so you want to make some more money with your AI art well today I'm going to cover a few different ways you can sell AI Art online now in the past we've covered things like print on demand or using it as part of a service but going to cover here more direct methods where you can sell your AI art or sort of methods within your AI art to make money online and produce hopefully a bit of passive income the first place I want to mention is prompt base which is actually not for selling the art itself but the prompts if you have prompts you like to use or formulas that you think could be useful you you can actually sell those prompts on prompt base itself and some of them only go for a few dollars but you can actually sell a ton of these pretty easily and quickly cuz they're so cheap and they have a full marketplace that people can explore so you don't have to it's well it's good to promote your prompts you don't necessarily have to go too crazy as it is a Marketplace and people can search and find what they need and it works across a number of platforms and on top of that you get about 80% of the sale whereas some marketplaces do take more than that so it's a great place to start and if it does pick up it could be a nice passive income generator if you have a lot of prompt or prompt formulas you like to use another place people are making money with AI is actually Etsy you can sell printablees or images and graphics on Etsy or pretty much anything digital uh or even set up your own PR demand business there so Etsy is another one you can go to and basically start pretty quickly but just remember like any of the Avenues in this video there's always going to be a learning curve depending on which one you choose so do invest some time learning the platform in the best ways to sell and promote your products now you can also sell across various stocks sites but a good way to shortcut that is to head to wirestock who are the sponsor of today's video and they can distribute your AI art to various platforms such as Adobe stock or deposit photos and many others and why stock does all of the work all you do is upload and it will tag and describe everything for you automatically it's very easy and straightforward to do you just need to make sure your images are upscaled and high quality you can also get your own portfolio right on y stock so you can sell your images directly or you can even create Collections and packs that you can sell together and you can even include the prompt of your AI art with the image now you get 85% of the sale and Y stock take a small 15% cut which is pretty cool considering all the automatic tagging and the convenience of the service now according to wirestock the best selling air is things like backgrounds and textures animals and Wildlife food and people and if you don't have an AI up platform or a mid Journey subscription you can actually generate images right within yock itself using that image generator it uses stable diffusion sdx XL 1.0 and when you are done it'll actually upscale and you can submit it all right on the platform now also there's some cool features there such as reimagine which allows you to reimagine image with a different style and also mix images so you can actually merge two images together pretty smoothly now when you sign up with the w stock you can sign up for free and you can try uh five trial generations and submit five images otherwise if you want more sign up for the premium AI plan which is what I recommend allows you to have 200 Marketplace submissions and challenge submissions and you also get 200 monthly AI Generations so you can perfect your images up to 400 upscales with this plan so it allows you to do a lot more and increase your odds of making more money on the platform so check out y stock there is a link in the description below along with a discount for viewers of this channel just use a coupon code Wade 20 now back to the video now while I have quickly mentioned print on demand at the start just remember that it doesn't have to be t-shirts and stickers you can also sell art on places like red bubble Society 6 Zazzle things like that so you can actually go ahead and sell art prints and Reach people that way and that's another thing you can do with Y stock as well is sell framed art prints so there's a few options if you want to actually sell these uh in a different manner you can also start your own online store to sell directly so something where you have a little more control over your presence payhip is a great way to start because it has its own store creation software you create a full store sell your products and it's free to get started they just charge a little bit on the the transaction about less than 10% the other option is gumroad where you have a little less control over the store itself but it is even simpler to get started as a matter of fact I have a video I will pop in the description below but you can basically list products and all they do is charge 10% on the transaction it's very easy to get started and you can even set up Affiliates and it'll get they'll get paid out pretty easily also want to mention prompt C.O now I don't have much experience with this platform but it allows you to sell prompts and sell AI in an nft format I don't know much about nfts but this one was pointed out to me and I thought it would be a cool share if you wanted to investigate that one for yourself the next platform is AI shop where essentially if a customer wants to buy one of your prints you can either sell just the digital file itself or you can actually sell the digital file along with a print so it's actually