we're going to keep standing we're going to pray one more time praise god but we give god thanks that we could be here on the first day of our holy convocation praise god i'm going to pray and i'm asking that we all center our hearts to him don't look at me many are saying what is he doing up here but i'm not bothered about that but i have to declare this because if you're seeing me you won't see god i am a servant of our king and there's always a time and place for everything so you could stare at me little more it's okay we're gonna pray in jesus name heavenly father god who sits high on the throne god your name is worthy above all other names god you are high and lifted up god and your train will fill this temple oh lord as we come into your presence another time god we are looking to you knowing that you are an almighty god knowing that you reign and you rule supreme heavenly father as we come let our hearts and minds be focused on you let our will and desires be of you order our steps o lord order our minds o lord let self be slain o god and let the enemies be scattered oh god as we come again god we ask in your name that you will pour out your spirit upon each and every one o god lord let our coming not be in vain let our meeting not be in vain but oh god we ask that you will come in and dwell in our midst heavenly father this is your house this is we are your people and god no devil in hell will stop us of god from raising up our praises to you god i pray you silence the mouth of every adversary god those who are not to speak let them not speak those who are not lifted up to god glory to god you know say to god if you're sick call for the elders of the church pray to the god he is able he's the greatest physician i tell you why i'm standing here today you i tell you last year dude i got a stroke and here am i today and i'm healed from my head to my toe it is god and you know just trust him continue to pray my strength in jesus name thank you jesus giving god thanks for mother mackenzie evangelist mckenzie and those wonderful words we know that god's a healer of our body and of our souls amen not only sickness but of sin he has healed all of us that's man you may rescue you may save and as i was singing the scripture came to me matthew 13. the scripture matthew 13 came to me whilst i was singing and in the scripture god was talking about he was basically likening the kingdom of god onto other things and he was telling them a lot of parables but the part that got to me was the ending because when brother stefan was talking and he was talking about not looking at the person that's given the message but focusing on the message itself it says some poor fainting struggle struggles team and you may rescue my save and if we look at each other on what we do and what our past is we won't get through and we won't get our blessing so when i was singing this scripture came to me and it said from verse 53 and it came to pass that when jesus had finished these parables he departed thence and when he was come into his own country he taught them in their synagogue in so much that they were astonished and said once has this man this wisdom and these mighty works is not this the carpenter's son it's not his mother called mary and his brethren james and joseph and simon and judas and his sisters are they not all with us once then have this man all these things and they were offended in him but jesus said unto them a prophet is not without honor saving his own country and in his own house and he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief and i'm asking god because this is the first day of the feast i'm asking god that when we come and when we hear people preach expand on the words when they sing whatever they're doing that we won't focus on who is singing we won't focus on who is preaching we'll focus on the word that's been given and also those that are getting the criticism and those that people are talking about we need to be very careful too because when you're doing god's work people are going to criticize but when i'm reminded of in the bible with um moses and the israelites were so uncreateful and it was saying to moses that they would rather be in egypt and in and there rather have the cucumber and the garlic and when you look into that they were saying that and because they were literally god used moses to take them out of egypt and yet they're complaining to him so rightly so he should be angry but in his anger he then he struck the rock and he said drinky rebels and because of that he couldn't make it in so we need to be very careful in the house of god when we are getting criticism because even though the people are criticizing us they are still god's people you know when i was also reading the scripture it was talking about the wheat and tears and it was saying that the wheat and tears grow together and they don't want to take up the tears because we might take up some of the wheat also but the bible says when the harvest comes he is going to take the wheat into the barn and he's going to burn the tears so if right now you think people or that's the same it's from what we see we don't know anybody's heart but from what we see if we feel like we're among tears god said that if he doesn't do it now when judgment time comes and when harvest comes he will do what he has to do i'm just asking god to help us that when we come into his sanctuary we won't take it for granted so many people have died so many people can't move so many people can't are not breathing so many people are on their deathbed but we have the opportunity to come into this house and yet we sit on our praise i'm asking god to help me and also brethren when we're coming into church let's not wait until later on to get our blessing let's not wait until next saturday comes thursday friday today our blessing because the same god that is here today is the same god that's going to be here next week saturday pre-adventure he comes we shouldn't wait until later on in the meet later on in the meeting to be like okay i went later on to the meeting to get my blessing i wait until later on a meeting to get my whole to get the holy ghost i went to a later in the meeting to get to get healing who knows if you'll be here we need to right now we need to launch into the deep and it's the very it's the very first night of the feast and when it's the first night of the feast we don't want the burdens that we have today to be the same burdens we have next week we need to leave it at the altar now we haven't got any time to be here and they're laboring