I Built a FLOATING CASTLE in Minecraft Hardcore!

well you guys absolutely loved it the first episode of Minecraft hardcore survival so we're back we're playing it again and I'm I think I'm fully addicted now if you haven't seen the first episode don't worry I'll catch you up to speed basically I started a minecraft hardcore world which means that if you die once the world gets deleted the world is locked inside hard mode which I don't realize but it's really hard anyway I've been doing a little bit of stuff off-camera the first thing was to collect loads of wood just some miscellaneous resources as well nothing big ice melted some ores I think that might have been it oh no oh no wait actually I found these bad boys right here that's right this took me I want to say like an hour at least to find just these four diamonds or diamonds it took me one hour I mined all the way down to bedrock underneath our house and I've found a pretty good space to get some resources so I thought why not chop these down with you guys so there's one two three and four there we go so for diamonds in total not bad now this is good because one I needed all of these resources to be able to build what I wanted to build today which is our house now in a hardcore world things get pretty I'm lost I'm lost look all this mine I've done by the way look strip mining galore it's absolutely crazy yeah for a hardcore world we're gonna need a pretty decent house and I want to layer it with traps so that if anything does try and get in it's not even gonna make it towards me and it's just gonna be killed so I'm gonna try and make some kind of simple trap house obviously we don't have access to stuff like sticky pistons which would be beautiful for a trap house but we're gonna try out some other things too wait is it is it night art nighttime of course it is I also mined this out as well I just want to add some stairs to it to make it a little bit nicer to go up and a bit safer as well but for now it's looking okay I just heard something yep I definitely heard something okay cook run run run come on because currently I'm living in this little shack and it's terrifying at least the guy the guy got the message from last episode and has stopped sleeping in my bed which is perfect right what I want to craft today well first on the agenda let's check that the the village is okay exciton any husks ruining my village of friends cuz they're the only friends have got okay but their shovel down with these diamonds I want to make actually four is perfect cuz I can make a diamond sword and an enchanting table and all of my sugar cane as well is growing like a beast so we can do that start enchanting things with our levels you guys okay over there weirdos oh no plus husk attack husk attack come here you ah ow what do you just hit me with you kidding me yeah actually could do that I did not know they could affect you of that and this guy's taking a bus okay that reminds me I need a bow where were you where were you to help out our friends huh oh Jesus a creeper as well love these guys love these guys a lot weeds got lots of cats just to get rid of these because they absolutely suck you guys are just gonna watch her that was gonna go on who's gonna watch me get battered by the street why why do these exist I'm just gonna leave that hole there grab my sugarcane and get out of here we're gonna need so many books I need to grab some leather as well are you oh yeah this is satisfying out here cactus Oh other thing on the agenda for today is going to find some more diamonds cause before I go into the nether which I was going to do today before I go into the nether I 100 percent needs at least Diamond Dharma because this is just getting a little bit too too crazy last time we go down to half aha and I almost died first episode so I don't want that to happen again right this is all the goods that I've got actually over five diamonds that's not bad 22 gold there's some more gold in here more iron in here as well so we are absolutely stat right now I've got some smooth stone and you'll see why I need that in a second I'm actually gonna put that all up here cuz I want to build like a little castle thing and I also need I need to borrow the woodcutter from somewhere where is it I know it's here somewhere they won't mind to be moving it I'm not gonna steal it just move it I promise what was a noise I don't like that I don't like that at all wait wait before you were you're the Mason perfect do I have any more clay to trade with you actually my horses are yeah the horses guarding it right I'm gonna steal this they won't mind they literally what mine tell him it wasn't me okay it was not me don't cutter going near my bed which is a little bit worrying actually it's kind of that's a bit dangerous and hurt wanna cut anything important let's put all of this stuff in here I got some more iron to smell that is all geez oh I actually have enough coal to fill this up good I also have a lot of redstone which is good too because it means I'm actually gonna be able to make something decent could do with some more