i bought 1st edition Pokémon cards...

what's good gamers i am so excited and absolutely terrified of today's stream i'm so so scared i'm so scared i have a fun little surprise from a youtuber that a lot of you probably know of and i'm extremely excited i got this box sort of a mystery box and i sort of so i know some of the cards in here or some of the packs i don't know any of the cards at all but i know some of the packs that are in here so we have some first edition team rocket boosters and we have some base set two boosters as well and then he was like i'm gonna throw in a couple other things in there as a surprise so i don't know what those are i also don't know if these are if these have been weighted and if they're heavies or not this is all i've opened there's tape on the bottom of it and stuff we are going to be joined by the one the only chris melberger he got me into pokemon and i only thought it was right to have him here alongside us while we open the most expensive pokemon cards that i've ever bought i'm extremely excited but i'm way more nervous than i am excited to be honest i mean i don't know if that's true actually i'm it's probably equal and here he comes now chris yo dude are you excited bro i really cool because they're all like the uh the cg pokemon from the game we got psyduck oh my god this is so cool he's gonna join the discord in a minute uh he's got no way he's with puppy right now so are you going to open all the first editions you think are you doing x amount until like a certain goal or something i think i think i'm just going to open all of them to be honest we got snubble these are so cool looking we got another psyduck we got another charmander and ooh an arcanine that's cool what set did you say these next ones are chris legendary heartbeat and you're gonna do two to the back for those two to the back okay so we have 20 of these packs and then we get to the the main event well we'll do the should we do base set two or team rocket first um probably right what if you what if you mix it up you do like a few team rockets then base set to sub sub and then a little bit working rocket then like a jungle and then like ended with team rocket yeah adding to the call hello hello hey what up dude you didn't you didn't have to do all this for little me oh of course i i had to make it an extravagant occasion i can't open these packs my hands are too sweaty uh two to the back yes i think so one two don't take my word for it i was i was trying to remember myself [Laughter] uh so i do want to say for these packs you're one of you want to look out for amazing rares okay which you'll notice when you see it because it's basically like a fruit loop box it's very very bright and colorful it's very cool looking so i'm going to try to watch while watching your stream so i can see the cards from your hand cam oh wait what do you got i got something i don't even know what this is oh good old zygarde that's so cool kind of like perfect sale from dragon ball z this is so cool there's no uh there's no energy in these there's energy in the stream though and that's all i could say thank you very nice that was really good we got the little old lady got the the main state flower which is the pine cone which i don't know if i consider that a flower but whatever nice electric i think it might just be one to the back maybe not or not it actually it might just be but it looks like there's a non-holographic rare bee drill yeah and then you got the holographic uh zero aura there too so it's okay you know starting off a little warm but i like the uh pacer going these are these are so cool though and i love it because i can't read them that's the best part you just guessed the names so much mystery oh yeah what are you opening chris i'm just opening some cosmic clips that i found chris have you pulled the brakes in charizard are they confirmed to be in vivid voltage do you think well i guess i'll find out uh tomorrow of course oh this card is so sick nice oh colossal whoa back to back baby we got oh yeah what's the thing that's the thing that's so cool the legendary heartbeat set is sometimes you hit like a double pack like that that's so cool can i get the um rainbow blastoise from cosmic eclipse or is that something else yes you can yeah i think it's i think it's three to the back with these and i i saw it we've got something good in here nice not sure what it is yet these are these are japanese right yeah cool this card looks sweet i can't wait for the old school packs to be insane i'm so excited i can't wait till you get to the base at two packs because you're gonna get that charizard potentially jungle packs jolteon and then of course that zard blastoise and dragonite from those rocket packs it's gonna be very exciting man the the misprint or the error dragonite thank you guys so much i'm i'm yes i didn't even think about that that card is like worth well over ten thousand dollars if it's in perfect condition which card i was just talking to chat real quick it's the team rocket there's an air card for dragonite and it's a holographic card that was not holographic basically so we'll tell you more about it when we get to it but it's a dragonite card from team rocket tell me more about it once i pull it yeah but when we get to the main event right now we're just pulling each other's legs i'm just gonna be like there's no air card and you're just gonna send it to chris and i and we'll take care of it for you cool cool yeah i got you i'm trying to breathe through my cards just so i can see what you do yeah i have to say selling and they're they're upfront about it but people selling proxy cards and i really i i don't really understand why they're going for as much as they are going for because like they're fake and it's known that they're fake when you mean the proxy card they're retirement just like custom made cards specifically what i was seeing was like first edition uh charizard that looked legit but they were like hey this is a fake card but it was literally going it was going for the bid at the time was like no it was up in the thousands it was like three grand that this one card was up for so i don't know if it was people just not reading it not like not reading the title of the uh not reading it and just uh bidding on it and then they're gonna do like once they find out it's fake oh i'm sorry my cat walked on my keyboard yeah it's it's crazy though like even known fake cards are are going for money oh yeah overall overall the uh i feel like the i accidentally i put three in the back uh getting pretty high up there yeah i'm gonna i'm gonna go back and sleeve all of these especially the first editions if you get a squirtle i expect very big excitement because that's oh oh i wonder ooh a base set two okay base set two first charizard first get a charge card i'm gifting you 50 subs sick if i get a charizard i'm going to go crazy because i'm honestly saying i have not pulled one really is a cool set because it's a combination of jungle and base set the original base set not all the cards from each set but like a little combo and uh you know it's the same thing when i was a kid i used to think that base set two stamp on the right side of the card was like a second edition stamp but i'll let you take it over go ahead oh nine we got arcanine the boy seeking enlargement good condition and the centering looks fantastic so show them back to us real quick basically what makes this card special is the fact that if it is in like perfect condition there's such a low population of them out there wow that holographic is gorgeous dude that's a pretty big one so congrats on that from a graphic design perspective i love how that you can see the r in the shadow of the uh guy too it's like it's like a nice nice artwork there we go that's perfect look at that dark magnet beautiful it's a gorgeous one oh my god probably the best pool i think so far that card that's card's uh selling for so much money because the pop is so low as a 10. what is it selling for right now it's listed for 15 000 uh and then uh another one's listed a 9.5 back it's listed for 8 800. that one's probably more so a 9.5 beckett but you never know could get psa 10. so beckett is a bit harder than psa right yeah because they give like mid grades so they give 7.5 8.5 and then they actually let you know like four sub grades of your card like how the centering is how the corners whitening you know all that other jazz and i kind of like that though it's kind of nice i like that even all the um the starters just because it's good to have yeah it's good to have all those yeah so the magnets on it looks so good the centering looks fantastic honestly i don't know i don't know if
