by god's mercy while we stand here today so anytime i get the chance to praise him anytime i get a chance to come into the building into the sanctuary i will lift up my hands and give him thanks for all that he has done for keeping us in our right mind for sustaining our bodies from every sickness from every disease he is a good god i want to ask evangelist dixon to come and render a song to the the lord it has been a trying time and a trying year for people all over the world let me tell you something just very brief last year i went to death's door i closed my eyes and i viewed death three people appeared to me and they are dead and i know that they are dead because i buried them and i tell you i was in a state of unconsciousness the ambulance came to my house two times they said there is nothing that they can do for me at home they have to take me to the hospital when i went to the hospital i heard that people were just dying so i said i'm going home i went home and i told my wife boil some ginger boil some garlic crush it and give me the drink for two weeks i couldn't eat for two weeks i couldn't get out of the bed my son who was here last night was two years old at the time he came in the room and i heard what he said and couldn't talk of good then but i heard when he said daddy not well he laid his hands on me and in his own little language he said a prayer for his dad and at the end of the prayer let me tell you something at the end of the prayer i heard what he said in jesus name a little child two years of age i couldn't eat before but by now that was a saturday by the sunday i told my wife i said i feel a little bit hungry she cooked me some my favorite brown stew chicken with some mashed potato and she put it in a little bowl and said see if you can manage that by the time she came back into the room and finish it all up i come to tell you tonight that there is power in the name of jesus i'm gonna take [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and they told us that um samson again and i was thinking how god used him and he was used by god and he was a blessing to many people and he was chosen by birth but when he put himself in the position where he put his hands into inequity then that's what god left him and i remember in 2018 myself and some my family and some friends we went to israel and i was looking about how the mountains were actually around israel and i was looking to from the scripture says as the mountains around about jerusalem so the lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever and god can never lie what god says today means for tomorrow yesterday and in the future so my encouragement for it is that if you are in god stay in god because the next verse says for the road of the wicked shall not rest upon the law of the righteous so if you're living right you're seeking god and dying daily you're fasting and praying and you're trying to live up to your standard of god's holiness the word of the wicked shall not rest upon you but then it carries on to say lest the righteous put forth their hands onto iniquity if you look at david david was a mighty king baby was used by god and god was talking to him daily but when he put his put both his hands onto inequity when he saw that the woman was bathed and he lusted after her and he killed urea for his work then he put his hands on to iniquity and what came after that was bitter for him and wrecked in his definitely suffered because of that and my encouragement brethren is to make sure that we do good and that our righteousness and so that the wicked will not rest upon us help us that will be righteous and continue to live right this is the theme is content for the faith and as we've heard in the meeting that we can't contend for something that we don't understand we can't contend for something that we don't know about so even if you don't leave this meeting with a blessing leave this meeting with a new mindset that you leave ready for god to amuse you you need freedom for god to fill you you will you leave ready for god to be you you'll be ready to be in the vessel for god that's all i pray for that i will die daily because it's easy for me to talk and like i passed away said let me point these fingers are pointing back at you it's easy for me to talk and to preach and to encourage and lift up brethren but when it's for me i need to ensure that i do the same because my righteousness is like filthy right to god but it's just for god that he is my my aim and my desire is to ensure that i live up to a standard where god can use me live up to his standing that on that day that my body will be quickened that it will quicken my mortal body that i can reign with him forever please pray for me please keep me in your prayers while i
