for being here today because i can worship you in spirituality too and virgin i remember when i was 25 and a man was in on 55 i didn't go to church and he was sitting on the roadside and he made us clean and in turn that someone told him i said kid you turned up he said we must go in i'm in myself at that age listen in myself me a young youth i'm your big man i know that i just said that if you do anytime you never know i never knew but since became a big man may understand we cannot follow them we can't follow them [Music] for god is about love and if god never showed me love nothing we wouldn't be here today and i'm telling you um when you're in christian and satan knowing that you want to serve god and you after he devil after you when you are served god when he have you and he his people when he was teaching them he said abide in me and i am you and it's very simple sentence but for me it means much because in these times brethren you know for this week i have found that you know when you want to pray that you are being you feel like you're being stopped when you want to read the bible you're falling asleep and brethren you know um i came across second corinthians 10 verse 5 corinthians 10 it tells us for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of god and bringing them into captivity every thought to the obedience of christ and brethren when i was reading this you know it it just reminds me you know when i'm you know these are the things that we you know god has called us from sin and we're not we may not be doing the sins that's stated in the ten commandments because we we know that we are christians but then the enemy comes against us in different ways you know and those ways brethren they are the things that can block our christian life they can block the way we interact with um other people they can block our relationship with god because when because as we know that god is a spirit and all those that worship him must worship him in truth and it's and jesus tells us from you know in the scriptures when we read them that the imagination of man's heart is wicked so you know you might see a brother or sister that's dressed in a godly way and he will say oh she's a true child of god but you do not see the heart only god sees and he searches the heart and he knows the heart and brethren if we you know i for myself if we want to be true to god if we want a closer connection with god then we have to be honest with ourselves and say what is it that is tripping me up what is it that is holding me back why when i kneel i can't cry why is it when i see my sister there is something that rises up in me sometimes we say my spirit can't take that person what spirit is that because the spirit because my bible tells me that you know god is love and whoever if someone hates you if someone has done something evil against you whatever they have done to you whether they have stolen the innocence of your use there should be love you know you should not be walking the other side of the road you know why do we have envy you know there are so many things you know it talks about the imagination of man's heart you know people have written books on the imagination of their hearts you know that there are books that are written about um the old davis complex you know there's so many different things that evil man's hearts have come up with so many evil imaginations that goes through the generations you know the we have new age religion that has come through the evil imagination of man's heart you know we envy and we think we do not envy you know if you if you used to speak to your sister or your brother every day why is it now that you do not speak to your sister you know why is it that you walk on the other side why is it that you have excuses you know we have to remember that our god is holy and he is coming back soon and brethren when i speak to you i'm also speaking to myself because brethren i realize you know that you know if someone hates you it's not just a one-way street if you remember and the scripture tells us this if you remember that someone has something against you and it's not just when you have hated against someone when you know that there is a discord disunity before you kneel down before you offer god your sacrifices afraid before you offer him your sacrifice of fasting before you offer him your sacrifice of praise you need to reach out to that brother to that sister and you need to make peace you need to say i'm sorry even if it's not your fault you say i'm sorry and then you leave it at the cross because brother you know i'm realizing more and more there is you know no one there's no one on earth or in heaven that can stop you from serving your god except for you because you know salvation came from god and you know it's and he wants us to be saved he wants us to be like him so you know when i said that you know abide in me and i in you that is the only way brethren that we can be close to god that is the only way that we can overcome envy that is the only way that we can overcome strife that is the only way we can overcome malice you know and quite often we say i don't notice anyone i don't know i don't hate anyone but brethren you know the bible tells us if we have hate in our hearts we have committed murder and revelation in my bible tells me all murderers shall be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone you know our god is not partial just because you you know he has called you you have accepted his call and maybe 20 years 30 years 40 years it doesn't matter what god sees is the heart and now what he sees is your walk with him today this very hour what he sees is and he wants to see his image reflected in you and brethren and i've said this before but some people say no you we need to be perfect before our god we need to walk before him in holiness we know that god is holy we know that he is blameless we know that he has no iniquity and because we know this and because we know that jesus died for us jesus shed his blood on calvary for us then we owe him do we not owe him to live a holy life do we not owe him is his death in vain did he die for us and you know brethren i can see that it makes jesus sad it makes me sad that i have lived a careless life because i have you know i was brought up in a church i was brought up in the church but i sinned and i let god and for many years i did my own thing for many years i didn't care but you know and because of that i ended up in all sorts of and sinful and shameful life you know in in the end i was even ashamed to come back to god because i said that i have done too much i have gone too far but you know my bible tells me that when our heart condemns us that our god is greater the bible tells me that it's jesus that died for me it is jesus and he tells me that when i believe in him brethren that he will he washes all away all my sins this is what the bible tells me and brethren we need to make our salvation sure we need brethren to stop playing with god because that is what we do when we flirt with sin when we dip in and out of sin when we tell ourselves we don't have to be perfect we are then telling ourselves well if i tell this little white lie then it doesn't matter because god is a gracious and a merciful