arrows but for now let's make a let's make a diamond sword cuz I feel like that's gonna be really really handy one of those lets gets upgraded oh baby oh yeah sorry iron sword you're outta here look at it the new texture for it is amazing as well oh I'm stacked I'm ready to go watch out zombo's I'm coming for you so my plan is number one build a bridge number two build my house on there the reason I want to build it up there is because I can look over at the village but I don't want to be in a desert biome so I'm gonna be right on the edge with a drawbridge it's going to be great now I want to learn how to make a camp where wait you can't make campfires do you just have to find them but you can make them you just need one piece of coal and also some sticks which I have I'm gonna make some actually yeah see why did that not come up why did campfire not come up all it comes up now hah comes up now great you make me look stupid over here actually gonna make some more of them so I feel like I'm gonna make four because I feel like these would be quite good for the bridge that I want to make so let's see if we can make four of them for campfires and I common before I saw this but someone made its a so I made a bridge out of campfires and actually look pretty awesome I've also never used or created a campfire before because I haven't played one point-four but here we are we're ready to go got a skinless cat dude you can have some burn what Oh anyway where should I make the bridge I feel like across here would be pretty nice or near the village yeah I think across here and I'm gonna go right into there so if we start the bridge like let me grab one piece of sand real quick so if we do this how do you unlight it I don't want it to be lit stop being lit it's gonna hurt if we yep yep yep that's gonna hurt out what what is going on here is it's gonna break now I think it's gonna break ow it did oh I wanted to go here there we go so what you can do is you can place like three across but I don't quite know how to put them out the smoke looks awesome but how do I put it out maybe if I grab a buckets then we can make a cool-looking bridge but I'm gonna need a lot of these so I'm gonna need a lot of coal which I don't really have that looks so cool it really does but I'm gonna have to put you out I'm afraid let's see if it works that did not work did it physics Minecraft physics what vine I'll try putting it one higher go this is that's not how physics works Minecraft sapphire I can't just deflect water like that okay oh okay I was thinking about it too much you just need to literally do this yeah see that's a bridge that's a sick looking bridge so what I'm gonna have is a bridge across which is gonna be protected as well because obviously I want to make it into like a trap house but I think that's gonna look really cool when it's all the way across I'm gonna need quite a few though I'm gonna need 3 6 9 12 15 18 30 campfires to get across so I better start saving up and then we're gonna need a way to walk up to the to the house which is gonna be perched up here so I can overlook what's happening in the village and I think this is just a really cool space for a house and it's on a hill so anything that tries to attack me it's gonna have to get up the hill first which is gonna be borderline impossible alright let's sleep I don't want anything hurting me or my friends ah beautiful right let's make a bridge 30 campfires oh my goodness that dragging her dragging your llamas around anyway this is what I've got so far I am a terrible builder so that's why I want to use this series to kind of get better I like the campfires I just don't like the outside even though I've made all these slabs now I don't really know what to do with it so let me just fiddle around a bit more with it and then we get to the actual house okay okay I actually like this I think I might be done with the bridge guys the bridge looks okay now what I want to do is well when I get some slime balls and there is a swamp nearby I think on this map I want to like loop some leads across I think that look really really good now all I needs to finish it off is some lanterns and I think you need torches and iron nuggets so let's go grab some iron nuggets real fast which you've got plenty of I need four of them so that should be pretty easy and then we can start building the main house this is this is taking way longer than I thought it would actually to build the bait house soon I'm gonna get rid of this too this whole platform here we go where do I put it though I could put it on top or besides I can't put them beside okay never mind on top it is look my buildings not the best but with ropes I think this will look pretty good so that's our bridge for now cool little fence gates in between just to make it look a little bit more I don't know interesting and to let the dolphins jump over maybe but now I need to build the main house which is gonna require the a stone cutter and the smooth stone that we used before now I'm not gonna terraform this yet just because it's gonna take forever but I do need to