a very cool platform when it comes to selling art from an art perspective but it's targeted at AI now the platform does take 25% of the sale however you can can also sell other people's upart because they have an affiliate program where you get a 15% Commission on any of the sales so there's a few ways to make money with the AI art shop now going old school is Deviant Art now you used to be able to sell prints on Deviant Art but they've removed that feature however there is still the ability to sell your artwork as digital downloads and the cool thing about this is with Deviant Art it's almost like a social media for artist that does allow AI so you can create a profile put a bunch of art up there and reach some more people gain some followers and then actually sell your images as digital downloads and make a little bit of passive income that way so you get to have fun- making art meeting new people and selling at the same time now the fees do vary so check out the fees page I'll link to it below as well and you can see what you can expect to pay for each sale but considering that it's pretty much a passive income sort of source uh I think that's very reasonable to pay a very small fee on that sale now while we're here some quick tips just remember you don't have to sell one print at a time you can sell print packs or textures now I've started doing this recently and it's a great way to offer more value in one product also need to learn how to upscale because the images that are produced with most AI platforms aren't very high resolution so make sure you grab a good quality AI upscaler I use topaz gigapixel and topaz photo AI I'll link to those below with a tutorial and they're outstanding for upscaling your art now another interesting Marketplace I found is fi which is im. I haven't used this before but it does allow you to sell AI prints and one of the cool things is if you you can generate on the platform but you can also upload your own it'll actually look after the upscaling printing and shipping and the whole side of things so it is a bit of a print on demand service but also includes upscaling as part of it so checking out fire.co could be another handy Avenue for you if you want to start selling AI Art Online another handy Marketplace for selling digital assets is creative Market however you do have to be approved to be entered in Creative market so it has has a is a pickier sort of thing to get into and there's a barrier to entry but I did want to mention that as you get to list your products on a more exclusive Marketplace that a lot of people are making a lot more money from but they do have some pretty hefty fees starting at about 50% so you can toss that one up and see whether you're interested in it or not and just remember you can also just simply print this artwork yourself and sell it in person you can go to certain marketplaces in your area or even start an online store with pre-printed products so if you have any kind of thoughts around how you can make that possible that's another Avenue as well now there's also prompts ideas.com this is a marketplace where you can sell your prompts same as like prompt base some of the other ones we mentioned earlier you get 70% of the cut and there's a minimum withdrawal of $29 but it is another marketplace where you can quite easily upload and sell prompts and make a little bit of passive income that way as well and similar again we have prompt sellers.com where you can sell your prompts and make 80% of the sale another place where you can list your prompts but also has an affiliate program and a lot of these places if you do a bit of research in the foo up you'll find a lot of these also have affiliate programs so that's another way you can make a bit of extra money even just sending to your own prompts or and then someone buying someone else's so you can actually sell other people's prompts but simply signing up for the affiliate program of these so definitely make sure when you're exploring these platforms see if they have an affiliate program because you might make a little extra money that way as well at the end of the day you can also just get on social media promote this stuff create a following and sell on any of these platforms or even many of these platforms you don't have to stick to one you can actually use as many as you need to if you're willing to put in the time willing to create quality products and build a following or even an email list if you want to reach more people and sell more products now before we finish up the question is can you actually sell AI art commercially the thing about that is if you sign up for say mid journey and you have a paid tier you can sell art commercially you'll need to check that depending on which platform you use as to whether they allow the the sale of Commercial Art but it's also a bit of a gray area because with copyright no AI art yet has been able to be copyrighted so there are a few sort of gray areas here when it comes to selling air and if you do you at this point in time would I would not expect to be able to hold copyright over that image and you definitely cannot sell any AI art that has copyrighted elements or copyrighted characters in it commercially as those actual elements are protected by copyright so those are a few things to consider before you start trying to sell AI Art Online otherwise that's a video for today I hope you enjoyed it if you did please consider giving it a like otherwise if you want more AI art and mid Journey tutorials check out my channel otherwise thanks for watching the video have a great day and I hope to see you again soon