on with our burdens laboring them with our trials and then on next week saturday we're praying for the same burdens we need to let it go now so that tomorrow all we have to do is worship we have to focus on our burdens we have to focus on our troubles we're not focused on our trials but our whole main hearts desire it won't be to leave our burdens at the cross it won't be it won't be that but to give god praise and honor and glory please pray for me in jesus name he that ever heir to hear let him hear what a spirit of god saying to the somewhat ours many may block us somewhat for us but i would not be denied [Music] i don't care how many times i'm gonna pray about it i don't know i don't care how many times i'm gonna fast about it i don't care how many times i'm gonna burn it i would not be tonight i would not be denied till jesus comes and he makes me whole i stephan paul will not be denied church of god we will not be denied i will not allow the enemy to deny me of what's mine heaven belongs to us the bible says the earth is the lord and the fullness thereof and us that dwell therein so whatever we put our faith to whatever we put our hands to whatever we put our minds to it will prosper we're not funny or silly people church we're not we're not little it's time for us as apostolics to rise up and claim what's ours we have power over every adversary over every while of the enemy we would not be denied till jesus came and makes us whole i would not be tonight praise the lord jesus praise the lord jesus praise and i give out to the spirit of god my mother and pastor and ministers evangelists household of faith in the mighty name of jesus truly i'm giving god thanks that i am alive and willing is present tonight just to magnify his holy name amen god is truly a wonderful god amen thank god that he's our awesome god and then i thank god i is my father praise the name of jesus thank god that i can call upon him at any time anywhere at any hour praise the name of jesus you'll see my son when i call on god he will come to my rescue amen as their brother was even exalted we were singing a song i would not be denied amen so many things we wrestle with in our life eminent so many things that try to stop us from getting our blessing and we have to be fighting left right and center as our debris was saying that we wonder why we have to go through this fight why this has to happen why me we asked the question of time being children of god why this happened to me why did i fall in that in that trap why did i do this why did i do that but that is the devil's plan to try to block us from getting our blessing and remember when we make it up in our mind amen when we had the faith as a mustard seed to say to myself that i would not be denying praise the name of jesus because we are working for a prize amen we are working to make heaven our home and it is not easy to get to heaven you can get to hell easily do what you want act how you want say what you want dismay how you want and you've been held but to get to heaven it is a straight and narrow road and if we want to make heaven our home we have to know that we have to deny ourselves that when we deny ourselves we said god heaven is my home heaven is in view and so no matter what distraction may come our way no matter what storm may pass our life we would not be denied saints of god take courage say to god hold on say to god we have a better home in view no matter what test you're going through you will overcome no matter what test you're going through you will win why because what our savior cannot lose he's already won the battle for us so we just have to fight to a war that we are going through because evidence of god bless sing with this song with an assurance saying that god is real and i know and i'm sure and i'm positive is real you know brethren last week i think it's last week saturday something happened in church in the fasting and a sister was saying something and she was explaining herself i have to testify this because i know god is real and brethren i turned and i look at the sister like this because i said within myself there are certain things i don't touch certain area i am very careful i don't touch certain area and bredrin i was i forget all about it this morning i dreamt saw the sister and when i saw the sister the sister is like i stepped i stepped on the sister toe i didn't realize that i stepped on her toe this will help somebody i was trying to go to the sister but i didn't get the time to go to the sister that the sister went after the sister went i woke up out of my sleep i said god have i offend this sister have i done something to this sister i prayed and i leave it i said to myself i am gonna see the sister i didn't came to church tuesday night i didn't came wednesday night but i came last night um i came here thursday night so this sister the sister was trying to see me she couldn't see me as well today i was at the back and i was preparing and then the sis i called the sister i said to the sister come here i dream saw your eyes step on your toe accidentally but i didn't realize i stepped on your door and gradually when i spoke to the sister and said what i'm supposed to say to this sister believingly bridging the sister say yes it is true she said that i want to come and see you and i was waiting for you and i couldn't see you and she went into the toilet and i said actually i'm gonna approach her and i went and i approached her i called her once that and i said hey to them and bridging believe you're not believing not the sister accept everything and say yes it's true what i'm saying god is real sometimes you do things and you don't even realize that you have done something to someone and instead of the person having fear carrying them hard and have it against you but the person accepts that is true pray my strength because my heart and desire is to be true to god because i know god don't accept any and any sacrifice your sacrifice has to be real your sacrifice have to be true from the heart because you desire truth with the inward part you happy [Music] [Music] i say psalm 108 say all that men might praise the lord for his wonderful works to the children of men i'm out of the barnes and into the freedom praise the lord you know it's uh at many times in our life we are in bondage and then we get into some freedom you know when you grow as a child many times you feel like you're in bondage because you're under mother and father's rule and then when you get a little older you feel the freedom of your age and a lot of times we make a mistake