How to remove hair dye | No bleach | No damage | Vitamin C

back to my channel my name is Karen and if you're new here welcome this channel is mainly about clothing hauls and hair videos review videos will haven't really decided where we're going yet with it but we'll we'll get there eventually so that's the kind of videos that you do like then you may enjoy some of mine anyway today what I want to do is I want to strip this color out with me hair I'll give you a bit of me hair history so last year I went to the hairdresser's and I had I wanted it purple I'd seen on their Facebook page somebody had gorgeous like violet color I loved it and I thought I want me hair like that so I went the hairdresser's never thinking for one minute that they were gonna bleach it to get that color but anyway as I was sat there in the chair she started putting bleach on me head in I just went with it because it was just too embarrassing and too late to go what a relief from here so anyway I thought you know which others should the nor what they're doing so anyway it should bleach to me hair first to this color and then apply the color on top and I love the result the result was really good oh but what I should say is before I went to the hairdresser's to go purple or violet or whatever color it was my hair was like this and I had a lot of red hair dye on it like I would put a lot of red box dyes and crazy color and stuff like that so I put a lot of box dyes and stuff lay out so this is when to put the bleach on and this is the color that the bleach brought it up to and then they put the color on top so anyway that color faded and then I applied this color by Schwarzkopf and again I love the color thought was great it still wasn't the purple that I thought it was gonna be then after that one I applied another I think I applied another violently purpley color which was this one here and again I loved it but it always tended to have a red tinge to it and I wanted it purple so not long ago and I decided to put blue on me hair and this is where we're at at the minute so I put put the blue box dye this one here I put the blue box dye on my hair and it went pretty dog so this is where we're at it the minute I don't have you can see me roots so anyway I was thinking about use and make one of these box things to strip out the color and as what's called through the YouTube tutorials on how to strip the color out I come across with I come across this noir damage vitamin C strips the color gold from brown to blonde and obviously I know I'm not gonna go blonde because we has not blonde but I would like to get back to the ginger color that I was after that applied to bleach before they applied the color so up that's the color that I'm aiming for now I think it's been about I reckon we should be looking it this section here will be whether because a bridge from about here in the salon so I'm thinking and given the grooves we're probably looking at about this section here should lighten to the color that I was and the salon so I've been looking at all of all the videos that anybody could possibly ingest in well to be honest uh people looking over a week it's what to do what not to do so I bought these vitamin C tablets now the only thing I'm a bit on the shirt off is these are the effervescent tape that you will dilute in water rather than like chewable ones but these are a thousand milligrams yeah there are thousand milligram tablets so these are only pierre de pound from bnm so gosh I got two adores put and in there you get you get twenty tablets I'm gonna try I'm gonna use the 20 I'm going to use the 20 this is the backup and I've got me Head & Shoulders shampoo which I've been told to use and this one is the classic clean I've seen all the errors of people make the buy the shampoo and the conditioner so this is supposed to be the one so you're supposed to crush these up and then mix with the shampoo put it in your hair leave it for an hour and here press store but maybe is not here press tour but it should have lifted so let's get started [Music] [Music] but I'm gonna sexually hey come on a section the back do the top first and then do the bottom so as you can see I've crushed of the vitamin C tablets now some people use a pets to the mall and I've seen other people using a nutribullet but I didn't have any other ones so I just put them in a bag and use a rolling pin [Music] [Music] safe for me slang have you ever put too much water have it have you ever put too much salt powder in a washing machine but what if it's like I can't stop it I'm just gonna have to apply bear with us I'm just gonna have to work quick and I should look it's spilling over the top I'm gonna have to wet my hair as well because I've seen other people seeing it works better and damp hair oh my god oh my god this was not how I envisioned Oh God flopping all over the place oh it's gonna be so I thought oh cool with this I think that's definitely gonna be a part two to this video doing it the right way I think it's because I've used at the Besant I think that's why this is not this is not the plan so the paint is on methodically Mei Mei [Music] yes yes Israel yes yes so I would suggest you don't use effervescent I'm just putting some more in I don't even know what the ratio should be I don't know what they're well they're really just you all win yeah under it we just like at least picked it up maybe hands like slang Oh God [Music] I could feed all the bits gritty in me head here in company I it's not born how I envisioned it this is a good look actually I think I'm ugly I've been coming Christmas for me hands I I just want to make sure it's all in your head I need it on they put it in water in I'm just going to wet meat and just to give it a longer simply about the posh limit just given to dip it in the other now I'm just scooping it out the sink if this doesn't work I'm just going to do it with everybody I'm gonna do it