create a fire tornado now when I read this I thought it sounded really cool so I gave it a shot but there was an issue hitting the Boomerang with a fire arrow is basically undoable and even when it seemed like I hit the boomerang nothing happened so I tried to do it again but this time I used a campfire to light the pine cone but when I did this it didn't have the desired effect sure the campfire roared and the boomerang was on fire but I didn't see a tornado or anything like that so as far as I can see this just doesn't work I used both fire arrows and the campfire and both didn't yield any desirable results so disclaim is false this next one captured my attention instantly it's a claim that makes sense and could work really well in the game one of the most fearsome foes out there is the glioc an elemental dragon that is incredibly powerful mostly due to their enormous size and Elemental beams that they can shoot from their mouths but is there a way to counter that attack well someone in the comments section came up with an interesting plan you forgot the pickles asked me if if a mirror Shield will reflect the elemental beam of a glioc right back at them which was a thing in older Zelda games like Ocarina of Time and so I tested it I went to the Coliseum and confronted the glioch there and as soon as he shot his beam I blocked it but the beam didn't fly back at the gliac it stopped it but not for long and so I took some damage and had to flee afterwards and I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed in Nintendo for not including this it would have been so much fun but nope this claim is false now another thing we have experimented a lot with as well is fusing things to a shield to improve Shield surfing or its combat capabilities and we are going to look at another one of these because if it works it could change everything Lizzie French said is there an item fused to a shield that would allow for surfing on water for example frozen meat Sapphire or ice blocks now this idea is genius in my opinion imagine if this really works it could be Beyond useful and so I went on my way to find a body of water so I could test this and I started with the sapphire Shield which didn't work at all and so I grabbed why Chuchu jelly which also didn't work at this point I was losing hope but I knew I still had to try the ice sheet as well so I created one put it on my shield and tried it with this one a couple of times but again it failed it just doesn't work no matter what you do which was disappointing to say the least alright alright I have to admit this list isn't full of completely new myths sometimes I retest stuff if the comment section asks me too and in a previous video I tested a myth involving Ryu because apparently if you confront her with one of the plushies found in a room she will say its name now when I tested this At first she didn't seem to care and didn't react to me no matter how many of the plushies I tried but apparently you need to fuse it to your shield and then if you show it to her she will finally react and so I did this and to my surprise it did actually work so the people in the comment section were right and I just messed up it's cool to see that this claim is actually true instead of false and this is also why I read the comments because all of you lovelies come up with good new ideas and points of what could have gone wrong now foreign the final myth it's all about one simple thing zonai batteries because someone in the comments section made a bold claim that once again made sense but who knows if it's true turbo Tangerine said that if you attach a large Stone eye piece to a Zone I build it will make the battery last longer now since Soni batteries are made of this material it could actually work but as we all know we gotta test it and so I took the trusty beam cycle and added a normal size battery to get her with a piece of large sonai to it now I wrote off on the thing and saw the external battery slowly drain and kept an eye on how long it would power the bike as soon as I ran out I put another one on the bike but this time I didn't include any zoneites now when I did this I saw that I ran out of juice just as quickly which proved that the piece of zonite didn't do anything so yeah it was clear to me that this claim was false now those were all the tears of the Kingdom myths we have done a total of 200 which is insane thank you all so much for watching the videos be sure to subscribe click the Bell button check out the other videos I have done a myth busting video on breath of the wild and Super Mario 64 so go check them out and I also want to cover other stuff so yeah stick around and I'll