god well my bible doesn't tell me that it tells me in matthew 5 48 that jesus himself he said be perfect even as your heavenly father is perfect and i see that jesus would not say that if it was not possible he would not have said that because he knows that we are man but how he's given us instruments he's given us tools that we can be perfect he says to us you know in red ink you know it's in um john 15 he says abide in me and i in you and for those you know if you're asking the question what does that mean then i can tell you it means to keep his commandments jesus says that in other parts of the bible and if you love me keep my commandments you know the one duty that we have and it seems that every time i come up to speak i say this and because this message can never be old brethren if you think that this is repeated so many times and you know sister liz should be talking about something else then go back to the apostle when they told us peter he said be holy if john said be holy you know and james tells us to be holy you know brethren be holy for our lord god is holy for he is coming back for you and for me he's coming back for a bride that is spotless he's coming back for a bride that where there is no spots on her garment he is coming back for a bride that is holy in their mind he's coming back for a bride where our thoughts are pure and holy it tells me in my bible that if we do not have a pure and holy mind then we cannot see god that we cannot see heaven and that is not what jesus wants us why did he die on the cross why did he allow the soldiers to punch the nails into his hands why did jesus allow the soldiers to nail his feet to the cross why did he wear the crown of thoughts on his head brethren why did jesus die for you and for me and there is no sin that is too great that his blood cannot wash away brother let not the blood of jesus be in vain let not his death be in vain remember jesus remember that he died for me and you my jesus died for me and he set me free there are some that my family gave up on me my family used to call me a sinner there goes whenever they introduce me it was there is the sinner but jesus had mercy upon that sinner jesus has delivered that sinner from death jesus has broken the gates of hell jesus has destroyed the words of the devil brethren surrender to jesus submit to his authority and breath when when we walk in the spirit then we know we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh and it's when i stay the lust of the flesh is not just meaning the fleshly sin what we always think of it is meaning the lust of the world the the um everything that we lust after you know brethren it means these things jesus is coming sooner he is coming soon can you truly say that you are ready can you sit truly say that you are ready to meet your maker can you say that you are ready to meet jesus what will you say to him when you stand before him what will you tell him what tale will you tell him i was reading also about elijah you know we know elijah is a mighty man of god but there came a lot a time in his life when self came into play and he said he was hiding in a cave and god asked him the question what are you doing there elijah and he started to give a woeful tale how jesse bell was trying to kill him and he said i am the only prophet i am the only one you know that was self-speaking he had forgotten all the mighty things that had gone that jesus god had done in his life it wasn't him you know and what he said you know god didn't even answer him god simply told gave him the instructions for the next things to do and god said to him anoint a jailhouse and anoint elisha to be in your state because god cannot work with pride he cannot work with imperfection he cannot manifest in our lives if we are carrying sin if we are carrying hate if we are carrying malice and enemy he cannot manifest in our lives brethren we are the church of jesus christ when i say that i mean that we are the children of god we are redeemed by the blood of jesus then we need to live as he made us we need to live and walk in the authority of the cleansing blood of jesus christ and brethren let me tell you that there is there's no principalities of powers as paul said that can take us away from from god because who is greater my god is greater my god is greater jesus tells us he has overcome the world jesus tells me that he will be with us until always always not sometimes but always until the very end of the world brethren but in order to forgot to manifest in our life in order for us to experience the god of gods and the lord of lords then we need to abide in him we are stopping our own blessing we are the ones that are picking up the blockades we are the ones that are stopping god from manifesting in our lives brethren when we kneel down and pray then we just need to submit submit to the higher authority of jesus christ submit to the will of god when we were in sin we used our will to live a disobedient life when we were a sin we used our will to do what we pleased but now we say that we are the redeemed then we need to live the life of the redeemed and it is possible to be perfect it is possible you know because um god said job was perfect and job was a man just like me and you you know so it is possible but once we tell ourselves the the tongue is like we are prophesying to ourselves is if we tell ourselves we cannot be perfect then we will not be perfect because we will always find an excuse you know we will always find an excuse why we cannot be holy we will always find an excuse why we cannot live up to god's standards this is not pastors standards this is god's standards you know and pastor god has blessed us with a pastor that that is of his own heart where she reminds us that we must live a holy life and brethren if we want to see jesus when he comes whenever that might be it might be tomorrow morning it might be within the next hour we do not know we must live holy brethren and just as second corinthians were saying we must bring every thought into captivity in obedience before god almighty because it is these thoughts that will lead us down into hell and many times even fear have you ever seen anyone that's paralyzed with fear because i have you know when they are paralyzed with fear they cannot move they can see danger coming towards them but because fear it takes hold of their mind they are frozen fear can your life with god fear can make you um that there's all kinds of things and these are one of the strongholds that we need to break down you know and when we find that we cannot pray or read our bible these are um the instruments that the enemy will use but then we just need to lighten up on our belly and cry to god and say i want to pray i want to fast i want to read your word but lord i'm finding it difficult you know and god will guide you when you when you immerse yourself in his word when you go down on your hands and your knees and search for those precious pearls in his word you know further and further away you know the enemy will see because the closer we come to god the closer he will draw to us submit your will to the holy lord god almighty submit to him and be perfect before him and he will manifest in our lives because i'm sure that is what we all
