right back and your offline screen. To be able to go ahead
and get you started. So let's go ahead and dive in. So the first thing you're gonna want
to do is you're gonna want to go ahead and have your OBS studio open. If you don't have OBS studio, I'll
put a link in the description for you to be able to download it. It's a free software. So once you have this in place, the
first thing we're gonna wanna do is you're gonna wanna set up our scenes. Our scenes are gonna be the
different scenes that you're gonna switch to when you are streaming. And sources are gonna be the things
that you include inside of that scene, like your webcam, your gameplay, etc. So let's go ahead and set up our scenes. First, we'll go ahead
and press the plus icon. And the first scene we're gonna have
is our, starting soon we'll press okay. Then we'll go ahead and use
the plus icon again, and then we'll name this countdown timer. Okay? And we're gonna set up all our
scenes first, and then we'll start filling them in with the sources. Then we're gonna go ahead
and name this, be right back. Okay, then we're gonna go
ahead and say stream offline. And then you're also gonna have a just
chatting and then you're also going to go ahead and have a gameplay scene. Okay, so we'll press, okay. So these are gonna be all the
standard scenes that you're gonna utilize when you are streaming. So let's go ahead and start
filling them up with some sources. Now the sources are gonna be the
overlays that you went ahead and got. Now, if you don't have any overlays,
eye lights to go ahead and use Stream Designz where they have tons of
animated overlays, countdown timers. And things that you need to make
your stream look professional. So for this example, I'm gonna go
ahead and utilize the Lux package. That's gonna include everything
that I'm going to need. And I'm also going to get the
countdown timer overlay lux. So I'm gonna put a link in the
description for Stream Designz if you don't have your own overlays. So once you have your overlays, we'll
come back here into OBS studio, and we're gonna come to starting soon. And we're gonna go to sources. You're gonna press the plus icon and
we're gonna go ahead and use media source. For animated overlays and image for
static overlays, meaning non-animated. So because this package is animated,
I'm gonna use media source. I'm gonna name this starting, I'm gonna
press, okay, and now it's gonna go ahead and ask you to find the overlay file
that you went ahead and download it. So I'm gonna hit browse. I'm gonna come to my desktop. And then if you downloaded the
package from Stream Designz, that's gonna come in a zip file. You can see that we can't click it. You have to unzip it for, it's to
create a folder like this so you can have access to the overlays. If you've never unzipped a file
before, just simply go to Google, type in how to unzip a file on Mac or on
Windows, and then it'll guide you and you'll have a folder just like this. It's gonna have your panels,
your alerts, your overlay screens, and your webcam overlay. So we're gonna come to overlay. We're gonna go ahead
and use starting soon. We're gonna press open and then you wanna
make sure you select loop because it is an animation and we don't want this to
end after the few seconds that it runs. So we'll press okay. And you'll see here that our
starting soon is now available. So what we'll come here is we'll
simply lock it so that it doesn't move. And now we have that in place. Now we're gonna come to the
countdown timer on their sources. We're gonna press the plus icon. We're gonna come to Media Source cuz
it is a animated countdown timer. We'll put this as timer, we'll press okay,
and then for the locate file, you're gonna hit browse and then you'll come again. Same thing, you'll get a zip
file from Stream Designz. The countdown timer is not
included in the package, so you do have to get it separately. And then once you unzip it,
you'll have a file just like this. We'll open it up. And here we do not wanna select
the loop because we want them, the timer ends for us to be able
to transition to our next scene. So press okay. You'll see here that our
countdown timer is now running. We'll go ahead and lock it. And now we wanna go ahead
and do be right back. So we'll go ahead and use the plus icon. We'll come to Media Source. We'll name this B rrb. We'll press okay. We'll locate the file here and we'll
come back into our package and you'll see here on the overlay screens
we have our B right back screen. And this you are gonna want
to go ahead and use loop. Now your B right back screen is utilized. Anytime you need to go use the
restroom, you need to step away. This is a scene that you can put up. That way your viewers are still able
to be watching something as opposed to a black screen or just an empty chair. So we'll go ahead and
put that at slot there. And now we want to go ahead
and do our stream offline. We'll come to the plus icon,
we'll come to media sources. We'll name this offline, you'll
press okay, and then under locate file again, you're gonna come
and see your offline screen. You'll press okay, and then this. You are gonna want to go ahead
and use loop and now you see here this is your currently offline. This is a scene that you switch to
when you get ready to end your stream. That way that when you end the
stream doesn't just go black. Your viewers can still watch something
here, allowing you to do some final touches, respond to people in chat
and say, thank you for watching while this scene is actually playing. So we'll go ahead and end that there. Now we have our just chatting scene. So the just chatting scene. You'll press the plus icon, you'll come
to Media Source, we'll name this chatting. You'll press, okay, and then
here you'll locate file. You'll hit browse, and then
you'll see here that you have the just chatting screen. So we'll go ahead and open this up. You do want Select Loop and the just
Chatting screen is a great scene for you to be able to utilize in between
games in the beginning of your stream to just engage with your viewers. Or at any point in your stream
when you just wanna focus on engaging with your community. So the center screen is
where your webcam's gonna be. Your top right is where your gameplay
is gonna be, and the bottom right is where your chat's gonna be. Now, another video, I'm gonna show you how
to go ahead and set up the just chatting. Because it does have a few additional
elements, but right now the next scene that you want to go ahead and set
up is gonna be your gameplay scene. Your gameplay scene is where
you're gonna spend the majority of your time when you're streaming. That's gonna include your webcam, your
gameplay, your overlays, your alerts, your chat, all these elements there. So go ahead and watch this video right
