I Built a JETPACK in Minecraft Vanilla

yeah i'm going to make a working jet pack in minecraft and then use it to prank youtubers at the end of the video let's get started so here's the jetpack model i made in blockbinch and here's what it looks like in the game but this is where we come across our first issue for whatever reason in minecraft you can actually change the models for armor and since armor is the only thing you can put on your chest we can't actually put the jet pack on our chest however you can use the head slot to put any item in the game on your head so if we change this to a phantom membrane that's coated to look like our jet pack there we go but there still is one issue which uh you may notice by me looking around which is that it is stuck to my head not to my chest so as long as we look forward no one will notice so what i think is going to be easiest is if we make a way to that every time we right click this command block runs something so we're going to use a scoreboard objective that keeps track of every time we right click however it only keeps track if we right click with a certain item and in minecraft my hand is not an item but luckily for us if we use a carrot on a stick that is an obscure item we can change in our resource pack and it actually works with the scoreboard so for example if i get a carrot on a stick and i turn on this command block every time i right click with the carrot it will tell you to subscribe well wait that just dandy but it's nice as it is to constantly tell people to subscribe i think it would be better if this instead gave us levitation test number one it's working and while that's great and all it's not very visually appealing so i added this button it gives us a jetpack button to hold and puts a jetpack on our back look at me go i right click the button and i start zooming look at me go now while this is cool i feel like there's a lot more stuff i could add to this for example fire particles now watch this we'll get our jet pack oh it works first try oh look at this oh this is so cool this actually just looks so much better it gives you a lot more intel on like how it works too it's easier to control i like this a lot but you know what looking down at all this fire i'm starting to feel like this is a little too quiet horse noises three two one oh that's so loud why is it so loud oh i don't like that okay that's much better that's much better it does actually sound a lot like a jet pack although i am noticing something which is that if i'm in survival mode i'm pretty much dead oh look at that i respawned at the quicksand and here's the side of our million sub special live stream but i want to add a feature so that whenever you're in survival and you try to land the jetpack actually stops you from dying because what's the point of a jet pack if you can't actually go down and only go up you know so this command block will give the slow falling effect to all players with air two blocks below them that are wearing a jet pack so if this works properly let's get our stuff let's go in survival and if i go up real high and fall it should give a slow fall oh look at that oh that's so nice so gentle of a landing but you know i feel like we could give this some particles and sounds too boom horse breathing sound effect at a lighter volume boom ash particles everywhere whenever you're falling with air two blocks below you and since we check if air is two blocks below us that means if we just walk off one block or run around the jetpack actually doesn't do much but the second we make a big jump over a gap it turns on the thing three two one and we give it a fall look at this oh it's so gentle it's so calm oh look at this school big jump oh this is so cool it like shuts off if the ground's right below you safe to speed break you gave me a material from the looks of it you did a very good job with that block i get that was a little unfair you didn't seem to have a jug pack you have a jet pack race how about