with it a stripper it's a does work [Music] behind causing the sink Wow mission successful right I'm going to leave this on for an hour that'll give us time to clean up the mess I've made in the sink I've got me trusty Aldi clincal somebody put some cling film to keep the heat in this better work go Alice dinner [Music] I'll be back in an hour I'm back it's an hour which it is off I'm going to expect to see all the color in the bath [Music] well it won't be any hairs I do nothing about just the orange off the tablet [Music] I'm expected to the red or blue wall fiddly but it's just orange so this is a few days later and I thought if you can see it has lifted the colour a bit and I think you can almost see where the bleach stopped it I'm sure it's two years ago when I have it done so it started here so let's vote today so you can see the change in color yeah you can see the change in color but it's still not the color that I wanted pre hair dye so what I've done is I don't know if the effervescent tablets whether I shouldn't be used effervescent tablets what I please I bought these ones and these are just Aldys vitamin C tablets leave these are like the chaney ones will not use them on please leave tiny chocolate you get 80 tablets in here so I'm going to use them all - fact that fell on the floor don't sink so we're going to crush them I'm going to do the same processor I did the last thing put it on leave it for an hour and I'll be back to show you the difference right so I've got me powdered crushed bitumen sea table if I can get a bit if I can give you a bit of advice it will be don't use a blender on the tablet because I literally put the blender into the ball and they just all shot out so I ended up having to use a rolling pin I put them onto a glass chopping board and then I used the ruler over them because when I tried to do it them in the plastic bag because these are a lot sharper just PS the back some whooping this is not gonna go the way I did before so I've got my head and shoulders again right - this time I'm not in a panic because it's not all fitting out and Warner dumping me hair and then I'm going to section it for the plan was to just spray it lightly with water but then I just went and just wet it and now I've just tell dried it I think I might just pull it on I'm not going to section it but it doesn't really seem to be that much there I'm gonna pour some more of this in I was gonna use this book I think I'm just gonna scoop and go life's too short default on that this is definitely not as messy but so I'm going to cover that with cling film I'm gonna leave it for an hour again and then I'll be back it's been about an hour I'm gonna wash this off [Music] so I'm back and as you can see I didn't think of what it worked actually but then I thought of it's the vitamin C tablets or rather than effervescent tablets or whether it's because this is the second time I've tried to strip it so it has brought it up and you can definitely see this was obviously where the start of the bleach was some debate and I have got another packet of effervescent tablets left and I've got a little bit I've got a little bit of head and shoulders left I am thinking about doing a seared bath with it so I think I'm gonna I'm gonna try one more with what I've got left and then I'll show you the final result so I'm back this is attempt three well I mean it's a tad late you did a lot but I'm gonna try one more time now I've used again the children vitamin C tablets from Aldi but I'm not sure if there's two different ones because I seem to be hurt a lot more in here I'll show you [Music] so this is going to be the third and final attempt to try and lighten it hopefully you'll get a little bit later if not I'm not mad at this I'm gonna put another color over the top of it anyway the more point you're doing this was to just strip the clutter out so that's the purple that I put on was going to be more more vibrant so I know what I'm doing so I didn't run out of head and shoulders I've used about not much head shoulders over the bottle but just for this Bobby basic one from Aldi's now this one this one's just head it's not the shoulders it's just the head no no so this one is just lucubra I'm a dandruff shampoo so I'm just gonna I've just run up the stairs that's why I'm forcing a punt and I having to take actually runs at the shop rush so it's gonna put some oil but I tell you what when I put this on the last tape and we kind of saw it cheap and I think it's like when you little bubbles of shampoo pop it on your head make an immediate treat so I found what works the best is just tell effect just wetting yet and just a water and then just getting it clean for like just a handful just whack it on and then they'll make a lava I really hate being this cloudy and then I'll just mark misogyny in there gold if I was it'll shock over me hey but then I was gonna wrap it and clean for them and leave it for an hour in Heidi [Music] right I'm back so this is the third tank abused the vitamin C in the head and shoulders to strip it out and I think it has made quite a big difference you can definitely see how much later it is on the ends a few people have actually commented seen the lake me hair but the only problem is it looks okay from here but anybody who can see the gray on the top of my head I'm just I'm not feeling it and I like I like the ready color so you can just see the color it is but it definitely it's definitely stripped the color out I suppose it's better the news and one of those peroxide box things that this is the natural it's the natural way to do it as I've already said before the whole point of doing this was to lift the color well the whole point is doing this was to strip the Box dyed colored out because it was just too dark and I'm going to put this Quraan next Schwarzkopf herb metallic amethyst chrome so so I hope you've enjoyed the video if you have please make sure you