grab all of my stuff to be able to make this it's gonna be a top a really really tall section of this so you're gonna come across the bridge and then I'm gonna terraform this so it's really hard to get up for mobs and then I can see literally everywhere what's going on so I think I might grab some grab some dirt start to plan it out and then go for the stones so bridges complete I think it looks pretty dope let me know what you think and let's build the trap house even though I'm not sure what the traps are actually gonna be yet Oh cacti I was just gonna make loads of bushes but I think cacti might work better just because it's got spines yeah let's grab cacti let's do it I don't know how to grow cacti but um let's grab them anyway let's do it there's loads around here 33 I think the way you grow cacti is is by putting on sand right which I don't have any of but I did bring a shovel to get rid of this plateau of lands just because I feel like it's in the way so let me grab this then we can start building our building our house done time to sleep that looks much better and I'm gonna also make this look smug and look much cooler as well because it looks trash at the moment but let's sleep and now it's time to build oh and also this is how the stonecutter works I haven't actually used it before but I think you put it in here and then you can just kind of make the stuff that you won I don't know if you can turn it back though let's have a look oh you can just chisel it into something else okay I want to make it mostly have stone bricks but we'll see this guy keeps hurting himself because he's a straight idiot but that's how it works hopefully this guy survives otherwise I'm stealing here which I always want it to be flat so I can look out we got a little spiral staircase which I haven't actually made before in Minecraft but I think it turned out pretty cool I just want to light this up real quick I will choose better decoration but for now it's gonna have to do so lonely nasty is appearing up here just for now we've got this bit too which I also need to light up just in case cuz the creeper comes in here I'm gonna be mad annoyed I got no um I think I might do the spiral staircase all the way down but I've got a ladder for now and I got this area in here so where is the Sun I can see the Sun when it's gonna set I'm actually gonna go and grab my bed right now and I've decided that I'm going to make its pretty ugly actually I didn't realize it was that ugly I want to try and make a floating castle and the way I'm gonna do that is where I think it's magma blocks anything that allows it to make bubbles with water and make it all the way from the bottom I'm gonna try it anyway so let's grab stuff for a infinite water source there we go two buckets let's grab the bed so we can actually go and sleep there tonight that's right we're doing it we're doing big things describe this subscribe this and let's see we can do it I want water running out from the bottom and then bubbles from the bottom of that and then I'm gonna take a massive chunk out from the bottom to make sure it's floating then that hopefully means that the only way up is through the bubbles through up here and then nasties won't be able to get me which is perfect so I'm gonna put a door in here eventually but for now it don't matter I'm gonna sleep I think top floor no not top top floor I'm gonna sleep for now here and now we need to make the bottom so let me think about how I'm gonna do this water source here there there we go and then we just need to make a big hole underneath this which I think I should be able to do but you're gonna take a lot of uh take a lot of iron it's gonna take a lot of everything and a lot of shovels to be able to make it so I just need to make it the same size as this okay so hopefully you get the idea eventually this whole thing will be hollowed out but I just want to check that it works and apparently we need soul sand soul sand needs to happen right now so that means inevitably we are gonna need some we're gonna need some obsidian which I'm a little bit worried about we should be able to get it but we need to go to the nether that's what I'm worried about not the obsidian ears Citian is fine well let's grab some obsidian and then we should be able to go to the nether just to grab soul sand that's literally it and then nothing else that's all I'm gonna grab I don't want to mess around with any Pigman any ghasts any nonsense and I think down here there is a little lava pool where is it it's in one of these old columns here actually I think it's here yeah there it is okay let's make sure it goes down just need to oh my goodness it's like everywhere I just need to open this up so I can actually make obsidian actually what if I just find the edge this is risky so risky I shouldn't be doing this on a oh no oh no okay this is bad this is bad this is really bad why are we doing this in hardcore whoa okay this should work right I just need a pool of lava well why you why are you coming up here why you getting all crazy huh I enchanting table as well because we have