when we have too much freedom but i will say that really is a reality for me you know on thursday night i was speaking we were talking about something that i was speaking about i experienced and growing in christianity and through my life you know we all come different ways and what one person might think is right and proper after a while you'll find out if you look into the word that it's totally wrong so that's why that is a reality to me because i see myself that at one time i was yet in bondage but now i'm free and i feel free in my worship you know to go to church and to feel the holy ghost move and to sometimes even i'll say i i would stifle it i would hold it in sometime because i was afraid what some on the right or the left would say but thank god i'm free so i give god thanks i greet my mother and pastor always even in our absence and uh with all the love and admiration that you can ever give to a person and i greet each and every one of you my father's children in jesus name just very shortly i want to say uh been looking at that scripture in jude that we are using as a convocation theme and it's a good scripture and one thing i can say about mom even thursday night when we talked about things in the bible study she always pointed back to mercy i forget what verse it is but down to the end it says uh some do something with mercy and compassion when i think about her that's what i think about it mercy and compassion because it said love covers a multitude of sins and in this time all we have been through brethren for two years two years not one but two if you don't want to praise him i will i know god been good to me to be able to get through the red tape or whatever you want to say and make it through the air and come here god be good even though we had to go through things even though we had to take tests and pay money and do this and do that but yet god is good yet god is good so surely not to hold it down all i want to do is sort you tonight is to open up it said that our theme is content for the faith when i came in sister kelly gave me that mustache so small i had to wrap it in a piece of tissue not to lose it and it said that if your faith is even as the size of a mustard seed you'd be able to say to the man removed you know when you think about that thing you can't think about it with a car of mine because you can't tell a mountain to move not naturally but i know that we all have had our mountains mountains whether it was sickness or get your papers or a job or money whatever it was that was a mountain and if you had enough faith to believe god moved that mountain and it got out of your way so this evening be free in your freedom praise god let's raise god high and contend for the faith and if we do he will not deceive us god bless you praise god praise god i didn't do this earlier but i brethren we're only on day but we know that there is a race that we must run and there's a victory to be one we're asking god to give us power every hour to keep us through this time i just want to the spirit of god are past the saints visiting friendship with you all in the mighty name of jesus someone just sang the battle is the lords amen in the book of kings i think it's kings 2 6 the prophet was surrounded by an army and the army was outnumbered his host and the young man says lord we're going to die we're all going to die here but the prophet says lord opened up his eyes that he may see i got opened the young man's eyes and the lord opened the eyes of young man listen carefully and the lord he's looking which is not your eye but he can't see but when the lord open your eye is a difference and the lord the prophet prayed first lord open my open my eye i said god open my eye my eye lord now what am i looking for you see see you must know what you're looking for you can't just look but what are you looking for that he may see see what that he may see as the lord opened the eyes of a young man and he saw and behold the mountain the mountain the mountain bridge was full cannot feel the pain so the spirit which is god himself the all-divine almighty creator put on flesh which is jesus christ because when they were shed in the blood for our sins the priests had to go once a year into the holiest of the holiest when we said we had to bring and sacrifice so we had the blood of the heifers the turtledoves and the bullets he had to take blood to wash away our sin but next year the priest had to come back again to do the same thing so god had to put away with the tradition we have to put away with tradition and let the spirit move many times we enter into the building and we pray god have your way god is having his way but tradition is saying we shouldn't do this now we should do that now put away tradition and let the spirit move so he had to take blood to wash away our sin so the sacrifices that we were doing it was not good enough it had to be an ultimate sacrifice we couldn't do it the priests could not do it because when i say the priest could not do it is because they had to tie a rope on the priest or when they go in to the holiest of holies with bells and if they didn't hear any shaking that means the priest has died in there because his heart wasn't ready so god had to put on flesh had to come among us to offer up the ultimate sacrifice so when he was on the cross blood had to shed so while he was on the cross he was still in heaven he died so that you and i can have life and have it more abundantly content for the faith the scribes and the pharisees many people sometimes i talk to people and i personally tell them that jesus hasn't got the answer and when i tell him that he hasn't got the answer sometimes they look at me a little bit weird but i said jesus hasn't got the answer jesus is the answer because the scribe and the pharisees the ones who know it all that's why sometimes it's not good to know too much that's when you know too much you start to use yourself not depending on god anymore the scribes and the pharisees were looking for the answer the answer came was standing right in front of them and they could not see this is why i say jesus don't look for jesus to give you the answer look for jesus is the answer he is the healer he is the savior he is the deliverer he is the mighty god he is the everlasting father so when they were looking and he came they said give us barabbas we don't want the answer give us barabbas that's a good word to put give us the murderer and kill the savior what are we saying tonight what i'm saying content for the faith know in whom you believe know that the god