the diamonds to do it too let's just through the obsidian the soul sand and then I think my floating castle is gonna be complete I might need to place a few more of these the stone bricks but apart from that we're good this is taking me way longer than I thought but hey we're gonna have to go to the nether today and hopefully we make it out alive otherwise I'm gonna be pretty mad and it's daytime score look at it it looks so weird when I get mossy cobble I think you'll be good to be able to put some of that in there maybe some cobblestone back dude where's the soul sander and I can't believe I'm doing this just so that I can get myself a floating castle that's literally it I'm not doing it for any other reason I'm here for soul sound and that's it that's my goal he's done down there how high am i there's no soul sand up here at all down there it's gonna have to be down there isn't it right I'm gonna play this super safe because obviously we're in hardcore we don't want to die over here and if a piggybank kills me as well and we so upset but i shouldn't be that stupid minecraft hardcore is actually terrifying and I know helpful basically I need to dig out all of this so it's flat with my flat with my bridge here so that I can just rock up walk up to it and then take the bubble elevator up so I'm gonna do that okay turns out I messed up you cannot do it unless there's air above it so because my house is above it I wanted it to be like a solid stream but doesn't it like I'm gonna be able to do that so I've drained it all even though it took me like an hour to do and I'm just gonna stick with this block right here this is gonna be the bubble elevator to the top are you okay buddy I mean this guy's gonna die so I think I need to do is place a single piece of a soul sand in here it's actually light this up just so we don't get cured that'll be great and I need to control the water on all four sides for this to work otherwise it's not gonna it's gonna look awful and I'm gonna have the same issue and I think this should work whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa calm down do I see bubbles I don't see bubbles okay let's build a column either side okay let's see if this works so put that down that should go all the way to the sole sound right but I ain't seeing no bubbles why am I not seeing bubbles down here so finish the house so I'm back about three hours later ready to finish this now there's two things number one I fixed the bubble elevator I'm gonna show you how I did it number two I'm an idiot why didn't I just make this above the hill first off I was going to make it on top of the hill but then I didn't then I wanted to make a floating car so my plans change and now I have to literally carve this whole mountain out but then I remembered we spawns near a desert temple and I know where that is so I'm going to take my horse go and get the TNT and blow up this mountainside now we are in hardcore so that could be a terrible idea but I'm gonna try it anyway now first off bubble elevator how do they fix it well I took out all of the water in here I made ten buckets and then I just did it one by one so I got into the tube and then just did it one block by one block by one block and then the bubbles and now take me to the top how sick is that that's I just need a way down that's the only problem right now is I don't have a way down but it works right I need to grab my horse and get the butts outta here but yeah if you guys have an idea for how I can get down I guess magma blocks would work right because that sucks you down bait give me an idea that'll be perfect now let's grab the horse the horse with no name and that's right over to the desert temple now I'm gonna have the map in my off hand just because yeah we got time just because I want to fill this map up and I'm pretty sure it's this way to where the spawn was if not I'm gonna get lost it's like very very lost blocks being absolutely everywhere this is uh this is a phenomenal idea I need it to be like pretty level from here so let's put another one in the middle of this I think it's the stone the stone blocks it pretty well has a better blast radius that hardly anything so I have a lot of sand which means that I am gonna be able to make some more TNT if I have the gunpowder for it but I don't think I do but let's go and find out shall we 2100 okay I can actually make this yeah that already looks so much better let's blow up more of the left-hand side I'm pretty sure it's like this right we can make four more yeah bloody those creepers came in handy okay I'm gonna blow up this side now forgive this this was an experiment Avast watch out brace yourselves don't block this I'll thank goodness top and let me just get rid of those dirt blocks there we go and the house is pretty much done I just need to move all my stuff over as well so I'll this staircase I think I'm just gonna make the spiral stairs all the way up because that'll be way better and oh yeah I need a way to get down which isn't doing that because it's a little it's a little bit risky I don't like dying hardcore when
